Vista Physical Therapy - Irving, E. Las Colinas Blvd.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely loved my time rehabbing my shoulder at Vista. All of the staff are patient and kind. Melissa at the front desk is easy to talk to and incredibly nice. My trainer Sam is a lot of fun to work with. More importantly, he's very knowledgeable. He explained the biology of my injury on my first day and structured a plan to make it better. After a couple months, I left pain-free. The other trainers sometimes step in if your trainer is busy, and they all are easy to work with and super friendly. The environment is very relaxed and fun. Excellent place to go for physical therapy!

Fantastic experience: This is the second Vista location I've been to and both are great. The staff at the Irving location is always friendly and welcoming. Sam is always attentive and encouraging!

Fantastic experience: I think vista PT is an amazing place! I love the faculty (except rob) because they are all amazingly supportive (except rob) and they always greet me with a smile when I walk in (except rob). I feel like I have improved my walking ability’s and fighting ability’s (to fight rob) and vista PT has helped me improve more! I think if I could recommend vista PT to anyone, I would because I would want them to experience this lovely place (not including rob) with the lovely help from the staff (except rob). I would like to call the staff superstars … but rob is apart of the staff. All jokes aside vista PT is amazing and they deserve all the 5 stars in the world!! (Except rob. He gets nothing)

Fantastic experience: My experience at Vista Physical Therapy, was amazing.! I worked with Sam and he did an awesome job helping me stand on my ankle and to walk properly again. He was very patient, understanding and took very great care of me throughout my entire recovery process. Vanessa and Melissa were also very nice and helpful in their own ways. If you have any injuries and are seeking physical therapy I would suggest coming here, I am able to go back to work because of them. Fantastic experience: I've been going to Vista Las Colinas (inside Medical City, Las Colinas hospital) for several months for a hip issue. Everyone there is always friendly, nice, and anxious to make sure I'm doing well (better!), and they go out of their way to make people feel at ease in what can, for many, be a stressful time. I have watched the care with which they treat seriously injured patients and have no reservation at all in recommending their services. My time there is now ended, but I will miss my time with them.

Fantastic experience: Professional and technical experts. The staff is knowledgeable and will help relieve pain. ShaRae is an expert in locating areas of pain and relieving the tension. She has created specialized treatments to help me in my recovery. There is also an app with videos to show you the stretches needed. The timer along with video is beneficial. Especially on days when you don’t have an appointment. The staff is friendly. I definitely recommend this physical therapy office for your health. They are located inside of the Las Colinas Medical Plaza 1. The office is equipped with all the machines needed for physical therapy. ShaRae has tailored a specific program to aid me in my recovery. I am happy with the pain management that I have received here and definitely recommend this office.

Fantastic experience: I’ve come here several times over the years for different injuries and surgery recoveries. Each time I’ve ended up in a much better spot than what I started, and it’s by far the best experience I’ve had with physical therapy after working with a few other providers in the past.

You expect that they understand the PT aspects of the job, but it comes with such personal caring that you actually want to be there. Ted Kern is the best there is for understanding (and explaining) the intricacies of exactly what hurts, why, and how to fix your problem. Challenge him with a persistent, decade-old problem and he’ll create the plan to fix you. He’s amazing, and I’d follow him if he ever left. If you gave up on PT like I did, find Ted. He puts everything into this.

Negative experience: I was in pain & therapy seemed to worsen it. When I asked the therapist about what should happen next, I was told through his frustration that I had to talk to the referring physician. He stated he had been sending reports weekly. I had thought the therapist was the one who would communicate findings to the referring physician. So, when I asked to speak to my physician I found no reports had been sent to my physician from the therapist. I was able to request the therapist’s notes for my physician only to find numerous discrepancies in the notes. I would not recommend Vista Physical Therapy because if No Reports are sent to your referring physician or if they are incorrect, how is that going to assist your recovery? Please obtain your medical records for yourself to ensure accuracy in reporting. I don’t know how Vista Physical Therapy continues when something as important as medical records are so mishandled.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Vista PT was exceptional. The staff was friendly and kind. Ted was great. He was able to take complex medial talk and break it down for me to full grasp what was happening in my shoulder. I would HIGHLY suggest anyone check them out if looking for a professional and friendly place to do PT. One more thing, the VA referred me to Vista PT. So, if you're a veteran and doing PT at a main VA medical facility is not a feasible option, talk to your provider about being referred!

Negative experience: I left without getting treatment. They did not verify my insurance unless I was here I drove all the way to hear to get to know I am out of network. Again map takes you to back of building where there is no parking sign it says your vehicle will be towed if you park here. They will rush you to fill the paper work and once you are here you have to wait regardless of you are early or late. Bottom line - parking is at front free for 2hours even though google map takes you to back of building. Ask them to verify the insurance once more before you make visit. Or be willing to pay out of network cost.

Fantastic experience: I had right knee surgery in December 2019 followed by shoulder surgery in February 2020. My orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Dold of Star Orthopedics prescribed physical therapy to rehab both knee and shoulder, and recommended Ted Kerr at Las Colinas Physical Therapy as being an excellent resource to continue my rehabilitation work. As a result, I have worked with Ted and his staff every day for the past several months, either for my knee or shoulder, and completely agree with the other reviews that Ted's knowledge of anatomy and rehabilitation is exceptional. I have very specific goals for restoring strength and flexibility to my shoulder especially since I compete in the sport of archery. Ted took this into account as he developed my individualized treatment programs for both joints. In addition, Ted recognized that other parts of the body needed to be addressed (such as core muscle development), and built some of this activity into my overall rehabilitation. Once flexibility and relative strength had been restored, Ted introduced me to a professional personal trainer to continue development of the strength and stability needed to compete in archery at the very highest level. Ted's the best!! I cannot recommend Ted Kerr enough to people who are serious about taking care of their bodies. Ted combines his knowledge of anatomy, physical therapy, athletic training, and psychology (for those of us who whine about the rigors of PT) to create a holistic approach to healing. If you are injured and need to rehabilitate, Ted's the man to see.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to take the time out and share this review. I recently moved in the Irving area and I have called several PT facilities but haven't been able to find one that I like. I called to inquire about becoming a new patient and the girls that I spoke with were very nice and very helpful. They went out of their way to help answer all of my questions that I had . I am looking forward to becoming a patient at this clinic.
