I was non-weight-bearing for months, wheelchair bound, 2 surgeries and now I’m learning to walk again. I’ve had inpatient PT, home PT, and now outpatient PT — and hands down, COLLIN is the BEST PT I’ve ever worked with! He pushes me hard, explains why each exercise matters, and keeps me motivated every single session. If you ever need physical therapy, go to BSW Outpatient PT McKinney and ask for Collin Pagel. Experiencia fantástica: Mckenzie Kidwell did an amazing job fixing my BPPV. She is a PT therapist at BSW Therapy Center. I had issues with BPPV for over a month. I described my journey trying to fix it myself. She listened intently, performed the diagnosis and treated me in 30 minutes. It worked brilliantly. It was easy to set the appointment. they saw me promptly and fixed my problem in one visit. Highly recommend Mckenzie and the BSW team in Lake Forest!! A+

He was incredibly thorough, kind, and professional throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain each part of the evaluation clearly, and his instructions for the exercises were easy to follow and very well thought out. I especially appreciated that he explained the purpose behind each exercise—it gave me confidence and motivation to follow through. Every day I follow Neo’s previous instructions and printed sheets of strengthening exercises to prepare me for my surgery. I know I will go into my surgery feeling strong and physically prepared. I also know that my OT sessions following the surgery will allow me to resume my physical activities as soon as possible.

Experiencia fantástica: I have back pain for more than 10 years. I met Dr. Mark three weeks ago. He designed a very detailed plan for my treatment and home exercise program. Last week, I made a road trip with my family for almost 4,000 miles and got no back pian at all. Thank you very much.

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter had Collin as her physical therapist and from start to finish he was exceptional. He was fun and relatable. His passion for what he does is evident! Wonderful experience and couldn't have asked for better! 10/10 recommend

Experiencia negativa: I went here for one PT appointment. The therapist was great, but the admin and billing are terrible. They charged me even though my insurance covered the full cost of the appointment. I tried to request a refund by calling multiple times, and all they told me was it would be issued 60 days after my discharge date. 60 days passed no refund, so I called the office again. The lady was rude said I should have been calling billing even though the other three times I called the office no one mentioned that or gave me a number to call. After she gave me the number, she hung up without a goodbye. When I called billing, they told me it would be another 6-8 weeks for a check to arrive. When I've overpaid in the past with other healthcare providers they have readily supplied the refund upon request back to my card. The therapy was not worth the terrible customer service or shady billing practices.

Experiencia fantástica: I have the absolute best Therapist that I’ve ever had. Bad car wreck for me 12 years ago. Broken back. Both hips broken. I have had many surgeries and a lot of Therapy. Barrett Mark is so educated and experienced above and beyond anyone I’ve run into before. I’m 5 sessions into a complete 24. I’m currently healing from a 7 fusion low lumbar surgery. I’m already feeling a lot better and can’t wait to have more sessions.

Experiencia negativa: Very shady billing practices. You will be quoted one number and charged much higher with no explanation or warning. They either need to have better employees doing the initial checks and estimates or get your approval before adding services without consent (that can add $100+ to your bill). If you go here, know that your already high estimate will go higher. The doctors are great, so if money is no object, go here. But if it is, go elsewhere.

She was excellent in communicating her instructions and gave me many suggestions for exercises to do at home; she also modified them to fit particular problems I had. I made progress with Carylea's program.

Experiencia fantástica: It helped that I’ve a friend who had used this location earlier and been pleased with her results here. So far I’ve worked with 2 therapists and both have been friendly and open with their feedback, as well as any comments or questions I’ve had. The exercises are challenging me in the areas where I’ve had concern (balance and stamina) and they have varied them to make them a little more challenging each visit. Today I asked if they could set up a routine for me that would incorporate gym equipment, as I think that would help keep me motivated and going to the gym better once PT ends. Paige was very open to that suggestion, which I appreciate.

Experiencia fantástica: Paula McKenzie was awesome. I looked forward to seeing her week after week for pelvic floor therapy. She helped me gain confidence postpartum. My baby had injured my tail bone on his way out preventing me from being able to sit, bent over, stand for extended periods, or run. Now I'm able to jog after a month and a half of therapy which is huge to me. She also pointed out additional issues like misaligned pelvis that were causing nagging pain. It was great to have her as my accountability partner. Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: I was diagnosed with cancer in my left leg on 3/1/23. Since being diagnosed, everything for me has been a series of rollercoasters as far as emotions, pain, and physical capabilities. A week prior to my first PT appointment with Mirian Romero my left leg was severely swollen, practically unusable and in the most intense pain I’ve ever felt. I had to have help putting on socks, pants, showering, getting to the bathroom and even getting in and out of cars and chairs which for a 22yr old is very uncommon. One week today from my first PT appointment and I can use my leg again! I haven’t had any other cancer treatments yet so far except for PT and I have now gained back use of my leg, have little to no pain and hardly any swelling! Mirian is so patient, compassionate and willing to help! I love having her as my PT so much and I know with her help my family and I will get through this stronger than ever! She truly is a blessing from God.

I really enjoy his personality and the conversations we have there is never a dull moment, which yes I know is shocking considering its physical therapy. He also shows his concern in our healing process and making sure we don't overdue ourselves, but continues to push us further than imaginable.

Honestly, it isn't pain free! Jordan works with me, helps me and encourages me. He really makes PT less painful and brings the fun to PT. Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic team. Both Aaron and Courtney have helped me with my therapy and they were great. Both were attentive, professional but also not afraid to be personable and help you with your therapy. I always felt they genuinely cared about my condition and were not just taking me through a process. They were also very knowledgeable and were able to explain things in simple terms. I always appreciated being told why we were working on a particular area and not just told to do an exercise. As I work d through my exercises I looked around and saw similar connections being made between therapist and client. The team here really cares about the person.

Experiencia fantástica: In my many years of working I developed a pretty good eye for the sort of people whose presence elevates whatever enterprise employs them, who consistently bring the best that is in them to work each day. In making my first ever brush with OT an almost fun part of my day (not to mention the progress we are making) Alan deserves the highest marks on that score. I may be retired now, but I still enjoy seeing people like him doing good by enthusiastically doing what they have made themselves good at doing.

Experiencia fantástica: I chose BSW Rehab for the rehab of a full right hip replacement. Initial screening of rehab facilities indicated that this office had high marks and good reviews. I am near the end of about 3 months of rehab. I was lucky enough to get the manager of the department, Anna Wenger, as my therapist. She is nothing short of amazing. Don't get me wrong, she was not afraid to push me. I often told her, that one shouldn't let her smile disarm you .... but she is very good!! However, and equally as important, she has developed a strong team. I have observed and believe they are well trained and like their jobs. All of the therapists and support staff are there to help you, no matter the condition as you walk, limp, or get wheeled in the door. Sort of like a no stigma zone. They are there to help and they are very good at their jobs. I would recommend this team and their services, without reservation!

Experiencia fantástica: I love this place. Everyone is so friendly, from the front desk to the therapists and OT. I personally have Jennifer Zmeskal, who is the OT for wrists and shoulders. I broke my wrist in two spots on my dominant hand. She’s so knowledgeable and listens to you. Pushes you, without overdoing it. I would absolutely recommend her and this place to anyone. When I’m doing certain tasks, I’m able to look around and all the Pts and OTs seem to enjoy their work and truly care about their clients. Can’t say enough! Have been here multiple times for different reasons, throughout the years, and it’s always like this. I know I’m in the best of care, especially with Jennifer, and that I will have full use of my hand when we are done.

My physical therapist Kelly both challenged and encouraged me. She asked good questions at the beginning and developed a good therapy plan. She also pulled in Anna to do some vestibular testing and subsequent therapy to address inner ear and balance issues. I can truly say I have gained much more confidence and feel ready to be move without a fear of falling. They are awesome. The facility is super clean with good equipment. It is an overall positive environment.

They made me feel at home and were very accommodating. We had some laughs which definitely lightened the mood and helped me so much. It was a true delight to be treated like family and taken care of, they went above and beyond. Baylor McKinney is my -#1 Hospital of choice. I highly recommend them and the amazing people that work there.

Experiencia fantástica: Anna Blackman has been my P/T for a month. I signed up for therapy with great trepidation after having had two really bad experiences prior to this surgery. But Anna has been very helpful and nothing but kind. My knee is much better due to her experienced care and the fact that she really listens to understand how she can help. I recommend her highly. Also of note are the organizational skills of the office workers who make signing in absolutely painless. Notices go out for each appointment so you can’t forget when to come. And it’s a happy place; everyone seems to get along and they all help each other. This is the first time I’ve actually enjoyed therapy!
