I'm an athlete and luckily i have an athletic sort managing me. Yet, I can hear what's going on around me, and they're spot on no matter your background. Extraordinarily competent and able management, they have me progressing beautifully. Highly recommended.. and i'd have no issue sharing criticism. They're on their game!

Experiencia fantástica: I've been going to PTSMC for a few weeks now. I'm very impressed. They're friendly; I am greeted by everyone when I walk in. The gym is immaculate, and the equipment is in excellent condition. My therapist is Dan. He is great! Always mindful of what causes me pain and works to minimize it while still working to help me make progress. He always explains each exercise so I know why I'm doing it and how it will help me. He's attentive so I don't spend more than a few minutes after I finish my sets before he's back to set me up for the next exercise. I'm being treated for a back problem, and I'm making progress already in minimizing pain and improving function. The aides are also attentive and knowledgeable about the exercises. All Dan has to do is name an exercise, and the aides get me set up and working ( I work with Lexi most often). I've had to do a lot of physical therapy in my lifetime, and I'm very impressed with PTSMC. I highly recommend them.

The staff's expertise is obvious and they always make sure that clients understand the purpose of their exercises and treatments. Progress is carefully noted and tweaks are made as necessary to enhance success. And as an added bonus, the place has a true "feel good" vibe - everyone who works there is upbeat and positive which makes the PT experience a real pleasure. I couldn't be more satisfied!

Something I do not believe I have ever received anywhere else.They're very friendly and knowledgeable at what they do. I was feeling much better well before my authorized therapy sessions. I was comfortable with them discharging me and happy that they did not take advantage of my insurance company and make me come to all the appointments that I felt I did not need. Honesty and integrity are the words that come to mind. It is a fun and friendly atmosphere. Not that I look forward to physical therapy, but I will definitely looking forward to going back to Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Centers.

Experiencia negativa: Had a terrible experience in New Milford. Not only did I have to call 5 times to get an appointment because the person apparently never received my paperwork, which my doctor insisted they sent over several time or the person was never available. Fast forward to me finally getting an appointment. I am 47 years old and this was NOT my first PT appointment. I called my medical insurance and asked ahead of time of time what my co-pay was. They said $30. The office manager got snotty with my after I filled out my paperwork and insisted I pay $50. I refused and told her if I was in fact wrong she could bill me. I called my insurance after my appointment AGAIN and it was still $30. My appointment was ok..the only reason I was there was because I have a terrible neck injury from the police running into my car at 80 mph at 18 years old while trying to apprehend a criminal. I am in a good amount of pain daily and will need to get my neck fused someday. My medical insurance refused my neurologists rec for a MRI. So to PT I went to get exercises and a massage I have gotten a million times for apparently 3x a week at $50 a pop. $600 a MONTH like anyone of normal means could afford that! When in fact it was supposed to be $360. I never went back and the office manager sent the $20 for the first visit to collections. Classy.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to the Putnam, CT facility for the third time for different reasons. I went after a shoulder replacement, after a knee replacement and now after a fall where I injured the replaced shoulder and my back. The technicians have always been very pleasant to work with. They always care about the patient and do everything they can to help to make them better. The staff are friendly also and make you feel like someone that needs their help not only like it is a job for them.

I developed last month tendinitis of my right hamstring and started PT several weeks ago. I have already experienced excellent improvement and am hopeful I will be ready for the trip! The center and its people are highly professional, competent and unfailingly friendly, and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for PT services. I have observed people across a variety of conditions and needs, with everyone having tailored, appropriate experiences for recovery. Dan has been my primary physical therapist, who is excellent, but the individuals in the group work very effectively as a team, pitching in as necessary.

The Physical Therapists, all of them, have a profound level of confidence that as bad as your injury is, they can and will get you as close to being whole. We as human have a delicate psyche, we want to take it as it comes and live with the consequences. My three PT Doctors reach me on the inside with words of encouragement and inspiration. Experiencia fantástica: The 6-week sessions of treatment that I received at the New Milford PTSMC essentially cured my rotator cuff impingement complaints. I was assigned a masterful physical therapist named Erica Breive who was very compassionate, patient and pleasant, and who also designed an effective treatment plan tailored for my condition. The facility is fastidiously clean, fresh, and brightly-lit allowing one to easily relax in its comfortable environment. All of the staff members are helpful and appear to function in a group dynamic to assure each patient successfully completes their treatments within their appointment slot. Also, just by casual observation, it appeared that along with Erica, all of the PTSMC staff members clearly are highly-trained practitioners of the art and science of physical therapy. Therefore, I greatly recommend this center to anyone suffering any physical impairment requiring extended therapy.

Facility clean, easily accessible vis elevator and/or stairs. Ample parking spaces available at location. Finished up with foot issues and now ready to begin rotator cuff therapy after surgery on it for repair.

I am regaining strength and freedom of motion related to my lower back that I haven't experienced in a few years (or more). Kailey is attentive, methodical, and always assessing my further physical therapy needs at each visit. I also understand how every exercise builds on the previous one toward specific freedom of mobility goals. My sense is that the entire operation functions similarly in an atmosphere that is clean, welcoming, friendly, and professional.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been battling a sciatic nerve issue and have been working with Brian and Erica for a few weeks with excellent relief and progress. After a recent set back, my protocol had to change. Brian was able to make necessary adjustments and quickly modify what needed to be done to get immediate relief. Most notably, Brian offered to set me up on the traction machine even on my off days before hours just to get me some relief before the day. I have been to other PT places in the past. PTSMC of New Milford to me is on a different level in terms of knowledge, experience and customer service. In the past couple of years, Brian has also worked with both of my children with sports injuries. Every time was an excellent experience. I would not go anywhere else.

I am an avid tennis player and specifically asked for exercises that would not only help with my physical recovery but also specifically for my sports rehabilitation. After 3 weeks of in-house visits, I was able to go on my own and was given a great set of tools to continue improving at home.
