Jackson Physical Therapy

Positive experience: Clean, spacious facilities with multiple machines. Technician support was spotty: some very good, others appear to just go through the motions. Insufficient communication on my progress - felt like I could be kept on the therapy indefinitely. I had to request an evaluation after 4 weeks and was given a target discharge date.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service, very knowledgable. They are there to you help you achieve your goals in healing and progress.

Negative experience: TL;DR: I got a huge bill and the manager refused to call me back. Look. This is not a bad place to get PT. I'd give the service I received a 4.5/5: everyone was friendly and competent, and I did improve. My only service complaints are that you only get to see the actual PT for evals/re-evals and the PTAs would only do manual therapy on one body part (I was there for my shoulder and knee, and I had to pick which they'd work on). It just felt like they were a bit stingy with the care and access to the PT. Here's the reason for the one star: they told me my estimated payment was $44/session (I have a high deductible plan, so all sessions were basically out of pocket). That seemed low, but I figured they'd tell me if there was a change, and in the meantime I went in the recommended 3x/week since it was so affordable. Two whole months later, I got a bill for over $1000. The "estimated payment" turned out to be only a fraction of the actual cost of each visit, which ranged in price from $109-$278. Had I known this, I never would have gone in so frequently, and I would have asked to pay the cash price, as it was lower than my insurance's contracted rates. I asked both the billing company and Jackson's office manager why the amount they were charging me wasn't changed as soon as they knew my insurance allowed for a much higher fee, or why they let me keep coming in without telling me I would be slammed with a huge bill. They told me they have no systems in place to do that. They would have kept charging me $44/visit and then sending huge bills forever. This is terrible, even unethical, business practice. Carson, the office manager, was very nice and said she'd contact me once the rest of the insurance claims came through so we could work something out with the huge balance. I paused PT in the meantime. After several weeks, I called and left a couple messages for Carson. She eventually texted me and said she would call me once she heard back from their billing company. I left her another message a couple weeks later, but I never heard back. I was planning on going back to Jackson and did not seek another PT referral, and I have regressed in the months without care. My daughter's PT referral was randomly sent to Jackson, and when they called me last week to schedule, I told them I needed to resolve my account first and to have Carson call me. They then told me my chart had been closed and I was no longer a patient there. Then they said that since I wasn't going to schedule for my daughter, they'd reject her referral. I honestly don't know what happened. I don't know why she wouldn't call me back. I told everyone who called that I wanted to come back in as soon as we figured out the account. My advice is, unless you are POSITIVE what your copays are, do not go here. EDIT: She called me the day after I posted this. She said she'd tried to call me once but it rang without going to voicemail. I do not have a record of this call, and she did not say why she didn't try again or call back the other times I contacted the office. No apologies were given, but she did get approval to reduce my balance by a modest percentage, which I really appreciate.

Fantastic experience: Therapists and staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. They help you with your exercises and modify them if necessary, and are always willing to answer questions about your healing process. I was also able to try cupping and dry needling from certified staff members. They have helped me a lot.

Fantastic experience: We recently went to Jackson for my daughter’s sports injury. We were very happy with all the friendly staff, from front desk staff to PT’s and PTA’s. Everyone we dealt with were great and made us feel very welcome! They made my daughter feel comfortable and were attentive to her needs. They’re flexible on working with our schedules which, made getting her to appointments much easier. After her treatments with Jackson PT she was feeling much better and her overall pain decreased tremendously. I would highly recommend Jackson PT.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Jackson PT after a car accident, and I'm so grateful that I was. I've been to PT at two other places in town, and they just don't compare. All of the people I worked with were kind, compassionate, engaged, and pleasant. There are private therapy rooms, which was so appreciated (at other places in town, the therapies are in a big room in front of other people). Fantastic experience: I had an injury from a car accident to my neck and shoulder, including a broken collar bone, that I thought would be a problem the rest of my life. Until I came to Jackson PT. The entire staff are engaged in your care. They are kind, efficient, and well-trained. Each visit they track your progress and will add or modify exercises and stretches to keep you improving. They encourage without pushing. And will provide all the guidance you need to keep up your routine at home. I cannot say enough great things about the entire team. But I can say thank you for putting me back together again.

Fantastic experience: I have to highly recommend this PT office. I have been coming here for the last 2 months and already feel so much better. The staff makes me feel welcome and works with me on all of the exercises to make sure I get the best benefit. I have been to PT two other times at different offices and neither of them have a fraction of the care I receive here. They give you massage therapy to work on the area being rehabilitated, give heat or ice depending on the treatment, and then you go to the gym and do your exercises every time. I never knew that all was part of PT, and this office raises the bar. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and fun. I was referred here by the Doctor's Center, who I also recommend, and I see why they choose Jackson Physical Therapy. Thank you to all the staff, every one of you get a gold star. Fantastic experience: I began my physical therapy here in March 2022 after a groin injury I suffered at least two years ago began to cause my leg to give out. The entire staff at the Centennial location are wonderful. Melissa, Ray, Caesar and Victoria are all wonderful in ensuring you're comfortable in therapy and that you're using proper form when exercising. Special thanks to Nancy, Michael and Danielle who worked on me physically and instructed me on various stretches and strengthening exercises. Heed their instructions and you will get better. Yesterday was my last day of therapy. I am grateful to come back from a 2+ year old injury within four months. I left with more knowledge about exercise and how hard to push (or not). I highly recommend Jackson Physical Therapy @ Centennial.

Fantastic experience: This place has been great to me. I had knee pain for months and in 4 weeks I was walking without pain and almost full range of motion. All the people from the desk to the therapists are excellent at their job and treat everyone nicely and with respect. Definitely coming back here if I ever need physical therapy again.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy going to Jackson Physical Therapy...I can't believe how strong my knees have gotten since starting my rehabilitation treatments. I started back walking 3 to 4 miles again unlike before. I had chronic pain in my knees due to arthritis. Fantastic experience: Charles was a great technician and helped me through the physical therapy. The therapist was also great. They helped me overcome my leg pain and regained some of my mobility that was lost. I would definitely come back if I could.

Joel and Danielle are great therapists and provide input and suggestions on best recovery. Muscle stim, heat and massage great after workout. Applied Kinesiology tape to support knee that really minimizes pain!!!

Fantastic experience: It's a great place. The staff are very nice and professional. They make sure you are comfortable and I don't feel any pressure or anxiety if I have an issue. The office is small but very nice looking. I never had a bad experience and would recommend this place. I would suggest getting a message some where else if you like it more rough.

Fantastic experience: Ever since my first appointment, the team at Jackson PT has made me feel very comfortable and I’ve been seeing great progress with my pain. The therapists Joel and Danielle are amazing and the best I’ve worked with, and I can tell they truly care about getting me to get back to normal. Fantastic experience: I was very pleased with the physical therapy sessions I had earlier this year at Jackson Physical Therapy. They really helped me alleviate the pain I was feeling at the time, and I’m so grateful. I have returned for another pain area on my body and am enjoying my visits. I especially like Charles and Michael who are extremely kind, patient, responsive, ATTENTIVE and hospitable. Danielle and Heather are very talented therapists and I always enjoy my sessions with them as they are extremely knowledgeable, personable and offer suggestions for things to do at home to improve my health. Danielle helped me heal my arm pain earlier this year and I couldn’t be more thankful. Overall, I am pleased with the services I received at Jackson Physical Therapy and I am extremely grateful for them correcting my issues and alleviating my pain.

Fantastic experience: Very pleased with the physical therapy sessions at Jackson Physical Therapy at Painted Desert. The personnel are aware of the importance of creating an environment that will be Covid-Free, constantly cleaning the therapy tables and workout areas. The therapists are caring, attentive and deeply concerned. Danielle and Mike are extremely knowledgeable and strive to concentrate on your personal discomfort and give therapeutic exercises to work this particular problem to strengthen, and alleviate stress or pain. Their goal is to see improvement, less pain, more flexibility for doing the things we need to do in life. Jackson requires you to fill out questionnaires to evaluate advancements that are being made. It's nice to know that Jackson Physical Therapy cares enough to discuss your progress and work one-on-one with you to increase your mobility. This is not a place to socialize. The concern is devoted to better health and endurance. Charles and Michael are kind individuals, with the utmost attentiveness as you walk in for a session, preparing you for therapy, instruction or massage / TENS. The reception staff are welcoming, ready to answer any questions you may have, and will assist you pleasantly and willingly. Every employee is there to help and extend their ultimate concern to your well being and health issues. I have been to other PT facilities but would recommend and direct those who need care to come here.
