Experiencia fantástica: After getting shoulder surgery this past March on my labrum, I chose to complete my physical therapy at IPM Naperville after only 1 Groupon dry needling visit with Dr. Jon. I had been experiencing shoulder pain and mobility issues for over a year, had worked with 2 other physical therapists as well as 1 sports medicine doctor and for the first time I felt like the doctor actually listened to my story and asked questions about my experience. I worked with Dr. Jon and Angelica throughout the entirety of my physical therapy treatment. With some sarcasm, jokes, and story telling/listening, they made it enjoyable. My recovery has been very smooth as well. Very grateful for IPM Naperville and sad that I am moving out of state. :(

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve struggled with knee pain since 2017 from my time in the Marine Corps as a rifleman. Years of intense physical and tactical training in tough terrain, plus falls and constant impact, left my knees in bad shape. I’d often feel sharp, piercing pain right under my kneecaps, even when I was resting. It reached the point where everyday activities, like sitting or driving, could trigger, throbbing, swelling, and chronic pain. I thought I’d have to live with it, even though I’m only 27. I couldn’t run outside or play a simple game of soccer without paying for it with pain the next day. After coming in and meeting Dr. Jon, he laid out a treatment plan that truly addressed the gravity of my injuries. He explained that it would be a process, but one worth doing right. I’ve been receiving a series of treatments—stim, ultrasound, cupping, leg stretches, hot/cold packs, and, notably, acupuncture. I’ve had over 15 sessions, going twice a week, and although I do still feel pain at times, I can confidently say my knees have been improving. The pain has decreased significantly to the point where I can go a couple days without noticing it. I've completed a series of physical therapies in the past but I felt no significant change. Now, I can drive an hour in the car and not feel constant discomfort. I can sit down in my office and not have to stretch or extend my legs every 30 min. I can walk a couple blocks on concrete without paying the price the next day. While I’m still easing back into things, I’ve started slow light jogs again, and Dr. Jon is keeping a close watch on how my knees respond. He encourages taking it slow but is open to seeing how I handle more activity. I couldn’t be happier with my results so far. I know it’s a journey back to 100%, but this team has done more than I could have hoped to get me back on track. Thank you all—I'm finally enjoying my days again, without pain.

After moving to Naperville (and sleeping on an air mattress for two weeks waiting for our furniture to arrive) I had so much neck and back pain. I’ve been to various chiropractors throughout the years and was ready to give up. I was living with pain for so long I thought it was normal. Through personalized physical therapy, cupping, dry needling, and strengthening exercises, I finally see and feel improvement. Now that I have completed my standard routine of going 2x a week, I schedule my appointments every 3 weeks for maintenance. I’ve learned stretches and tricks to alleviate pain and feel so much better. Dr. Jon even helped with ankle pain and headaches (something I didn’t even realize a chiropractor could handle) and it has been truly life changing. Along with great care, the entire team has such warm and welcoming personalities. I’m pretty sure I spent 90% of my time laughing with them in there as I went through my treatment. Experiencia fantástica: Thank you Dr. Jon for helping Nicholas feel better than he has in over six months! His first semester of college turned out to be an excruciating experience due to costochondritis, a shoulder injury, and other joint pain. While he did well academically, the chronic pain took a physical and mental toll on him and he was considering taking his second semester off for medical reasons. I saw his winter break as a month long opportunity to get him help. His first 3 days home, I took him to numerous doctors including a GP, a rheumatologist, and pain specialist and truly lost faith in our healthcare system as none of them seemed to truly listen or be willing to help. At every turn I needed to advocate for him as I checked off boxes trying to figure out how to help him. While the bloodwork we had done showed no red flags, we also had no real help with relieving his pain or helping him heal. When I found that medical article online describing how chiropractic adjustments, physical therapy, and cupping helped someone suffering with costochondritis for over two years it gave me so much hope. Thank you for being willing to read that article and for providing those therapies! You and your staff are amazing! The physical therapy sessions he had were never rushed. Though they lasted about an hour he seemed to enjoy them as I could hear him happily bantering with you and his trainer. You even managed to put him at ease during his cupping sessions! I just wish he had more than 3 weeks but even in that short time you got him feeling well enough to go back to college! Hopefully with the exercises you gave him to do on his own he will continue to heal from his injuries! As his mother, I am grateful for your healing touch and welcoming manner. Thank you!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been dealing with severe Achille's tendonitis from running for a few months. I was doing all the stretching and strengthening exerciss that should have. cured it, but it kept getting worse to the point that I was limping when I was walking and having pain at rest. I had to completely stop running for almost 2 months. I thought I would never be able to run again. I gave this place a try and Wow. Afte 2 sessions, I was able to go out and run almost a mile pain free (doesn't sound like much, but huge improvement) Definitely recommend

Experiencia fantástica: I've been working with Dr John and Angelica for 6 weeks now. I went in with a tight lower back from golf and walking and everyday life. I hadn't been to a chiropractor in 12 years. Immediately I could tell a difference in the approach. It's not just the norm crack and go.They are working with me to strengthen and loosen my tight areas. I already have seen great improvement. I can do things in my golf swing easier and more consistently than I have for years. I can now clear my left side so my right side can fire through the ball much easier and with less stress. Love the approach and the results and it will be something I build on going forward. They are teaching me how to do it without being in the office all the time in pain. We will get to a maintenance routine where I do most of the work at home and see the team for tune-ups. Extremely happy!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I had foot surgery on my left foot and was referred to Dr. Jonathan Polcyn for physical therapy at Integrated Physical Medicine of Naperville. My foot surgery consisted of a plantar plate repair, bunionectomy, wandering hammertoe on the second toe, and the third toe was also a hammertoe previously broken. At first Dr. Jon started out slowly to protect what my surgeon repaired and was very adamant about following his orders. To start out, Dr. Jon worked on the toes involved with my repair. He worked on them with movement, as they were very stiff following surgery. He applied ultrasound therapy and electrode therapy for healing, and cold compresses for swelling and discomfort. He advanced me, only after he knew that it was time to do so. He then started me on improving my strength and balance knowing it would help my quality of life and help protect the reconstruction of my foot. I still had pain in the outer side of my left foot due to a tendon issue, so Dr. Jon used dry needling therapy. It was amazing! After about 3 treatments, I could feel much less pain and eventually, the pain stopped. Everyone I have been with through this journey has been awesome! I'm going to miss them! Jamie is so great to talk to, and she works around my schedule which is a great help! Dr. Jon explains what he is doing and why it will help you. He has an uplifting personality and brings so much humor into the whole setting that it makes you a little sad when you're getting close to the end of your adventure. I highly recommend physical therapy, with Dr. Jonathan M. Polcyn at INTEGRATED PHYSICAL MEDICINE of Naperville. He has shown me how important it is to keep active.

Experiencia fantástica: If you are debating over which physical therapy place to join STOP, CHOOSE THIS ONE! Dr. Jon is amazing! In the beginning of the summer I didn't think I could every play softball again. Two months with IPM and I am heading back to college ready to play. He provides you with a variety of exercises, relaxing stretches, as well as cupping, scrapping, needling, adjustments and great overall care. I am honeslty really upset that I have to move, just because I doubt I will ever find a physical therapist as good as he is.

From there on Dr. Jon was wonderful on listening to how adjustments/therapy was working and adjusted it to my needs! Including dry needling that made wonders. Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Jon is not your average chiropractor! As a woman who is getting older, I found myself struggling with many different small aches and pains (shoulder, ankle, elbow, lower back, and neck). The idea of going to traditional physical therapy and focusing on one area at a time was not appealing, as it would most likely have been a year’s worth of therapy. I am so glad I found IPM and Dr. Jon! Their approach to rehab is patient-specific, allowing me to focus on the area that was the most bothersome each session. I received a comprehensive program of exercises and stretches, as well as individualized manual therapy such as cupping, scraping, stim, heat, and chiropractic adjustments. After a few months most of my pain is gone and I am able to come back for treatment as needed. This is a great office for people who are active and need some help with injuries so they can stay active.

Experiencia fantástica: Our family first found IPM and Dr Jon when my 8 yr old son had a sudden and scary hip issue last year. Dr Jon took such great care of him and made him feel very comfortable and at ease. This year I had a neck injury and have been dealing with a knee injury, and Dr Jon has worked so well with me through both of those. The office is clean, welcoming and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend IPM to anyone needing PT or chiropractic care.

Experiencia fantástica: In November 2021, I injured my back, while carrying out my work duties; without much guidance as to what to do or where to go, I remembered that I had a flyer, from a local chiropractor who was at my last race. In need of both answers and relief, I took that first step and called to make an appointment. instead of being made to wait multiple days for a spot, Dr Jon made room, seeing me within a couple hours of me calling-- a true sign that not only does he care about his patients but is also passionate about what he does. Jamie, the receptionist, is absolutely wonderful: making any length of waiting pass with ease and will do whatever she can to make your visit as accommodating, easy and enjoyable as possible. Being an athletic person, who is always moving, I was a little nervous about starting physical therapy, at first: 'I'm strong, how did I let this happen to me...are they going to know how to adapt (challenge) me...?' That thought process was short lived. There is no tiptoeing around with Dr Jon: he's straight forward and honest with everything, from where you are, currently, to his plan of approach with treatment. Dr Jon is all about all-around treatment: challenging you (he was even able to challenge me), while knowing when far is far enough, and getting to know you as a person, not just a 'client,' and integrating that into your treatment. Dr Jon is a well-rounded professional, to where I can't see myself going anywhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: Regular physical therapy locations seem to drag out your progress. Dr. Jon allowed our visits to be somewhat collaborative, allowing me to push myself with each visit, but not doing too much where it would hinder my progress. I know I'm not every patient, but the way I walked into the office on my first visit, I thought PT was going to be a waste of time. After the first week, I was walking normal and now I'm jumping, which surprised my ortho Dr on my follow up visit. Definitely recommend anyone who wants to get true progress to come here.

Currently 39 about to be 40 in a month or so - from my early twenties I have been dealing with a sever case of anxiety - anxiety to the point that it was affecting the way I was living my life in a negative way. My point of concern really hit me when I started to get really bad head tremors, it got so bad that it was difficult to relax, be social and overall just live a basic life. Obviously, not being a doctor of any sort, I thought that made I had a brain tumor or something, after an MRI and seeing a few different doctors, they told me that I had sever anxiety and I would need to be on medication. I have nothing against taking meds, but these meds were definitely not for me as they made me into a zombie. After doing research on my own, changing lifestyles was to be a huge help with people with anxiety. It definitely did help and I did see a lot of improvements, but te head tremors were relentless. The best way to explain it - it felt like I had a lot of tension and pressure that needed to be released. After dealing with this for so many years I was willing to try just about anything. My cousins wife who works for Dr. Jon told me to schedule an appt to see if there's anything that he could do. Best decision I've made in many many years. Complete game changer - even though it didn't happen over night, but over time I have started seeing, feeling less anxious and tremors have completely stopped. It's hard to explain the feeling, but it's short of amazing. SERIOUSLY. FOR ANYONE THAT HAS ANXIETY ISSUES - I HIGHLY RECOMMEND A VISIT - TRUST THE PROCESS. Not only is Dr Jon good people, but his expertise helped me for the best. Truly awesome.

Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely loved coming here. People usually dread going to physical therapy, but I looked forward to my sessions! Dr. Jon and Jamie made it great. Jamie made the experience so convenient since she always made it her top priority to accommodate me whenever I was available. Whenever I was waiting, she would ask me about school and talk to me. She is super relatable and is a great person to converse with. If I ever had questions on anything, Jamie always had answers! She is very helpful and speedy with her work. Dr. Jon is very honest, professional, and gives a clear-cut picture of the treatment. He focuses on being proactive in his treatment and give great importance to small details. He made an effort to actually get to know me as a person. He would remember whatever we spoke about and would bring it up during my next session. In one instance, I told him country music wasn't my favorite, so he asked me what music I liked and always played that music on the speakers whenever I came for a session. In addition to that, his treatment is personalized and provides a good challenge. In one month with his care, I was able to walk out with ease. Thank you guys for making physical therapy fun!

He fixed my neck in less than 2 weeks and then started working on my overall mobility & flexibility. I stop in 1 to 2 times a week for some PT and back adjustments to keep me moving. Experiencia fantástica: Apr 6th 2021 I had my 2nd Knee Replaced on my Rt leg. Hines VA did a Great Job and I was afforded the Opportunity to use a Physical Therapist closer to where I live! Now keep in mind this was my 9th Surgery on the same leg. As such I have had PT since the 70's and have been through a number of different methods, procedure etc.... So I was very particular in my process of choosing as I knew what I was looking for....... After reviewing Businesses, Reading and Learning about them and asking a lot of people, I found IPM through a number of Friends that had utilized their services in the past and were very happy with the results. As such I started PT at IPM in the 3rd Week after Surgery and of course it was not easy getting back on my feet. However, with the Very Experienced Staff of IPM and their resolve to help me regain my functionality, together we developed a plan of action and put things into Motion! LOL, Literally. Keep in mind as an individual I was totally committed to the process we agreed upon and as a result I am at least 2 to 3 months ahead of any VA Measure of Recovery!!! I cannot thank Dr Jon and his staff enough for his continued efforts for my recovery and diligent follow-through to make my life easy!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I've been a chronic migraine sufferer since childhood. I was so sick with the daily headaches when I went to see Dr. Jon two months ago, that I knew it was going to take a while to feel better. Dr. Jon started me in a program including exercises, massage and manual therapy, and mechanical traction and adjustments, which it sounds like a lot, but to my surprise, my headaches started to decrease in intensity and frequency. I am so very pleased I got out of four of my prescription medicines, and of not having to take painkillers every day.

Experiencia fantástica: I sprained my left knee a few months ago while at work. After living with the pain for a few months I finally decided to seek treatment. I ended up at IPM seeing Dr Jon after being hearing many great things from friends. Within a couple weeks of being treated by Dr Jon and his staff the pain began to disappear. Between the instructed home rehab and the in clinic treatment I am now pain free. Even months after being cleared and not having to return for check ups I still continued to do the at home work outs and the pain has never returned. 10 out 10 recommended to everyone. Dr Jon and his staff are fun and accommodating. I never once dreaded going in because they always made it fun!

Experiencia fantástica: I first started going to IPM at their New Lenox location about 8 years ago. Dr Jon, Dr Scott and their staff have helped me with everything from debilitating neck/back pain to headaches to muscle spams/injuries to general maintenance, also before, during and post pregnancy. They’ve helped my husband get back to work after a nasty dirt bike accident. Strengthened my daughters twisted ankle. They adjusted all of my kids since just a few weeks after birth, keeping us all healthy and active. Best part is not only are they good at what they do and take a lot of time to perfect it but they are honest about the ability to treat each patient from the moment you walk in the door. No surprises. I won’t go to another clinic other than IPM.

I have done some stretches both there and at home, and have been adjusted a couple times. My back feels great! The whole team is awesome there and treats you like a member of their family. Experiencia fantástica: I cannot say enough good things about Dr Jon and Kathy. I started coming to IPM in early 2020 for PT on my hip flexors. From the initial eval, Dr Jon was very patient and informative with his treatment plan. He's knowledgeable and careful with his approach, and while it may sometimes make me sore, I always come out feeling better in the long run. His P.O.T with me centers around strengthening to reduce/remove pain, not just managing it--and my hip pain has already begun decreasing. It's insane how noticeable the difference is. His treatment plans also make sense, which I think is very important. You can see his point of view in knowing he has your best interest at heart. Dr Jon's personality is very honest and upfront. He's very easy to get along with, and I have 100% trust in him with my care. He is also one of the doctors that cares more about his patients well-being than their wallet. He works you hard, but within your limits, to make sure you are able to get out of PT and [hopefully] not come back. That really stuck with me. All in all, Dr Jon and his receptionist Kathy are amazing individuals and I always look forward to working with them.

Instantly, I made connections with the doctors and their entire staff. Since I was able to view this office from a patient stand point & get to work “behind the scenes,” I wanted to share a review for anyone looking for chiropractic care or physical therapy. I can never say enough good things about them. The company is growing with multiple locations, but the feeling is still like family. The doctors genuinely care about each person that walks through the door. They care about their staff & the environment they spend their days in. They are knowledgeable, kind, fun & professional. I am now a stay at home mom since having my kids a few years ago, but we will always go to IPM for care & I hope they’re hiring when I’m ready to get back on the employment saddle!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to IPM on and off for several years to address multiple injuries that I had sustained while in the military and are now creeping up on me as I age. Of course, I always wait until I am in so much pain that I can barely function, but I am always welcomed back with warm smiles by a friendly team of doctors and therapists. I think the two things that I value most about IPM are; firstly there is terrific continuity between doctors, so I know that if my regular doctor (Dr. Jon) is not there the day that I go in, all of the other doctors are read in to my situation and are very capable of providing an excellent level of service and secondly, once they are able to get me past the point that I am hurting so badly that I cannot do therapy, they start working on the root cause of why I am having the pain...which with me has been challenging to say the least. On my first visit, I was greeted promptly by a courteous and professional office staff. Once the paperwork was completed, I was immediately taken into a consultation with Dr. Jon Polcyn. He was professional, paid great attention to detail and listened to my concerns. He explained all treatment options and clearly outlined the treatment plans and expected results. He wasted no time in initiating treatment and turned me over to his therapists to begin the process of addressing the problem issues. Every member of his staff from the office to the therapists were polite, genuine, courteous and compassionate! They take care of your needs and recognize that your time is important. It’s nice to know you won’t have to wait once you arrive. I wouldn’t even consider going anywhere else! They provide a comprehensive level of care that is unmatched! I highly recommend them!

I am an avid runner and struggled with IT band issues and his skill and dedication to his patients helped me not only at the time, but he educated me on how to prevent further issues and injury. IPM is dedicated to their patients in a way that is rare anymore. I love the 1 on 1 time with Dr. Jon and Dr. Scott and their ability to remember everyone's family members, hobbies, and interests. By happenstance we met at an event they were working and since then have been taking care of our whole family for years. The employees were always caring, and when you walk through the door you feel like family. They’ve always taken care of their patients and I continue to refer IPM to this day.
