Experiencia negativa: My mom was here for about 2-3 weeks. The worst ever for care. I have never witnessed anything quite like it. The physical therapy manager meant with me on several occasions and their work was the worst. They said they worked with my mom and they barely did anything for her. The place was filthy and the A/C was broken. They had single room conditioners brought in that were loud and sub par. The food was atrocious and I had to bring food into the facility for my mom. She was in urine drenched clothing for many many hours, even after it was reported. One of the aides was asked by mom if she could be helped into her chair and he said no. She said my daughter is coming and I would like to sit in my chair. He said "I said no and don't ask me again". She had bedsores, and when I finally took her out of there, I had to have wound care come to her home. The bedsores were deep. It was awful and atrocious for any human.

Experiencia negativa: My father ended up passing away because of this particular place when he arrived, they were told that my dad needed further care with kidney stones. They never took him to the doctor to continue to work on, blasting his kidney stones down, and he ended up passing away because of kidney failure because the stone had became so big that his kidney stopped functioning correctly now, after several years of lawsuit, they have filed bankruptcy and are not willing to pay what they’re supposed to pay out for my dad‘s Life, I find this place absolutely disgusting and they can’t even own up for not properly caring for these peoples lives. If I was you, I would definitely not place my loved one here. It is a life or death matter.

Experiencia negativa: My mom was scheduled to arrive at this facility after surgery for rehab rehabilitation. Once arrive there was no communication on her medication or anything else and I had to eventually call the hospital back to find out what was going on. The rude lady who answered the phone begin screaming to the top of her voice, as if I was a two-year-old because she was wrong. I was telling her what my mother’s name was, and she was calling out some other person’s name. Immediately another woman grabbed the phone from her and then begin to let me know what was going on after I What had happened? She said the reason she took her phone was because of the tone that she was talking in. By the time we got everything settled with Orlando help nurse on the phone. My mother had called 911 and was being transported back to the hospital. This first of all could have been avoided if if she’s a new resident, someone should’ve came in her room when To make sure that they explained everything to her as far as medication’s, etc. She was told that they had no medication as well as her walker that she would need for a rehab rehabilitation had been left at the hospital. Upon speaking to the hospital, they sent over a folder to the rehabilitation center, which would have instructed them on what’s going on.. Leonie Shouldn’t be allowed to work with any family or patient if screaming into the top of her lungs is how she communicates. You can’t be a caregiver and be that angry, especially when it’s after midnight A time when everybody should be calm and sleeping, but she’s screaming to the top of her lungs. I asked the young lady on the phone for a manager’s phone number as well as the person who I was speaking to and they put me on hold for five or 10 minutes Before they could give me the information. I would never want my mother to be Where they have a maniac yelling and screaming like she’s on some reality show. My mother wasn’t even there six hours before she had to call 911 herself because no one was Attentive to her, and she was in excruciating pain.

Experiencia positiva: I am being transferred to Aspire after leaving Dr Phillips Hospital. I have been told my Husband is not allowed to sleep over with me in my private room that I pay double for! I am not happy about this at all as my Husband is the only family and loved one I have here in Orlando! I am not looking forward to this place at all!!! **I was just approached by a staff member who asked how my stay and care has been while here at Aspire at Rosewood 1 month late? Honestly the reception I initially received by the evening staff failed in comparison to the extreme professional and caring staff I met the following day! These people have supported, aided and assisted me in every level of my rehabilitative care! Almost 1 month later I am steadfast in my therapy, on my regular medication and committed to walking out of here a stronger and better person!

Experiencia positiva: I was there for physical therapy. I got to meet allot of the patients and we became friends they my stay of a month. Most nurses and CNAs were very kind, nice and understanding. A few were not friendly at all. But I will say nice place to be and I miss all the friends I made. The staff also has allot of activities w could do. Had a easter party thrown and also cake and ice cream on one day of each month to celebrate the patients birthday for that month.

Experiencia negativa: My mom has been at Rosewood for over a year. She is suffering from Alzheimer's and is not very vocal or mobile. Every day when they get her up in the morning, they leave her in the dayroom all by herself. She is essentially forgotten, nobody checks on her and she has no stimulation or company. I have asked that she be included in a group of residents that are considered "fall risks", so that she feels like she is accompanied and where she can be supervised. She was approved to go into this group and a week after being approved, Donette (apparently she is a manager there), decided that my mom could not be included in the group. I have spoken to Donovan, who promised me that he was going to speak to Elizabeth and James about this and as of today, I still have not gotten a response. It is beyond me why a center that touts themselves as an Alzheimer's care center, can feel good about leaving a 91 year old Alzheimer patient alone all day long with no human contact and think that this is OK. I am going to contact Consulate leadership to discuss this issue since I have gotten no response from the leadership team at Rosewood. I am extremely disappointed and saddened at the way that my mom is being treated.

Experiencia negativa: Hello world this place is very nice and clean but has its flaws with staff and administration my mother stayed there for about three weeks and they were transitioning to a new system where her medication was not entered properly Any human would be upset administration they were transitioning to a new system where all her medicine was properly inserted and get a fit any human would be upset if they weren’t getting the proper medication they need it so my mom was recently hospitalized again a needed to return the facility declined her to return because of past behavior issues there but like I stated before it was not her fault that they are system was changing and they didn’t have her information answer correctly I feel that if the staff and administration needed hold there self accountable and they did not.

Experiencia negativa: This has to be a joke. For one. This place is disgustingly dirty. I never got a chance to physically check the place out before sending my mother here. And I was appalled when I got to her room. Not only due to how nasty it was but because she wasn’t even there 15 whole minutes after being transferred, and I walk into her room to find her on the ground. She was a fall risk, and the bed was not all the way lowered, and there were NO nurses nearby. Due to the fall, my mother popped a brain vessel which caused hemorrhaging. Not to mention the CHARGE nurse tried fighting me on getting her a medical transfer saying he doesn’t see the necessity when she is on blood thinners and needs to be checked anytime she has a fall. And he was being so rude and not helpful in the least! This was one of the scariest moments of my life and I promise I wouldn’t recommend this place to a single soul. Not to mention my mothers roommate in the room told me that I shouldn’t leave my mother there and that the place is the absolute worst.

Experiencia negativa: I am currently a patient here Things are ok until the 3 to 11 shift comes on. I am routinely left to drown in my own urine for hours at a time. The techs bully and make fun of us never answer call lights or the telephone

Experiencia fantástica: I know it may not look like much but my family has never been happier. The staff has been caring and attentive and extremely informative. My family member is getting therapy six days a week and is well on her way to recovery. The place is clean and never has that "nursing home smell." Everyone there has been extremely kind and helpful.

Experiencia negativa: I can’t imagine a worse place than here!!! The facility itself looks like a 3rd world place. It was absolutely disgusting! After 2 days my uncle was in a coma due to no one giving him enough insulin! He was totally dehydrated and was taken away in an ambulance. You would be better off in the middle of the street! This place needs to be shut down before more people suffer!!!!!!!!

THEY DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR ,MY MOTHER WHO GOT THERE ON A WEDNESDAY AND WAS DEAD BY SUNDAY!!!THEY PUT HER IN A ROOM THE FARTHEST AWAY FROM A NURSES STATION AND DID NOTHING FOR HER. Experiencia fantástica: Me pareció haber notado bastantes críticas desagradables sobre el Centro de atención médica de Rosewood health y de alguna manera puedo entender por qué las personas pueden sentirse así, especialmente durante esta crisis de COVID-19 que enfrenta nuestro país en este momento. Sin embargo, hubo un punto positivo que experimenté cuando mi suegro fue admitido en este centro y provino directamente de la Directora de admisiones, Marlene Tapia y al igual que el resto del equipo del centro. No es muy frecuente que una familia pueda experimentar a una persona cariñosa que se tomó su tiempo para responder todas las preguntas que teníamos sobre todo el proceso de rehabilitación. Hizo un trabajo tan magnífico que mi esposa y yo pensamos que sería inapropiado evitar enviar una reseña. Su eficacia nos ayudó mucho a tomar la decisión de utilizar esta instalación. Con Marlene, nos hizo sentir como si fuéramos parte de su familia y se aseguró de que nuestro pariente fuera atendido como si fuera suyo. Realmente apreciamos su autenticidad, amabilidad, conocimiento y sinceridad. Experiencia fantástica: I would surely recommend this place for anyone that has a loved one that needs a petmanent place or rehab. I know that people might be put off by the location, that's not what defines a good place. It has a staff that care about the residents. It's very clean and all the COVID-19 protocols are follow for the safety of the residents and staff. It might not be glits and glamor but what's important is that the residents looks happy and well cared for. Not everything it's perfect, like in any health care place at this time, the staff is short handed and the ratio between nurse and patient is 1 nurse per 15 residents which make the call lights take a little longer to be answered to. My exprtience with the staff was great. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. All my questions were answered in a timely manner. I was able to meet with both Admissions directors they were so friendly and caring. They listened to all my concerns, without feeling that I was taking to much of their time. I asked if it was possible to meet with the social worker and in less than an hour the he came to the room and I was able to get the discharge plan taken care. Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android

Experiencia fantástica: I don’t often write reviews but I felt compelled to based on my own personal experience pertaining to my Grandfather at this facility. As his DPOA, a healthcare leader at fortune 5 company , and someone who is experienced with healthcare law (J.D.). Over the course of the last year, my grandfather has suffered two strokes along with a host of other ailing health diagnoses which have been treated and attended to by multiple rehab and hospital facilities but what I’ve witnessed and learned that resonates the most with me refers to an old cliche “Don’t judge a book by its cover”. My grandfathers own journey this last year has taken him to 3 different rehabilitation centers with the most recent one being Rosewood. This facility is not as modern and aesthetically pleasing as the last two he was at but what it lacks on its outward appearance is by far surpassed by what it brings on the inside. The inside is full of caring, dedicated, passionate, resourceful, and all around genuine healthcare workers. As someone who visits this facility daily at random times; just as I did with the others , I’ve witnessed first hand the passion and purpose that resonates in all work that is being done within this facility to ensure high and great clinical outcomes. The cohesiveness, patient centric focus, and the open lines of communication between my Grandfathers healthcare team and myself have only been complimentary to the exemplary work that happens at this facility. The DON Ms. Elizabeth is God Send and expects nothing but the best from her team to ensure the patients/residents within are well taken care of. I’m an individual that believes in life you must have passion and purpose behind what you do and I’ve been able to witness that the team at Rosewood, especially the nursing staff through their actions embody these traits in all that they do. I have so much more to say but don’t want to drag this review out. Do know that I’m blessed and thankful to know that my Grandfather’s care has been entrusted to the team at Rosewood and everyday I can rest comfortably knowing this facility cares deeply about their residents/patients and that my grandfather continues to receive the attention, care, and love that he needs in my absence to help pull him through. Simply put this facility is absolutely amazing but only because of the team inside which are lead by one of the best nurses I’ve ever come into contact with (Ms. Elizabeth) and the Executive Administrator (James). Home is where the heart is!

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone was friendly and professional and they made the process very easy. Marleen and Phyllis are amazing! Everyone I encountered like the nutritionis, the receptionist, and the physical therapist were professional and made the process to transition my father-in-law in to the facility. Don't let the neighborhood fool you into thinking the service is bad; it's not! The employees treated me and my family like we're family.

Experiencia fantástica: My dad spent 55 days at Rosewood for rehabilitation He suffered from a massive heart attack.When he arrived at this facilty he could not stand,walk,or even eat on his own. BUT NOW HE CAN !!!!! Thank you so much for the care!! I would also love to give a big shout-out to Charles the pt❤ Shelli the speech terapist❤ Ben the Nurse who was so nice to my dad❤ Of course I could keep going thank you all !!! Experiencia fantástica: I was admitted to Rosewood August 2019 after having surgeries due from an infection which took my ankle bone, surgery on my hip and spine... After 41 years i lost my ability to walk... I was so angry at the world... I could not even lift my back by myself off the bed... The staff from CNA's to nurses to social workers to physcial therapy was phenominal, even when i would curse people out they still were patient with me.. They pushed me to my limits of what they knew i could so and more, when i was ready to give up the loved and cared for me enough to push me more and remind me why they pushed me more... I was unable to walk and I am walking now....For 4 months they were my loving and encouraging family, they will ALWAYS. BE MY FAMILY... I thank each of y'all for never giving up on me, and always reminding me how God never left my side.... I recommend families to trust there loved ones in there hands.... They will love them as if it is there own family.... I know this from personal experience!!! Thank you Rosewood.... I LOVE YOU ALL!!!

Experiencia fantástica: My mom was there, the personel is excellent. The place is clean. The social Mr. Donnovan is a very helpful ,sweet and commitment person. He heard your doubts and worries and respond to every question. The nurses are awesome and also the food. My mom was in good hands.

Experiencia fantástica: My mother is a resident here. We live in the Orlando area, so we visit frequently. The building is old, but don’t judge a book by its cover. We have been very pleased with the care and the staff. She attends physical therapy regularly and they have been great. The nurses and aides are very attentive and caring and friendly as are all the support staff and admin. We attended a family Thanksgivng dinner which was lovely. They make an effort here and it shows.

Experiencia positiva: Being as though I've never had to reside in a nursing or rehabilitation center before but for the most part Rosewood Health and Rehabilitation is pretty good the staff is kind and courteous physical physical and occupational therapy is out of this world they're the best they get you on your feet and up and going you just got to be willing to put the work in there here for you and I love them for that thank you very much

Experiencia fantástica: This is the third rehab my wife, Diane has been in. The first two we're complete horror stories. At Rosewood the staff has been on top of everything. They have been most kind to Diane and myself, very attentive and concerned. I also find the residents there pleased, something to consider questioning when searching for such a facility. I've given them 5 star's because they deserve it. I fully endorse this rehab! .
