Experiencia fantástica: I had my heart surgery here. I had an aortic valve replaced. Best doctor best hospital best everything

Experiencia negativa: Wow...my wife has been here 7 hours in er, and that's fine did exrays, blood work and transfusion. Then Nurse Isaac and Security officer Alex told me I needed to leave the er and abandon my wife. I advised Alex that I recently spent a week here due to major back surgery and have copd...he said he understands, following policy. Then Isaac raised his voice to.my wife and myself...upsetting her. (Alex was there and witnessed it) I told him do not raise your voice, per your sign this is suppose to be a healing environment. I appreciate they are busy but there was 18 empty chairs...he could have waited. Here for almost 7 hours...and now kicking me out??? I'll tell ya regular part of hospital was really good, treated me very well since I could not walk for a week. Everyone else in er was great but Isaac was a very intolerant person.

Experiencia negativa: I am writing this review as I am waiting in emergency room for my wife. 1- Very rude front office staff. 2- Security guards are very intimidating 3- There is not enough chairs to sit while very sick people literally suffering with pain and they have to stand up 4- There are 6 empty chairs in 3 cubicles in waiting room with a sign saying "Do not sit". While we are here, they were never used for anything.. 5- No compession whatsoever 6- Doctor was the only praise worthy individual out of all... 7- And I am pretty sure they will charge us thousands of dollars for mistreating people.

Experiencia negativa: The nurses here are god awful, snooty and rude. One tried to tell me that my daughter was my sister. 90% of the people that come here could easily go to urgent care... ALL of sun city comes here to hang out on a nightly basis. ER wait times are outrageous. Doctors have sent me home during actual emergencies.

Melanie Holloway 1 year ago

Experiencia positiva: Delivery and postpartum staff were great. Unfortunately, the hospital misspelled my daughters name for her social security card and birth certificate. I called the hospital a few times so they could fix it, and they said they would, but they never did.

Experiencia negativa: My mother was taken there after seeing a podiatrist who made a stat order for X-rays and ultrasound for her foot which they told her they would put her on IV meds and try to save the foot...she went in Friday and is in the damn hallway with little to no info from the docs or nurses still given food when the surgery is fasting ‍♀️ NEVER again and I might as well be at inland valley hospital at least she would be in a room

Experiencia negativa: Hospital sucks and nurses are rude. Since my daughter was almost 2 she was constantly sick and I would bring her in and every time we would come in nurses were rude always asking me and her dad what kind of care she was getting at home as far as what medicines we were giving her, if we checked her fever and how did we check it and every time we would respond they would respond back like we were clueless and didn’t know how to care for my daughter or if like we weren’t at all. Once we took her in because she was severely dehydrated and since my daughter had a bruise on her they started questioning me and her dad like if we were abusing her and after that we rude to both of us and when we got discharged they said they cared for her because of her bruises. I just brought my daughter in today 4/21/24 and again was greeted by a rude PA and she was taking to me like I didn’t know what i was talking about. My daughter can’t take oral medication and she has a ear infection but will vomit it up and when i told her that’s why I went because she can’t take any oral medication again she proceeded to ask what do i do at home how does she take medication and when i told her she throws it up not like spitting out but actual vomit she looked at me all stupid and proceeded to tell my daughter you have to take your medicine gee if only i haven’t had told her that. Got up and left. I won’t be back and I’ll just handle my daughter with out medical care and figure it out our trips are always pointless. Riverside county hospital is much better ✌

Experiencia negativa: If I could give zero stars I would. Do NOT take your family here if you want them to get better. We went 48 hours without being able to see a doctor and they just kept saying they were messaging providers because they weren't on the property. Even the 2 nurses we actually didn't have issues with told us they only work there because they don't want to commute to San Diego and they'd never bring their family here. My mom was in a hallway room with execrating pain and hard time breathing due to lung cancer. They then put her in the CDU which was a JOKE and scary they even allow this. They ignored my mom anytime she hit the call light and she wouldn't get meds for HOURS after they were due. I had to argue with so many nurses and doctors just to get them to check for a UTI since her urine was BROWN and they finally did at 6 days and guess what? She had one and they only gave her 1 pill of her antibiotics course and that's it!! I contacted patient relations for a transfer but they wouldn't allow it. She was discharged after a week and sent home not any better. She ended up back in the ER at Temecula Valley 2 days later in such critical condition she was transferred to UCSD in San Diego where we've been for a week now getting AMAZING care. Moral of the story; if you want your loved one to die then bring them here. If not, go anywhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: My wife had our third baby on this hospital. The attention was really great for all of us. The doctors and nurses were very kind.

Experiencia negativa: If i can give zero stars I would horrible experience I had yesterday I went in with pain In the chest and what they said were anxiety attacks , I arrived at 12 pm and I have no complains about the gentlemen that helped me in the front desk he was very kind and started monitoring my heart right away but the rest of the staff saw a man arrive 10 min after me with clear symptoms of a possible heart attack his whole body shaking they proceeded to have him wait in the lobby at about 2 pm that man suffered a heart attack right in front of all of us it took them about 5 min to scramble around and find a "bed" to carry him on that was outside next to a vending machine! Upon asking one of the nurses why is it that they left him out there for so long when his symptoms were obvious she said she would ask and find out what happened I was supposed to receive blood drawn two more times after a couple hours when I returned the doctor told me that what I was experiencing were withdrawals from being a former marijuana user I explained to him that I was honest from the beginning I did use before for help with sleep because of insomnia I had the past couple years but I have not used for about 5 months he proceeded to say that was a lie even though I have no reason to lie and said that was all he could do and that I was fine to go home never took out the next sets of blood And the nurse that discharged me was just as rude after hearing I was a former smoker she said they wouldn't give me medicine for anxiety even though I was not asking for any my concern was is there anything actually wrong with my heart and she said well all i can tell you is you may or may not have a heart attack I can't predict that it honestly infuriated me because they have no right to discriminate on being a former smoker when we're all aware that nurses stay addicted to Adderall to pull those long hour shifts , bottom line they all seem mad and annoyed that they're working there and if you ask me what they did with that man was medical malpractice to the fullest ! Please if you have a life threatening emergency don't go here .

Experiencia fantástica: Came into the ER due to diabetes complications and was admitted for a week. Everyone that I had come in contact with was extremely pleasant and well mannered. Best hospital I have EVER been to. Thank you to everyone that helped during my stay and recovery.

Leah Cain 1 year ago

Experiencia negativa: I give 0 stars for this place. My mom went in for a "non-life threatening surgery" . It was a routine surgery. She passed away due to a pulmonary embolism. She laid in bed after the surgery for nearly four days and complained of trouble breathing and increasing pain. The only thing they did was give her oxygen. Her postoperative care was abysmal. The whole reason they kept her was to monitor her. When she passed her my chart was shut down so we couldn't see what happened and we were not allowed to say our goodbyes to her. Her room was taped off and we were told that we would be arrested if we went inside. A security guard escorted my family out. The hospital did not reach out to us at all! No family advocate-nothing. The only person that talked to us was the county sheriff's office. The family had to wait a month to get the death certificate in order to get her medical records. I had to try and make sense of the records and read the details of my mom's death. That was horrific for me. My mom would be alive today had she not gone here. Please think twice about coming here. Your loved ones may not come out and the hospital literally does not care. My mom was a healthy, vibrant woman who had many more years ahead of her. I wish now she had just gone to San Diego for her care.

Experiencia fantástica: I had to unfortunately visit the ER last night, let me tell you that they were more than full of customers…… starting with the wonderful smile your greeted with to the rest of the nurses PA’s staff in General are amazing. I want to personally thank you all for making my visit great!! And I have a long recovery ahead of me so it wasn’t an easy visit but I do greatly appreciate your professionalism even tho your all swamped and over worked!!! T H A N K Y O U !

Experiencia negativa: Disappointing manner for most nurses and some doctors, especially in the ED. My moms first visit here they tried to draw blood for her and they couldn’t draw any for 4 tries which was acceptable considering my mother was a cancer patient and is difficult to draw because of her ruptured veins. But what was unacceptable is the fact that blood was dripping from her arms and the nurse drawing her was stepping on the blood on the floors. My mom recently passed in this hospital, this was her 2nd visit and she was brought to the ED and while waiting for the room in the floors to be available for my mom they sent us to wait in one of the rooms in the ed, in this room I found an unpacked needle lying on the floor. And as soon as i saw staff i don’t know whether this fellow was a nurse, an ed tech or i don't know what this guy’s title was but he picked it up sticked it in front of my face and with a sarcastic manner of tone he said “oh it is not used”. I knew my mom was at that end point of her life but it felt like the staff from the doctor’s all the way to nurses didn’t do much effort to at least “try” to do something for her. Working as healthcare worker as well and in the same field this was extremely unacceptable manner especially for an institution that hold's up to its reputation as a “teaching hospital.

Experiencia fantástica: this hospital is great went there with my husband to a packed waiting room the other night, my husband was having a stroke. Nurse Francine R was at the desk and knew right away that he was in trouble and called and had him in the c.t. scan room in less than 5 minutes. Had us in a room and in 3 minutes Dr Douglas Todd and nurse Jennifer was there to the rescue. These 3 employees make this hospital a great hospital for coming to work there and doing what they love which it really shows. My husband has been in 6 different hospital in the pass years and this one is one of the best. Dr Todd came in every hour to update me on test and progress and what he was going to do. When you sit in the emerg room for hours you really get to see how things are done and who gets the job done and this E.R. does it right. I want to thank all 3 of them for helping my husband when he needed them to be there. Thank you E.R. nurse Francine R and Dr Douglas Todd and nurse Jennifer very much

Experiencia fantástica: I can't believe anyone would give this hospital (Loma Linda University Medical Center) a negative review I highly recommend it to everyone. They take really good care of you , The rooms are almost like a 5 star hotel. You have a private tiled restroom with a walk in tiled shower, big screen Tv, a sofa, remote controlled lighting. You can speak to the nurses desk from your bed. Speaking of bed it is a orthopedic mattress, they will bring you coffee , warmed up blankets, you have a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. Your room is cleaned every day whether it needs it or not. But most of all the nurses really care about you. I asked my Cardiologist why is "EVERYONE" so friendly and nice ? He told me that this is a hospital that is suppose to set an example. I had a three day stay twice. The first ER was around 20 min wait the second around 30 min wait. "WHAT IS THERE NOT TO LIKE? Who ever said it was dirty Really??

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter was born here and the whole process was amazing. The nurses were so friendly and polite. They honored my natural birth plan. My doctor didn't make it in time and looking back, I'm glad he didn't. In the two hours I spent with my nurse, Danielle, I had a better relationship with her than I'd developed with my obgyn over 9 months. She delivered my daughter professionally and had us laughing through the process which is pretty amazing for natural labor. I wish I could specifically request her for my next delivery, but I will definitely go back to Loma Linda.

Experiencia fantástica: Had surgery a year ago and it went smoothly. I went to ER one time and it was good. The medical center where I did my radiation treatments for cancer was totally off the hook. The doctor and the nurses were caring and concerned I still go for swallow therapy and get excellent service. As far as I think it is a great hospital for the community. Those that rated it as 1 star I understand your concern. Anytime we are sick or injured we need fast caring service. I hope the hospital hears you and corrects the issues you raised because this hospital deserves 4 or 5 stars always.

Experiencia fantástica: My 88 year old father required life saving cardiac care and Loma Linda Murrieta staff identified the problems, stabilized them and them treated them for a great recovery. The nursing staff and support personnel were amazing! Excellent service and very knowledgeable and always professional. Dr. always stopped to keep us informed and treatment keep moving forward. Great food for patients, and good service staff very accommodating

Experiencia fantástica: If you need an Inland Empire hospital choose this one! Heard a physician say "I need to go read your chart and your medical history"! Heard another say "That's just wrong" about something that was wrong. Heard nurses, medical staff, food service and maintenance staff say only kind things and saw smiles and professionalism everywhere including in the Emergency Room and on the floors as well as in person and on the phones. Good job to all of the employees and physicians! The hospital designer was unaware of hospital activities so there are real problems. CAUTION! Many of the washrooms automatically dispense very hot water to wash your hands that will burn you or your child. Unfortunately, the lights over the delightfully provided guest bed cannot be turned off and can temporarily blind you. The implementation has created the need for a higher than normal maintenance budget and staff that has not yet caught up with the damage done on a daily basis. The directions on the walls are inadequate so you can get lost.

Experiencia fantástica: My dad went to Loma Linda Hospital to have an angiogram so to he could be cleared for knee surgery . I can't say enough about doctors and nurses that day! They were so friendly from the time they took him back, to after surgery and while he was in recovery. My dad unfortunately was not able to be cleared for surgery due to medical reasons. But I'm so incredibly grateful to Toni his main nurse, she was so sweet and kind to my dad and to us, Katie for her little dances every time she passed by , definetly but some cheer to our day Lulu for helping my dad get discharged and Bobby for peeking in and your contagious smile . I know there was a few other nurses while we were there and I'm sorry I didn't get your names but I appreciate all of you! Thank you Loma Linda for taking such good care of my dad!

Experiencia fantástica: I was 35 weeks pregnant and was in a car accident and had to be transferred to this hospital. (All my pre-natal appointments were at the main Loma Linda hospital) From my arrival. I was transferred directly to be seen at L&D and cannot express enough how kindly I was treated. The whole staff I interacted with was amazing and very attentive. I ended up having an emergency c-section (baby and I are doing great now) and the staff was excellent to make sure I was okay. From the nurses, to the doctors, the NICU etc. everyone treated me kindly and I stayed 3 days until baby and I were ready to go home. I couldn’t be more thankful for how the staff made a scary situation feel safe. Although my first birthing experience was not the way I hoped for, the staff made the scary situation feel less scary, I was taken very care of, and I cannot express how much my daughter was well taken care of as well. A huge thank you to everyone at L&D especially nurse Brandy and Jen from NICU!

Experiencia fantástica: My mom, had a pacemaker procedure done here and the staff from the welcome desk to all of the nursing staff were wonderful. Although it was supposed to be an out patient procedure, when her Cardiologist decided she needed to stay overnight, the procedure nurses stayed late until they could transfer her to a room. The nurses on the floor were kind and did everything in their power to make her comfortable even though they were obviously short-staffed.

Experiencia fantástica: My sister was experiencing kidney/renal issues, and although she resides in Hemet, she chose to go to Loma Linda Univ.. Hosp.- Murrieta, thank God she went there, she was treated great from the beginning by the ER staff, and was admitted after only a few hours. The excellent care continued from there by Dr. Edmunds and Dr. Eng, and all the 5th floor nursing staff and personnel. Thank you Loma Linda Univ. Murrieta. You guys are the best!!!

Experiencia fantástica: We checked in to Loma Linda Hospital in Murrieta on 8/24/22 on an emergency basis as we were expecting our first child. The front emergency staff was very efficient and called in the nurse in charge, Stephanie Molina from the Delivery & Labor. She greeted us, provided valuable info. and put all of our anxieties to rest. If perfect nurses can be cloned one day, she would be the perfect choice. Stephanie comforted both of us and worked with the MD Teresa Avants who in was in charge that night. Doctor Avants checked on my wife, Lupe periodically. As my wife got close to delivery, the baby’s heart kept fluctuating very high and very low. Doctor Avants assessed the situation and decided on C-section. We are very lucky she was there that night. After delivery, she informed us that in her 35 yrs of experience, she hadn’t seen a baby intertwined with the cord four times over. The staff, Natalie, Taylor, Doria, and especially Rocio were exceptionally professional and friendly. Dr. Antonio Meixel was very helpful and kind. Last but not least, Tammy Kruzick, the Lactation whisperer, was incredible and very helpful. All in all, we experienced professional medical staff at their BEST!!!! We belonged to a different medical insurance but hope to switch to one that encompasses Loma Linda medical Hospital. Tom and Lupe Rostai

Experiencia fantástica: Got surgery at this hospital last week and the nurses could not have been more kind during my visit. Was only there for about 4 hours but the care I was given by 3 specific female nurses was very comforting. I felt very nervous before surgery and fainted but the nurses in the pre-op room did seriously everything they could to help me feel better and be comfortable.

Experiencia fantástica: My review is 6 years late. But I want to leave a review since I had a great experience with this hospital. My son (now 6 ) was delivered here on 10/17/14. My provider Dr Safie was the best! The help from nurse Sherry Medina was excellent as well! My Caydon and I stayed for 3 nights and we were very well taken care of. Caydon did not leave my sight! The staff accommodated my family and made them comfortable during their visit. We are no longer living in Menifee, but this hospital was super close to our home at the time, which made it all so convenient! Thank you Loma Linda hospital staff!

Experiencia fantástica: My experience with LLUMC is all around the labor and delivery unit. I had a fantastic experience from start to finish! Every nurse who was assigned to me or I came into contact with was nothing short of compassionate, personable, and extremely knowledgeable in their position! I truly felt my baby and I were taken care of to the highest standard. I never felt pushed into anything I didn’t want to do, but felt o was fully informed on all my options. The postpartum unit was no different then labor and delivery. I still wish that Dr. Phillips, the Neonatologist we saw, was a pediatrician because she was fantastic. She answered every question we had and then some, came to talk with us personally, and even checked up on us before we left to make sure we felt comfortable. I highly recommend choosing LLUMC for any pregnant moms deciding which hospital to deliver at!

Experiencia fantástica: I received excellent care from the team assigned to my surgery. I was so extremely scared and crying before my procedure, but the nurses were so kind of my anxiety and fears. They didn’t downplay it and really worked with me in keeping me calm. I just wanted to say a big thanks to the staff that helped me! To the IR/GI staff Laura, Jeanie, Michelle, Mike and Dr. Underwood! Your team took great care in making me feel safe and understood. Thank you so much for your care.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to the ER a few days ago due to COVID. I always get great care when visiting the ER and this time was no different. Considering all that is going on right now they still did an amazing job. They listened to my concerns and never rushed me. They ran a bunch of tests and were able to figure out how to help me. I was having complications due to covid that I couldn't manage on my own at home anymore. I am sad that I cannot remember staff by name to shout them out but I am grateful to all of them and the care I received. I ended up being admitted and was being treated by Dr Martinez who is also amazing. When he came to speak to me I could tell he had already been reviewing my chart and it made me very comfortable. He would listen to anything I had to say and took it into consideration. He never made me feel rushed or obligated to do anything I didn't want to do. Both Dr. Martinez and my ER Dr were sure to let me know that I get to yes to treatments because it my body and my choice and they both want to do their job and provide me with what they see as the best medical options for me. After a few days here and receiving treatment I was allowed to go home and I am doing well. I also want to thank all of the PAs, Nurses, and CNAs that took part in my care. I appreciate everyone! You all made my stay less scary and more comfortable! I am blessed because of you all!

I felt like multiple staff members went out of their way to make sure we had good care and were well informed. The facility was nicely kept and I think handling the COVID-19 pandemic better than other hospitals we have visited. Exemplary A+

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot say anything but praises for the labor and delivery staff. Private rooms for the whole process and the nicest and most caring staff ever. They gave us the space we needed to get sleep and recover while also being very attentive and available. You can tell they honestly care about their patients and want to help. If you are looking for a place to give birth there isn’t a better hospital then here!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a very good experience!! They have many techs to take vitals as soon as you walk in. I was seen by an RN to discuss my problem in a reasonable time. Shortly after a PA discussed my issues. Testing was done rapidly. Diagnosis was given and correct. It was busy but they stayed on track. I drive from Hemet to go to this hospital. I am glad I did. Thank you hero’s. Great place, clean and good staff.

Experiencia fantástica: Currently at the ER fir my son and it’s busier than I have seen it in a VERY long time. I have a chronic illness and every time I come here they treat me great. The staff is amazing even when they’re up to their eyeballs in patients. The doctors, nurses and their support staff are a hard working, compassionate team.

Experiencia fantástica: Husband has ALS from military service, he had a gall bladder tube inserted 3 months ago, should have been removed in 3 weeks by Dr Husted, hemet valley hospital, it was never done, always an excuse by Dr Husted, Loma Linda was recommended by a friend, larrys tube fell out, ambulance transported him to Loma Linda, they took him back and I approached a women behind the desk and told her my husband was non verbal and scared and I needed to be with him. She was dark hair, short and chubby, very rude. I waited for her to go on a break and another lady took over, so very nice, very compassionate and took me right back. They had just put my husband in a large private room, the RN was drawing his blood, the Dr came in got a brief history and within an hour all the tests were back and Larry was ready to go hone. The Doctor was great, never rushed, the nurse was awesome. The ER was very crowded. The RT came in to check on Larrys ventilator and she gave me some supplies. Very pleased with how we were treated.

Experiencia fantástica: I came in yesterday with a huge laceration on my leg after hitting a barrel at a Menifee Barrel Race. I was bleeding a lot. I want to thank the whole ER Staff, but especially P.A. Rachel and her assistant Jason who stapled that huge split in my skin together! Today, my primary care physician was very impressed with their work!! Also, I have had very little pain. And, you all let my husband park my horse/trailer in the ER entry until I was discharged. God Bless you all for a job well done. ❤️

Experiencia fantástica: I gave birth to my son here and I received the best care. The nurses that took care of my son and myself were excellent. One in particular was extra vigilant when he started spitting up brown stuff. From my experience, the night shift nurses went above and beyond. It is also a beautiful hospital.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been to the ER twice in the last 4 years. The first time I was extremely dehydrated from the flu. They had fluids in me within an hour! Came in again last Saturday when I sliced my thumb open with a chef's knife. Patched up within an hour! The staff from check in to discharge were amazing and courteous!

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely loved all the nursing staff in labor & delivery ! This hospital I give 5 stars for all the staff, cleanliness, helpfulness, and being on top of everything. I was induced and then ending up having a c section, this is my first child. Every nurse was So nice and always there for me. The RN Jessica worked very hard in helping me and being attentive and making sure I was okay. I never would've guessed I would have been so well taken care of at a hospital. I highly recommend delivering here if you have the opportunity also you get chocolate covered strawberries, martinellis & a meal for you and your man after your deliver!

At first I wasn’t too sure about delivering my daughter here since I am new to the area but I am so glad she was born here! The nurses were AMAZING and so caring! Especially the RN that helped deliver my baby ..Emily she was so supportive! I wouldn’t understand why anyone would not have a pleasant experience here the staff is great.

Experiencia fantástica: I was treated at Loma Linda emergency room back in in September 2017. I have nevermind had such a wonderful experience in a E.R.. when I arrived I was in extreme pain. They took me back to triage, took my vitals and before they even took blood a doctor walked in, examined me, ordered blood tests and an MRI. Next thing I knew the nurse walked in and took my blood and inserted an IV. I have veins that collapse but he had it done before I knew he started. The tech from radiology took me for my MRI. When we were done he took me to the hallway because there were no rooms available. The doctor came by and told me he was waiting for the results and asked me about my pain. I told him it was i told him it was a 10. A few minutes latter a nurse came and gave me a shot. Just as my pain was subsiding the doctor was back. He told me I had diverticulitis explained what it was, what i needed to do and how to avoid another flare up. The nurse came and brought me papers about my condition, a list of all my current medications and 3 new prescriptions. I was there a total of 3 hours. The staff was more then courteous, they made me feel more then comfortable. I felt like they really cared about me. I don't think I have ever dad an experience in a E.R. that they were more attentive to my pain and my needs. I live in Hemet and heard so many horror stories about the E.R. there that's why I thought I would go to Loma Linda. That was the best decision I could have made. I have already recommended the E.R. at Loma Linda Hospital to a few people. Thank you to all the staff that attended me.
