The housekeeping was very helpful and always introduced themselves and explained what there service was each day, food service was good and other options as well. Nursing staff showed great customer service and care. Harriet over events is wonderful and found things I could enjoy in my room because I don't like big crowds. She had a difficult time with her transition here but with all the great activities and events my sister is starting to settle in well. Experiencia negativa: My mother went to the hospital after breaking her femur and knee replacement, then had to go back to the hospital to treat her for blood clots. Edgewood was the second rehab facility she tried, and it was a complete waste of time amd money. Over her time there at Edgewood, they had her on oxycodone for pain. Unfortunately, that medication was making her hallucinate... for months... Their "trained medical professionals" never saw the signs, I was the one who noticed. After informing the staff of her hallucinations, and their agreeing to change her pain medication to tramadol, they were STILL giving her oxycodone for a week. By the time her head cleared, her therapy benefit already expired, so she continued paying out of pocket until she could be transfered out. She was moved to a rehab hospital, and the staff at Edgewood agreed that is where she should have been all along. However, that admission took place ONLY AFTER spending MONTHS at their facility having those hallucinations that prevented her from attending therapy. Once she was transfered to an actual rehab hospital, she was standing up ON HER OWN in less than a week. That is something Edgewood couldn't do. Furthermore, not only is the night staff critically under staff, but she would only be changed a couple times a day. if you care about your loved one, do NOT let them go to Edgewood.

Experiencia fantástica: My Mom has been here for 2yrs and she doesn't get up often due to some pain in hip but she couldn't miss the Prom. We really enjoyed the Prom it was really nice; loved the Dancers and the singer,the decorations was so beautiful. The Activity lady is so nice and always keeps me updated on my mom.

I'm looking forward to the great upcoming Prom this month. I have noticed a positive change here it seems to be more stable with their new Team . Great care now and nice staff. Since the new Adminstrator started last May and all of the changes that he’s made with the admin team have rolled in, this has become such a wonderful place to work. I am unable to get out of bed often but the Activity Director brings good room activities to keep me busy which helps me alot. I like my roommate and she keeps company to she nice. Experiencia fantástica: When I started working at this facility as one of the Directors, I knew the challenges of turning the building around. With great staff, leadership, and thorough working and providing great care for the residents of our facility we have done just that. We had our annual survey on yesterday and had a great outcome! We welcome any family and all employees who are interested in working at Edgewood to come by and learn about the great things we are doing here!

Experiencia fantástica: My mother in law is 87 years old has Dementia and got sick was in here for almost a month and we never had any issues. With the dementia she is not always the friendliest person to be around but the staff at Edgewood was extremely patient and caring with her. Even with her yelling and violent behavior at all times of day and night. She was always clean and changed in a timely manner. She has since been discharged and is back home with us and the staff is still willing to help and answer any questions that we have and help get us the resources that we need to get her the best help she needs. We are extremely grateful for them and we will recommend them to anyone.
