Fantastic experience: My experience with MUPT was fantastic!! Jeff Wilkens and the rest of the clinic team played a critical role in my recovery. They prioritize patient-centered care, which meant that I always had a personalized approach to my recovery/exercise plan. I felt like they met me where I was at and accompanied me throughout my journey. My questions never went unanswered, and I appreciated the unique opportunity to engage with the PT students rotating throughout the clinic! I am so grateful for MUPT and would highly recommend the clinic to any community member in Milwaukee.

Fantastic experience: Incredible experience during rehabilitation of a torn lateral meniscus. Albojay was amazing during the early process of extending range of motion and subsequent strengthening of nearby and core muscles. He additionally provided rationale for everything that was performed and attempted. I appreciated that and learned a tremendous amount during the entire process. The graduation gift of a free T-shirt was a bonus.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of seeing Albojay for almost the entire school year for multiple injuries issues all at once, and I felt like I received the best care possible. Albojay was very attentive and all about what was best for me as a client. He always asked questions, and was very patient and understanding. He made the injuries and recovery feel less like a task, it was enjoyable and knowledgable. The other staff was always very nice and helpful with scheduling and anything else that was needed. I really enjoyed my time here, and will in the future as well!

Fantastic experience: Albojay was awesome. He was a great listener, found the root of my problem, gave me an individualized exercise program and taught me how to manage my symptoms independently. He not only got me back to my baseline without neck pain, but was also caring enough to address my chronic shoulder pain that I thought would never improve. His examination and manual therapy skills are superb. I highly recommend this clinic for PT because it is a positive and fun environment with friendly therapists who use evidence-based interventions in a 1-on-1 setting to get you feeling and moving better.

Fantastic experience: What can I say other than I am so happy that I found this place! I had been dealing with a frozen shoulder for about 9 months when I came to see Brent Bode. Because the diagnosis took about 6 months, I had been recommended to see two other physical therapists. While I won’t say the experience with them was bad, it was pale in comparison to the knowledge and strategy from Brent to get my shoulder in working order. I highly recommend this place for anyone that needs therapy. The clinic blends the expertise of its clinicians with talented field students creating a symbiotic relationship that benefits the patients. I observed the other clinicians as professional and helpful, even though I didn’t directly work with them. Brent used a variety of methods to help my shoulder and over the course of the three months of therapy, my shoulder was better than I thought it would ever be and I’ve regained full motion. Being that my condition is not too common, I am so happy to finally have found a place that was able to handle it and I am confident it can meet all types of therapy needs. Do yourself a favor and use this place is you ever require physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: I really appreciated the staff at Marquette. They were very pleasant to be around, compassionate, and friendly. I worked with Jeff and then Albojay. They both encouraged me to work hard, challenge myself, yet listened carefully to my feedback, adjusting exercises as necessary. They took into consideration what tools I had access to outside of the clinic, and worked around that so I could keep doing what I needed to do with what I had. The exercise app was super helpful too. They did a great job of listening to my end-goals and indeed got me back to where I wanted to be. Bonus, was even being downtown, they offered free parking in a lot across the street. Patty was great to find me spots on their busy schedules as well. I would recommend this crew in a heartbeat. Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of being treated at the Marquette PT Clinic, and would highly recommend the experience to anyone looking for knowledgeable, empathetic, and passionate therapists. I was consistently listened to and my plan was always adjusted accordingly. I could not recommend this clinic and these therapists enough.

Fantastic experience: Great overall experience. Albojay took a holistic approach to address both original symptoms with dry needle therapy and then stretching and strengthen routine to prevent future reoccurrence. Patty was also super helpful with the insurance processing. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was dealing with an injury that I hadn't experienced before, and neither me nor my doctor could figure out what the problem was. After about 2 months of dealing with this injury, and it progressively getting worse, we thought it would be helpful to see a PT, and maybe they could better evaluate my injury. I had an initial meeting with Albojay at the MU PT clinic and within 30 minutes I felt confident we had finally figured out what the injury was and what its causes were. I've done PT three times before this for different injuries, but never at MU's clinic, and I honestly feel like this was the most helpful PT I've done yet. Not only was Albojay able to determine what the injury was, but he also set me up with a great stretching/workout program that greatly reduced and healed my injury, and also helped make me conscious of other slight issues/injuries I had. The clinic as a whole has done a great job of working with patients amidst the pandemic, and I would definitely recommend that anyone in need of PT schedule an appointment at the Marquette Univ. Fantastic experience: The entire staff at the MU PT clinic is immensely positive and supportive throughout the entire process. Albojay in particular was fantastic as I worked through my aches and pains! I easily recommend MU PT to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I saw Brent Bode for knee pain which then turned into plantar fasciitis after I made an attempt at running after a two year break (I was riding the bike instead at the gym due to pain). He addressed my acute pain, which seemed to change multiple times over the course of seeing him. Brent not only improved my mobility and decreased the pain I was experiencing, but I am now back to running. I am truly impressed with the staff at Marquette University Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: I worked with the PT clinic for a month and a half was a pleased with my experience. The staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating with my schedule. I felt very comfortable in the clinic as all employees were taking safety appropriate measures due to COVID.

Fantastic experience: I've seen Jeff, Albojay and Brent all at some point during my treatments, but I primarily was under Albojay's care for neck pain, headaches and lightheadedness lingering from a concussion. Albojay and all the PTs at this clinic are fantastic and knowledgeable. They individualize treatments to fit your needs and educate you on strategies and exercises to maintain the progress made in PT. I'm extremely thankful for the care I received from MUPTC and would recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Susana was my therapist for the duration of my treatment. She was outstanding! Very professional and at the same time, warm and friendly. Very knowledgeable and willing to explain exactly what she was doing and why. I felt informed and trusted in the process. Her manual therapy was very effective and extremely thorough. She also provided me with exercises to do at home to hasten my improvement. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! In addition, the service in scheduling and the overall atmosphere of the clinic were excellent. I really appreciate the service I was given!

Fantastic experience: High praise for the MU PT Clinic: I ruined my shoulder by accident, shredded it really, and before and after the surgery the PT Clinic at Marquette helped me regain my strength and range of motion. I worked very closely with Albojay and to a lesser degree, Jeff and the school interns, over the course of about a year. The shoulder is a tricky joint, as there is so much going on there that you don't realize, and through it all Albojay kept me positive when I was down and used all the available techniques to help heal me. I highly recommend the team and will actually miss my PT appointments because of the bond that I built up with him/them. PT requires you to engage mentally and physically, push yourself a little more everyday and be aware of what your body is telling you so you don't push too hard. Albojay listened, coached and pushed me and without him I don't think my recovery would have progressed as well as it did. He even built a plan for me after our sessions ended so I could continue the work on my own. Great Team! I'll miss them and I thank them for the help.

Fantastic experience: My experience rehabbing my shoulder post-surgery with Albojay far exceeded my expectations, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Albojay demonstrated tremendous knowledge, empathy, and patience throughout my rehab journey. Spanning approximately 7 months, we made a steady progression from very light resistance exercises and manual therapy to complex, higher weight/resistance exercises to ensure my shoulder, and all of the connecting muscles, had the requisite strength and stability to ensure a safe return to the sports that I love to play. When I started PT, I could barely lift my elbow above my stomach. Upon completion of my program, I had regained the full range of motion I had preceding my surgery. In addition, I built strength in key (and sometimes overlooked) muscles to promote shoulder stability, and we worked on improving some of my mechanics to minimize my risk of a subsequent injury. I feel stronger in those target muscles at the end of my program than prior to my injury. Going forward, I know what to do at the gym to continue building overhead strength to safely do the activities that require it. I was very impressed by the variety of exercises included in my treatment, which changed throughout my program. Albojay was able to create an at home program that stayed fresh while always keeping in mind my personal goals throughout. During the PT sessions, while we made sure I had a comfortable understanding of my at home exercises, we did a lot of different supervised exercises as well, in addition to the required manual therapy and stretching. I was also impressed with the systems level approach taken to rehabbing my shoulder, such as improving strength in my back and core in addition to my shoulder itself. I tend to ask a lot of questions, but Albojay was always willing to take the time to answer any questions, whether it was on technique, proper equipment, or even the underlying science behind the treatment. He was also very responsive to my emails. Recovering from a shoulder surgery can be arduous, but Albojay made the journey orders of magnitude better, keeping me motivated and progressing throughout. Most importantly, I had a successful outcome at the end. I highly recommend Albojay at the Marquette PT Clinic!

Fantastic experience: I am tremendously grateful for my experience at the Marquette PT Clinic. As someone who has had back pains and aches for years, I was convinced there was no solution for me. I thought back pain was something I would have to live with for the rest of my life. After a rocky start to training for my second half marathon, I knew I needed to do something to address my "old woman back." I submitted an inquiry to the PT Clinic (after much hesitation on my end and convincing from several friends and family members) and after my first hour with Albojay knew I found the right fit. Albojay not only helped me move from being in immense pain 24/7 to not even thinking about my back, but also helped me understand how to correct so many basic movements and exercises I had been doing wrong for nearly my entire life. I felt immediate relief, mentally and physically. I now feel more confident and comfortable in the exercises Albojay gave me to work on. While I hope there won't be any future, major back or other pains in my life, I 1) now know how to take better care of my body and 2) know that the PT Clinic is here to help me!

Fantastic experience: The MU PT Clinic was wonderful! The location is extremely convenient. My therapist was very supportive, and informative as to what exercises are best for me and my situation. If the need arises I would go there for future treatment.

Fantastic experience: I have never had to go through PT before, so if you’re looking for a fantastic first experience like I did, come here! The staff was super knowledgeable and encouraging throughout the entire process, and their scheduling support was always able to find a time that worked. My back wouldn’t be feeling this great without their help and provided exercises. The open-room facility was always nice and clean, and there was never a problem using certain equipment, even at high-volume times. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My daughter Maya broke her 5th metatarsal and have to have surgery in March. We were recommended by Cassie to try Marquette Physical Therapy Clinic to get her back to dancing again. Albojay and Natalie worked with Maya and we cannot express our gratitude for getting Maya back on the dance floor 100%! They are wonderful along with Cindy who schedules all the appointments. I would recommend anyone looking for a physical therapy clinic to try it out. They are wonderful!

Fantastic experience: I have seen Susana Arciga for 2 separate types of physical therapy now in the last year: issues arising from long term TMJ and also, a rotator cuff injury that included problems with my hips and knees, from a fall. When I arrived each time for my first visit, I was broken and in extreme pain. Over time, what Susana worked on with me helped me to achieve improvements that are remarkable. She learned about me and we discussed what I would be able to do at home to help my healing. She never asked anything that was unreasonable and gave me proper tools to help with healing. I feel "normal" again, and am able to achieve all my goals that I had when I began treatment. Susana is an excellent therapist and compassionate person. I could not be happier with the outcome of my treatment, and have recommended her to many friends and family. Cindi helped me to make appointments that worked with my schedule and sent reminder emails before appointments. In addition to that, I appreciate how pleasant she is. She's the first "face" of the clinic and she does a wonderful job! It was always a joy to walk in and be greeted with such kindness! -Risha

Fantastic experience: I went into the Marquette Clinic after dealing with some leg pain for about 1 1/2 months. I currently do not have insurance and was excited that they offered a quick 15 minute injury evaluation for free. The Clinic Director, Jeff, worked with me and was very friendly and helpful. He explained what was going on, gave me advice, and I left with a few exercises that I could work on at home. My visit was a very pleasant experience and I would recommend the clinic to anyone who is in pain. They really know their stuff!

Fantastic experience: If an injury is slowing you down, get to the Marquette PT Clinic! I've worked with Susanna twice now, first for a hip issue and more recently lower back troubles. She's detailed, thorough, and the best at tough love. Both times, I quickly returned to my active life. It's also great interacting with PT students, who clearly have received an excellent PT education at Marquette.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience with the clinic and Albojay. I had back and hip pain and was skeptical that PT could resolve my issues as fully as it did. Albojay gives you challenging exercises, but leaves it up to you to execute on the treatment plan. My back pain went away in about 3 weeks, my hip pain improved significantly over the course of treatment, and I regained the confidence to resume my normal workouts knowing I could avoid injury and further pain. Best health care experience I've had in a long while.

Fantastic experience: A 4-month long sustained concussion was not something I had planned during my senior year at Marquette. Unexpected as well was one of the only things that gave me hope during this hard time for me: going to Marquette's PT clinic. It is one thing to take a damaged brain and make it significantly more healed, but another thing to walk into a place that makes you feel so welcomed, a place where you laugh, where you connect with charismatic individuals whose mission is your progress. I felt wholly and uniquely cared for, and it is this attention to my well being that made me want to work faithfully to do the exercises, stretches and resting prescribed. I got knocked down very hard, but with the help of Marquette's PT clinic, I shot right back up and am gratefully now at 100%. Go to this clinic on campus, what a resource it is! For questions, a brief consultation, for indepth treatment- for joy for crying out loud!- the individuals here are committed to YOU, not just your pain. I regard the care I received in the highest esteem, and I'd venture to say I'm not the only one.

Fantastic experience: Experience was definitely a great one. Came to see Dr. Albojay Deacon for several months in rehabing an Achilles Rupture. Dr. Jeff Wilkins, Dr. Deacon, and their team of experienced Therapist helped me regain my mobility and confidence to return to competitive basketball play. Fantastic experience: I had to go to P.T. for my knee (s), and my experience with the crew there was great! They worked with me the whole way through teaching exercises and stretching (except for the r.d.l). lol. They also worked with me on changing appointments and even had some laughs with the staff.
