Experiencia negativa: Worst place you can go to if you have a serious issue. Avoid it, don't have to take my word on it, just look at the other reviews. Dr.Rodriguez needs to change his career.
Experiencia negativa: This place is so unprofessional. You will be sitting here for almost an hour waiting to be seen. The staff is so rude doesn’t even say hi to you. Ignores all of your questions and concerns.

Experiencia fantástica: I'm leaving this review because I was in a dire situation, needing a catheter to void my bladder because I am a L-1 spinal cord injury and I had left my backpack with all my medical supplies 2 hours away at home. I went to 5 other urgent cares and even several hospitals with ER's and no one would provide a simple catheter to me. It's not like I was asking for medication. Others wanted to check me in, sit and wait to be seen by a doctor. It was sad to say the least. So disappointing that these other facilties couldn't just provide that for me in great need. From the grace of God and caring of this urgent care they provided one for me! I was able to the bathroom and stay in Oxnard to watch my son play his club soccer game. Still a long drive back home but that was all I needed to enjoy the day. Thank you very much for your compassion for people in need and overlooking all the bureaucracy that prevent care for the simplest of need. Peace be with you!

Experiencia negativa: Although Dr.Shuman is a great doctor the way her employees schedule and run her office is very unorganized and careless to peoples time. I am a working parent of two boys I took time off work to get my 2 year old to1230PM appt and was waiting for doctor for over hour. I then let nurse know I was going to need to leave since I had to go pick up my other child from school in 30 mins. The nurse then said Dr.Shuman would be in to see my son in ten mins I waited another 30 mins at that point I could no longer wait since my son would be out of school any min. While walking out I seen Dr.Shuman in an office on what seemed to be a conference call. I was very upset why was my child scheduled at 1230 if she was going to take a conference call and why was I told in ten mins she be in to see my son. I waisted my time and lost money just to have to reschedule and now lose all that a second time. This office should of called to reschedule my sons appt before we arrived since they clearly knew she had other prioritys
Experiencia negativa: Bad customer service the nurse was rude, and told my husband he flunked his eye exam and he was not going to pass his medical exam.( Before he saw the MD. ) And she was not a doctor she influenced her superior and she was a ma not the person to make dr decisions. Didn’t help him at all was inconsiderate to his feeling and didn’t let him finish his test. Don’t go here you will pay for nothing ps went else we’re and they passed him and we’re also friendly.
Experiencia fantástica: This Urgent Care is great! The staff is kind, respectful, and efficient. Dr Reding is the best! He knows his stuff. He is quick with a diagnosis and he’s right every single time. He helped my children with sports injuries and also diagnosed my son’s appendicitis. Forever grateful and won’t go to any other Urgent Care!
Experiencia fantástica: Had an appointment with the PA and we were seen within 10 minutes! Vicky Bobadilla is amazing. She not only did a check-up but helped educate us on what to look out for, what to do in certain situations, and preventative measures which I feel a lot of providers seem to forget that doing the smallest things can help a long way.

Experiencia negativa: Not sure if they converted their restrooms into examination room, it doesn’t look like a professional clinic, this looks so awful. Staff is always rude and looks like they hate this place and work here too.

Be transferred around all over the place just for a medication refill stayed on the line for 20 minutes in the hopes of getting my issue resolved just to be hanged up on! Clinic staff SOME are rude who takes the beanie off of your kids head without even telling them nothing been waiting inside for an hour and a half just for a medication refill and when asked how much longer the lady response was “we are backed up we have patients in and out” I explained I’m here for a medication refill only to be told to “relax” like I’m sorry I was not being rude at all and that was her response instead of brining it up to the attention of the attending physician or something honestly done with this place

Experiencia positiva: To reach someone on the phone make sure to press 3, if not, it will either keep hanging up on you or transfer you to CMH. I called them 4 times then figured it out and it’s the # ending in 85
Experiencia fantástica: I broke my arm. The whole staff was fantastic! Quick care. The X-ray tech was super. The Physician was wonderful. They treated me very well!
Experiencia fantástica: Hmm.. Lots of bad reviews. However I had a great experience! Also I did go in right at 8am without an appointment and everyone was friendly. They got straight to the point no nonsense. The urgent care Dr. was actually better than my primary care doctor.. I would say if you can get there early and avoid the lines and get the staff when they are fresh this urgent care was fine.

Experiencia fantástica: I took my 3year old son who had a cut on his foot and his skin peeled off which left me concerned as he complained about pain and I was afraid it would get infected. When I arrived I came across a nurse named Brenda whom I explained what happened and she was super helpful!! And caring about my son ! I did exactly as she instructed and my son is now pain free and his wound looks better! My son said “ thank you mommy my ouchy doesn’t hurt no more ” but no THANK YOU Nurse BRENDA!! I’ll definitely be returning in future needs!

Experiencia positiva: Come here if you want to waste time. This is without a doubt the slowest hospital I have ever been to and should probably slow their enrollment. The receptionists do take time and don't give the courteousness to acknowledge your existence when when waiting even when several of them are just sitting there ( I'm not naive, I've spent my share of time doing medical scheduling). Once in the room prepare to spend atleast a hour to see the doctor since this is obviously the most efficient way to do things... Just save the trouble and go somewhere else especially when needing to schedule an appointment. DONT go to the urgent care unless your able to painlessly wait since the er might still be faster. ...Just go somewhere else...but if you do get seen I've always had a good experience with the nurse and Dr.s

Experiencia negativa: This review is not on the doctor who did there job as professionally as possible, this is on what I heard upon leaving the clinic. A resident tech/nurse/assistant was laughing and telling the same doctor that assisted me, that a 7 year old came in for anxiety. That is nothing to laugh about. She implied that a 7 year old child couldn't have anxiety. She had no idea what could be going on in their life. It was disgusting and while not a hippa violation as she didn't name the patient, it goes against what people in the Healthcare industry are supposed to be about. And while I'm at it, there was a lot of poor customer service from the reception. This whole staff needs some retraining on how to handle patients and be respectful.
Experiencia negativa: Brought my elderly mother for an unrelated COVID-19 matter. The two receptionists handed out the same clipboard and pen to everyone checking-in without sanitizing them. Furthermore, one of the receptionist had her mask on with her nose exposed, which was a green light for another patient to do the same. I wish that I could at least commend them for Kindness and compassionate customer service, but my “good morning” went unanswered when I checked in my mother. Considering that there was two other patients at the time, I can’t blame their lack of customer service on being busy. Overall a negative experience. Would not recommend!

Experiencia negativa: Been tested for TB 2 times a year for 10 years to fulfill work requirements. This place has taken the longest to get my simple test read ever and there are more staff present than patients. Took an hour for someone to look at my arm. Took a long time just to get a copy of the test. Can't stand incompetence.

Experiencia negativa: On 1/3/2020 I had to take my 5 month old daughter into the ER. Next morning I called multiple times letting it ring over and over, then disconnect on me and id have to call back again till finally after 1 hour I was able to get ahold of someone. I was told that I would have to wait till the following week for an appt. I told them okay the ER is telling me I need to get in ASAP but if we could check with the doctor to see if she thinks its fine to wait till Thursday then I will happily wait. she tells me that some babies who were in the hospital like mine can't see her till 1/23/20. I'm thinking okay? I'm not other people and what was going on with my daughter was very alarming and I'm sure other babies didn't have. But they happened to fit me in for Tuesday 1/7/2020 which I happily took. so here we are the day of her appt. I was told her appointment was for 2:30pm over the phone. As I opened my messages to call them to let them know I was running 5 minutes late to my 230 appointment (so I was told) it showed her appointment was for 2:20pm. so as I'm driving over there I'm calling over and over again. NOT ONE ANSWER FROM SOMEONE TO LET ME KNOW THEY WOULD STILL SEE ME OR LET ME KNOW NOT TO DRIVE OVER THERE!! I run in very apologetic letting them know I was so sorry and that I was trying to call. the medical assistant has SUCH an unhappy look on her face all the time and is not friendly at all! she then tells me that I won't be seen since I'm 15 minutes late. I explained about the time and she says yeah we can reschedule for next week. I said next week? my daughter was just in the ER, I need to make sure that this sore is healing? is there anyone who can at least look at it and tell me if its healing and then I can wait till my rescheduled appointment with at least little peace of mind. she said no again. I started to ask her another question but she CUTS ME OFF MID SENTENCE AND WALKS AWAY FROM ME! I couldn't believe she just did that. after she came back she said again the doctor will not see anyone who is late for their appointment. I asked is there anyone else that can look at it. she says yes the doctors nurse Reina can. I said yes I'm more then happy if she could do that. she called her and told me to sit and wait. (keep in mind every word she says to me is with complete attitude and a shitty look on her face.) I asked her for the clinic managers name and number which she pointed towards somewhere and said I can get myself a card on the wall. So I go to the wall and find about 10 business cards. I walk back over to her and ask her ok what is his name, which business card is it? she said it should be there and I said well it isn't. at this point I couldn't deal with how she was talking to me so YES I did start giving her an attitude! she then went and fumbled around and finally gave me a card. she says " just so you know he's not even in today." I told her that's fine because I will get ahold of him and speak with him. after Reina comes to the window she can't even check on my daughters sore and just plainly apologizes, she says I was late there is nothing they can do. I explained that I have been calling and she didn't seem to care one bit. I told her how unhappy I am with how I've been talked to and treated and still didn't do anything for me. As I was walking out a lady was telling me she was tired of their shit and waiting to speak with a manager! These girls are so disrespectful and don't have any customer service skills! this is just one experience! It will take them 2 months to take care of something that is only supposed to take 1-2 weeks. I also had dealings with an Evelyn (who supposedly handles authorization request/referrals) she as well was disrespectful to me. I have filed a report with Gold Coast Health Plan, and also left a voicemail for Oscar Morales who is the clinic manager. Dr Shuman was great but I will not deal with being treated like this so we are now changing her doctor.

Experiencia negativa: I needed an appointment for my son, I had just moved up to the area. I called and the soonest was a month and a half later. Which sucked, but I understood clinics are usually pretty full. Well I get a text as a reminder about a week before, cool, I didnt look at it until the Monday before my Friday appointment just to read that they rescheduled me for a month out. At this point I give them the benefit of the doubt, machines mess up dates and times all the time. I call and sure enough they rescheduled me. My child wasnt even going to be in the state and had already been waiting for his appointment for to long. I took off work, scheduled plane tickets and vacation time all around and for this appointment. I would of been more understanding if I would of recieved a call letting me know of the situation, but nothing.

Experiencia positiva: I have been taking my children to this Urgent Care facility for years. There are some amazing doctors here that truly care. (3 stars for the good doctors) My child has been sick with the flu this week. I had to bring him in 2 times this week. The second time we came in we had unfortunate experience of having to see Dr. Erin DeMaio. She is a very stubborn doctor. She said " you don't want to miss too much school. He'll be fine to go to school tomorrow because he doesn't have a fever. Where do you want me to send his prescriptions?" Then she proceeded to walk out of the room .But he has a sore throat, ear ache, hoarse voice, bloodshot eyes, watery eyes, congested, and coughing non-stop. He was not ready to go to school the next day he was running 102.9 fever.
Experiencia positiva: While it can get very busy, and loud due to lack of parental controls on children, the staff are friendly, caring and efficient. I have been 3 times, once for my daughter and twice for myself. Only once was the wait very long and that was on a Saturday afternoon, so to be expected. All doctors I saw were fantastic and my only complaint is we were left waiting in the room only to discover we were done. Wasn't their fault entirely, just different procedures than what we were used to. I highly recommend, however try to go early on the weekends.
Experiencia negativa: Got here 10 minutes before 8 pm whichbis their closing time and the desconsiderate lazy irresponsible Dr.Sylvanna Gudiotti decided she would not take anymore patients...why in the world would you take an oath if you won't honor it and CMH needs to honor their opening hours as well. Very disappointed and overwhelmed with this people.
Experiencia negativa: The waiting time in the waiting lounge can frequently be an hour. So you get called into the exam room and you soon find out the wait is far from over. This might only be for "pain management". It gets painful
Experiencia negativa: This place smells, long wait, dirty, new doctor is very rude. New doctor told me he only had 15 mins because he had 20 patients behind me. Told him I have asthma and shortness of breath. He told me why did I go there that I should have gone to the hospital. I told him I needed a breathing treatment. It's not a emergancy. He told me if it happens again not to go there to go to the hospital. He sent me away. Went to hospital for a breathing treatment. Loved Dr. Jones, but is not there any more. Don't go here

Experiencia positiva: Never a long wait for me. I've gone on weekends and weekdays. Doctor I see is super nice. Nice to have an option when you can't get to the doctor. Parking is bad though. Waiting room is a bit stark.
Experiencia negativa: first time patient & worst experience! everyone was so rude starting with the receptionist, the nurse, and the doctor, they were all so unprofessional, had no patience. the "doctor" is not even worthy of that title, didn't answer any of my questions, saying he doesnt know (why is he a doctor then, what is he there for). Experiencia negativa: I am disappointed with the medical group. I was referred to them by my insurance carrier because they had the specialists I needed and who take my insurance. The first Dr. I made an appt. w/ stopped seeing patients in Oxnard, so they rescheduled me to see the specialist in Santa Paula with a two month wait for an appt. 1 1/2 days prior to this appt. I've waited two months for and is vital to my well being, they called to cancel. That Dr. went on medical leave, didn't know when he'd be back and had no other Drs. in their system who could see me. I'm back at square one, wasted three months with this place and still not getting the treatment I need.
Experiencia negativa: Update 4/23/17 I finally received a bill after I spoke with them on the phone. They had the wrong address. The receptionist had several incorrect letters and numbers in my address. I asked for the billing department. She transferred me. At the billing department the rep said to contact my insurance company to verify the charge. I did call Blue Cross of CA and they said sorry for the inconvenience and applied the charges to my regular office visit deductible AND issued a refund as it should have been covered 100%. The billing rep at CFH also said they would contact Century Collections and recall the collection and call me back within 1 week. I haven't heard anything in months and it's still on my credit report gaining interest. I will contact them again today and attempt to resolve again for the 3rd time. Billing is a mess. No letters or phone calls. They billed my insurance incorrectly; they billed as an office visit (80/20) vs urgent care as it should have been(100% coverage). As a result they marked my credit report as a collection for 54 dollars.. ridiculous!

Experiencia negativa: I'm only giving a one star because I can't give anything less than that. I just got off the phone with my little sister who has insurance, but because her insurance card hasn't arrived in the mail these people will not see her?!?! If they do they want her to pay out of pocket, when clearly she is insured. She has a lump on her neck that has now turned into 2 lumps, has been frequently dizzy and you refuse to see her because she doesn't have the card?!? I'm more than disgusted with this place you're calling "URGENT CARE" now what is so urgent about the care you're providing?? I would also like to say that she has her insurance number and a California License, so what is the issue here??
Experiencia negativa: If I could give a negative star i would! We brought my 20 month old in due to rash all over his stomach and a 104 temp! The Dr. Was in for like 4 minutes, very poorly looked in his mouth and ears and said it's just a virus all the kids have right now. They sent us home with a 102 temp! Once we got home my son had a seizure and stopped breathing!! My husband performed cpr and we called 911!! We then went to another hospital and they did blood work, urine, and chest xray! They found out it was NOT just a virus he had inflammation in his lungs, bacteria in his urine, and hand foot and mouth disease!! I feel the terrifying seizure could have been prevented if these people cared to take more time with my son and figure out the problem instead of sending him home and assuming he just had what everyone else had going around!! I'm so saddened and sick to my stomach from the treatment given to my son! Do yourself a favor and go to St.Johns!! They are amazing and figured everything out!

Vineyard Doctor ok but stuff o my god very unprofessional they don't know what to say everyone if the medical nurses they say they own way that is not suppose to happen every medical team should work together when they start it it was fine and after a while disaster

Experiencia negativa: after calling to confirm my insurance i was told i could be seen for my asthma emergency. they had me waiting for over 20 minutes just to tell me i needed to see my primary care. i had already explained that they couldnt see me this month, i was having difficulties now. they turned me away as i was not on a high end insurance plan. had i had cash in hand im sure they would have managed to do the job they are paid to do. with a nearly empty waiting room, now i see why.
