Experiencia fantástica: Activa is great place to have therapy. They take the time to listen to you and adjust your situation as the sessions go forward. They did an excellent job with my hip issue.

Experiencia negativa: I made an appt for a tmj massage and asked price for non insurance and was told it will be $175. I make the appt a week or so in advance and the day of get bombarded via texts saying it's $225 for an evaluation and i can buy a package of 10 for $1750 to be used in 90 days. They're not the best at communicating before hand so keep that in mind

Experiencia fantástica: I’ll start off by saying Activa Physical Therapy was an excellent choice. Staff was knowledgeable, experienced and professional. I was In a bad car accident last year that resulted in a broken shoulder and also a stroke. I originally went to Shirley Ryan for most of my rehab but I still required work hardening therapy. Activa’s staff helped with restrengthening my atrophied muscles and helping the dexterity in my hand. I can’t thank them enough for helping get me closer to my normal self. I would highly recommend this place for your physical therapy needs!

Experiencia negativa: Pyramid scheme. Claimed I needed microfracture surgery. Disclosed medical information to local surgeon. Surgeon wanted to do order an mri and perform microfracture surgery after a 2 minute evaluation. Was probably getting a kick back from this group. Got a 2nd opinion. Turned out to be a tendon injury. Several years later still running and thankful that I didn’t trust these buffoons and fall for this hoodwinkery.

He listened to my feedback and we tried different approaches to solve my issue. After several iterations we found an approach that worked for me. After years of being in constant pain I didn’t think I’d get better. Then I worked with Kevin for 8 weeks and was able to run again without pain. Grateful for your help!

When I first joined Activa, I was unable to properly groom myself and struggled with doing otherwise simple activities such as climbing up stairs and getting up from a seated position. One of the biggest differences between Activa and all the others is that Activa doesn't follow a cookie cutter approach to a patient's therapy. They use a more hands on, individualized approach that addresses the needs one has. I found this comforting and worthwhile. I also noticed how Kevin, my PT at Activa, adapted different modalities to address my shoulder issues...and I have a TOUGH case going here with several different things going on at once. I would not hesitate to use them again and have plans to start my lower back and hip therapy with Kevin and Activa again soon. Highly Recommended!!!

Experiencia fantástica: This is the fourth time we have gone to Activa for pt - twice for myself and twice for my daughter. The staff is kind, knowledgeable, encouraging, and enthusiastic. My daughter recently finished about 6-8 weeks of therapy after a bad ankle sprain. Kevin was her physical therapist and he did a wonderful job with her. Activa will always be our first choice!

Experiencia fantástica: The team at Activa did a great job trying to strengthen and relieve me of my shoulder pain. I went to three shoulder surgeons and the 3rd Dr. Recommended Activa for therapy. Kevin had a wonderful plan to take care of my pain and fatigue. I went 3 times a week for 6 weeks but sadly I still have shoulder pain. I have small tears in my rotater cuffs of my left and right shoulders. Thank you to Kevin and Elijah for all the hard work they put in for me. I will definitely return if needed.

His communication is impeccable and from consultation he instilled me with confidence that we would work out a routine individual to me and my needs. I have fibromyalgia and physical exertion is extremely difficult and harsh on my body. Very few people know anything about this illness and how to combat it but, RD knows it very well. We started with a base control routine and developed it over the next few appointments. He made everything very easy for me with quick response and constantly within a simple email for aid. It truly feels like he cares and wants to help, simple as that and, with his immense knowledge, he has already helped so much! Thank you, RD!

At four weeks post injury, I was still walking with a limp and after going through my primary doctor with not a lot of advice on how to recover, I was defeated thinking I wasn't going to run again. RD at Activa changed all of that! RD took the time to give me a full evaluation and worked with me for 4 weeks on a plan that would help me get ready for my next race. Experiencia fantástica: Activa Naperville was recommended by my Ortho Surgeon for pre-surgery therapy. Activa is a small boutique type office where you get individualized care. It is not one of those large corporate facilities where you feel like cattle while getting PT. I have never received PT when there were more than 3 patients. I have never felt rushed or crowded and a staff member has always been at my side. In fact, most of the time it is a PT, and an assistant for each patient. Cyril, RD, Andrew, Dom and Dilva are amazing. They all studied my case, treat me as though I am their only patient and make me feel extremely comfortable throughout my "pre-hab." I will continue with Activa after surgery as well.

He listens to your input and adjusts treatment accordingly. Also his knowledge and experience allowed for a good patient/ therapist experience. RD and Andrew did the best job . They just not treat you well but also are considerate and are willing to help even after your therapy is completed if you might have any questions regarding your issues. Will recommend them anyday This is my second time reviewing them. This time the problem was lumbar spondylitis pain & Sciatica ( which was very bad) . This time Kevin helped me to reduce my inflammation. He is wonderful at his work. After the first session I already knew i am in good hands. I am 85-90% ( which i think is a good range)out of pain. Experiencia fantástica: I saw R D Paranal for BPPV Vertigo when I was at my worst . He was very knowledgeable and gentle for the very intense Epley Maneuver to reverse it. He is a very patient and kind person. Go see him if you have vertigo.

Experiencia negativa: While the staff is very friendly at this centre, the owner (Samir) is very rude to his customers especially when you have questions about billing. He encourages his staff to give wrong quote to their customers and end up saying that you will have to deal with the insurance. He doesn't even have the patience to talk nicely with his customers.

The entire staff at Activa are very friendly and high energetic even during the last appointment of the day. The excellent combination of manual therapy, mobility and strengthening exercises are the biggest factors for me to write this review. In short if you have musculoskeletal related issues Cyril and Andrew are great therapist options as they have both have worked on me.

I had done other PT with limited results and then found Activa, where they took a hands on approach, breaking down the scar tissue, increasing mobility, etc. After a few months, I am AMAZED that I'm pretty much pain free, running again and not feeling so old anymore :)...a great place, great people and great at what they do!

When I tore my ACL, I was worried about the recovery process because you hear that it is a very long process. To make matters worse, I was heading to Italy in 3 months, but my doctor HIGHLY recommended Activa. He ensured that if I went to this specific place that I will be more than ready to go to Italy with no problem. In the moment, I couldn’t understand why. Since I completed my physical therapy, I now understand why. The Activa team is caring and understanding about how their patients feel. They focus on such simple exercises that make a huge difference in the recovery process. The faculty is just one big happy family and I am welcomed everyday with smiles. I have never felt so at home at an organization before like Activa.

I was rehabbing after ACL, MCL, and meniscus tears and continuously improved my range of motion and stiffness under their care. Experiencia fantástica: I originally found this place by a basic google search and I'm so happy I did. I had sharp shoulder pains for months while I played volleyball. I had iced and rested it with no success. The pain always returned. I was feeling pretty defeated by the time I came here. Sessions are about an hour with a mix of stretching, strengthening and massage-type work. After going twice a week for about a month I can say my shoulder is so much better. Playing volleyball no longer hurts! Many thanks to for all their help!

Both my issues got much better compare to before. Every staff here is very professional and nice. They tailor the treatment plan to your personal situation and your goal(i.e. do you want to be able to handle your old workout routine). I feel they deeply care about every patient. Now they are my friends and it’s so hard to say goodbye after this long journey. I miss them already!

PT Assistant Jennifer and PT Techs Daisy and Kevin were equally thorough and professional in every way. But here's what sets them apart: They somehow made going to physical therapy enjoyable! Yeah, it was hard sometimes - it's physical therapy, after all - but I actually looked forward to my appointments, the ever-increasing challenges given me, and the positive, encouraging energy that fills the office. Activa Physical Therapy is outstanding in every way, and I have no doubt they saved and extended my career as a police officer, and have been a key part of a healthy life.
