Experiencia negativa: Do not go here! I had to cancel my appointment the day of because my car was not starting and I called as soon as this happened, which was an hour before the appointment. I spoke with India on the phone who said a cancellation fee would be charged usually but considering the circumstances were out of control she would speak with her manager. I asked to be called back once she heard back and heard nothing all day and had to call Friday and left a voicemail since I never got a call back. I got a call back today finally and spoke with her again and she said that in fact they were charging the $40 fee because I was made aware of needing to give 24 hour notice for cancellations on my first visit. Sorry, but cars don’t give you 24 hours notice when they break down!! Aside from the fact that fee is ridiculous, my copay is $15. Which, by the way, I’ve met my deductible and spoke to my insurance plan and confirmed I should NOT be getting charged a copay anymore, yet when I asked them to confirm; they reiterated that I still needed to pay it, so they are clearly trying to double dip and overcharge customers. Money hungry all around. When I told India to cancel all my appointments and that I would NOT be paying any cancellation fees, she started to talk over me and was rudely interrupting me. She finally said she would talk to the manager again in an effort to make me keep coming back, to which I clearly said no I will not be coming back and I have no interest in her speaking to her manager again as I made it clear again I will not be paying the fee. She then proceeded to hang up on me because she clearly got upset. She was completely rude and unprofessional and took personal offense to me being upset by the policy and telling her none of this made sense and how could I control my car issues. She brought up that they would bill me for the cancellation to which I clearly told her I will not be paying. This whole situation is completely ridiculous. Add to the fact that the appointment I cancelled was on Thursday at 12 PM, which they had open time slots for every single week and had no bookings for at all in the middle of the day because no one goes at this time, so it’s not like I prevented another appointment from taking place. In fact, THEY are the ones who wanted me to come in at this time because they have no other customers. Beware and stay away!

Experiencia fantástica: Thank you to Patricio for the excellent treatment you gave my son for his lower back. Patricio was informative and encouraging on the first day. He explained to my son how each exercise helps with the things he need to do in everyday life. He gave him clear instructions for how he should continue the exercises at home. Not only was the treatment excellent, but the atmosphere of kindness and joy helped as well. Courtney and Ireland has always been so nice and accommodating at times when I needed to cancel/reschedule. I would definitely recommend Athletico to anyone I know needing PT. Keep up the good work!!

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend the Athletico Physical Therapy location on Lake Forrest and Hiway 380 in McKinney, Texas for anyone with pre and post operative orthopedic issues. All the therapist there are great but I was fortunate to work with Hait Patel. I have been to four previous Physical Therapy locations over the years and this is the best of all. Screening exam is very thorough with keen attention to detail. The technique for strength and flexibility are taylor made, Very easy to remember and incorporate in daily exercise routine including while in bed. Highly recommended!

Experiencia fantástica: Due to a work injury from 3 years prior, I had an extensive hip surgery during November 2022. My surgeon prescribed Athletico for my PT recovery. I hobbled in that first day of PT on crutches, barely able to walk and unsure what recovery would look like. Patricio introduced himself as my PT. He was informative and encouraging on that first day. Because of his clarity in the overview of the plan, I wanted to come back for day two. Over the last 6 months, my PT journey has been difficult, exhausting, pushed me beyond my limits, but so rewarding and successful I would not change one single day of my PT healing journey. Patricio worked diligently to adjust the day’s program to respect limitations from life’s previous injuries, addressed any concerns I might have had (my limp, lack of range of motion, groin pain), prepared yoga stretches for me to do at home, and creatively created a workout to mimic my job duties. Made PT fun and competitive! When Patricio was unavailable for the day, PT Cameron stepped in and offered a different perspective of a rehab program. Amazing! This journey wouldn’t have even begun or been possible without the help of Courtney. She runs the front end show, dealing with all of the stuff that no one wants to address with insurance etc. Courtney was a God send throughout this healing journey. I am so thankful for her welcoming smile and standing up for me and my care. Today, 7 months post op, I am walking without a limp, back to work full time, stronger than I have been in a very long time, and so excited to continue the home program Patricio created for me. I am forever grateful for Patricio, Cameron, and Courtney for the encouragement, support, and connection throughout this healing journey. (They even laughed at my jokes!). Experiencia fantástica: If I could rate this 10 stars I definitely would, I came here a few months ago having real bad lower back pain. I’ve been working with Cameron since I’ve started and it has been such an amazing experience. Cameron has helped me immensely and is the best!! I love that they play awesome music and are so friendly! Today was my last day which was bittersweet cause I feel apart of the Athletico fam. Courtney has always been so nice and accommodating at times when I needed to cancel/reschedule. I hope for my backs sake that I will not need to return but if I do this is the only place I trust and know that i’m in great hands. Experiencia fantástica: I just completed physical therapy at Athletico in Mckinney with Patricio. I came in for PT for a wrist fracture that happened from a fall in my home. I can’t say enough good things about Patricio’s care. He is very knowledgeable and not only was able to help me with my wrist but helped me to work on exercises to build my strength so I am less of a fall risk as I live alone. I have a bad back and asthma and have been very inactive for a few years and have become very weak. I struggle to walk without a cane and can only go short distances. Patricio worked with me on walking and balance exercises as well as strengthening my legs and arms. He explained to me how each exercise helps with the things I need to do in everyday life. He gave me clear instructions for how I should continue the exercises at home. Patricio is very encouraging in a gentle way and extremely kind. Upon entering Athletico, Courtney, up front, is very welcoming and always ready to help where needed. The entire staff is wonderful.

Cameron is friendly and listen to your needs; Cameron shows and explains to me how to reduce back pain. He got me back to work! Courtney is awesome and is very helpful! Ps. He has motivated and encouraged me throughout the entire process.While he was away I was assigned a different therapist. Christina did not miss a beat. She quickly got to know me and had me doing things I didn’t think I could do. She truly cared about what was best for me. Patricio and Courtney have also been a part of my care. Thanks to care I received from Cameron Tripp and the rest of the staff my ankle feels significantly stronger. They really take time to go the extra mile and provide personalized treatment. Experiencia fantástica: I have been extremely satisfied with this PT location! Courtney is always adaptable and friendly when scheduling my appointments. I have MS and when I started with Patricio I had just gotten out of a wheelchair and couldn't do much at all. I can now get up and down from the floor, walk longer distances, play with my grandchildren, and go up and down stairs with ease! I even pushed 250 pounds on the leg press! On top of this, my pain has decreased immensely and i have lost 35 pounds! Patricio is my primary PT, but i have worked with both him and Cameron. Each of these PTs push me to do my best every day and create a fun and professional atmosphere. They are life changers here! I have been to Baylor, medical city mckinney, and multiple home health therapists and this group is by far the best! The amount of care is evident in the direct care they give and this place has again changed my life! Thank you Patricio, Cameron, and Courtney!

Cameron is beyond knowledgeable and fun-in the most professional way; always attentive and willing to answer any questions that come up. Patricio, my “torture” doctor, genuinely listens, got creative and helped me set goals that were beyond what I thought I was capable of. We made a plan, and he was by my side to make sure I surpassed those goals. In that, I was always taught and guided in ways to be successful in all aspects of daily activities ensuring continual and consistent progression. Everyone is always smiling and ready make the best of each and every visit. I went from barely walking to climbing mountains in just a few months and I couldn’t be more grateful. Both Cameron and Courtney was extremely helpful getting me started before even coming in. 1st appointment, upon arriving, good to see so much equipment and clean place. Cameron, YOU ROCK!!!! Within a couple of months of the exercises and therapy that Cameron at Athletico helped me with, I was back to normal and walking as usual. I was confident in the training and knowledge Cameron had. These folks are more than just care providers, they have been my champions, friends and tutors along the way. I had a great experience with my primary care provider Cameron Tripp, professional and informative at the same time. I had Patricio for a few sessions, great experience again. It was a breeze scheduling and rescheduling and sometimes re-re scheduling with Courtney. Experiencia fantástica: I am currently being treated for post operative rotater-cuff/bicep tear. Prior to starting PT, I lucked in to this place while eating dinner next door. I walked in, met the site Physical Therapist to discuss my recovery goals as they were to return to "athletic" lifestyle. I was immediately impressed with the level of expertise as well as all of the insight I was given to my particular injury as far as where I was at in my current recovery plan. My search was over at that point. I am at approx. week 6 of my treatment plan; while there is a long way to go, I feel that I am ahead of the curve for getting back to, from what I consider a, normal active lifestyle. My progress is a direct result of my treatment here. What sets this location apart is my treatment is with the actual PT versus a Tech going through a list of exercises. Furthermore, I am being treated based on my progress and not a set plan. Looking forward to the outcome!
