Experiencia fantástica: Las Colinas Post Acute Rehab is the best place for skilled nursing and rehab services. The employees are extremely wonderful and fantastic. The facility has helped me tremendously. I received a new outlook on life here. I will thoroughly miss this place. This has been my home since May 2023.

Experiencia negativa: I arrived at Las Colinas Wednesday evening July 24th 2024. The next day I was feeling much better and able to walk and care for my needs. I informed the Director of Case Management that I would be going home on Saturday. Needless to say, a very serious discussion ensued. Later that evening Dr. Woodbury came to see me. I informed him that I was doing much better and able to take care of my needs and that I was going home on Saturday. He said nothing about me staying any longer than that. On Friday one of the ladies who handles discharge came to see me. I was in the process of cleaning up so I could not sign any paperwork. She said she would be back later that day. She never came back! Today is Saturday the 27th, and there are no discharge papers for me or in the system. I have been told that if I leave it would be against doctor's orders. Therefore they have the right to hold my medication which I need. I am being held hostage! Do not send your loved ones to this place! The food is so bad that the regular residents send out for food to be delivered.

Experiencia negativa: My dad is in there for care currently march 8th 2024 just got notified of his mistreatment and neglect from the overnight staff including they hid the call button from him under the mattress, this is neglect and abuse from the overnight staff. Not everyone there is bad but apparently they need to address these issues and seems from past patients reviews I'm reading and hearing about this overnight staff I wonder how they would feel left soiled in there own poop and pee overnight until the next shift arrives. And not attend to the patients just sit there talking and laughing it up while they earn a paycheck.

Experiencia negativa: If you want to torture your love one for something they did in the past then this is the place for you! For example they rather your love one soil themselves making our your love one loose all dignity instead of assisting them to the bathroom. That's just one of many examples. If you love the person that you are seeking care for don't bring them hear. My heart goes out to the very few individuals that work there that genuinely care, but poor administration makes this place what it is.

Experiencia negativa: I was rehabilitating they're at Las colinas and felt very abused. They also cut me short of antibiotic meds just in order to slow my healing process so that 8d have more days there $$ !!!! Also denied visits from family and friends along with drugging me to the point that I'd be incoherent when I requested the opportunity to speak with management about the abusive tactics done by the overnight nursing team who allowed me to suffer in pain and vain as they'd not reply to my request for my pain meds that I'm supposed to be receiving at that particular time. Lawsuit??? Perhaps

Experiencia negativa: They are the worst place !! They don’t give the medication on time. They always have an excuse for everything! And they don’t keep a clean place. Always having a breakout of Covid because they don’t clean the air vents that circulate the air through out the complex. Would classify this place as a : DROP AND RUN ***

Experiencia fantástica: My grandmother was here at Las Colinas due to her having a stroke and needed to get physical therapy and occupational therapy. All of the staff that worked with my grandma treated her and our family with nothing but kindness. The care is great! Nurses were gentle with her care and her needs. Nurses/staff would answer our concerns that we've had. I would definitely recommend if you need a snf for rehabilitation.

Experiencia fantástica: My grand mother was here to receive physical therapy due to a fall , and everyone at las colinas has been nothing but great to myself and family . They’ve made this process easy from the very start I’d definitely recommend, Not to mention how great the nurses are!

Experiencia negativa: Allowed 6 adult diapers daily for bedbound. Meds & call light confusion. Water disappeared. One electric outlet. Room very hot. Staff very pleasant and professional otherwise.

Experiencia negativa: Patients all complained to me about getting someone to help them and it smells so bad . I don't think they are changing diapers very well. And patients were angry about finding nurses when I just seen 4 of them in the parking lot .

Experiencia fantástica: Alyssa and NA are the 2 best nurses they care for your needs don't shine you on and are not bad looks either THANKS LADIES

Experiencia negativa: Never answers phones. Never get back to people. Need phones in patients rooms. Not everyone has video chat. My mom can not talk to her mom because of no phones. I am having issues getting ahold of m y grandma for 2 weeks now. I have no idea how she is being treated but if it is like the unorganized way that I have seen I can only imagine.

This facility has exceeded my expectations. I want to really thank everyone there for helping my loved one get better so she could return home to us.

Experiencia negativa: dont ever bring your family member here. the staff do not take proper care of their patients. my dad would complain of stomach pain and could not use the bathroom properly because of constipation. his stomach was huge and then two days later, i get a call from a hospital he was sent to that my dad had to have a sudden bowel obstruction surgery because of the lack of care of the staff. the surgeon talked to me after my dad surgery and told me that what happened to my dad did not happen overnight and that the nurses must have not given him his stool softeners or were not giving him the proper dosage. my dad had to be hospitalized for a whole month after the incident to recover from the surgery. all the while the entire situation could have been avoided if it werent for the staff. i ended up talking to the director of nursing where i talked about my frustration with the whole situation and she kept interrupting me and saying “i dont like to deal with unhappy people” and that “if you’re not happy with the level of care here, then you can find somewhere else for your dad to stay”. she became so frustrated with my concerns, she hung up the phone! so unprofessional, uncaring, and terrible service! so happy i got my dad out of that place! im so sorry for anyone thats still in that facility and has to deal with such rude people.

Experiencia fantástica: My grandfather was at here for a few months and had a really good experience. Everyone was friendly and helpful, but his favorite part of this home was Emelie Higuera’s food. My grandfather was such a picky eater but loved her cooking and always raved about how delicious everything she made was. Thank you Emelie for cooking with your heart, it has such an impact on the patients and makes living here so much better.

Experiencia fantástica: It was hard thinking about putting my granny in a home like this. But it got to a point where we realized it was necessary. She absolutely loves it there, she is always talking about how amazing the food is there, and how she loves the different variety and options that they have available for her. Although she has dietary restrictions, they still make her a delicious meal!

Experiencia fantástica: One of the most beautiful skilled nursing facilities, I have visited. The interior of this building is clean, has windows throughout the facility, three (3) patios, a spacious family room, and a large PT/OT room. This facility is decorated with paintings, plants, and has a large fresh water aquarium which is located in the large sized dining room. I have never seen a facility this big, yet so clean and well kept. What I cherished the most was the customer service received from nursing and activities. Physical and Occupational therapists at this facility are working every day. Not every facility provides these services on Sunday’s. This facility is driven for excellence and deserves 10 stars for all the hardworking employees. My mother was here for PT/OT and let me tell you from case management to nursing department, everyone accommodated my mothers hard to please and stubborn ways. I know my mother best, and mother and I loved Las Colinas Post Acute. If you are looking to place your loved one anywhere, look no further. This is the place. Period. Thank you everyone at Las Colinas Post Acute for all your efforts and hard work. I apologize for being difficult, but I really really loved how professionally you managed every situation due to my mom’s difficult and complex ways. I definitely recommend Las Colinas Post Acute. Thank you for taking such good care of my mom!

I could not be happier with their care. Thank you all !! If I could give you all a 10 I would.. havent had not one issue with anyone.. thank you all so much. Experiencia fantástica: I cannot stop talking about the experience I had and thought I'd share it. My nanny was a patient here for two weeks and as you can imagine, it was in everyone's best interest that she recover quickly. I visited her a few times with my kid but the first time I will never forget. When I walked in her room that first day, I noticed the housekeeping lady hugging her and telling her that everything was going to be ok. Our nanny is older and only speaks Spanish but it was immediately apparent that she was crying a lot right before we got there. My wife had warned me that our Nanny was afraid she would never recover, I would expect compassion and empathy from their nursing personnel but the fact that it extended to everyone else that works there made me feel like I was in some remote universe where everyone believes in Love. It was absolutely amazing to witness.

Experiencia fantástica: Great Skilled Nursing Facility. Has an attentive and competent nursing staff. Has a strong and rehabilitation department: PT/OT/ST. They even have an occupational garden for patient to mimic their daily activities under direct supervision with an occupational therapist which gets them ready before being discharged home. They also have a fun cooking and baking class for patients and family members. They also have a standardized IDT (Inter-Disciplinary Team) that consist of each department heads that collaborates with each other to come with the appropriate plan of care to meet the daily needs of each individual admitted in their facility.

Experiencia fantástica: Misguided and confused. When my Mom and I first arrived at Providence we where very pleased with professionalism and friendliness the entire staff was. In the past two months it seems like we walked into a totally different long term provider. My moms catheter was never changed until I complained of unhealthy and infectious catheter. When changed the catheter leaked all over bed and my mom, took for ever to get a nurse to finally change it after two failed attempts. My mom started with a runny nose and felt like she was getting the flu, told a nurse about her condition and was ignored. I brought all this up to my Three months meeting with Interdisciplinary Team and they assured me this would be handled. My visit today I find my mom miserable with head and stomach flu and told me she has complained with no results or treatment.My mom has complained on three different occasions to staff nursing and has been ignored. I know Providence mission statement says the patient is their number one priority. We disused all these complaints with the Supervising Nurse and she assured us things will change. I am hopeful.
