Fantastic experience: My husband Steve recently spent 3 weeks at Asbury Park Nursing and Rehab Center. Couldn't have been more pleased with his care. The staff were friendly and caring, all willing to go the extra mile. Dietician did an in depth assessment, along with OT. Kudos especially to the stellar PT department!! Worked with Steve daily and increased mobility endurance and stair training capacity. He progressively improved and is now doing so well at home! We would highly recommend Asbury Park.

Fantastic experience: The Best Part is the therapy staff all of them are outstanding with what they do Milanie is the best and Rolando is dope too for getting my personal wheelchair upgraded and fixed also Alicia was wonderful with greedy and bringing me into the physical therapy as if I was family...Simona think she's the comedian of the group but she's a wonderful person too and works hard at what she does...Now Heather is new but has taught me some dope exercises to help heal my leg so thank you For Now Till Later Your Girls favorite Fly Guy inah wheelchair - Mr Carl Hunt

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome and the staff is Amazing and really nice. The managers, administrators, RNs, CNAs, Doctors, PT, OT, People that wash your clothes, people that make your beds and make sure you have a clean room. Cooks as well. Sorry if I missed anyone but you guys have made my stay fell like you guys cared and go above and beyond, out of your way to make me feel good and comfortable as well as the other patients. If you’re nice and follow the rules, it makes your stay worth while. I highly recommend this place so much I might even try to volunteer here. They really do care about their patients. Again I highly recommend it here!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I was a patient at asburypark nursing and rehab winter of 2021 during covid outbreak. I was recovering from major abdominal surgery and under the care of Dr Biaduc and her PA Aggie Roces. The doctors and staff at asburypark are amazing,the kitchen staff will go out of their way to accommodate dietary needs and the food is not bad at all since they are accommodating 139 patients. All with different dietary needs!!! I now work at asburypark as the assistant director of nursing and I hope I can provide the level of care and support for the patients that I received.

Fantastic experience: I am new to Asbury Park. I have been in this industry for over 12 years. I have worked in different health systems and in many different regions of California. I have never posted a review in my career. Because of the goodness of this facility, I felt I should. I can honestly say that I rarely see this type of natural kindness and attention to the needs of the residents and staff. I consider myself fortunate to have found a facility that cares as much for the staff as they do for the residents. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for quality care or for a place to work that they can call home.

Fantastic experience: Asbury is a Godsend! Yes the “building “ is older, a bit out dated… but to be honest… the staff makes up for it!! Our Grandmother has been here since early February… and we appreciate everything they do for her. She is being taken care of, better than we could do at home on our own. So many things to say… of course there are bumps and hiccups … but the Staff helped make her comfortable and adjust to the new arrangements. They also help us still with understanding changes she is going through due to her condition. Oh yes.. when we arrived the day to move her in… no joke … we were greeted in the parking lot by about 8 people… it was like they were receiving the Queen!!! And they still treat her as such… thank you Asbury Park for taking care of her… and us too!!!

Fantastic experience: The staff at Asbury Park are exemplary and have a strong leader in Doug Hawkins, the administrator. He leads by example with his carding, compassionate nature to ensure the residents have a good quality of life. I’d trust any loved one at this facility.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of working here and cannot say enough about how wonderful the staff are. From the housekeepers to dietary aides to activities staff and nurses, everyone takes such enormous pride in what they do. The team at Asbury is like a family. Everyone supports each other and values the role that each plays. The health, contentment, and care for the residents and patients at Asbury is paramount. Doug, the administrator, is the nicest, most sincere, dedicated, and compassionate person that I have ever worked with. He cares so deeply about every facet of Asbury Park. He makes himself available to staff, residents, and resident’s families. He truly cares. It is so moving and inspirational to work with someone like Doug. His passion for patient care is seen throughout the facility. If I had a family member who needed to be placed in a skilled nursing facility, I would hope there would be room at Asbury Park for them. I trust, admire, and appreciate each of the staff at Asbury. It is a wonderful place to work and a beautiful family to be a part of. Thank you again Doug for all that you do for Asbury Park.

Great communication, honest answers and over the top with kindness ❤️❤️ I have been in Health Care for many years - do not have a relative here but have seen the great care they have given my friends family - no better place!!!! ❤️ ❤️

Fantastic experience: Asbury Park is an amazing place. My grandmother was placed under Doug Hawkins leadership, and the nurses took such good care of her. The activity directors made daily living enjoyable by keeping residents busy with games and crafts.

Fantastic experience: This facility shows caring and genuine interest in the residents. Our family member lived there 3 years and the staff treated her and us as family. The facility is clean and odor free. If we ever had concerns, they addressed us and went out of their way to correct it. Highly recommend this facility for rehabilitation and long term care. I’m a retired RN and know what to look for in facilities.

Doug Hawkins runs a wonderful facility and the residents are so well cared for. This is truly a professional, attentive and loving environment. I would recommend this facility to your loved one anytime!

Fantastic experience: Very friendly management! The administrator is very helpful and understandable. Took very good care of our registry and we took care of them as well! Would recommend to nurses. Not very likely that I recommend snfs. It’s run like it should be.

Fantastic experience: I love Asbury Park, the residents and employees! When you walk through the doors you feel welcomed by the staff. It is a clean facility that is open 24 hours 7 days a week. The staff here are passionate about what they do and really care about making sure their residents needs are met. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for more then just a corporate skilled nursing and top notch post acute care.

Fantastic experience: I have had the absolute pleasure of working and volunteering in skilled nursing facilities since I was 16 years old and I'm happy to say that working at Asbury Park has been one for the books. We offer exquisite nursing care for our patients and accommodate their every need. Our staff takes pride in their careers and they are truly dedicated to offering the best care in the Greater Sacramento area. We also provide hair salon services twice a week with a hair stylist who specializes in this line of work. Also, our administrative staff works around the clock to ensure patient and family needs are met, no matter what. I highly recommend this facility to anyone in a time of need. We are pleased to be of service to Sacramento and surrounding counties.

Fantastic experience: *SEE EDIT* Had a friend go missing when trying to have him taken to valley recovery. I called and asked if they had seen anyone they told me that someone got out of the car and walked away. Then I went in in person and talked to them and gave them a missing persons flyer and they told me that a young man was walking around the lobby late at night but had no other information for me. Ive filed a missing persons report with sac county. I attached a picture of the missing boy if you have seen him let me know. EDIT: after one of the managers read the review they contacted me personally and work with me to help me find my friend. They did so much more than. Just ask about the facility. Their efforts went above and beyond and I really appreciate it. Thank you so much Asbury!

Fantastic experience: I am so pleased with all the staff here at Asbury Park. Very professional and a very clean facility. They have excellent care givers and their RN's are top notch. I am impressed with the rehab team as well as the leadership and management team. LOVE LOVE this place. The best short term post acute care in Sacramento.
