Experiencia fantástica: My orthopedist tried several things (including spinal injections) to treat recurring problems with pain in my hip, but nothing worked. He sent me to Nat to see if PT could help. I knew from a previous experience with my knee rehab that I was in good hands at Physical Therapy of Melissa. Under the careful supervision and patient guidance from Nat, Lindsey, and Pam I recovered full use of my hip and my hip pain gradually diminished. Last month I was able to climb the almost 14,000 steps to the top of the Harbor Bridge in Sydney, Australia. I couldn't have done that without them. I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough. I can honestly say I looked forward to my rehab sessions and could feel immediate benefit each time. The entire team at Physical Therapy of Melissa is professional, friendly, caring, and dedicated to helping their patients regain full mobility. I so appreciate having their expert team thee when I need them.

Experiencia fantástica: After knee replacement, I had an exercise mishap at another PT center. After resting for two weeks with no exercise, my doctor referred me to Dr. Kevin Bierle at Physical Therapy of Melissa. What a great PT team they have. Working with Dr Bierle and Annette Jones a great PTA, I had my mobility back in my new knee within five weeks and had achieved all my PT goals after the surgery. Kevin and Annette explained the exercises and their importance to my recovery. The support staff was friendly and helpful. Everyone was so nice, I told them I actually enjoyed going to physical therapy there.

They did an amazing job of making a plan of attack on taking care of my injury to my back and resulting loss of control of my right foot. They laid out exactly what they thought needed to be done including a homework list that made it easy to follow. Even after the first month I was noticing increased strength and control back in my foot and reduced pain in my back. By the time we completed the process I have 99.9% motion control back and no current need to operate on my back! I can't thank them enough for all of the help during this process.

The facility is clean, well organized, and our appointments always ran right on time. My 11 yr old daughter is a competitive dancer and was suffering from knee pain from a condition known as Osgood-Schlatter. After 5 weeks of physical therapy she is almost 100% pain free! She was sad when she was told that she had graduated and would not need to come back. She really enjoyed her time in PT. Dr. Kevin was great with her and actually made the whole experience a lot of fun. Five days after my surgery, I entered Physical Therapy of Melissa dependent on a walker. Colby has been wonderful. It was evident early on that he is very knowledgeable about treatment. With all my exercises he has been kind and encouraging, but also knows exactly how to push me out of my comfort zone. I leave every session feeling improved and motivated. Dr. Kevin Bierle performed my initial evaluation and has supervised my treatment. Throughout my therapy sessions I have been encouraged, challenged and supported every step of the way. The front office personnel have been professional and extremely helpful with scheduling and billing procedures. The facility is always clean, orderly and outfitted with equipment needed for the upmost treatment experience. I will finish my appointments tomorrow and I am delighted with my progress. They have made a tough, sometimes painful journey fun! I especially want to mention Rebecca and Eli, too, for keeping it enjoyable each day. I highly recommend PT of Melissa. I had trouble walking, going up and down stairs, sleeping, doing any kind of housework and getting in and out of my truck. Kevin and his team were friendly and super supportive and helped be able to do all those things now mostly pain free!

You will find Lisa, their Patient Experience Manager, very friendly and accommodating in scheduling your sessions and helping with anything you need. At our first meeting she evaluated my condition and developed a comprehensive recovery plan that was easy to understand. We have been following the plan and evaluating my progress along the way. I always know where I am and what I have left to do. She is very friendly and obviously concerned about me as her patient. She has been assisted by two experienced Physical Therapy Aides, Eli and Jayvin. Both are friendly, professional and attentive to my needs. I feel very comfortable with the staff and the facility and look forward to my sessions. All in all, I have had a great experience and would never go anywhere else for Physical Therapy. Experiencia fantástica: I like rock climbing and working out a lot. I was noticing an issue with how far I could reach overhead and how it was impacting my rock climbing. After speaking with Dr. Kevin, he developed a plan for me to build strength and mobility back into my right shoulder. After just a few weeks of focused exercises 2/week I already noticed a huge difference in the stability of my shoulder overhead. I am now able to nail some difficult positions that I wouldn't have been able to do before. I appreciated the attention the team gave me and enjoyed their fun style environment that made it a lot easier to do the hard work of rehabbing an injury. Without their positive attitudes, I would be easily frustrated by the time it was taking or the pain I was working through. I have both improved performance as an athlete as well as less pain day to day.

Experiencia fantástica: I recently was experiencing excruciating pain in my neck and decided to try doing some physical therapy. I was quite skeptical at first but quickly realized that I was wrong. Maria knew exactly what exercises I needed to do to help in starting to alleviate the pain. I went twice/week for about 5 weeks and finished with zero pain in my neck. Maria was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and overall a wonderful therapist!! I will definitely be returning in the future as my old body deems necessary.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been to many places for physical therapy on several different parts of my body. I wasn’t looking forward to going to another one for my foot, but I knew that I had to do it because of recovery from surgery. By the end of the first day I was starting to change my mind. Checking in wasn’t a “ here fill this in and sit and wait,” it was so warm and welcoming. All of the PT’s were so welcoming and friendly. They made it where I wanted to come to therapy. I’ve got to have shoulder surgery and I plan on coming back here, to MPT, for my therapy!

Experiencia fantástica: I started coming here specifically to work with Maria - on my pelvic floor and diastasis 4 months postpartum. It was best decision I ever made. I didn’t realize so much of my back pain was actually related to these other core muscles and she helped me strengthen my core. To the point where in just 5-6 weeks I could go a whole day with no belly band support and no pain medication - which was a huge breakthrough for me. I never though that would be possible with my diastasis but it was amazing. Having a pelvic floor specialist like Maria made going here such a pleasure because she knew exactly how to help me bounce back to a body with strength after having 3 kids! Highly recommend Maria to any postpartum mama. She is amazing and will help you with things you didn’t even realize you needed.

I was worried I'd be disabled permanently. However, after 4 months or so of PT, I'm back to being able to do almost everything and was able to meet all of my goals. They work with you in terms of scheduling, insurance questions, and provide great care regarding physical rehabilitation from surgery or some other physical ailment. I would highly recommend this facility and will be returning in the future should I need to receive physical therapy services.

Everyone at the office was great and I’m so happy with my progress along with a huge reduction in back/leg pain. Scheduling was very easy and I appreciated the variety of appointment times and flexibility for my schedule. Communication was great and I felt really comfortable with my treatment plan. Experiencia fantástica: Having had a right knee replacement I was fortunate to have staff at Melissa PT work with me. They have now discharged me and I am so pleased with the progress I have made. I am 72 years old and thought my jogging days were over. I can now jog and play outdoors with my grandson. It seemed like a long and painful process, but thanks to the staff at Melissa PT it was all worth it.

Experiencia fantástica: I injured my back while playing tennis and visited Physical Therapy of Melissa for analysis for severe lower back pain. Dr. Kevin spent very good time to find the root cause of the issue and sent the report for doctor approval. Once the approval was received Kevin started with few exercises which helped me gain some confidence. When Kevin went on vacation, I was assigned to Dr. Cole. Initially I was skeptical as Kevin was very good and I did not want to change my doctor. But, Cole blew off all the doubts and he surprised me with a new exercise on every visit. He used to encourage me by doing some of those very difficult exercises along with me. The whole team Kevin, Cole, Becca, Eli and the front staff are super friendly and awesome. I highly recommend Physical Therapy of Melissa.
