Experiencia fantástica: It’s my fourth here at Advanced Healthcae of Aurora, I love the people and the service. I couldn’t think of going anywhere else for rehab. The staff is great especially nurse Al, the night nurse. He’s attentive and takes care of my needs.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve always said it’s the only place I would send my parents to, and recently have had to do just that. The therapists and nurses have given such good care to my dad after he struggled with a lengthy stay at the hospital. I see the daily improvements with his increased confidence and ability toward his goal areas for returning home. I wouldn’t have my dad sent anywhere else for skilled rehabilitation!

Experiencia fantástica: From the moment I walked in, I knew that this was a high quality facility. The rooms are personalized, and homey. All of the staff from the front desk to the medical staff were very attentive. They met all of my high cleanliness standards (which takes a lot.) I wouldn't go to another facility. Experiencia fantástica: To the Staff at Advanced Healthcare of Aurora, I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the outstanding care I received during my recent stay for orthopedic rehabilitation following a septic knee. From the moment I arrived, I felt truly welcomed and cared for. The entire staff was consistently kind, helpful, and attentive—always there when I needed them, never making me feel like a burden. Everyone treated me with respect, warmth, and patience, and that made all the difference in my healing. I’d especially like to recognize Abby and Jonathan for their exceptional care. Abby was incredibly pleasant and patient during my rehab sessions, always understanding and encouraging. Jonathan was equally helpful, compassionate, and easy to talk to. Their efforts, along with the rest of the team, made me feel important, valued, and supported throughout my stay. My experience at Advanced Healthcare of Aurora truly felt like a home away from home. My needs were met quickly and thoroughly, and I was never left feeling overlooked or uncomfortable. Experiencia negativa: My mother was at this facility recently for several weeks. We can’t say enough about Kristin, her physical therapist! She was the highlight of my mother‘s day. She got her back on her feet, walking and able to get in and out of a car again. The weekends are hard though because mom just sat in her room unless we came to see her to get her out because they don’t offer therapy on weekends. Please keep that in mind. My mother did not like the food at all. Very bland and she said it didn’t taste good. We often brought in food from the outside so we could make sure she was eating. One thing that was difficult is that patients who choose not to eat in the cafeteria are not served their lunch until around 1:30 in the afternoon, which is late for lunch in my opinion. The other folks are fed closer to noon. My mom thought the day staff was OK but had a couple issues at night. she couldn’t get up and was wearing pull-ups and needed to be changed often because of the medication she was on. My mother reports that one night worker seemed upset that they had to change her and made sure she knew that the staff member hadn’t had a chance to sit down all night. Absolutely uncalled for. It’s their job! For this very reason, one of my sisters hired an extra layer so we would have a private caretaker in the room overnight with my mother. We ended up getting her discharged a little earlier than they recommended. So we could get mom home and continue her therapy there. Would not choose this facility again.

Experiencia fantástica: Our family cannot say enough wonderful things about Advanced Health Care of Aurora! My aunt has been receiving care here, and we’ve been incredibly impressed with the facility and staff. From the cleanliness and organization to the quality of therapy and attentiveness of the team, everything has exceeded our expectations. We want to give special thanks to: - Physical Therapist Lisa, who has been phenomenal at managing and owning my aunt's therapy and recovery. - Occupational Therapist Heather, whose coaching and positive, friendly demeanor have been truly motivating. - Coco and Caledonia, for their incredible service and for making both my aunt and our entire family feel welcomed and cared for. - RNs Gaurab and Dan, for their exceptional medical care. Gaurab’s bedside manner is second to none, and Dan’s attentiveness and thoroughness have been so appreciated. - Ryan in the kitchen, who has gone above and beyond to ensure my aunt receives the right meals to help her regain her strength. The entire staff has shown such dedication, compassion, and professionalism. Experiencia fantástica: I am posting this review without hesitation. I ended up in the E.R. With pulmonary Embolisms (blood clots) that were unbelievably large with 13 regular sized clots. I should have died. I had been in bed for five months do to fractures in my back. I was relocated from the hospital to Advanced Health Care. What a great place this is.. I had a lovely private room.. and the staff treat you like family.. the food is delicious, I have to right nice notes to the chef every night for the good meals he creates. The greatest thing about this facility , is that the Physical Therapist has me walking strong again, I feel 10 years younger… so, if you need a place to heal, this is where you should be… take care!

Experiencia negativa: the neglect in this place is unrivaled. absolutely disgusting. my 90 year old great grandmother with heart failure contracted pneumonia within the walls of advanced. not only that, but she was left in full diapers for hours, has had zero help in making progress towards going home, call cord/button was never placed within reach, and has been screamed at for asking for basic care. if you value your family members, bring them somewhere safer

Experiencia fantástica: My mother in law was in need of rehab after a fall. Thus place has been absolutely amazing. The staff has been kind, understanding, and more than we could ask for. Private rooms. Very clean. The food has been good. We rest easy knowing she's in good hands.

Experiencia negativa: Atrocious experience with this facility. I had to request an early discharge for my 84 year old mother due to the incompetents of the staff. Multiple times the call light was not working. One night she was helped to the restroom, placed on the toilet and the attendant exited the room and failed to return. Another time the pull cord in restroom was used to summon help but went unanswered for an unacceptable amount of time. Left the window open one night causing a substantial drop in the room temperature. Rarely followed through with promised actions. Difficult just getting a glass of water at times. Poor communication with patient and family. Very limited discharge instructions. Was like they wanted her out the door as quickly as possible. Do yourself and your loved one a favor. Find a better facility.

Experiencia fantástica: Advanced Care of Aurora did a fantastic job with my 84 year old mother, who broke her hip and needed a rehab-only place. First of all, the place is light, spacious, pretty--aesthetically uplifting. The grounds are well maintained and there are nice spaces for visitors to sit, inside and outside the facility. There is free wifi. My mother, who is fairly particular about her care, had no complaints about the staff; indeed, she was uniformly very positive about everyone. The care was professional, attitudes were upbeat and constructive, and she never complained about people not responding to her calls for help or information. The facility takes Medicare and is located in an area of Aurora that is fairly easy to get to.

Experiencia negativa: If I could rate this facility less than one star I would. The care, communication and food are terrible. The so called skilled nurses stood next to each other and chuckled and asked each other if they were doing the wound care properly. When selecting this facility we were reassured they were skilled and knew how to care for wound vacs and ostomy bags. On another occasion the nurse by the name of Alvin took over an hour to respond to the call light and then proceeded to bring the ostomy supplies in and threw them on my mother’s bed, laughed and walked out when he was supposed to help change it due to it leaking and her being too weak/sick to change on her own. They put gravy on all their food making it unbearable to eat and one day they completely forgot about her lunch. Once she was able to get ahold of them to bring her food. She asked for fruit. They said they would check. They returned indicating they didn’t have any and said they would bring her a sandwhich. When the actual food came they said you get a chicken Caesar salad, that’s all we have. She isn’t even supposed to eat lettuce but nobody looked at any dietary restrictions. This care and service is absolutely unacceptable. I’ve tried reaching management and they won’t return my call. I would NEVER recommend this facility not even to my worst enemy. My mother was far weaker when she came home then when she went in to the rehab facility.

Experiencia fantástica: Was a patient March to April 2021. The entire staff was the best I’ve ever had and I’ve been in a lot of hospitals and rehab facilities. Even with the Covid-19 restrictions the staff were the best, efficient, friendly and went out of their way to take care of me as if I was the only patient there. Thank you. Patient was Eva Rozack my mother in law.

Experiencia fantástica: I have to say that my family and I were very happy and pleased with the care they gave my mom in her final weeks with us. They were there for us 24/7. The nurse came out in the middle of night when mom fell and had a bad cut on the side of face. They took the time to do all the leg work in helping me find the right placement where my mom could get the care need. Thank you Advance Home Health and Hopspice I would recommend your company to other in need of hospice care.

Experiencia fantástica: My Mom was at DIA when she had a heart attack after a stay in the hospital she needed extended care. We didn’t want her in a elder care home. The hospital referred this facility and I’m so happy to say it was a great experience for her. The staff was wonderful and so caring. After being released to come to my home in Denver they sent their home health team to help her regain her ability to return to her own home. Thank you to all those who made her stay comfortable.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a knee replacement about 7 years ago and ended up in this great place after surgery because of low blood pressure not allowing me stand very long. The entire just as nice and helpful as you could ask for . Great food menus to choose from and very well prepared meals. If you need to be in a place like this choose this one . I will have back surgery soon and hope to go back here for recovery !

Experiencia positiva: This place looks great. I thought I was in a hotel. However, in PT they are more worried about their schedule, then you. I asked if I could reschedule my PT from 10am to 11am. Because I was in a lot of pain and didn’t receive my pain meds. At 11am the OT person informed me that I throw the schedule off because I didn’t come at 10am. I tired to explain that I was in pain she would not listen she was so concern about keeping things on schedule. Things don’t always run on schedule when you are dealing with people sick and in pain. Then one night I waited 45 minutes before anyone answered my call light. I was in so much pain. The same thing happened once during the day, I wanted 35 minutes for someone to answer call light and I was in pain. I can sight other things but all I will say is , they say they are a five star facility but it’s not true. Sometime a few people can spoil the whole. Thanks, PM Aurora, CO

Experiencia fantástica: A True Resort Spa After falling late October,I was at this Aurora facility for 24 days after total hip replacement surgery. The dining room setting,food,private room,and all staff were great. The PT by Kellie at facility,and Lindsey at my son's home,and the OT by Christie, were all exemplary. I wanted to stay the full 100 days via Medicare,but the therapy provided me got me back and walking,and no need for further treatment. Also,Jerri who dispensed meds and CiCi in dining room,always had smiles,like many more names I haven't mentioned.

Experiencia fantástica: I recommend this facility with highest confidence. The staff are a high performing team. PT and OT are amazing and work with you to meet all your goals. Shout out to Kathy B and Sigi M for your outstanding support! The CNAs are very responsive and always willing to help. The nurses are some of the best I've ever had the pleasure to have help me. Housekeeping never stops cleaning, and the food is really good. If you get something you don't like, they willingly will get you a replacement choice. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

From the moment we walked in and talked to Javier about billing, to the PT and OT team of Siggi and Kelsey- these guys are the best of the best when it comes to helping someone get back on their feet. I will be forever grateful to the staff at Advanced Health Care who cared so deeply for my Mom and also for my family.

Experiencia negativa: It was a very nice place to work when Nathan was the DON and now that Daniel Cortez is the DON a lot of people left because so many things changed , always short staff , the kitchen is always missing something to complete menus with poor personality that guy has with his employees .. will never work for him again !!

Staff was always avail and helpful. ..dining services were excellent in providing meals as requested.. overall the place was kept very clean and in order..

Experiencia negativa: Very disappointing. The place looks nice, and puts on a good show. Yet, when you spend more than a few hours a day there for several days, you realize they are short staffed, and ill trained. They might be "okay," with someone with a broken arm or hip. However, my mother had a sever brain injury. The majority of the staff were not skilled enough to help her. The OT and physical therapist were good. The speech therapist was very condescending. The staff who worked in the kitchen were very nice and more polite than the CNAS. The CNAS would life my mother out of bed and throw her in the shower without even talking to her or treating her well. The first day I was there, I noticed they did not change her for five hours. My sister observed one time while she was the toilet, the CNAS did not clean my mom or provide and hygiene care. There was one male RN that was nice and skilled. All the other RN's seemed to have no idea what they were doing. It was very difficult to get assistance. My mother was going downhill for a few days. My sister, who is an RN had to insist they give our mother some fluids and run some tests. The nurse putting in the IV for the fluids had to go back to the supply room five times to get the right needle. Then, she didn't even know how to insert it. My sister had to help her. We had to request a urine test. They wanted to get my mother on the toilet to do so. However, my sister had to tell them my mother blood pressure was getting so low, it was dangerous to sit her up. Thus, my sister had to tell them to do a straight catheter to test the urine. They had great difficulty doing that. I am not skilled in the health care field, and I was shocked when the nurse asked me to help. Finally, that night, I asked the nurse when we would see the results of the test. We were told it would not be until after the weekend. The Dr. left the facility without communicating that to us, nor checking in on our mom before leaving. My mom was burning up with a fever and becoming more and more unresponsive. There just happened to be an admitting Dr. standing by the desk. I had to be very assertive and practically beg for her to see mom. She was slightly familiar with my mom. She commented on how she had met her during dinner one night. After an hour, the Dr. finally came to my mother room. She took one look at my mom and called 911. The result was my mom had urinary tract infection that went septic. She then got pneumonia, She was in ICU for a week and half and then on the floor for a few days. They took my mom's belongings and stuffed them in garbage bags. We lost many items. If they would have called us, we would have gladly come back and packed up our mother things. When my mother was going to released from the hospital, and ready to back to rehabilitation, they initially lied and said they did not have room. However, we knew another family there and knew there were rooms. Then they said they would not accept her back. If my mother would have received better hygiene care, and faster better quality care leading up to the infection becoming septic, ICU and everything could have been avoided. It is unacceptable that we had to be so assertive to get our mother medical care.
