Experiencia fantástica: I am so grateful that I found POW PT and Dr.Jen. I am doing much better and so thankful! Dr. Jen takes your care much further by explaining and breaking down the steps, including your breathing, so you get the most out of therapy. It’s truly one on one and you aren’t passed off to an assistant. Dr. Jen is friendly and makes you comfortable. The office is calm and inviting. Veronica at the front desk is lovely. It is a gem!

Experiencia negativa: It was so difficult to get appointments here and when I did get appointments, half the time they would cancel on me, last minute. The inconsistency here, the price and I don't feel like this is a good place for pelvic floor help. This also is not the place to go if you're a stay at home parent or if you work. They constantly put me on a wait-list but if you can't just drop everything and go in at moments notice you will never get seen by a doctor! The front desk lady is so rude, grumpy and off putting, that alone was enough to make me not want to come back. It was expensive and I didn't get any actual help here. I'd never recommend this place.

Experiencia fantástica: Matt and Jen are the BEST!! Super friendly and very knowledgeable. They are very hands on, extremely thorough, and have a great understanding of how the body functions. I went to them for a shoulder issue that I'd been having for a few months and they were instantly able to help me identify the issue. We did some treatment and they demonstrated some exercises to help me fix minor things in my posture. Definitely feeling better now. Thank you again... Dr. B

Everyone, from owners Matt and Jen Evans, to my personal therapists Michele and Tori, to Veronica and the supporting staff were fabulous. They offer one on one therapy with a therapist, not directed therapy with an assistant doing the hands on work. What a difference that makes! I’ve returned to full mobility and am back to swimming again. Simply the best physical therapists in Ventura.

Experiencia fantástica: POW Physical is The Best of The Best! Prior to POW Physical Therapy, I have been to three different therapy offices for the same issue. I suffer from neck issues and it would take its toll in my sleep and continued to limit my daily activities. To say the least I was completely miserable in dealing with chronic pain and thought that this is just how life is and I would always be in pain. I was at another physical therapists office in town for two years and I could not heal what was going on with my body. My mother-in-law gave rave reviews about POW, so I decided to try them out. They are AMAZING! First of all, I was super impressed that each physical therapist stays with each client for the entire hour of treatment. This was not the case with the other places, where I would only spend a half an hour with the therapist and then I would work with someone else. The level of detailed service is incredible! Plus they gave me different exercises to take home that were far more effective than the ones I had previously been given. But, here is the real kicker that proves they are far above and beyond any other organization, they determined it was never really my neck; it was my jaw that was causing all the headaches, pain and lack of sleep. Having been to three different places before and not one coming to that conclusion, really tells you that they really are the best of the best. They really focus on the whole body and not just where you are experiencing localized pain. Mind blown. If you want incredibly tailored programs where you feel heard by experts in the physio area, then as fast as you can, book an appointment! Your body will thank you. POW physical therapists are truly life changers and I am so grateful for them.

She is extremely helpful with my recovery and always willing to educate me with ways to heal faster. She is kind, compassionate and a joy to come see after work. Experiencia fantástica: I feel so fortunate to have been referred to Jen and Matt at POW. I am recovering from total hip replacement surgery where I also fractured my hip joint. If it were not for these two compassionate Physical Therapists, I would probably still be curled on my couch. They continue to work with me at just the right pace and continue to show me gentle and effective ways to strengthen muscles, stretch, work with the scar tissue, and with my walking gait. They are both knowledgeable and explain the hows of what to do and what to avoid in simple language. I highly support their facility, POW. Thanks again Jen and Matt!

I am a physical therapist with a manual therapy background, and therefore I have what I would consider high standards for manual therapy and customer service. I pay out-of-pocket to come to this clinic and would do so every time because of the high quality of care I receive at every visit. I have seen Matt for an orthopedic injury and Jen after a Traumatic birth injuryAnd they are both the best in their field.Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Jen and Lauren are awesome. I went to POW because I had severe lower back pain and with their help and the excercises they gave me my pain has improved a lot. I am now able to work out which is something I couldn’t do before. I am so glad I was referred to POW and highly recommend it.

Experiencia fantástica: I am so thoroughly pleased with the staff and therapists at POW. I have been referred to numerous physical therapists in Ventura County over the 18 years I've lived here, to treat my chronic back issues. POW's Pilates-based therapy is hands down, the most effective treatment I've had access to. Not only have their therapists helped with my pain management, I have noticed significant improvement with the strength of my abdominal muscles, which is critical to maintaining a healthy back. I appreciate the instruction for do-at-home exercises, and also their advice regarding the correct way to perform every day tasks and implement an anti-inflammatory diet (Mediterranean) that so easy and delicious - I don't feel deprived at all, and now have the attitude that I can help myself/my back by just eating the good-for-me foods. The weight loss has been an effortless benefit, and much appreciated! The therapists are highly trained and experienced, not to mention all-around wonderful folks. I actually look forward to every appointment.
