Experiencia negativa: The physical therapists are incredibly overbooked, leaving you after the first 10-15 minutes for ‘the assistant’ to continue. This would be fine, but in one visit, had three different assistants come by to ‘see how you’re doing’. No one knew what I was supposed to be doing or making sure I was doing it right. I spent too much time sitting in the treatment room just waiting. Was actually sent there for aquatic (neck) therapy, but was told pool wasn’t deep enough (pool is 6’, I’m 5’2). Not sure how deep it would need to be? Also, be careful of the electrical stimulation and heat; placed on neck by assistant, left with a nasty skin burn in the shape of one of the pads. I’ve been to PT for years for fractured spine and fixation surgeries — Therafit needs to switch the focus to quality of care, not how many patients you can squeeze in for the money.

Erica is very pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. She treats me in the pool and answers my many detailed qstns. Danielle is the therapist who evaluates me on land and is also pleasant and very knowledgeable. Going to Therafit is like visiting with family. They are all down to earth people. I am a detailed person with many qstns as I want to improve my physical abilities and they answer all my qstns. The office staff, the other Danielle and Sarah and others are very accommodating. They all are. Don't be shy, give it a try.

The day of my appointment, I get a call 30 minutes before the appointment saying they made a mistake and they will have to cancel my appointment. Then they said the next available appointment is a month later. You should not be waiting last minute to tell someone that you messed up. I have been in pain and now I have to wait another month.

Experiencia fantástica: I had Danielle for my physical therapy post hip replacement. She did some creative problem-solving to relieve pain that I’ve had for almost 3 years in my quad. Her hands on manipulation , as well as the program she designed for me, helped relieve pain, and strengthen my hip, glutes and core muscles. I have Ehlers Danlos syndrome and have seen many physical therapists for injuries over the years. Danielle is among the best therapists I have worked with. Additionally, I was aware of other PT’s treating patients while I was there. They are all professional, thoughtful, and caring individuals. Although I had wonderful results with Danielle, I can highly recommend any of the staff at this facility!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been to TheraFit at least 3x for different injuries. Danielle helped me with a pinch nerve and shoulder mobility a few years ago. My experience was so great I came back and worked with Dan for vertigo and more recently for a knee injury on “land” with Dan and with Erica in the pool. Every time I felt they truly listened to what bothered me and made the treatment plan based on my actual ailments and recovery goals. As much as I’d like to avoid coming here in general, I’m glad I found a place I have had success with and helps me to avoid surgery.

Experiencia fantástica: This was my second time going to PT, first time here, and this blew my first experience out of the water. I had been dealing with daily back pain and headaches for a couple years, and PT didn’t help much in the past. But, after working with Steph and graduating today my headaches have disappeared and no more back pain. Huge results. They educated me so well on everything that was going on so I had an understanding of my condition and how to get better. Steph was so kind and knowledgeable and I looked forward to going every time. I also saw Dan a few times when I needed to reschedule and for dry needling. He is amazing as well. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Dry needling was a great experience and helped give me a lot of relief. All the other staff were very friendly and welcoming as well. The transition out of therapy was very smooth too and not pressured, was offered to continue to schedule if I wanted to, and was shown all the exercises to continue doing on my own. I am confident that I am ready to graduate and it’s amazing looking back on my progress. Best PT place that I have experienced and if I do have another injury, I will be back to this place no doubt. Thank you Steph and Dan for everything and rest of therafit staff, you were amazing! I’m finally back to normal, if not better than I was before my injury!

Experiencia fantástica: Stephanie gave me my life back. I’m not exaggerating. I’ve been living with pain for so long I didn’t think I would ever get better. Stephanie helped me prepare for a difficult surgery and helped me through the recovery. I have never had a physical therapist who is so detailed in her explanation of body mechanics. She is able to pinpoint exactly what movements I am doing that worsen my pain, and provides corrections that lessen it. She is patient, thorough, and listens carefully to my concerns. Therafit is also the only PT office I’ve encountered that has a pool and offers aquatic therapy. It’s low impact and allows for a greater range of motion and tolerance for workouts than on land. It made a huge impact on my recovery. I can’t recommend Therafit enough to anyone who needs physical therapy.

Experiencia fantástica: I spent the last three months coming to Therafit. This is the third physical therapy clinic I've been to in the last three years and by far my favorite. I would recommend this clinic to my family and friends. The first time I walked into the office, I noticed the front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. I was really impressed with all of the equipment and space available for patients. There are a lot of treatment rooms and the open gym is not cramped at all. One of the most exciting parts of the clinic is the heated pool where some patients do their exercises. Many of the therapists are also dry needling certified- the only other therapists that I have personally met with this certification were outside of New England. All of the physical therapists are fantastic but Danielle went above and beyond for me. She is very knowledgeable with ten years of experience as a PT. I am the type of person that asks a lot of questions and she answered ALL of them. It is clear that she sees a lot of patients in her day but she was never too busy to give me the time that I needed. One of the many things she helped me with was my jaw pain. I've had a chronic TMJ disorder for the past 10 years and seen chiropractors, dentists, and osteopaths. She dry needled my jaw and I immediately saw an improvement in my ability to open and close my mouth. -> Going forward I know that if I need the help of a PT, I can count on Danielle!

Experiencia fantástica: My wife and I have been clients of Therafit for over three years. We were drawn to them because of recommendations our dear friends of 50 years gave us. The trainers we’ve worked with there have been super and they’ve helped us achieve the improved balance and core strength we were looking for. My regimen necessarily changed in December when I had a full hip replacement. Because of that I began working with a physical therapist who’s been employed there for over 10 years. Her name is Danielle Philipp and she has been wonderful to work with. She’s helped me with my return to walking, my balance, and my lower body strength. She’s always pleasant and always punctual and prepared. She comes to each session with an improved plan that builds upon our previous one and that challenges me so I’m always moving forward. Once I moved out to gym exercise s it was difficult at first but the physical therapists and their assistants helped me every step of the way. Therapist is a great place to go. Experiencia fantástica: I have constant pain in my shoulder for the last 20 years. I have had 3 shoulder surgeries and been to physical therapy, acupuncture, yoga and a chiropractor in addition to doing my only work in the gym doing my PT exercises over this period of time. But, I have not been able to gain much in the way of pain relief or range of motion. A family member recommended I try dry needling. I made an appointment with Courtney at Therafit. I am happy to say that it is having a meaningful and positive impact on my quality of life! Simple things like reaching for something above shoulder height or trying to reach behind by back were difficult and painful. Sleeping was worse. During my visits, Courtnery manipulates the shoulder area looking for knots and painful areas. She inserts the needles and starts the treatment. After each session, the identified area of pain was gone. Between visits, I could see improvement in range of motion, pain relief and improvements in sleeping. Over the course of a number of visits, she was able to address several different pain areas in the muscle and tendons. She expertly diagnosed problem areas and went after them. Right now, there is no pain reaching above shoulder height, I can reach behind my back much better and I am sleeping much better. It has been 2 months now and I am maintaining and still gradually increasing my range of motion. I am so excited about this treatment. It has significantly improved my quality of life! I want to thank Courtney for her skillful use of this treatment to unwind 20 years of trauma and pain! I could not be happier with these treatments and would recommend this to anyone feeling like they are stuck with muscle and joint pain!

Experiencia fantástica: If I could give TheraFit and my therapist Dan 10 stars, I would! I've just finished a course of PT to help in recovery from major lumbar spine surgery. Dan is kind, encouraging and most importantly knows his stuff! He made sure I understood how to do the exercises correctly. I've progressed from having no balance and walking with the aide of a cane to having normal balance and walking independently. I travel twice a week from Central Massachusetts to get to TheraFit, and it's worth the time spent and gas expense to get my strength and stamina back. Experiencia fantástica: Over the last 5 years, I have had multiple opportunities to work with the employees of Therafit, and I highly recommend their services to friends, colleagues, and professionals that I work with. In fact, I cannot recommend them enough. I am highly impressed how well everyone works together as a team. Furthermore, I have been included as part of the team in working with my own therapies. While many therapies are similar according to presenting problems, the team is quick to modify the treatment plan as needed to make it a plan based on my own personal needs, therefore, increasing my success. The professionalism of all the staff is outstanding, and staff work to assist you with all aspects of your appointments from billing to scheduling, to being flexible with conflicting doctor appointments, etc. Whether you are working with a specific PT or not, they all have your back while you are there and it makes it a very safe space to work in. I have had the pleasure of working with Courtney, Ericka, and most recently, Dan and Stephanie. I have been able to ask Danielle questions when needed, as well as being able to be involved with many lively discussions across therapists and patients. This helps to increase emotional healing along with the physical work. I have also had the pleasure of working with Bruce and Kevin. Finally, I really like that students are able to work along side the Physical Therapists. Since I have been going as a patient, having the students really helps to keep the techniques and modalities up to date and is very interesting to learn more about your own therapy. In closing, I am forever grateful to Therafit for the exceptional help they have given to me, and for the wonderful caring people that they are.

I've seen Danielle (land PT) and Erica (aqua PT) 3x in the past couple of years to address issues pertaining to my connective tissue disorder (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome) and they are both incredibly kind, supportive and knowledgeable about the body and EDS specifically. I always feel 100% cared for, listened to and supported whenever I leave the office. I highly recommend TheraFit for all your PT needs, but especially if you're looking for a low-impact option for the whole body (the pool!). I've also done personal training with Veronica in the pool, which has been a great way to transition out of PT and into my independent program.

Experiencia fantástica: This is my sixth trip there since 2016 for various postop rehab. The staff has been excellent from the beginning. I have a very difficult schedule and a short window to make appointments but like always fair if it was very accommodating and able to book me based around my time not their time. Danielle Dave and Courtney were fabulous as always and put me back together after my second shoulder reconstruction in five years. Can’t recommend them enough.

Experiencia fantástica: I've had back pain for years but after physical therapy with Courtney I have had tremendous improvement and go many days completely pain free. Courtney is the absolute BEST, she has helped me more than I could have hoped for! She set me up with exercises to do at home that are easy to do but extremely beneficial in maintaining my progress.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff there is very friendly and encouraging. I rehabbed at Therafit after 2 different surgeries. Both times they were fantastic. The pool therapy is amazing, and Erica the aqua-therapist is great! Danielle worked with me in the gym and was equally great in helping me strengthen and regain motion after my last surgery. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

Experiencia fantástica: TheraFit is a phenomenal choice for PT. I looked extensively for an aqua-therapy option that accepted my (out-of-state) insurance plan and finally landed at TheraFit. All of the staff are pleasant and accommodating, and my therapist Courtney was top-notch. She is extremely knowledgeable and is always energetic and encouraging. Erica in the pool was also wonderful. I highly recommend TheraFit for all of your PT needs.
