Experiencia fantástica: Review for all mamas! I had my second baby 5 months ago with a repeat c section and knew I wanted to go to pelvic floor pt after birth. I HIGHLY recommend Emily for all your pelvic floor needs! I did my research and looked for a physical therapist that would focus on c section scar massage along with core strengthening. She is very knowledgeable and is providing even more support than I was looking for. The office is clean, friendly and allows you to bring your baby for your appointments. She is so patient and always allows me to involve the baby if needed (my baby Ofcourse never napped during my appointments). Claire is the other pelvic floor physical therapist at north coast and she is great as well- super knowledgeable and very friendly! Overall I am having a great experience and I am so grateful I took the time to care for myself too after having two babies. A big plus is they take most insurance as well!

Experiencia negativa: I saw Katie for vertigo/disequilibrium issues and she was super knowledgeable and explained her methods very well. Everything was going great until the subject was brought up of using a massager on my neck to dislodge what Katie believed to be stuck crystal in a vestibular canal. That night I ended up in the ER. I like Katie very much, still as I later found out after joining a vestibular disorders support group, she should have known better or investigated the method completely before applying it. Ever since the night in the Emergency Room at Scripps Encinitas, I have been struggling with disequilibrium that has resulted in huge lifestyle changes, daily nausea, unsteady walking, inability to swim (my go to exercise) and a lack of confidence to do what was previously routine to me, such as taking a lengthy drive. All because she chose to move forward with a method that she did not thoroughly investigate. As to why? I can only assume it was because of an extremely busy schedule that made research/investigation prohibitive.

Experiencia fantástica: In my very many years of physical therapy for multiple surgical procedures starting back in 2008 for brain surgeries and now for shoulder surgery, I believe this is the best place I have ever been treated. The therapists here that I am currently working with include Katie, Chris, Morgan and Emily. I have been treated with great care, consideration and compassion. They are very well trained and highly skilled to handle just about anything. Right now I am using their skills for orthopaedic therapy which soon I will start their aquatic sessions with Morgan. Next month, I will be scheduling more neurological therapy with Katie and Morgan, which for me, is ongoing with refresher sessions yearly. I would also add that everyone who works here, no matter their position, is very kind and treats you like you matter :). Call Jen or Elianna and find out for yourself! I highly recommend you consider them for your next round of therapy.

The PTs are very nice, knowledgeable, professionals, and encourages you to voice treatment concerns and they adjust accordingly. I’m glad they don’t disregard my thoughts and concerns. The PTs I’ve worked with so far are Emily, Gavin, and Jordan. At the end of your treatment they’ll offer you a hot or cold post treatment with TENS unit. Now that’s the icing on the cake. I enjoy and love getting my treatments here. Highly recommended!!!

Among the issues I wanted to address was this pesky calf strain that would show up every 4-5 months. I'd stay off of it for a 4-6 weeks, build back up to long runs for 3 months and I'd experience it again. It was a repetitive cycle that I finally wanted to address. I was looking at physical therapy offices near me and I came across North Coast Physical Therapy. I am so happy that I did as thanks to help of Summer (my physical therapist) I was finally able to address my calf strain. I have continued to get seen here for other issues and my overall health has greatly improved since I started. From Jenn and Elianna working the front desk to the knowledgeable PT professionals like Summer, I can't say enough great things about this place. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great physical therapy office that feels warm, welcoming, and will help you get to where you need to be physically.

The exercises are easy to do, you can fit them in your daily living without too much time or trouble and the therapists really care. I feel better than when I started and I'm hopeful my stability, strength and balance will return and I'll have less arthritic pain in my hips and pelvis. I like how my therapist is prepared and engaged. Ali always has a wonderful attitude - he gets it.

My therapist is Kyle, a most personable and adept professional. He helped me understand my situation and how to combat the pain and make muscles stronger. Experiencia fantástica: I have been visiting North Coast Physical Therapy for a couple of months for neck arthritis, primarily seeing Ariana Washington, DPT. My prior experience with physical therapy was before and after knee surgery. It was NOT at NCPT. I just figured that complacent, non-interested physical therapy was the standard. When my doctor told me to try physical therapy for my neck I decided to try a different place. And what a difference it is. From the front desk staff (Jen!) to the assistants, to Ariana this is the place to go for physical therapy, especially if you want someone to listen intently to your concerns, really believe what you say about your pain and constantly try to find just the right combination of therapy to help. Arianna is so compassionate, kind and knowledgeable and my neck has improved so much. She always explains what her plan is and never hesitates to give a thorough answer to any question. She works with me the entire session (unlike my prior physical therapy location where I saw the actual physical therapist for about 5-10 minutes and then worked with an assistant who never watched what I was doing). I was getting severe headaches when I first came in and they are few and far between now. We still have some work to do but I have confidence that Arianna will get me there.

I also like that I can look up your care plan that shows what exercises to do along with a video showing you how to do them correctly. However Michael at North Coast PT answered all my questions in a timely manner on multiple occasions and really showed compassion, personally & professionally. Having been going there for months from a torn ACL, it really has been a great experience. The staff is very caring, knowledgeable, honest and friendly. Not only am I getting back on my feet, but also having fun while doing it! I truly look forward to going in weekly. Experiencia fantástica: Update as of 5/30/2024: If you are looking for top quality physical therapy in North County, you cannot beat this office. As a patient who has continuing arthritic conditions, I found the original small office in Carlsbad in the early 2000s. Regardless of the clinic's growth, the owners' vision has remained the same over the past 20 years ~~ providing the best one-on-one care for each individual patient's entire treatment. I no longer remember how many times I have been treated here. That's not a negative reflection on the clinic ~~ I just happen to have a lot of osteoarthritis, and it has affected various parts of my frame over the years. Now I am back again, after both back surgery and knee replacement surgery. I have been working with Ali Ghavami for the past 9 or 10 months, first for rehab of the knee and most recently for sciatica. Like every physical therapist at this office, he is well trained and equipped with the latest knowledge of standard of care. He is personable and professional, compassionate, and he always leads with hope and help. He is attentive, observant, encouraging, insightful as well as humorous. Each therapist here treats the whole person, not just a body part. Perhaps the quality I have come to appreciate most about Ali is his kindness. I have really needed that a time or ten! Dealing with a chronic orthopedic condition can get depressing, and Ali always helps me to find my way to a better physical and mental place. The front office women, Elianna and Jen, treat me well and help to find appointment times that work for me. Thanks to everyone in this incredible organization! I am happy to be one of your repeat customers! This clinic is my favorite place to go for physical therapy. After an initial evaluation to determine the patient’s problem, the therapist works one on one with the patient for the entire session. She or he does not serve several patients at once or move from one to the other during the session. I am currently working with Lauren, a highly trained physical therapist who can explain to me why the exercises she is doing with me are helpful. That explanation motivates me to do the exercises at home rather than just considering them unimportant “homework.“ In the past when I have done physical therapy here, there have been occasions when my therapist wasn’t available and another one substituted. But I never felt like I got an inferior session because of that. Their inter-office communication is really good. Everyone I interact with at this office is professional, friendly, and helpful. I have also ordered orthotics, custom-made and fitted by Paul, one of the owners. Recently I went back to him to see if I needed to order new orthotics. Because he’s having my present orthotics refurbished and elevating the rise on the right foot just a bit, I do not need an entire new set, which saves me some money. Once I am finished with my appointments, I’ll have exercises I can do at home and the knowledge to help me choose the ones best suited for any given kind of sciatica pain. I will definitely use this office for physical therapy in the future. Both my primary care doctor and my chiropractor have indicated their strong approval of this clinic.

Experiencia fantástica: First of all, love their location, such close proximity to my home! I instantly felt comfortable with my therapist, Kathleen Skvarna. I’ve only had one visit, the initial one, but I must say that I was impressed by how my therapy went. I was given exercises to do at home, my first session went very well, in fact it was quite educational. I left the facility feeling very good and confident my knee is in good hands going forward.

As far as the actual therapist, I can only say she is without peer; truly professional, knowledgeable, and possesses outstanding communication skills. I initially went to this facility feeling a bit apprehensive and guarded. Those feelings dissipated during the first ten minutes of treatment and query. This site is topnotch and has zero chips in the armor: just a wonderful place, welcoming, and result oriented.

Two weeks ago I began treatment for lower back spasms. My physical therapist immediately went to work on my hip flexors. The results were amazing. With the right exercise program you can improve your muscle strength and enhance joint range of motion.

From the girls that work the phones in the front office to Lori Tinkle the Physical Therapist to the guys that sets up your heat therapy they are all amazing. Their kind, respectful, and they get the job done. I know all the Therapists are great but, I learned so much about the body and the functionality of our muscles from Lori Tinkle.
