Experiencia negativa: Don't go here. It seems nice, but the staff refused to take my mom to the bathroom, didn't clean her for 11 days, and took hours to respond to the nurse button almost every time. Food was cold, and allot of the staff was even colder.

Experiencia fantástica: My sister at just 36 years of age who has had 2 double lung transplants and has cystic fibrosis was brought here from the hospital. She was in respiratory failure and needed more time to heal before going home. Ignite accepted her and we were so grateful. Sarah with hospitality has been absolutely amazing in helping us feel at home and taking care of our family making sure every need or even want has been met. There are 2 nurses that really stand out. one is a day nurse named Miranda and the other is a night nurse named Leslie they both are amazing with my sister. Both nurses go over and beyond to make sure she is taken care of but most importantly their heart is definitely in their job. I’m so grateful for Ignite & their amazing facility.

Experiencia fantástica: I had an absolutely fantastic experience with the medical resort! The atmosphere was incredibly soothing, and the facilities were top-notch. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was in good hands. The staff was attentive and caring, making sure all my needs were met. One of the highlights of my stay was having a Starbucks right on-site. It was such a pleasant surprise to be able to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or a treat from Starbucks while taking in the serene surroundings.

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful staff. Concerned about our comfort and meditation. Having the occasional visit and food gathering out of our room. Nice to get out of our room. Get to visit with other guest at the fancy Hotel. Meet a couple of occupatance become friends. We even played some board games. Learned one lived about a mile from our home. The therapist were outstanding , knew there job and what training needed to get use to goals and levels of accomplishments. Actually enjoyed the time spent with them. Thank you Brandy and Pultin.

I met goals with my balance and was encouraged to use my cain with the aid of weight training to improve my balance. The staff are all hands on and listened when it came to my healthcare choices. Experiencia fantástica: It's hard to remember all the names but I can shout out both the Brooklyn's, Candice, Shelbie, Anna, and Sarah. Ignite Norman is a wonderful team, everyone is so carring and really listens to what I need. They stayed on top of all my appointments. The Glow Spa was a luxury to have and helped me feel more like myself. The housekeepers Barbora and Chris always kept a smile on my face and told jokes, they alone are worth the stay! I highly recommend this facility!

Experiencia fantástica: I was at Ignite for 16 days. I progressively got better. The nurses and aided were so helpful and responsive. They listened to concerns and responded in a timely manner. The housekeeping staff were great. They mopped my floors and cleaned the bathrooms daily. CeCe the wound care nurse took care of my incisions and took out the staples with no pain and in a timely manner The PT and OT staff helped me every day to get stronger so I could go home as soon as possible The hospitality coordinator Sarah was sp helpful. She listened to be; she visited every day and asked if there was anything I needed. The doctor and the PA were knowledgeable and caring and responsive. I ate my meals in the dining room so I could look out the window at the birds The dietary department brought my food there. Everyone there was kind and caring and wanting what else they could do to make my stay as safe and healing as possible.

Experiencia fantástica: This facility is a no brainer! Everybody is helpful and attinive to my healing. The staff work from the heart and are always timely with assisting my needs. The laundry was so helpful and got my cloths back quickly. Therapy helped me to regain strength with walking and encoraged me when I couldn't see the light. So thankful for Ignite. I want to say thank you to everyone for all the help they gave me!

Mike with therapy always brought a smile to my face and gave me challenges to better my physical therapy experience. All the staff checked on me and checked if I needed anything. This facility needs to always keeps up the good work with the love and kindness they have.

Experiencia fantástica: The Glow spa was was fabulous! Ambur made me feel more like myself with a new cut and color. Therapy made me feel safe and secure in reganging my strength. Angie and Mandie treated me so kindly. Robin with transport was friendly and always talked to me during my trips to the doctors office. Brent with dietary always got me cranberry juice every meal. Such a fabulous enviroment to be in.

Experiencia fantástica: I enjoyed the facility and all they had to offer. With the care I reced from the wound care nurse, CC, I was able to heal and work more with PT. Mandy and Angie gave me obtainable goals and listened to what I needed day by day. This facility is a light and every one truly cares. I would recommend this facility and care to anyone. The director of Hospitality Sarah even helped celebrate my 42nd anniversary with my husband with a tasty steak dinner!

Experiencia fantástica: Ignite provided exceptional care. Our loved one is in her early 50’s and she had concerns about going to Ignite. Once there she thrived! The various therapies they gave her built her physically, mentally, and emotionally. The staff are patient, kind, and care. They helped connect our family with resources that made the transition home successful. This helps prevent relapse, I am sure many of you experience chronically Ill go in and out of the hospital- particularly in the winter months. Ignite helped us interrupt that cycle by providing a strategy once home. Thank you Ignite and shout out to Amber who was hands down amazingly caring!!!

She received excellent care from the kind and compassionate staff. Sharon mentioned she had little time to visit due to her busy schedule of therapies. Sharon would recommend Ignite to her friends in need of rehabilitation from a injury.

Experiencia fantástica: I visited the Norman location to help my family decide where to place my aunt. Even though this specific Ignite Medical Resort wouldn’t be helping my family, they were so accommodating and helpful. Upon entering, I was greeted by a kind lady and a Starbucks bistro. The young lady that gave me a tour of that facility was knowledgeable and patient with my questions. The rehab room had an actual kitchen and bathroom to use as part of therapy to show patients how to work with their limitations! Amber and Anna, thank you for easing my mind in such a stressful time.

Experiencia fantástica: I am able to leave the Norman Ignite facility after two weeks of help getting me back on my feet and moving around again following a couple of surgeries and a stay in the hospital. I am back to where I wanted to be, thanks to the wonderful folks here. Throughout my stay everyone has been so nice and helpful. Food and facilities are superb, but it is the greet attitude and experience of all the folks here that make this a great rehab facility. If ever again I am faced with leaving a hospital not completely capable of going home, I’m hoping that they have a room for me here.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been in the ignite facility four about two weeks battling Covid. The staff here has been phenomenal. They have been very professional, very personable, very patient, and very caring. They have treated me like a king. I have absolutely no complaints. They have been top notch in every way possible. And I cannot I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for everything that they have been doing for me. From the awful way that I felt a little more than three weeks ago to the way that I feel today has been nothing short of miraculous. And the staff here is the primary reason for that significant change. I cannot I repeat I cannot complement them more for everything that they have done for me. And no I am not being paid for this endorsement. This place is that DAMN GOOD!!!

Experiencia fantástica: My mom has stayed at ignite twice now and both times she's was provided with the best of care. They really went out of their way to make her feel comfortable and cared for. On her last day they gave her a surprise send off as they all lined the halls clapping and cheering her on while she walked out the door. I can't tell you how much it touched my heart to see her face beaming with such joy. They truly are pretty amazing. I am however, told the food could be better lol. Guess u can't win them all‍♀️ but id say they got darn close!!!

Experiencia fantástica: This is my 4th time at ignite. I love all of the workers. The CNA’s are quick on the lights and very compassionate.they are great at what they do. Nurses are great also especially when it is time for meds. Food is tasty. And the therapy is one of the best I have ever had. This is my place to be for rehab. The new addition of Starbucks is the bomb. Also Dr. P is wonderful.

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic staff. I am very impressed with how they are caring for my Dad here so far. He's been in for almost a month and is at this faciity short-term for physical and occupational rehab. His hospital suggested physical therapy, so we chose this one. I've never had experience with a nursing home before. The staff is transparent and keeps you informed about your loved one's status. I was often surprised by the number of times I received calls from the nursing staff whenever Dad fell. He was fine. No injuries. Or if he slipped out of his recliner. I appreciated the calls, but I didn't understand why they needed to call me if there were no injuries. I learned from a former nurse who worked at a nursing home for 10 years that this is standard protocol. She said if I'm receiving these calls, then this facility is doing it right. They were definitely on it when Dad's hemoglobin levels dropped, and they moved quickly to send him to his hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, the VA did not see the seriousness of the condition in the same way. So I told Ignite they could send Dad to a near by hospital as they saw appropriate. Therefore, I am impressed with Ignite's sense of urgency and analysis of a medical condition. The first week Dad was resident he was being assessed medically, ensuring his medications were taken, receiving the right foods. Then they started the therapy. After about a week and a half of therapy, the care plan team contacted me to give me a status on Dad's progress like being able to walk 65 ft using his walker, his ability to dress himself, how long he's able stand before needing assistance and areas he needed to work on. If they felt his goals were not quite met, they requested if they could work with him a little longer. So I was pleased they were willing to do a quality job. The facility is required to give a regular report to the resident's insurance company about the progress of their therapy. Some insurance companies may decide the therapy isn't benefiting the resident and may insist they be discharged, sometimes earlier than when the resident is ready. Which is sad. This can be frustrating for the staff as well when they were just starting to make headway with the resident. I am grateful the VA is allowing Dad the time he needs to properly rehab and approved paying for the remainder of his stay. Kudos to the VA primary care social worker who helped set that up. So this is something you'll want to keep in mind when deciding to send a loved one to a Skilled Nursing Facility for rehab. Medicare will pay for 100 days at any skilled nursing facility. But they only pay 100% of the cost for the first 20 days. Starting day 21 thru 100, you have to pay a $188.50 co-pay...per day. That can add up. Beyond 100 days...well, you're on your own. So you'll need to provide the facility any other insurance during admission, or you can private pay. These guys are great. They also provide speech therapy, including swallowing therapy, as well as other cognitive therapy exercises as well. The staff is very encouraging, helpful and transparent. There is a doctor involved, but because they busy servicing all the patients, you may not necessarily get to talk to that person. But you can always speak to your loved one's nurse or call the care plan team to get an update. I usually receive updates on a call every week from the care plan team. That way I allow the staff to do what they need to do with Dad and give him his time. Of course, you can always visit the resident. But be sure to ask what the visiting protocols are. Ignite is constantly staying on top of COVID protocols. So at this moment in time, I have to make an appointment to visit Dad in the lobby and wear a mask. That's understandable. They're doing their best to protect the residents in the facility. Overall, I've been very well impressed with the staff, the facility. They just finished remodeling, so it looks nice. And there's even a little cafe bar in the front lobby where you can get a Starbucks coffee if you wanted. Highly recommended.

Now my spouse is here and they already have him standing up and taking baby steps, he's only been here 3 days. He loves being here, previous facility he was in was horrible. Thank you Ryan at the Norman Ignite facility for getting my spouse in your facility and getting the correct Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy he's needing to get better .

Experiencia fantástica: The staff on the COVID wing provided excellent care. They are so compassionate and caring. Thank you! Heather, Nikki, Bree D and all the staff!!! I was a patient there from November 15-30. The entire staff was very friendly and worked so hard to take care of everyone. I witnessed the kindness and compassion even to those who were more difficult. From the nurses and aides including Allie, Carmen, Chase, Felicia and others to the housekeeping staff to the PT and OT including Angie, Mike and Joel, I was treated with respect and dignity as were the other patients. As I told some of them when I left, I took a piece of them with me when I left and I left a piece of my heart with them. I spent a total of 30 days in the hospital (15 days at Jackson Memorial Hospital before going to Ignite). I credit my recovery to these precious people. I am alive and home with my family. So thankful.

They have treated me like a queen, listened to me when I needed someone to talk to, and made it fun everyday. They're always giving me something to laugh at and making the days more enjoyable. Overall, the staff has went above and beyond what they had to do to make this as easy and smooth a transition as possible, especially in a difficult time for me.

Diana, Kara, Michelle, Sonia, CC, Robin and the rest of the staff are the best. I would come there again. I miss everyone there!!
