Experiencia fantástica: My appointment was at 2pm but I was able to come in a bit early. They took me in and I was about within about 1/2 hour. I was very happy and satisfied with the prompt service including X-rays to confirm a sprain and not a fracture. The online check in makes it easier to check in without having to complete so much paperwork. Excellent service.

Experiencia fantástica: Emily is a one of a kind P.A., we should start witch her patient advocacy. I tend to have what common folk call ‘white coat syndrome’ and the way she approached me was nothing short of comfort and understanding a trusted new friend, something I’ve never experienced in a professional medical office. I was at a loss of words at one point due to my anxiety and she was able to form the words I meant to say just by suggestion. She gave me all my options up front and never pushed one way or another but just listened to me. We quickly convened on a personalized treatment plan with all information discussed and reasoned through. If the score is 05/05, she easily deserves at the minimum 05/100 or more!

Experiencia fantástica: I was carrying a suitcase down stairs and on the last step I felt a "pop". My leg went out from under me and I was in agony. Fortunately, they got me in on the same day. I saw Emily, who was very patient and understanding. She examined my leg and explained that I had strained my hamstring. She explained how to treat it until I could get PT. Experiencia fantástica: I have had a very positive and productive experience with Ventura Ortho Center. I went in through their urgent care office, had xrays that indicated I had no ruptured disc or bone spurs to my back, just a bad sprain. Dr. Ghilarducci evaluated me for sciatica and ordered Physical Therapy. He was very patient and re-assuring that I could heal from this. My therapist, Ehsan is very professional, serious about his work and a good listener. He explains every step so I understand the importance of doing the exercises correctly. Other assistants; James, Tony, Breanna, Aileen, Rene, Santiago, and Crystal have supported me through my healing with their expertise and good humor. Sarah, PT who filled in while Ehsan was out on business, also was very impressive in her approach. A great group of caring people who are dedicated to their craft. It was super busy when we went so we didn't see Dr Armstrong until 45 mins after our actual appointment time, which was fine since we had nothing else for that day. Other than that, we (me and my son) were very happy with our experience at Ventura Orthopedics - Oxnard. Dr Armstrong was really professional, nice and explained a lot about my son's injury and what it will take for him to heal. Edited to add: The office is very quick to respond. Experiencia fantástica: Andrew Armstrong III, PA-C, MPAS, provided exceptional medical care to me. My work experience as a nurse anesthetist surrounds me by many orthopedic providers amongst other physicians and physician assistants. I have to say I wish I could work alongside Mr. Armstrong. He was very thorough in his assessment, had outstanding bedside manners, was diligent in his prescribed treatment and made sure follow-up care was scheduled. He found antibiotics that was both safe for my 2 month old (to receive via breast milk) and effectively treated my infection. I am 24 hour out from the start of treatment and I have seen significant improvement. It’s wonderful to be able to receive appropriate care while also feeling cared about. I will definitely be recommending their office and Andrew Armstrong to my loved ones.

FYI the reason he performed more than 1 surgery was because the things I had were reoccurrences. The team is very professional from front desk throughout the entire visit, X-rays etc. I'm happy to give them 5 stars.

Experiencia fantástica: Emily Sim had reviewed my chart before talking to me. At least she knew who I was. She did a thorough exam and spoke expensively to my daughter and myself. I knew everything she had said as I've had to see many Orthopedic Dr's. However she did help me by starting me on an anti-inflammatory medication that I had never tried before. I felt she was competent and friendly. I would definitely see her again if needed.

Experiencia negativa: Dr Zeman couldn’t find what was causing my knee pain and put me on medication that has stomach bleeding side affects. He said insurance wouldn’t approve my MRI until I take the medication for a month. My family doctor submitted request for MRI and got it approved.
