Fantastic experience: I am incredibly grateful for this place! Dr. James worked wonders in healing my neck strain. For years, I couldn’t turn my head without pain, but Dr. James was able to completely cure it. I’m beyond thankful to him and the wonderful staff! My 3-year-old daughter was also a patient here. She had motor skill delays in her legs and couldn’t jump, but after just a couple of months of treatment, she has made tremendous progress. She’s now able to run and jump like other kids her age. Highly recommend this office to anyone in need of physical therapy!

Negative experience: Extremely disorganized. My daughter’s pediatrician sent a referral for therapy, but we didn’t hear anything back after two weeks. I called South Texas Direct myself, and they informed me they hadn’t received the referral. They promised to take care of it within 1-2 days. However, I never got a call back, so I followed up after three days. At that point, they said they had received the referral and scheduled the initial evaluation for Monday. When Monday came, they told us they still didn’t have the referral and asked if I wanted to reschedule. Since I had already taken time off work, I decided to wait. After more than an hour, they finally located the referral, but then told us we still had to wait for the therapist. I waited almost 3 hours with my 15 month old all while the therapist allowed other patients to be seen before us. I ended up leaving and won’t be going back.

Fantastic experience: Love the customer service the staff provided, and Beto was so sweet and kind and went over everything and was very informative of my back problem. Explained into detail what was bothering me and what stretches I need to do and I feel I'm on the road to a full recovery thanks to them. Only down fall is the limited parking, hard when we drive large vehicles and everyone is trying to come in or out of the area.

Fantastic experience: My first time at South Texas and I can say I was very happy. With the great customer service as soon as you walk in. The Doctor is very humble and shows that he care about his patients. Very nice and respectful young man. NANCY my therapist was great the first day. I can see I will come out feeling great after being under there care and ready to keep doing what I like. Spending time with my parents and playing with my nephews and nieces

Fantastic experience: If you need physical therapy, this is the place to go. All of the staff are nice and welcoming. The PTs give you very personized service. They never leave your side when you are there. I am being treated by Melissa and Melinda and both of them are using alternative methods besides exercises and massages to heal me. These methods are working very well. My pain is almost completely gone. I would highly recommend going to STDPT.

Fantastic experience: Before coming to South Texas Direct Physical Therapy, I was bed ridden on my back for four weeks with a sharp brutal pain running down my left leg. I couldn’t even get out of bed to go to therapy. Dr James Sanchez came to my house for the first two therapy sessions. The following sessions I went to his STDPT clinic in a wheelchair. Within a period of 3 weeks, I have gone from being bed ridden to walking without the use of any support. Dr James and his professional team give one on one physical therapy service that gets results. At South Texas Direct physical therapy they were very attentive to my needs and made my sessions comfortable. Ms. Melissa the receptionist/office assistant was always happy to assist me over the phone and at my time of arrival. Always cheerful regardless of her day. Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! My case was a little difficult being that doctors could not identify what was wrong with me. I was referred to STDPT for help with my vertigo and balance. While other doctors tried to treat me with medication and with no diagnosis, STDPT worked towards treating my symptoms. That is the best part of this place. Dr. James and his staff, work towards treating your symptoms and send you home with valuable knowledge to treat yourself at home. After seeing several doctors to no avail, I was able to finally get better through STDPT treatment and therapy. Don't hesitate to call STDPT, you will not regret it!

Fantastic experience: After never having dealt with any physical injury (fortunately), my first experience with pain left me feeling anxious and confused. I was referred to Dr. James and I am so happy I was! Dr. James is very thorough and spends time with the patient taking a thorough history and going through exercises to help him accurately diagnose you. He also helps give you the tools to treat your specific problem and makes you feel listened to and under great care. Laredo is blessed to have Dr. James back from Austin, TX!

Fantastic experience: STDPT has helped me when no other could find a direct cause for my lower back pain. When sitting and standing was difficult to do, Dr. Sanchez and his team helped me get back my mobility in no time! Everyone on the team is so friendly and helpful; from the moment you call to start up with their facility with the front desk to hitting their gym with the assistants. Amazing crew, and I'm kind of sad I won't be seeing them as often. If i were to ever need physical therapy again, this is the place I'll be coming back to. Dr. James Sanchez and his staff are amazing. They take the time to listen to your physical problem, hear your concerns, and most of all, help you achieve the goal you came in for. The staff is awesome, courteous, very professional, and knowledgeable in addressing all your physical concerns. Fantastic experience: Dr. James Sanchez has brought Laredo great new clinic for those needing Physical Therapy. Dr Sanchez is from Laredo, went to LCC and the University of Texas. He opened his clinic just this late summer and in just a short time the clinic is thriving. Dr. Sanchez works in a cheerful and friendly atmosphere together with his skilled, competent team of degreed therapists as well as giving Laredo College interns a chance to further their hands-on studies. Personally, I have a long term need when it comes to physical therapy and I get better every visit. It’s a wonder to see other patients come in with a problem and over a few visits they are ready to go back to regular lives. James direct hands approach is attributed to his creative use of his experience and training. He has great bedside manner. Fantastic experience: South Texas Direct Therapy is an oasis in a desert. After a negative experience in service elsewhere, I was delighted to have discovered this particular office. Staff is very professional and knowledgeable. The office is kept 100% sanitized. All COVID-19 protocols are strictly followed. Dr. James Sanchez is a stickler for detail. In a sea of uncertainty, this is the best physical therapy experience I had.
