Each time, I was greeted, assessed and given treatments that increased my mobility and strength. The private rooms are such an asset over so many other facilities with open rooms, lacking privacy. Paul Vissers makes sure your treatment is targeted but pushes you to go out of your comfort zone and it works. The doctors in the area like to know their patients are in good hands. Elise always gets me scheduled and makes sure the place runs smooth and efficiently. What a great team. I recommend them if you need Physical Therapy.#Physicaltherapy

I had been recommended Visser’s PT clinic from a very close friend who had known my struggle with the first PT clinic I was treated at for ankle rehabilitation after a fracture. Rena was my physical therapist treating me and she is not only a good physical therapist, but an amazing person who truly cares for her patients. After losing hope that I will regain my range of motion and strength back, Rena helped me reach my goals to recover. Throughout my time at this clinic, Rena had listened to my concerns and was very patient with me. Rena and her staff are amazing and I will continue to recommend everyone to go to her clinic after my experience. If you are looking for a good clinic with good people that actually care about their patients, don’t hesitate to go to Visser’s.

Experiencia fantástica: I really want to share my recent PT experience at Vissers. Due to my age (62) and intense physical activity, I’ve been prone to injuries the last few years. I’ve been to “hospital based” PT, private PT, you name it. After my outpatient arthroscopic hip surgery, I went to Vissers for my recovery. They exceeded expectations - for several reasons: -It wasn’t “cookie cutter” therapy. It was tailored to me. -I always left with NEW “home exercises” not just left on my own until the next visit -They didn’t work with me along with several other people at the same time. I was treated as a valued patient. -I never felt like they were watching the clock to rush me out. They did what was necessary based on my point of recovery. I can’t thank them, or recommend them, enough! I highly recommend Vissers Physical Therapy!

It was easy to get an appointment, and always got in and out a timely manner. Experiencia fantástica: I truly believe Rena changed my life. Four years ago I went in bent over in pain with sciatica caused by spinal stenosis and Rena worked her magic and I worked hard doing the prescribed exercises which I still do EVERY day and I am stronger than I ever was. Yes, once in a while I have some pain, but it goes away quickly. During the therapy, the subject of my bad knees came up. Bad knees run in my family and I had suffered a lot of pain in my knees--enough that a number of time my orthopedist gave me cortisone shots in my knees. Rena suggested exercises for my knees which I added to my regimen and now I basically no long have knee pain! I will always be grateful for Rena and the wonderful people at Vissers. They are the best!

Experiencia fantástica: I had undergone a shoulder surgery in January, recovery time was supposed to be 3 months. My previous therapist did not understand my condition fully and I ended up with a stiff shoulder, I couldn’t move much without any pain. Visser Physical Therapy was recommended to me, so I gave it a shot. The physiotherapists, with their truly caring character, and comprehensive experience in physiotherapy, helped me get back on track very quickly. Now, I am back to rock-climbing and swimming. A thousand thanks to the therapists for the great work! I highly recommend the physiotherapy services from Visser Physical Therapy.

Experiencia fantástica: The best physical therapy I have ever experienced. I have had two knee surgeries, ACL and Osteochondroma. My most recent visits were for ACL/Meniscus injuries. I would not be pain-free and walking without these magicians. The Vissers team (Paul, Rena and Elise) is extremely knowledgeable, professional and effective. I highly recommend choosing Vissers for rehabilitation no matter your age, even if your doctor sends you elsewhere! You will not find more expert and caring individuals. On both occasions, my therapist was Rena and she has been exceptional - getting me back to a level I thought was impossible!! The movement in my neck that I have regained, as well as the strengthening of my neck and shoulders, has been a noticeable improvement throughout my everyday. And this change has also helped with my headaches! Dr. Paul and Elise at the front desk are simply the best. Experiencia negativa: GASLIGHTER. Beware of this place. He will make you feel crazy and dismiss you even though it turns out you have serious injuries. I came and saw Paul Vissers after losing the ability to turn my head, and lift my arm after surgery. This also caused a lot asymmetry in my shoulders. From my first appointment Paul kept repeating how he wouldnt treat me if he didnt think I was "really trying to get better". Constantly gaslighting me into making me feel crazy like "Oh, you can move it. You just have forgotten how" and "You need to stop holding your shoulders so uneven". He constantly condescended and insinuated that I was faking. I went back for a second visit...same thing. On my third appointment he tried to push my "higher" shoulder down so hard that it sent my shoulder into a severe cramp. As I leaned forward crying and frustrated he said coldly "I'm not going to be able to help you". I stormed out and left. This man did nothing but accuse me of faking and made me feel like a crazy hypochondriac. He terminated treatment before I could even tell him that I was tested a few days ago and I have SEVERE DAMAGE TO MY SPINAL ACCESSORY NERVE. This man's behavior is dangerous and does not seem to care about people. He is condescending and has a God-complex..and may I remind him that Physical Therapists are not Medical Doctors... you can not diagnose and assume that you know exactly what is wrong. He will look for any reason to fire you as a client.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been to several PTs for various fitness-related injuries over the years. I was referred here by my doctor and was really impressed with their focus on properly identifying what's going on rigorously while applying a sensible and informal regimen for recovery. A lot of PTs get one right or the other, but it's rare to have a PT both do proper root cause analysis and also understand that the more formal and clinical recovery exercises and stretches are communicated, the less likely patients are to continue doing them. My PT Rina has been really awesome and I'm grateful for her help demystifying what I'd been experiencing and helping permanently alleviate it.

Rena Bissessar and Paul worked on my back and I couldn’t be happier with the service and care that they provided. Experiencia fantástica: Outstanding customer relations and service Paul Visser is knowledgeable and caring person. I had pain in my thigh. After 2 sessions and with instructions for exercises at home , I ‘m all good now and I continue the exercises at home. O also had lower back pain which got better with exercises , massage, and the electric pulse machine. I had the lower back pain totally eliminated with an inversion table. I highly recommend Visser physical therapy, just superb:) They accept united healthcare insurance and they have Saturday appointments too.

Experiencia fantástica: During the past 4 years, Paul Visser of Vissers Physical Therapy has treated myself for repair of a torn rotator cuff, torn bicep, and a torn labrum for both my right and left arms. He also treated me for a frozen shoulder, which through therapy he was able to release my arm from being frozen. In addition, he has also treated my husband for two hip replacements and a total knee replacement this past spring. Thanks to Paul, my husband is now back on the golf course! Paul is committed to helping his patients in any way he can; establishing programs of exercise, machine routines, at-home exercises, and more. He is professional, focused, energetic, and compassionate. Paul’s abilities allow him to work with patients of all ages, and all ailments. He delivers above and beyond what you would expect and is determined to help you get back to your normal self. I can honestly say that without the help we received from Paul, neither my husband nor myself would be back to our norm. Vissers Physical Therapy is 5 star. We highly recommend this facility and would definitely go back. The location of the office is easy to get to, the office manager, Elise, is professional and caring, and the facility is spotless.

Experiencia fantástica: I concur with all the other reviewers. Rena Bissessar and really the whole team made a world of difference in my rehab and ultimately with my whole quality of life. After knee surgery and 7 weeks of PT elsewhere, my surgeon was not happy with my knee extension and was even afraid he might have to surgically remove scar tissue. He told me to go back to PT, but the place I'd been going to said they could do no more to help me. Luckily, with the assistance of all the great reviews I saw about this facility, I found my way to VIssers, to Rena, Paul and Elise. Their kindness, skill, problem-solving, compassion and dedication helped me immeasurably, and my surgeon happily gave me the thumbs up as my function, extension, and walking has improved so much in just 6 weeks. Rena was phenomenal, and she worked with Paul to get my new knee working properly. Elise worked with my insurance company to request additional benefits and to be a very supportive person to me as well. I cannot recommend this place enough, it is NOT a PT assembly line, it is a professional and caring center where you get the skilled treatment you need to move on with your life. They pushed me beyond what I thought I could do and got my life back to normal much quicker than I ever expected. They truly care more about the individuals then just making a quick buck, which was extremely refreshing from my past experiences with physical therapist! I have to pay out of pocket due to my insurance, and they were more than willing to work with me. I highly recommend them - You won't regret going!!!
