Fantastic experience: I suffered from plantar fasciitis for almost a year, and my physician suggested physical therapy at El Paso Physical Therapy Services on Dew Drive, because she herself had also been successfully treated there for the same condition. My therapist was Dr. Marin, "Rudy". He did a thorough evaluation of my foot and prescribed certain stretching and muscle-strengthening exercises. I also got ultrasound treatment, hot pads, and massages of my heal and bottom of the foot, and he also asked me to do a number of exercises at home on days when I didn't have therapy appointments. Rudy was confident that we can get this under control without any corticosteroid injections, which I found very attractive. After about 10 therapy appointments I noticed a clear improvement of my condition. Not only did my plantar fasciitis pain (which used to be the worst in the morning) disappear almost completely, I also felt all together more energetic and fit. I am incredibly impressed with El Paso Physical Therapy Services, with the competence and professionalism of my therapist, and all the staff, whom I got to know and observe, with the way all the patients are being treated and cared for, with the array of exercise machines for every possible condition, and with the friendly atmosphere and cleanliness of the place. I was always looking forward to go to my therapy sessions. After a total of I believe 15 sessions, Rudy and I determined that further sessions would not be necessary at this time, and that we would only continue should my plantar fasciitis return. I am following Rudy's exercise regiment, and I wear healthy footwear to make sure this doesn't happen - although I miss seeing my friends there. The licensed therapists are hands on with all the patients, unlike most places that dump their patients off to techs and trainees. Fantastic experience: Nobody really looks forward to physical therapy - for many reasons. But after one session, I was a believer! The therapy worked, the therapists were all amazing - friendly and very easy to work with - and (best of all) seemed to know exactly what my body needed. After one session, I was pain-free for hours. After 4 weeks, I was pain-free. And, so far, remaining pain free! I left after the last session feeling great and knowing how to continue improving at home. And with the assurance that if I needed more therapy, it was available. Physical therapy can do wonders - especially at the El Paso Physical Therapy Clinics!

Fantastic experience: I was referred by my doctor when I showed up at his office unable to walk without excruciating pain in my right leg and the use of a cane or walker. A former semi-pro body builder and long-time yoga devotee, I am no stranger to pain and aware enough to know something was very wrong. The diagnosis was that my IT band had become inflamed exacerbating the scar tissue from an old tear in my lateral collateral ligament and the arthritis in my 60+ hip joint and it was going to take time to heal. I met with the therapist who put me through a series of movements while he evaluated the damage. Then he devised a treatment plan consisting of various stretches, manual stretching of the ligament, focused electrical pulse therapy (TENS) with moist heat and combined that with ultrasound to break up scar tissue all overseen by his assistants. I was scheduled for 2 sessions a week for 6 weeks. They sent me home with instructions on exercises, stretches, and protocols to do at home. After the first session I was able to walk without my cane. I dutifully followed the instructions they gave me. By the end of week two, four sessions total, I was back to my old self. I didn't need to go back. They are amazing!!! I have never bounced back so quickly from an injury! Thank you EPPTS!!!

Fantastic experience: I went to EPPT for about h8 months bgefore and after surgery to repair my rotator cuff. They did an excellent job with my rehabilitation. The staff is caring, attentive and concerned. I now have my full range of motion and no pain or discomfort. I would highly recommend using their facilities.
