Experiencia fantástica: The staff of central valley specialty hospital are wonderful. I am particularly touched by CNAs Christy, Anahi and Marie, also LVN Anna. They are simply amazing, an example of passionate and compassionate workers always very professional, exceptionally kind . They always provide excellent patient care to my mom. I am so impressed with how well they love and do their job. I am very grateful to have such amazing people taking care of my mom.

" I am the wife of a patient at the Central valley Specialty Hospital going on his 3rd day now in room 123, I need to show my appreciation to the morning CNA Seema for her professional and dedicated care and I do mean Professional! I have learned new ways watching her to better care for my husband . She is super sweet and polite, very focused and concerned about my husband's care needs. I love that she places the head movement alarm when I have to step out because he can't use his hands to call for help and is non verbal. Seema thank you again so much for your dedicated service to your patient and the Hospital you are a much needed asset.

Experiencia fantástica: I have worked at CVSH for almost 10years and I have seen a lot of good outcomes where patients come on ventilators and discharged home on room air. Therapy department does great job. Our pulmonologist and respiratory therapists does great job as many of our patients are here for respiratory issues. I would recommend my family here.

Experiencia fantástica: I am so happy with my care at CVSH. I am a stroke survivor, and woke up at CVSH. I was found after 48 hours and could have died. They transported me by helicopter to Doctor's on Modesto, and after four weeks I arrived here. I woke up after 72 hours here and have had the best care. Certainly nurses have been slower at times to respond, but they are always friendly. A shout-out to the amazing PT staff - Rocio, Art, Boris, and Cesar. Would not be where I am without you!

The previous hospital told us there was minimal hope of my brother coming back home after his accident. The staff here showed great care and concern for my brother and our family. Within weeks my brother was able to breathe on his own, eat and walk with help. If your loved one needs a second chance this is the place to do it.

Experiencia fantástica: My father was admitted here about 3 weeks ago. I’m very pleased with their services the level of care they provided him. This hospital is so clean and they strictly follow COVID-19 protocols, to keep everybody safe. Nurses are very attentive and caring. Doctors are awesome. They answer your calls right away with any questions and concerns. My father was transferred from Fresno to here because of his health issues, I was very scared in the beginning but now I’m so relieved. Very, very trustworthy place to put your loved one here and help them get recovered and come home. Highly recommend

Experiencia fantástica: I have been in 17 different hospitals since 2014 and even though this hospital is a rehabilitation hospital I have never dealt with a more passionate, caring and loving nursing crew. The nurses here treat there patients more like family than sick person. Every single nurse that has cared for me has treated me with respect and understanding. I'm here because another hospital did surgery on me and grafted infected tissue into my leg causing me to get Osteomyelitis which I almost had to have my leg amputated. CVSH, has provided me the most amazing and entertaining care and the nurses, Physical therapy, laboratory technicians have never given me a reason to not like them. I recommend CVSH for your Long Term Rehabilitation or just short stay convalescent care.

I will never forget the Staff: Dr Badia, Dasha, Cesar, Stephanie, Melissa, Sabrina, Heather and so many more. My son was able to come home after 3 1/2 months at the first hospital and little over 1 month there. What a blessing. They accomplished what seemed impossible. Thank you so very much!

Experiencia fantástica: We just want to extend our gratitude and thanks to the staff (NURSES, CNA's PHYSICAL and RESPIRATORY therapist) for giving an excellent care to our Mom, Carmelita Opinaldo. Special thanks to Dr. Bahia( a miracle worker). My Mom's platelet count were so low and he was able to figure out which medications was causing her platelets to drop. Thank God it is now normal. Dr. Lucky was also very accommodating, both doctors gave us their private contact numbers to reach them for help anytime. We wish to extend our appreciation to Maribel, patient advocate for listening and taking into account our concerns and made things easier for us. Allison from the admissions department did a wonderful job as well. Last but not the least, so grateful for Ruth, Case Manager and Ashley who made all the necessary appointments, ordered equipments and transportation so my Mom will get home to Vallejo safely. Ruth also provided us contact number to ensure that we can directly communicate with her anytime. Ruth's professionalism and excellent performance of her job is very commendable. Thank you.

Experiencia fantástica: Let me start by proclaiming that I owe all the fantastic people at, Central Valley Specialty Hospital, my life! I was stuck in a comma, somewhere in California for several months and, because my lungs collapsed due to an extreme case of pneumonia, they stopped working on their own. Massive change for a guy that was used to eating and smoking whatever he wanted. Let’s face it folks, I was used to smoking copious amounts of Marijuana and three packs of cigarettes a day. Not healthy at all. So, I was sent several hours away from my home to, CVSH, as a last-ditch effort to save my existence. Understand, I couldn’t walk, talk or breath on my own. I was not willing to heal. I wanted to die… I couldn’t even eat on my own. I had a hose in the middle of my throat to breath and another one in the middle of my gut to be fed. Miserable! But something remarkable happened, these people refused to let me give up on myself. They refused to let me die. I was eventually able to eat again, as well as breath on my own. I was feeling hope for the first time in a long time. After a few months I could even walk once more. I’m home now and the experience is behind me. I stopped smoking “everything” and have since been able to change my unhealthy eating habits. I walk every day. I try to remind myself how fragile life is, and that every moment must be counted. Hi Dr. Lucky, Hi Dasha, Hi Cesar, Hi Britany, Hi Christian and all of you liberators I forgot to mention. I don’t think I’ll ever forget any of you. Thank you for that second chance…

Experiencia fantástica: Was worried because I seen it was a 2 star rating & seen reviews of mistreatment and neglect. My dad was sent here yesterday. I asked him how he was being treated. He said WAY better than when he was at Sutter hospital. At Sutter they strapped him down and wouldn’t try to listen to what he was needing. My dad said they treat him very well here and nurses check on him a lot and he’s well taken care of and feels respected. Wanted to leave a review for anyone hesitant and concerned about their loved ones being here. Hopefully the complaints about the mistreatment of those other reviews got figured out and the staff who wasn’t doing their job right got let go. When I was there just today, the staff had no attitude at all and were very kind.

Experiencia fantástica: My dad is still alive because of the great personal and professional care that he received from the excellent nurses, staff, physicians, physical therapists and even managers. During his more than 2 months of stay at this institution, he dodged so many complications that could have happened to a totally bed bound hemorrhagic stroke patient. Staff supported us emotionally during this stressful time in our family's time. Their team coordination between different providers and rehab professionals and nursing staff was commendable. Their rehab folks are fantastic. My dad left the hospital with his breathing tubes removed due to excellent care provided by speech therapists. He was able to stand on his feet before he left, which was nothing close to miracle due to hard and consistent efforts of the physical and occupational therapists who did not give up on him. If I could have given more than 5 stars to this institution or staff, I will gladly do it. Will always be so thankful for making a difference in so many people's lives when they need the most. Keep up the awesome work that you are doing in our community Central Valley Specialty Hospital!

The bed is cleaner, newer and the environment is much more friendly. His nurse Summer is engaging, friendly and a breath of fresh air.

Experiencia fantástica: I spent 6-7 weeks at this hospital and I'm alive because of them!! I got put on a ventilator due to pnoumona. When I was secure enough I came here. I thank all the nurse's, doctors, respiratory & rehabilitation therapist for the work they did. They were all truly dedicated and caring. The food was amazing. Who would of thought I would miss a hospital.
