Experiencia fantástica: Following a hip replacement and fall just after surgery, while still in the hospital, I was wary of using a BSW facility for my rehab. The folks at this location quickly dispelled my fears. Kim and Leslie up front were wonderful, Rashida my PRN, listened to my concerns and adjusted my care plan taking into account the challenges caused by my faĺl, and Caitlin my therapist is fast becoming a good friend. I'm truly blessed to have chosen this location for my months of work to rehab my hip.

Experiencia fantástica: The team here provides excellent therapy! After a bad fall, Dr. Thakkar helped me improve my hip mobility, and leg and core strength. On each visit, she listened to how I was doing, then worked with me to help me grow stronger. She was encouraging when it was hard, and compassionate when I struggled. She gave me exercises to do at home, and the app helped me remember how to do them. All the staff here was friendly and helpful. I will come back if needed, but I hope I don’t need to!

Experiencia fantástica: I’m working on improving the range of motion in my arthritic hip. The first month has been successful in this regard. Avani Bhatt has remade me aware of what can do at home as well as putting me through a regimen on body strengthening. I looking forward to this 2nd month of care as I learn how to best perform these exercises.

Experiencia fantástica: Required physical Therapy for my left shoulder and was referred to this Baylor Scott and White Rehabilitation location by my primary care doctor. I cannot yet discuss what the outcome may be for sure since I just began treatment. However, my impression at this time is that of complete confidence that the staff here will be able to help me tremendously! They instantly diagnosed my needs and began a very detailed physical therapy regimen that has begun to help me from day one! The staff is absolutely awesome and I’m extremely confident that they are the best of the best! I am looking forward to being able to help tons of praise on them when my rehab has been completed, and I have no doubt that they are going to fully deserve it! More to follow!!

Experiencia fantástica: After recent knee surgery, I started PT with James at BS & W Outpatient Rehabilitation. James is a fun, energetic PT who is a wealth of knowledge and teaches as the hour progresses. No two days are alike. While there are a couple of anchor exercises James uses with me, each day mixes it up to get the greatest gains, push me a bit and to have some fun. If I ever need PT again, I will return and I will specifically ask for James, PT.

The physical therapists there are professional, knowledgeable and attentive, all of whom helped me to be successful in regaining my mobility! Experiencia fantástica: I was referred specifically to James Armentrout by my Dallas-area orthopedic (hip) doctor who had worked with Jimmy in the past. As the PT got underway, Jimmy was able to deduce that my hip problem was much different than what I originally thought. I was so impressed with the PT treatment and the results that I called my other orthopedic surgeon (elbow) and asked for a referral to have Jimmy treat my post-surgical elbow area since the previous PT I had didn’t resolve the pain. Again, I was impressed with the PT treatment and results, so I called my orthopedic surgeon to request another referral. This third referral was for my shoulder. A year prior, I had an injury in my backyard that left an impingement in my right shoulder. My doctor sent me to PT at the time. After 8 weeks, I felt much stronger but the impingement was still there. Since PT didn’t work, I tried several Rolfing sessions in hopes that it would make a difference. Again, it felt better but the impingement didn’t go away. On my next visit to the surgeon, he asked if I was ready to schedule surgery. I explained about the success I’d been having with hip and elbow PT and asked if he could write me another referral for my shoulder so I could give Jimmy a chance to work his magic. I am very happy to say that Jimmy ALSO fixed my shoulder and now I am no longer in need of shoulder surgery. As a first-time grandma of a very active 2yo boy, I called my treatment the Grandma-Makeover because it has literally given me a new way of life. Now that I can walk without pain and lift without pain - I have been able to spend time in the gym and even compete in my first 5K run at Halloween. And after a day with my grandson, it feels great now that I no longer feel the need to pull out the ice pack/heating pad/pain relief patches/pain meds!

Experiencia fantástica: My Dr. referred me to physical therapy. I went there,I received a beautiful and happy welcome. I filled out my forms with good and understandable explanation. I took my sit and not long comes my therapist. With the greetings .I felt welcome,relaxed and all my anxiety was gone .she took me in,she asked questions and explained my condition to me what is going to happen ,how she is going to go about the treatment and the end results. We did some exercise, and spoke about the next course of actions. I felt good,I felt happy, and I felt well even though I am a beginner. I will continue my therapy and I am very sure that all will be well because the minute I stepped in to the center. I just knew this is a good place and they proved me right. They are phenomenal.

Can’t say enough good things, I had an l4-l5 fusion, current bulging disc, neck issues, and a knee surgery. Thanks to the physical therapist’s plan, I have not been able to move my body like this in years. The office is further out than I usually travel but with these results it’s worth the extra time driving.

He has helped me with all my aches and pains!!. Also, the other PT's always give a friendly greeting when you walk in, as does the front desk staff. The location is always clean, and the therapy equipment is wiped down after each use. I would highly recommend this location and these PT's.

Experiencia fantástica: I had headaches since January 2018 and went to the Dr. to find out why. Through ex-ray and MRI I was found to have polyps in my nose and a disk in my neck spine that had degenerated to the point that it needed to be fixed. Surgery was done on both problems but neither relieved the headache. After the spine surgery I still had the headache along with other pain in my neck and head and had difficulty swallowing. I started therapy at Baylor with James Armentrout. In the first visit James used the suction cups on my neck and I was able to swallow normally again and the pain in my head started to subside. Over the last couple of months I have been able to turn my head from side to side with minimal pain and have started driving again. I am very grateful to James and the others at the center for helping me heal. They all work together to help the patients to recover. Thank you all for your help.

She is thorough and truly concerned for her patients. Their new location@5220 W. University in Professional Bldg. II is located on the first floor as you enter the doors, swing to the right. They are efficient and timely. We are so pleased with Dr. Chappelle and Baylor.

To say the staff are friendly is not good enough they are just amazing, welcoming and really take your PT seriously. They are not just interested in seeing how many patients they can see in one day, they truly care about you getting better and feeling better. I just cannot say enough about Heather my PT she is amazing, but I see the other therapist and patients and I think most would feel the same as I do, that all the therapist are great. Even the office staff are so sweet, work with you to get the appointment time you need and professional and personal at the same time. Love the whole place, will be my go to for all mine and my family PT needs.

Experiencia fantástica: By far the best physical therapy place in the metroplex. Jimmy is knowledgeable and very thorough with his treatments and evaluations. His assessments are more detailed than a physician. He listens to your feedback/concerns from previous treatment then does assessment and treats accordingly. You are monitored, encouraged, and educated regarding your therapy. I’ve had back issues since beginning of the year and went for extensive PT at another place in McKinney before I had to have surgery. I truly and genuinely believe if I had known about him and this place, I wouldn’t have needed surgery! Really impressive range of therapy treatments such as cupping, dry needle treatments, joint manipulation are few that they do. My son is getting PT for his ankle and have noticed a huge difference in his gait with just one treatment from Jimmy! Can’t praise Jimmy and his team enough. Highly recommend him and this place before deciding any surgical options and post-op, this place will do wonders!

I was pleased with the ease of working with the staff, the attention to my specific needs, and the hands on care I received from the clinic. From the front office staff to the clinicians, they made it easy to schedule the appointments I needed, worked my new knee to regain my mobility, and handled the insurance claims. I returned for another round of therapy following recent spine surgery because of the level of care I received previously. The office is easy to find with ample parking and a wheelchair ramp and railings for ease of access.

Experiencia fantástica: The hand on therapy is making all the difference! I tried another location before coming here without any success as they only watched me do exercises I could just do at home. Baylor is not like that, they work with you to achieve the stretching and movement I needs to get better. It is not overnight, but day by day I am getting better I can not recommend this location more than 5 stars or I would.

Experiencia fantástica: I am a 2x breast cancer survivor and doing PT at BSW Rehab in McKinney to regain range of motion since my mastectomy/reconstruction. I was reluctant at first but it has been amazing - I’ve made progress since day 1. Heather LaFort is knowledgeable, compassionate and very personable and has special training/experience dealing with breast cancer patients. And while I don’t have personal experience with the other PTs there, the rapport and atmosphere of the entire staff makes it a pleasant experience.
