Positive experience: The medical practitioners at their disposal are amazing, genuinely the best and helped me phenomenally when I had a tendon fully torn off, they were capable of reattaching it. The only reason I would give a 3/5 is due to the incredible ineptitude of the US Anesthesia Partners billing department. Trying to call multiple times across the course of two weeks during their business hours and leaving multiple voicemails speaks to their incredible uselessness. While leaving voicemails never receiving a callback (despite leaving a contact number and name) I had continued to receive more mail and texts about the bill that was already covered. All in all the hospital is amazing but the billing department is a testament to the sheer stupidity a person is capable of.

Fantastic experience: Very good care, very professional. Dr. Westkaemper is the best hand specialist and takes the time to explain issues. I would recommend him and his staff to everyone. They were on time and didn't waste my time. Excellent care and service.

I had a fairly stressful situation around my injury and Laura was so caring and helpful in getting my appointment set up and insurance validated. Her kindness truly made my day! My visit with Dr Crawford was quick and informative and left me feeling confident in my treatment plan and recovery.

Negative experience: Dr. Murphy was the worst Doctor if you can call him that, I ever came across. If you have a workers comp case. Call it a night cause you will not be taken care of. Their doctor is working for the money not for the patients. I am trying to contact the director of his site and his colleagues, cause they are in cahoots with each other. I am sickened by the way they didn't treat my injuries.

Fantastic experience: AOA is really great place for all injuries. Service is fast and prompt. Ladies at check- in desk are so nice and friendly, make you feel as though you are one of the family so to speak.

Negative experience: Worse service. Messed up my first and last name in clinical records did not send my medication to pharmacy even after one week of visit. Unable to reach Dr adam Crawford nurse line and wait time is 24 hours for them to return call No one answered on nurse line had to take over the counter medication for pain whats the point of seeing doctor when pain killers or medication not received on time. If you missed the nurse call after 24 hours when you call back you have to wait again 24 hours. But DR adam Crawford is good and detailed with patients.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Crawford and the whole team at the hospital were wonderful. I came in with a fractured collarbone that had to have immediate surgery. I was able to be seen immediately, the nurses and entire staff were very sympathetic and gentle with me as we prepped for surgery. Dr. Crawford did an excellent job putting my shoulder back together. Not even a week after my surgery I was back in office performing small tasks. Now, 5 weeks out, I have zero pain, I have complete use and functionality of my arm and shoulder area. Cherry on top… my dermatologist looked at my incision last week at my yearly checkup and was extremely impressed that Dr. Crawford did some sort of fancy under the skin stitches that usually only plastic surgeons do. Dr. Crawford is the absolute best from start to finish with the entire treatment process. Highly recommend if you’re in need of a great ortho doc. Extra shout out to my anesthesiologist Dr. Boudreaux. I’ve always had a rough time with general anesthesia, but he made it a breeze and I felt fine after. Huge thanks to the whole team!

Negative experience: Thanks to “Dr.” Crawfords stand point on pain medicine, after establishing I was a disabled vet and id been resting my recent arm pain, had been to urgent care to get referral. Just like urgent care he offered me an anti-inflammatory steroid injection upon realizing i was not in need of surgery, which was evident thats he was looking for. He was 40 minutes late to an 8:45am appointment, in which he did not apologize and just began rambling. When telling him that i had been in pain for last 3.5 weeks and suffering, losing sleep, being irritable, affecting job performance.. he dismissed me and threw out the ‘Opioid Epidemic’ as the reason he wouldn’t help me get some relief. Dr. Crawfords lack of empathy and as a healthcare professional myself he broke his ‘Hippocratic Oath’ to do no harm. He is one of the many good example as to why the healthcare system in America is broke

Positive experience: I have been going to Dr. Roberts for many years now and he is a wonderful doctor! I am now 86 years old and have very active most of my life. My knees started to gibe out on me almost 10 years ago and I have been to Dr. Roberts many times and he always manages to get me going again! I opted to not have knee replacement because I was already in my golden years when the really started to give me trouble. After taking all the shots he could give me I thought it was over. However Dr. Roberts then suggested physical therapy and I laughed and thought it couldn't help me at my age! Boy was I wrong!! He sent me to their new physical place in Irving and I am one happy woman! I feel as if I have my legs back! No pain when I walk and no pain at all. Positive experience: They send a message saying my appointment at 2:30 but actually my appointment at 3:00 so it’s took me almost 3 hours to be done with my appointment and they lost my MIR image

Fantastic experience: I had both knees replaced a year apart and I feel more stable than I ever had. They feel like my own knees! I can do things I haven’t done in years! Dr Roberts and his staff make the dreaded knee replacement surgery absolutely worry free. Everyone in this office is amazing at their job and they’re very attentive to my needs. Thank you so much!!

Negative experience: So the doc asks me a number of questions that I had already answered previously in the electronic forms I filled out prior to my clinic visit. To me, that's a clear indicator that the doc paid little to no attention to what I had already completed in the forms. Not fun. And the doc seemed unaware of proper HIPAA procedures (or was ignoring them) as he openly spoke about a separate condition (that I have) and that I was not there to see him for: Talking about PHI with the door open or as I exited the exam room is not what I wanted to experience in a first visit ( or any visit!). What message does this send out about this practice? Also, this evening, I received an email notifying me about a visit summary posted to my AOA online portal only to find that there were no notes, details, or comments in any of the sections that should have been filled out by the provider. "None" is the only thing I read in different parts of the summary regarding my visit. Wow, do I feel valued as patient. No, I do not. The one upside is that they took x-rays and read them...?

Fantastic experience: I had one hip replacement with Dr. Robert 11 years ago. It was an excellent surgery. I started to walk few steps the afternoon after the morning operation. I started to do house chores with a walker as soon as I returned to home from the hospital. I returned to my job after 6 weeks. Now I can dance smoothly, walk few miles, bicycling, swim, and move freely with the replaced hip.

He's very polite, educational and has excellent bedside manners. I believe God has gifted him with the ability to cure and provide healing. All my surgeries, my husband's and Dad's surgical procedures were very successful and cleanly done. I recommend him to everyone I meet that is in pain and needs medical help.

May not be everyone's experience, but my appt was at 3:15, X-rays, shot chit chat about my issue and out the door and back at work in an hour! Fastest Dr appt I've ever had were I was the center of attention and my needs were heard! If you have a bum shoulder or a bad knee he should be considered for your needs!

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Murphy on 6/19 at his Irving office and the process was flawless! He ordered a MRI and I was told to schedule appointment with him ASAP for the results. The first available to get the results is 6/26 in Irving and I need the appointment sooner for results and Dr Murphy indicated that I need to be seen much sooner than 6/26. I really need help getting in to any office sooner. I would appreciate any help I can get. Thank you!

Negative experience: I had an appointment recently, upon my arrival the front desk and nurse were very nice. When I was in the room with the doctor. He was very Loud and didn't allow me to barely talk . Talking over me and not allowing me to say much. He didn't ask to see any of my paperwork . On my previous visits he wrote the wrong information witch cause my case to take longer to receive treatment. I personally felt like a number instead of a patient. I truly wish I could see another doctor in the practice.

Dr. Crawford is personable, kind and works hard to make sure he has answered all my questions. He explains things thoroughly and in a way that is easy to understand. I especially appreciate the hand written notes he gives me to take home so I can follow his instructions for follow up care with no problem. He did knee replacement surgery on both of my knees and fixed a hammer toe and then I found out he could take care of the carpal tunnel in my hand so I’m going back for one more surgery. Would not dream of letting anyone else operate on me what a wonderful experience I had. His staff as is great. I’m convinced that if Humpty Dumpty would’ve had Dr. Crawford, he could’ve put him back together again!

Negative experience: Worse experience ever, I was left standing in an injured knee while the MA spoke with another patient for several minutes, my daughter and I were left to wander the hall to figure out how to get to my room. I was only then offered a wheelchair after my daughter commented that I should not stand on my injured knee. The doctor came in for less than five minutes then darted off to another patient while waiting for the alMA to bring my injection. I waited while he attended to a second patients, and instead of discharging the second patient and returning to my room I was left waiting for an additional 5-10 minutes, only to have the doctor hurriedly give me an injection and disappear again, I wasn't given any after care instructions, the MA wheeled me back to the waiting room and parked me in the middle of the aisle in the path of patient traffic, at which time I had to shuffle my feet to find a place where I would not block patients from coming in and out. My experience made me feel as if I was in a busy emergency room where the method of care was a "treat & street". I would rather treat myself than return to this revolving door triple booked practice's

Negative experience: I have had an horrible experience at this clinic. I have a $200 bill for a 5 minute visit. I called they said it was due to the doctor (dr Robert's) going over my MRI results when the specific charges are for a x-ray i didn't have completed. No help in resolving the issue or explaining, woman i talked to was rude and made it seem like it was an inconvenience for me to be asking questions about something i have to pay for. Wish i could leave 0 stars. I'll deal with knee painful forever before i ever return to this office and they won't get no money from me

Fantastic experience: Dr. Roberts, Taylor and his entire team have done an amazing job! I received a total knee replacement on 10/2/23. It was an absolute success! I feel better than ever and the pain is gone! If you are considering surgery, do it!! You will not regret it. Follow all the doctor's orders from surgery, recovery and therapy for complete success!

Negative experience: Disappointing Experience at Dr. Atkinson's Office I recently had an appointment with Dr. Atkinson scheduled for 2:30. Despite arriving promptly at 2:15 and checking in efficiently, my concerns arose when, by 3:10, I realized all patients around me had been attended to except for myself. Upon inquiry, I was informed of a delay, initially attributed to the doctor running slightly behind schedule. Regrettably, further waiting revealed a substantial delay, with an additional 45-minute wait estimated. I expressed my frustration, emphasizing that communication about the extended delay during check-in would have been appreciated. The staff cited an unforeseen lengthy patient visit as the cause. While I understand that unexpected delays can occur, the lack of proactive communication and transparency demonstrated by the staff was unprofessional. Consequently, I chose to cancel my appointment due to a diminishing trust in the office's scheduling reliability. I hope this feedback prompts improvements in managing patient expectations.

Negative experience: The worst service I have ever seen. My husband had a surgery recently and after the surgery they don’t care of the things also they sent a huge bill though we paid off at the surgery, with no proper explanation. Tried calling them for the detailed summery and the response was pathetic. These people are the kind of scammers. Doctor was good though.

Negative experience: About 10 years later after my surgery with Dr. R Mills Roberts, I have very severe knee issues that are only progressing. I am only 25 and I am going to be limited for the rest of my life. Do not go to this facility or seek treatment here. My knee was absolutely destroyed and will need a knee replacement soon. I had other surgeons do scans and MRI’s and they have openly said he did a poor job and that I would have issues later on.

Positive experience: A specialist here was able to see me quickly for a second opinion, which is why they became my go-to office this one time. My experience was good medically but quite substandard administratively. As a cash payer, I normally receive a lower price than insurance payers (who require the support of a billing department and resulting delayed payment as well as possible non-payment write-offs.) This company chose to price the cash payer 3X higher than the Blue Cross negotiated price for the service received. There is no business justification for that and for that reason I rate them as a 3-star location.

Fantastic experience: I visited AOA today for the first time. Dr Crawford took care of me. Since I walked in everything was perfect. Check in, nurses. Dr explained everything to me. I felt very comfortable. I can’t wait for my next visit.

Negative experience: Initially, I was excited to try this location considering the reviews. It's important that I immediately address the conversation I had with Monica G, who has to be one of the most inconsiderate and rude health care workers I have ever encountered. I called to follow up on my xray results because I figured it would take a while considering the doctor and I did not have a chance to discuss them in my appt. When I explained to Monica, she told me that the doctor did in fact discuss the results as if she was in the room with me. Taken back at her response I asked if she was in my appointment with me? She said no but "normally" the doctor would. She asked if I wanted to schedule a time to come back to discuss the results, so in essence, create another bill for a discussion I was supposed to have during my appointment. When I expressed this, she cut me off and said "ma'am what do you want me to do about it?" I explained to her that my knee was on fire and when someone is in pain they don't expect to speak to careless medical workers. I asked to speak to a manager, she then transferred me to Josh's I believe is his name, voicemail. I called back and she weirdly started talking as if I was yelling and being rude so I assume someone was standing behind her so it was an attempt to cover her self. I told her she should have considered a different profession because I'm appalled that you all hired her. Nevertheless, Josh made up for it all, he was amazing. He was patient, kind and understanding. He took the time to explain why I may not have seen an xray during my visit, and promised resolve within his ability. Although he is the office manager he is the epitome of everything you would expect at a medical facility when caring for patients. Monica G (would not provide her last name) is unbelievable.
