Experiencia fantástica: My PT has given me solid exercises to do that have allowed me to resume certain activities at work, and reduced pain and inflammation. Her instructions have been clear, and she checks in with me to make sure I understand. I’m so happy to be getting Pt from the sports medicine rehab department.

Experiencia fantástica: I had the privilege of being evaluated for chronic shoulder pain, in PT, by Kirk Schulz. Kirk was five star in all aspects of care. Kirk was very knowledgeable, personable and courteous. He completed a very thorough physical exam of my shoulders, providing helpful medical insights throughout the course of my visit. He developed a plan of action and patiently reviewed home exercises with me, answering all my questions. He really knows his stuff, and I’m so happy that I’ll be working with him in the future

They take time to assess and listen to understand the whole picture. I've benefited from their suggestions and treatment plan each time. Thank you for getting me back in the game!

Experiencia fantástica: John Kipp was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He gave consistently good direction and feedback as I recovered from rotator cuff surgery. With his instruction and support enabled me to speed my recovery along, despite my occasional 'over-doing it'. I highly recommend John. I still have more work to do, but after 5 months, I feel that I can finish my recovery with the routines he has prescribed.

Experiencia fantástica: So thankful for the quality of care I have received during my hip replacement journey from sports med (Dr Bernhardt and staff), UW Orthopedics (Dr Illgen and staff), UW surgical staff, the absolutely AMAZING nurses and CNAs on the fourth floor for my post surgery stay and Joe Tupta (PT). They all have/had provided respectful and professional care! Absolutely the best.

Had it not been for their patience, their knowledge, they're training and understanding of what they were doing. I would not be doing half as good as I do today. I thank the both of them from the bottom of my heart. Each one has a different speciality that they deal with, Elizabeth T. Does pelvic therapy and Michael p does ankle and back therapy? Both therapies have helped me tremendously. I appreciate you, guys and thank you so much.Contiue to keep up the good work

Experiencia negativa: My mother suffered a femur fracture and has received extremely poor care and attention at UW East PT. Even the Doctor was PISSED when he found out the level of care she has NOT been receiving. I have unfortunately experienced two femur fractures in my life and the level of attention this facility has provided my mother, they should be absolutely ashamed to call themselves a PT facility! One day a week visit with a paper handout to complete her rehab on her own is unacceptable. Let me re-iterate the one day of PT is mostly discussion and leaving her on her own to complete exercises with said paper handout. This has been on-going since day one post-op. My fractures occurred in both Oregon and Europe and both events I received extreme care, attention, and evaluations as I progressed through the healing process. My rehab and care continued on for 4-5 months post op. One of my fractures is almost identical to the one she recently experienced. My mother has received no evaluation on her strength or flexion or comparison between her good leg and injured leg. How do they receive this many good reviews!? Absolutely angered and frustrated at this level of disregard for a patient with this degree of injury!!!

They've all asked how my back or neck or hip problem affects my daily activities, what I thought about the plans of care and whether or not I understood how to do the at-home exercises. I have improved with visits to PT. I have professsionally worked with many medical providers who put full trust in what physical therapists know and can accomplish with patients.
