From getting carts to bring in stuff for my mom to getting deliveries late at night that I have ordered on Lin. She goes out of her way to help family member and all with a beautiful smile on her face

Experiencia fantástica: This has been a fabulous journey that I have been on at aspire at Palm bay. Everyone has been very helpful and kind during my rehabilitation and I would recommend them highly if you find yourself in a situation where you need rehabilitation and good quality Care. It's been a really good experience especially the physical therapy group I can't say enough good things about the caring and assistance that these people gave me to get back to my normal life.

Experiencia negativa: The Palms let my mother go without oxygen for over 24hrs meanwhile she was in end stage COPD. Had I not come and checked in on her because it was 2pm and she was "sleeping" since the previous day, she would've died as she was in respiratory failure at that point. She had fell out of bed 2 weeks before that too so i knew something wasnt right. The lack of oxygen for any extended length of time can cause anoxic injury and she spent her last days alive brain damaged because her CNA told me she "didnt know she needed constant oxygen and her oxygen concentrator stopped working yesterday and she was waiting for a doctors order to get her a new one." Health care facilities need serious revision around here. I made a ton of noise and nobody seemed to gaf. They just changed the name of their facility to Aspire. Please don't ever send a loved one to this facility. I have to pass this facility daily because I live in the area and it breaks my heart every time, my mom passed last year. Time doesn't heal the wound of shame for getting your loved one incompetent "help."

Experiencia negativa: I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the living conditions at your facility, ASPIRE, previously known as The Pines.,where my brother John is This nursing home and rehab center is located on Babcock Street in Palm Bay, Florida. Recently, I returned from a 4 1/2-week absence due to a family emergency elsewhere in the state. Upon visiting my brother, I was shocked and appalled by what I encountered. The entire facility reeked of urine, and the smell was overpowering. However, the most distressing situation was in my brother’s room. It was infested with flying bugs—hundreds of them—covering his bedding, windows, and even the floors. The lid to his cup of water and the straw on his bedside table was also infested To add insult to injury, the facility was without air conditioning, at least the wing, where my brother is located. The humidity level was almost unbearable. I can only imagine that this exasperated any and all bacteria growing on all the surfaces. Not to mention the discomfort that the patients must be experiencing living in these conditions. It is my understanding that the AC has not worked for weeks.  When I spoke to my brother, he indicated that this situation had been ongoing for about a week after I left town. As a concerned family member, I took pictures and videos to document the severity of the issue. As someone who values honesty, integrity, and quality care, I implore you to address this matter urgently. Residents deserve a safe andj hygienic environment, and I trust that you will take immediate action to rectify these unsafe and unhygienic conditions.

Experiencia fantástica: I really don’t comment but after seeing the negative views I had to write my view. My brother had a stroke and was placed at this facility. I actually love this place for him. He is being cared for by caring people. I often go there to cut his hair and buy him snacks. Of course he wants to come him but unfortunately I can’t care for him. I highly recommend this place for anyone love ones. Food is great and the place is nice and clean. If ur love ones are in any facility you need to play a role and get involve with their care. Don’t be so quick to complain. Do ur part and u will get good results ! Be thankful bc if u can care for ur love ones u would.

Experiencia fantástica: I came here on a long term basis the aids and nurses are very nice. The one person I really connected to is Jill, you can tell she cares. Jill checks in on me at least twice a day to make sure I’m okay and helps me when I need something. This place feels like home. I highly recommend Aspire at Palm Bay.

Experiencia negativa: Am here now trying to get my loved one some outside time out front of the facility with out leaving and it's an act of congress only to be rudely told by the receptionist in the front she's not getting fired for anyone.. you're worried about getting fired but don't mind how you speak to a resident or their loved one? Make that make sense.. Also the nice nurse Lady named Linda was very helpful and helped us get outside for a visit.. thank you for being kind in a not so kind place!

Experiencia fantástica: The Staff at Aspire have been the kindest and most helpful people I've ever dealt with in many long years of dealing with family health problems. Having dealt with many other facilities in the area , I can say that Aspire is by far the best in the business. Jill escpecially made one of the toughest decisions my family and I ever faced into a smooth transition. Thank you Aspire!

Experiencia fantástica: Aspire at Palm Bay is really good, the people are very nice and I enjoy the arts and crafts and getting together, and getting to know other patients on a more personal level. The people from the rehab are kind and patient with me. Another positive thing that happened during my stay here is that I have rekindled my penchant for arts and crafts and plan on continuing when I am strong enough to discharge. Social services put me in contact with a company that helped me find a great new apartment close to my daughter. I also want mention, Jill, the lady that checks in on me every day, she encourages me when I'm depressed and listens when i just need to talk. My experience at this facility has been a blessing! Experiencia negativa: It's okay they need to work on some stuff and take care of their patients better. Also the food is terrible won't feed my animals with it they need better food for these patients they make a lot of money so they should have better food. They also need to hire more people cuz they looks like they're really short staff

Experiencia fantástica: Ok, so let me start, I have never left a review for anyone or any place I have gone in the past. But reading these negative reviews and comments I felt I had no choice but to rate my experience. My mother, who I might add is very ill, and now is 93 years old. has been at this facility Since 2018, not only has she been treated with respect, kindness, and the care that I could no longer provide. The staff, the doctors, and the nurses, have tried to make her feel like this is her home.and in My opinion have done so, I visit her almost every day and sometimes after hours And the things that I witness and I see, are exemplary, from the dinners they have for the families on Christmas and Thanksgiving are wonderful. The food is better than a five star restaurant in my opinion. from bingo to the crafts, And the spur of the moment barbecues are wonderful. Lorna and Michelle In the business office always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of and even to make sure she gets haircuts and takes care of daily needs and helps with everything all these years. I feel she is safe well taking care of and All of her medical needs are met I Am extremely confident in her being there and would not have it any other way !! Hopefully this shed some light on the horrible reviews some other people have left. Carl Libertino

Experiencia fantástica: Mom was sick and was transferred to the Palm for rehab. In the beginning I was skeptical, but when I met the head nurse Elizabeth and the professionalism and care that she gave my mom, I was at ease. Very good care from the therapy to the case manager's Mayra. My mom got better and is at home. Thank you for the services.

Experiencia fantástica: It is never easy for a family member to leave their home and move to skilled nursing/rehab. The facility is clean first and foremost. The food is not home cooking but there are choices at every meal, advocate for your family member if the patient is unable. Dietary will help you. The business office staff are my new best friends. Their knowledge of insurances and payments is outstanding. Every receptionist/switchboard operator is friendly and you are always greeted. The CNAs (Melanie and Antonia) always respond and support all requests the best they can. Social worker (Terri) they need 5 more of her. Danielle who does all the scheduling and transportation is very accommodating to patients needs. Entering skilled nursing is not easy for the family or the patients. Especially after reading prior reviews of The Palms. The one recommendation I would like to see is a mental health component for patients and possibly a group component for family that is run by a family member not staff. SJ

Experiencia fantástica: I want to say that first of all I love the Palms I have lived here for 10 years the staff here treats my with the most respect I have become close to some of the staff I consider them friends one of them is Katie from activities she is a hard worker alot of times she has to work alone I know now things are difficult because of the virus but she is so sweet and truly cares about us we have gotten to know her and her family and have grown to love them all she is very special to m

Experiencia fantástica: The staff is warm and friendly and everyone appears very dedicated to the care of residents. Nursing and Rehab staff are fabulous. I work in the Healthcare industry myself and see how wonderful everyone is here at the Palms Rehab.

Experiencia fantástica: I like everyone who works here they do a very good job. I like the main head staff they're very informative when i meed something done they help me out whenever they can. Experiencia fantástica: My wife had one leg amputated after about 4 weeks they wanted her to stand up on a walker under the infulance of antibotics she couldn't get out of bed they called her insurance company an tryed to cancel her rebilition therpy and started arguments with her i had to get her out run by unprofessional personal who don't care for humans

Experiencia negativa: My stepdad,( who was a Marine) was here and was crying and squeezing my hand. He said they were mean to him and they didn’t clean him. The room smelled like feces so bad and was dark and depressing. He was wearing my moms diamond ring on a gold chain that I purchased for him . (My mom had passed away 8 months before.) He passed away a few days later and my moms diamond ring and chain were not in his belongings. No one seemed to know anything. I wouldn’t leave my dog in this place! If I had any control, I would have taken him out immediately! Do not leave loved ones in this horrible dishonest, disgusting place!

Experiencia fantástica: Been here for 11 years. The staff here are great. The activity depertment is the best Katie, and Alexis go above and beyond for the residents. The therapy department here is amazing they really get to know you as a person. April and Heather are one of the best therapist i have worked with. Donna is also wonderful. Thank you all for everything you do.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been with the palms for 2 years. The staff here are simply amazing. The rehab department got me walking again and the nursing staff will go above and beyond for their residents. I have met many friends here through the activities that held here. COVID has given many hurdles but the people here take the time to get to know you and help you in times of need. I will be forever grateful for making this my home.

Experiencia fantástica: I must tell you about The Palms physical therapy and OT - the team, the equipment, the leadership, the caring AMAZING! Ritchie Chen Foo evaluated my situation after being in ICU almost the entire month of January, Patty Bohr pushed me just the right amount to motivate and inspire me. I believe Tanya is the OT inspired me to keep going. I’ve been to several rehabilitation centers but if I ever have a future need I pray I’m placed at The Palms. Thank you to all the nurses, doctors, CNN’s, helpers, staff, kitchen. I’m going home much stronger and will continue working on the foundation they helped lay!

Experiencia fantástica: This is, by far, one of the best places I've ever worked. The staff are very helpful, the building itself is beautiful, and the atmosphere is very inviting. I highly recommend coming by for a tour.

Experiencia positiva: If it wasn't for Alexa the front door person ..I would have pulled my mom out..Alexa is very upfront and honest. That goes a long way....keep up the great job Alexa hopeful they noticed what your doing and your hard work....because your the best....

Experiencia fantástica: I am a new employee! The Palms has a wonderful orientation program! Management is wonderful. They are resident focused. In orientation we are taught the company focuses on providing excellent customer service amongst many other things. But Even after orientation the same focus on providing excellent customer service is heavily encouraged from management and to each other. I have seen all staff from upper management to CNAs answering call lights as they walk in the halls. I have seen some of the most caring nurses and CNAs The entire team at palms works together to provide outstanding care and services for our residents!

Experiencia positiva: I placed my aunt here for rehab. I'm so glad we did. The rehab. dept. is is wonderful. They made sure she wasn't discharged home until she was able to get around safely on her own. Thank you to the nursing staff for answering all her questions and mine, by monitoring her blood pressure very closely. The cna's were great making sure she was showered and up and dressed on a dialy basis. the facility made it so easy for us to go home they made sure we had all the equipment we needed for her before we even left. If I ever needed them again I would definitely place my family member here. thank you Palms Rehab.
