Fantastic experience: Therese Palad is the best physical therapist I've ever had! I suffered from 2 fractured lumbar vertebrae which caused a great deal of discomfort and restricted my mobility. She tailored a program to strengthen my core, improve my balance, leg strength and over-all mobility. Therese kept me motivated throughout with her encouragement and positivity. I am so improved now and back to a normal life. I should note too that the clinic is spacious and well laid out and all the staff are very welcoming and pleasant. I cannot recommend M3 and Therese highly enough, they are the best!

Fantastic experience: Definitely the best PTs I've ever been to. Unlike other places, you work with a PT for the entire oe-to-one session. At every other place I've been to, you get 15 min. max with the PT. and the rest of the ti.e with a tech or intern. Their one on one attention helps you improve and move on much faster.

Working with my therapist, Therese Palad, I was able to bounce back from my recent hip surgery, feeling stronger then ever. Therese worked with me, taking me through the exercises that I would need to do to get back my strength and mobility. Therese took her time and carefully explained the reasons why I needed to do a certain exercise. Her patience was never ending and much appreciated. Fantastic experience: My PT Gigi is wonderful. I was struggling with hip flexor issues after breaking my foot and not making progress on my own. Gigi worked with me to strengthen my core and pelvic floor. She introduced Pilates to me and I have made a lot of progress! I’m now in a beginning Pilates class here to continue the strength training I need to stay on track at almost 70 yrs old!

Fantastic experience: I went back to M3 when my back pain (for nearly 3 years) did not resolve with my personal trainer. The pain became intolerable as my role as caregiver to my mother became much more involved. The strain also caused my hernia to burst, requiring emergency surgery by a trauma surgeon. Therese Palad was assigned to me for my back pain. I wasn’t sure if she was going to be able to help me since I assumed all my private training should have helped. We started slowly following clearance by my surgeon and wasn’t sure the few exercises were going to help. I quickly learned that Therese’s knowledge in kinesiology is what enabled me to strengthen specific muscles that were not healing through typical exercises over the 2 years with my personal trainer. Over time, I found that Therese’s exercises that targeted all my weak muscles. At first, several exercises appeared similar to traditional exercises for core, back, glutes, hamstrings and quads. I quickly found that her exercises (modified in form) gave me relief from the pain, and a higher level of strengthening in a shorter time than I’ve experienced before, either with my trainer or at other physical therapy companies. Within weeks, I was free of the constant pain I was in. I’ve been to other PT companies, and I’ve only seen the typical exercises. Their therapists aren’t with you the entire time to ensure your form remains consistent. You’re typically left to do the exercises on your own once you’ve been shown how to do them. M3 Therapists often have a doctorate in physical therapy, some specific to bone structure, and formal training in Kinesiology making them far more effective in creating exercises that will relieve your pain and strengthen your body. Aside from receiving high quality training, Therese is very communicative. Taking time to learn of any new changes from visit to visit, always keeping you in good form, explaining how one modification will work better than another, and maintaining constant feedback to give you the best results. This was my 2nd time at M3. My first time was 4 years ago and equally successful following a full knee replacement!! Also, a terrific therapist who also had his doctorate degree. Highly recommend this place.

Their attention to detail and hospitality for my specific case assured me I was in good hands because I could see how much they care for their patients and want to see them recover as healthily as possible by performing key exercises during visits and establishing an at-home plan for the patients to complete independently. Gigi was kind enough to go out of her way several times to ensure my recovery was running smoothly, displaying how much their team cares for their patients.

Fantastic experience: If you have a nagging injury and you're looking into physical therapy, don't walk, RUN to M3 and request Therese!! My experience at M3 Physical Therapy started a day after I threw my lower back out playing basketball (for the hundredth time in 4 years). As I was laying bedridden feeling sorry for myself and thinking about how every time I make a little progress in my fitness journey, my injury prone lower back just decides to give out on me, I decided to try PT. I shopped around over the phone but when I called M3, they were the first ones who actually took the time and asked me about my situation rather than just telling me their rates and insurance situation like the other PT clinics I called. The receptionist asked me about my history, how often I injure my lower back, have I ever tried PT, and if I felt comfortable with her making a consultation appointment. She even did me the favor of making the appointment for the same day I called. Instantly, my recovery journey started. I wobbled into the clinic in West Hills later the same day, and met my Physical Therapist Therese Palad. Therese was amazing!! She made sure she understood what was going on with me having an 85 year old's back while only being 28. She assessed my pain, found out the specific weaknesses in my core, and walked me through every exercise and stretch very patiently and thoroughly. I was a skeptic at first and definitely was NOT expecting to walk out of a consultation appointment feeling better than I did walking in, but there's a reason I believe Therese is a part time wizard . I walked out of there feeling a million times better than I did going in. I signed up for 5 more weekly sessions and got to work on the exercises she assigned me to do during the week. Therese was even kind enough to give me her work phone number to text her if I had any questions or needed any advice on the exercises for core strengthening. As the days went on and we did more sessions, I felt better than I have in 5 years from when I first injured my back. I was more mobile, more flexible, more explosive, and most importantly, I was more comfortable in the movements I was doing without fear of triggering another injury. Therese made our sessions so much fun and would be incredibly thorough with explaining every exercise so I understand each and every movement. All of this being said, I'm very very very thankful I found M3 Physical Therapy and was assigned Therese as my physical therapist. I'm in better shape, I feel stronger, I feel more agile, and I'm playing basketball more freely without the fear of aggravating an injury again. Thank you so much Therese and thank you M3!!

Fantastic experience: Excellent PT exercises. Therese has and is doing a great job in prescribing the exercises that are most beneficial in my getting my strength and stamina.

Fantastic experience: Leilani gets it. I'm not recovering from surgery or a major injury. I just have a collection of minor injuries and I haven't taken great care of my body. Now that I'm older, I want to fix the cumulative damage to various joints, and get (and stay) in shape. She teaches me the correct exercises to do, and the correct way to do them. She incorporates Reformer Pilates techniques so I can get back to going to classes regularly. I can use what she teaches me when I'm at the gym, so I don't hurt myself, and get the best results. For me, she's like a really educated, sophisticated athletic trainer. I believe that if I keep my muscles balanced and in good shape, I will be able to enjoy my twilight years with less arthritis pain and more funcionality. I trust Leilani to help me do that. Also she's a nice person, easy to get along with. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Theresa is terrific! I went because walking a lot hurt my back and legs. I've been going for a month, and I am on the mend! Walking is easier, bending over is easier, and although i do the work, Theresa guides me. Just the best! To add to this. I am now seeing Theresa for another issue, a pinched nerve in the neck. She's amazing. Knows her stuff, works her butt off, and is the sweetest person in the world. You can't do better!

Negative experience: I gave a score of two because of their Billing Dept. My first experience for my shoulder pain was great. Therapists were in tune with my pain needs. That’s why I chose them again for my supposed to be second time PT. I never started with the second therapy because Billing Dept created more hurdles than you can imagine. Between Medicare and my other insurance, they are not amenable to the work around even though I assure them that M3 will get paid! As I respond to a question after a phone call to Medicare, a new one comes up. I devoted a whole day ending up nowhere as they are more concerned about getting paid after I assured them that they will get paid. My lumbar pain arthritis became the Billing Department’s last priority! Just venting because I am still in pain and have scheduled an appointment with another facility.

Fantastic experience: Friendly environment and staff. PT exercises are emailed to you following your visit. My wife and I have used M3 for many years knee, shoulder and neck.

I had the pleasure of being treated by Therese for a period of 9 weeks, and I went from walking on crutches to walking crutch free after having initially injured my knee. (I have an ACL that is completely torn and meniscus injury). I highly recommend M3 and especially going through my time of therapy with Therese. You will not be disappointed.

Well, for one, your physical therapist is by your side for the entire session, and there's no crowded chaos around you. It's a more personalized experience. But here's the real kicker - they don't just follow the doctor's orders like most places. Initially, you need that prescription, but once you're in, you can discuss any other discomforts or issues with your therapist. They'll address those concerns too, not just what's written in that prescription . I've had the opportunity to work with Therese Palad and Leilani Okihara. They're exceptionally well-trained. I can't recommend M3 Physical Therapy enough. They're really dedicated to setting themselves apart from others in the same field.

Fantastic experience: I've used M3 West Hills on two separate occasions, first for a bulging disc in my neck and then later for PT after hip replacement. Both times they were fantastic, and went above and beyond to help me regain the mobility I needed. I worked with both Raul and Therese for dedicated PT and occasionally Leilani as well when she filled in. Therese is especially delightful to work with even when she was making me work! They were all wonderful and their office staff is great too!

Fantastic experience: I just want to thank M3 and especially Therese Palad again for the excellent physical therapy - I am so much improved that I have no doubt that I can teach both a lecture and lab this semester! When I started in July I could barely get to your therapy center from my car in the parking lot next to M3 - and I was in nearly constant pain as high as a 9 (on a scale of 1-10). Now my pain level is usually around a 2 or less, and I am easily walking to and from my building at CSUN from a parking lot 7 min away, and am doing microbiology research at the bench again, standing for as much as 2 hours. As I continue to do the therapeutic exercises M3 showed me, I feel that I am continuing to improve both strength and flexibility. I am continuing to increase the length of time I can walk and work.

Fantastic experience: Physical therapy is an integral part of any post surgery. M3 was the perfect partner to enhance my healing. My physical therapist, Terese knew exactly what I needed to motivate me and give me the tools to continue working on my plan at home. Without her help, I would not be as far along in my healing as I am today. The whole team at M3 is top notch!

From receptionist, to office personnel, to physical therapy assistants, to the physical therapists themselves, everyone is top notch, trained well, and offers a wonderful physical therapy experience. They have rehabbed me from many injuries over the years including two knee replacements, a torn rotator cuff, back pain, and elbow pain, among many others. Always with outstanding results. I have been treated by all five therapists in the West Hills office. Each one did an excellent job even though their styles of treatment varied dramatically. I recommend M3 to all my friends and family. You will not regret going to M3 Physical Therapy for all your rehab needs.

Fantastic experience: I had never had any physical therapy before, because people told me it would be a waste of time. But I started some sessions with M3 in West Hills for my bad knee pain. it was amazing. Not only my knee pain is all gone, but also I learned some techniques from my therapist (Leilani) to prevent the pain from coming back. It was truly a wonderful experience.
