Pivot PT- Newport News (Denbigh)

Experiencia negativa: I liked the people and care at Pivot but the billing is very difficult to understand. The first time I used Pivot I could not understand their billing but the second time I used them, I made note of what I did and the amount of time I was in physical therapy. Each time (aside from the first visit) I did the exact same thing each time yet each visit I was charged a different amount. It did not make sense! I called to ask but was told they could not help me and I needed to call billing. When I called billing, they said I would have to call the pt office. I was told that I was charged according to what was done at the time of my visit where I replied that each visit was exactly the same exercises. I never got an answer, they assume that insurance will not dispute the charges. Very shady.

Experiencia fantástica: Only one appt so far but I’m so happy I picked this location for physical therapy! I interacted with about 5 different staff members in my one hour visit and they all deserve 5 stars. From the receptionist to the physical therapist, they were all friendly and committed to ensuring that I was taken care of. They have an array of well maintained equipment as well as exercise modifications to accommodate many needs.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff at Pivot Denbigh have been amazing. I had knee surgery and the PT after with this group of amazing people was wonderful. All my questions and concerns were taking seriously and answered wihtout fail. I would return here if needed and recommend them to anyone who asks. I will miss seeing them once I am cleared from therapy. Thank Pivot Denbigh for helping me recover quickly!!

Experiencia fantástica: This facility checks all of the boxes. The staff is very friendly, as well as being excellent therapists, and know how to put the patient at ease. The room is kept clean. Their scheduling allows for ample time to each session. I would come again if therapy is needed.

Experiencia positiva: Very nice group of people you don't have the same therapist for you time there they alternate the people. If by chance you're done with the set of exercises they given you someone else will come look at your chart and have you do something else. You truly get the full time of your workout with actually doing what's needed to get back to normal.

Experiencia fantástica: I was sent here for treatment for lower back pain and Sciatica, Ashley who is the manager and head physical therapist, has created a great staff of hands therapist and great receptionists, I was given great care and detailed attention to my therapy, they have timers for exercise duration and you are never left alone during your session. After my session was completed, I had achieved Sciatica relief and increased mobility of my lower back pain. I would recommend this facility for all forms of therapy.

Experiencia fantástica: The workouts and stretches they help me do really helps ease the pain in my knee. I e done physical therapy once before and it wasn’t as effective as Pivots therapy! So thankful for this therapy group.

Experiencia fantástica: The entire staff take a true interest in your Condition and Rehab. They work and supervise your rehab every step of the way. They are quick to correct you during your workouts, in order for you to get the most beneficial outcome from your PT. If the need arises again, this will be my ONLY CHOICE.

Experiencia fantástica: I was in physical therapy for a month before transfer from duval County Florida. After transfer I knew I need to find physical therapist immediately. Came across Pivot by way of google. I'm glad I gave Pivot an opportunity. Pivot therapist had me mobile and lessoned my pain in two sessions. I have several months to go and won't miss any scheduled appointments. Thank you. Highly recommend.

The therapists are all watch out for you and I can say that you are constantly doing some type of therapy and not just sitting there. I highly recommend pivot physical therapy in Denbigh and I look forward to continuing my therapy for about another 4 weeks

Experiencia fantástica: I can honestly say that this location of PIVOT is excellent. In every area. Reception, therapists and PT Assistants are all professional, personable, efficient and knowledgeable. I’ve recommended this group to many friends.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a full ACL replacement in May 2019. I started PT 1 week after the surgery and Pivot on Denbigh Blvd. Bree was very attentive and immediately started me on a program to recover as quickly as my body would allow. She was constantly adjusting my movements and exercises to strengthen the muscles around my knee while also working on improving my mobility. I am happy to say that after 6 months of rehab I feel as good as I possibly could given my age. I have been back at the gym for several months under Bree's guidance and my knee is stronger now than it has ever been. The staff at Pivot is fun, friendly, and very knowledgeable. The facility is nice and very convenient and the office staff is an absolute pleasure to be around. I would easily recommend Pivot Physical Therapy.

Experiencia fantástica: I am being seen at this clinic for persistent hip and leg pain from an injury while playing softball in June. My physical therapist has really listened to me about my symptoms and is using her extensive skill sets to help me recover. I’m so much better in just 5 visits and plan to start training to run 5k and 10k again soon. The entire staff at the Denbigh Blvd clinic are very professional and knowledgeable. They treat people with a myriad of diagnoses and are dedicated to helping everyone recover to the fullest.

Experiencia fantástica: I attended pivot for a knee scope recovery. Everyone was extremely friendly and very welcoming. I had Bri who was very focused on a speedy recovery for me as I needed it in order to return to work. The Techs did a great job as well as the front office. Highly recommend this Pivot Location if you are looking for a people who don't just care about your diagnosis but care about you as a whole!

Experiencia fantástica: I am quite happy with the staff at Pivot on Denbigh. I had to have rotator and bicep repair. Ashley is especially kind and encouraging. She also tries to work with your dr. I would highly recommend this facility if you need physical thetapy.

Experiencia fantástica: Our family has been going to this Pivot location for about 13 years for many different problems, ages 15-89 years and everyone has received help from the staff and felt better when their their treatment ended. We've all been treated by Ashley Forest but in my many problems, knee, shoulder, hip, and back I've had many occasions to watch the other therapists and they all are great. The staff has always been super nice in the front office and the techs that assist the therapists and put us through our paces couldn't be nicer. I tried several other places but found this one works best for us.
