Experiencia fantástica: The services that I received from Top Tier Sports Medicine at the Harbor City location was excellent! It’s a great medical office which provides a warm , friendly experience from start to finish. Dan and the staff ensured that I was properly informed on my health and PT services. This is my second experience with this location and without them I don’t think I could have gotten through two total knee replacement surgeries. Dan gets it. He provides excellent treatment ; listens and connects with you. None of my questions or concerns were ignored. He always made me feel like a person, not a number. I knew where I stood and what the next steps would look like. I also had the privilege to work with John who holds the same high qualities. I highly recommend this office to anyone in need of a professional, PT services.

Experiencia fantástica: My son is a student at Florida Tech and needed physical therapy after an injury and surgery. We did a lot of research and selected Top Tier. My son had a great experience at the Harbor City Blvd. location. The office staff was terrific and responsive to assist with coordinating insurance and scheduling. His physical therapist John was outstanding. I would recommend Top Tier and would definitely use them again.

Experiencia negativa: If your an actual athlete this is not the place for us been to both offices and was very disappointed with the knowledge and assessment done. Being an active competitor in my sport I figured maybe this place would understand my issues better and help correct them however I spent time wasted by someone just touching me and asking “Why would you do this? I replied “Pretty simple, it’s my job.”

Experiencia negativa: The receptionist is the worst at her job that I have ever experienced! If they want to succeed at their business they need to replace her. When I originally was referred there by my orthopedic office I was told that top tier would call me to schedule an appointment. After days of hearing nothing, I called top tier and the receptionist said they didn’t have paperwork for me even though my orthopedic office confirmed several times that they had sent it. Then when she did find my paperwork she said some was missing, which my orthopedic office then had to send to them again for the third time. When she scheduled my appointment over the phone she told me my appointment was a different time than the time that was on the appointment confirmation text I received days later. I had to cancel an appointment due to COVID isolation and when I called to cancel it she said my appointment was on a different day than what I was told by the therapist. She rescheduled me for the same slot the following week, which I also had to cancel. Then when I called to schedule after the isolation was over she scheduled me for a Friday afternoon which I confirmed was fine, a few days later I received a call from her asking if I wanted to schedule an appointment that Friday because the therapist’s schedule had an opening, I was bewildered because the time she was offering me was the slot that I had already reserved on the phone with her only days earlier. I think nearly every time I had to schedule anything through her it got screwed up. At one of my appointments I swiped the wrong credit card and realized my error while the card was still in the machine, I asked her to cancel that charge so that I could put it on the correct card, which she said she had done, so I then swiped the correct card. A few weeks later I looked at my bank statement and realized the erroneous charge has not been refunded to my account so I had been double charged. I called and asked her to issue the refund and she told me she doesn’t have access to see payment history or payment information and that she can’t refund it. She told me she would call their main office which does the billing and she would let me know how they would resolve this. I still have not heard back from her about getting the refund and it has been two weeks since I requested the refund. The physical therapist Dan was really nice but could not figure out how to resolve my elbow issue, there may be additional underlying causes that need to be addressed with an mri so I think he did everything he could.

Experiencia negativa: Top Tier is only in it for the money and demonstrates zero accountability for their employee’s actions. My wife talked with the front desk person at Top Tier Indialantic who assured her that there would not be any additional charges from seeing the PT other than the co-pay. She has had previous bad experiences with healthcare in the U.S. so she made sure that things were clear before agreeing to see the PT. She is a Spanish citizen so she has the option of buying a flight ticket and doing it at home for free which enables her to visit family while getting medical work done, when the medical cost in the U.S. is higher than a round trip ticket to Madrid it is like a free ticket home compared to what it would of cost in Florida. So after several months we got a surprise bill from Top Tier and when we called the office they directed us to the area manager who wouldn’t stand by their employee’s statement because she said they no longer worked for them. When I confronted her for not standing by her employee’s actions and making excuses for the company she agreed to call the owner to ask but then never called me back.

Experiencia negativa: TERRIBLE lack of followup to schedule an initial appointment for neck and thumb pain after I was hit by a car while biking. After a referral from my primary care doctor and multiple phone calls for all the billing information, days passed without hearing from them about the appointment. So I called them to follow up. I was told that they were STILL WAITING for the owner to approve. Since every day with pain and lack of healing therapy counts, this was inexcusably POOR AND UNCARING SERVICE by so-called "Top Tier" Sports Medicine and I would never recommend them to anyone. I then called Harbor City Physical Therapy and got my appointment in that same first call. What a difference in attitude and professionalism!

Experiencia fantástica: I can't say enough great things about my experience at People PT. Dan is encouraging without being pushy or forceful, the environment is really positive and the staff are all so nice. It is going awesome so far and I am so happy with how I am improving! Thank you so much!
