Experiencia fantástica: My Mother-in-law was a resident here for a skilled stay after multiple falls. The staff here went above and beyond to make her and our family comfortable. So comfortable in fact she decided to move into the assisted living. The therapy department is top notch! I would Highly recommend The Healthcare Resort of Olathe to care for your loved ones!

Experiencia fantástica: I can’t say enough good things about The Healthcare Resort of Olathe. My soon-to-be 99 year old mother has been a resident there for almost 3 months, first for some rehab and then as a long term care patient. The staff members genuinely care, and they go above and beyond to meet the needs of the residents -physically, socially and emotionally. They have also provided me with much-appreciated support in dealing with some difficult transitions since her stroke in April. I can rest easy knowing she is in good hands, and I am thankful she ended up where she is. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Healthcare Resort to anyone in need of Assisted Living, Rehab, or Skilled Nursing Care. ❤️❤️

Experiencia fantástica: I was at health Resort for two months. I was there because I had a pick line and was given antibiotics eight times a day, and also had an anabiotic spacer in my hip, which was non-weightbearing. It was a very difficult time for me emotionally as well as physically which I’m sure is the case with most people who are in rehab. I found the staff to be wonderful across-the-board. The staff got to know me and I got to know them overtime. When I arrived at Health resort, I was in a great deal of pain which did subside significantly over my two month stay. I knew that the staff was very busy, but they kept doing their work with kindness and professionalism. I think many times patients see their own situational journey and don’t think about those who care for them who also need to have kindness offered to them. The regular staff strived to get to know my routine and how to move me and care for me the best that they could. They were always very considerate and cautious. I grew to be very fond of many of the people who I regularly saw. I also participated as everyone does with occupational and physical therapy. The therapist were all top notch. They had my best interest in mind, and worked with me where I was pain wise, as well as encouraging me to push a little beyond as I was able. I have only good things to say about them. The only other thing I will touch on is the food service. When I first arrived there, it was in March and the food definitely left something to be desired. However, a new kitchen manager came on in May, and. It was a night and day. The food dramatically improved. Kudos to the new kitchen manager. All in all Health Resort was a very good place to be through my rehab experience. I recommend The Health Resort of Olathe. Suzanne Bastin

Experiencia fantástica: This place is amazing! The care that the staff from the top to the bottom has been absolutely phenomenal! The passion that they give to the resident is out of this world! I'm glad that my dad is here, I can't imagine him being anywhere else! A huge thank you to all the staff here!!!

Experiencia fantástica: It’s clear the staff at this building care so much for their residents! The nurses and aids are constantly going above and beyond to make sure their residents are well taken care of. Even the receptionist is so sweet and helpful! It’s also very clean and looks and feels like a home.

Experiencia positiva: My husband was there in their rehab for a little over two weeks. The nurses, aids, therapists & other staff were all very accomodating. The rooms were individual, large w/private bathrooms & showers in each. My husband likes it, saying it is way better than the other ones he has been in. My husband had to return to the hospital because of a medical problem, which the nursing staff caught & insisted he go to the ER for. The nursing staff were on the ball & saved him from mire complicated & potentially deadly medical problems. They have my gratitude for that. On the down side, it is very expensive. The Medicare co-pay is $196 per day, which they not only ask for, but insist that payment be made Up front. This concerned me. How do they estimate how long a rehab stay will be or how much will be owed upon discharge? Do they expect payment for a full month up front? That kind of eliminates working class people don't you think? And being retired and on a fixed income, what do we do when we run out of savings? On the down side, it is very expensive. The Medicare co-pay was $196 per day & they not only expect, but insist on payment up front

I love the people I work with and seeing the residents every day. This is the place I recommend to all my family and friends if they are needing skilled services, long term care, assisted living or even outpatient therapy. Our employees are professional, caring and loyal. In addition, our building is gorgeous!

Experiencia fantástica: The Healthcare Resort of Olathe has the BEST THERAPY team! Their Social Workers are great - they have frequent and thorough communication with family. They have a monthly Rise and Dine program as an added touch. The activities are very engaging and more than just BINGO! Your loved one will be taken care of here!

Experiencia positiva: The place was nice ..but one issue ..send a man home without the meds to get better...dont take phones calls ..have to talk to three people only to be switched to another which ends up being a voicemail...leave a voice mail explaining an ending it with will call a lawyer ..to get a call back ...really nice !!!

Experiencia fantástica: My mother was in need of assisted living due to a devastating diagnosis of ovarian cancer. She also had to have two colostomy bags attached to her. Her condition put her in need of special care. Our time at the facility was just short of four months. The staff at Health Care Resort of Olathe were amazing. From the front office, the daily nursing staff, the cleaning crew and the cafeteria staff everyone was great. Even though the occasional hiccup would happen the overall experience was positive and I would change nothing. Thank you Health Care Resort of Olathe!

I enjoyed the many activities they provided for the residents/patients. The meals were delicious. Several of the residents and I have remained friends since being discharged. I would highly recommend "The Healthcare Resort" to anyone who needs rehabilitation from surgery or perhaps is just looking for a new home.

The new Executive Director is making great things happen in this facility and she is focused on providing a quality patient experience. I love seeing that!

Experiencia fantástica: I moved both of my elderly parents to the Healthcare Resort of Olathe over a month ago and the experience has been wonderful. The staff is so friendly and courteous, the facility is absolutely wonderful, and my parents are enjoying it tremendously. I was shocked that my parents now go down to "Happy Hour" at the end of the week and were headed down for the Ice Cream activity yesterday! They have managed to make it possible for my parents to meet other people and get to know them in a friendly atmosphere. I can't say enough good about this place, and the staff is truly remarkable.

Experiencia positiva: I was at this facility for 9 days after getting out of the hospital for pneumonia. I was fully functional on my own can do everything on my own all they had to do is come in and give me my meds. They do not have enough nurses or staff especially at night and their housekeeper suck. My food tray sat in my room for most 24 hours before someone took them out. Otherwise not a bad place to be it's actually peaceful and the rehab part of it was actually pretty good that they made me work my butt off they don't let you just sit around
