Amado's team is top notch. From the front office staff to the PT's and PTA's I knew I was in good hands. after nine weeks of PT my knee is well on a path to a full recovery. Experiencia fantástica: It was hard finding a place in the northern end of Brevard county that accepted our insurance and a minor as a patient until I came across A&M Therapy. The staff here are very nice and accommodating. They were very helpful in treating my then 6 year old son’s fractured elbow. I am happy with the results. We drove from Titusville to the Merritt Island location and it was well worth the drive for a much more personable experience, especially with a young child.

Experiencia fantástica: Amado & team brought me through 2 knee surgeries, an arthroscopic & a partial knee replacement, cervical & lumbar issues. They are very competent. They helped me have a better quality of life at a time I almost gave up with Trigeminal Neuralgia. The massage therapists are very competent also. The front desk admin is very friendly, sweet & helpful. Trust me on this one, if you are in need of PT services, I highly recommend A & M Therapy!!

Experiencia negativa: Avoid this place at all costs. On my third visit I was assigned a therapist who had no clue what she was doing. I continued to tell her my therapy was far more advanced than what she was wanting me to do. The exercises she wanted me to perform were basic exercises I received on my 4th day after my knee replacement. I'm in my fifth week of therapy. After voicing my concern to the office manager she contacted the owner, instead of offering me a proper therapy session the only thing they would offer is a discount on any products they sell. A complaint has been filed with my insurance company and investigation underway.

Experiencia fantástica: Super clean, very friendly and the whole team is a wealth of knowledge. There are three fully certified Doctors of Physical Therapy on site working side-by-side with licensed therapists. The Merritt Island office is very active and over the course of several months I was always taken in within 5 mins of my arrival for the appointment; No waiting. If I asked questions, they provided discrete answers that were very solution-based. They followed up with practical, easy to follow exercises and techniques so I could immediately master them and gain relief during the appointment and later at home. They truly care and it shows. I am giving them a 5 Star Highly recommended Review.

Experiencia fantástica: Horrid pain in my hands from herniated disk. Drs just wanted to prescribe more meds. After 9 PT sessions with Dr Mendoza and Brandon the horrid pain is gone. I am off all nerve pain medicine and ibuprofen. My orthopedic Surgeon was impressed and wants me to continue with PT rather than surgery! Highly recommend Dr Mendoza and Brandon for any kind of pain management or ANY kind of PT. -Tammy.

I started at a pt place in Cocoa they were awful then went to another and they were good but A&M physical therapy was absolutely the best place to help with my injury. From the receptionists to the therapists they are/were so kind, so nice they actually care about their patients. The group there is young, very caring and great at what they do plus they're a fun group, incredibly entertaining. When I started with them I couldn't move my head from side to side which made it difficult to drive. I started going there in January three times a week and they made such a difference with the methods they used that I ended up not having to have the neck surgery the spine Dr suggested. I highly recommend A&M physical therapy they are by far the best plus they have more than one office and lots of staff.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone at A&M Therapy was great. They were kind and helpful as we addressed chronic hip issues, using mostly exercises but also TENS therapy and massage. I will go back to them if I ever need to.

Experiencia fantástica: I had the pleasure of being a student intern at A & M Physical and Occupational Therapy and it was a wonderful experience. They were very helpful and always trying to teach me new things and helping me to understand the process. I was fortunate enough to get to observe the doctors do consultations, watch the assistants help patients perform tasks, and helped with setting up equipment and preparing things for the patients. The entire staff is so welcoming and super nice always looking to help the patients and have their best interest at hand. The staff is very professional, friendly and up beat. They try to make your experience as fun and entertaining as possible. This clinic is not just a doctors office filled with staff they're a family and make you feel like you are also part of it. This is one of the best places I have volunteered and if I ever need physical or occupational therapy I will definitely call them.

Experiencia fantástica: I was referred to Armando and his facility after cervical surgery and complications from that. I had total loss of control of my arm. Armando and his fellow doctors/therapists worked tirelessly and almost daily and got my control back. I am today, over a year later, in better condition than I was before the surgery. The first appointment was for me, one of fear of never using my arm again and all that would go with that. In day ONE they told me not to fear and I’d come out fine. Encouragement, laughter, professionalism and hard work proved them correct. It takes work from the YOU but have faith in this staff! You will succeed with their help.

My first visit with Dr Mendoza was not only encouraging for the multiple issues I dealt with, but my first treatment was equally successful in starting me on the right path. I worked with Brandon and Sam while there and both are very qualified Physical Therapist Assistants! I enjoyed my time there as everyone has such a positive and joyful camaraderie with one another, from the front office staff to the back, everyone was a joy to be around. A great atmosphere in which to do your treatment. When I first went in I could barely sit for any length of time, but today I feel like a new woman! I experienced very positive results from the A&M team of therapists but it didn't happen overnight. It took me 4 weeks/2 sessions per week, practicing the teachings at home, and giving them feedback, to start feeling an improvement. In 8 weeks total, I am back to "my normal" again. Highly recommended!

My treatments with Doctor Mendoza have offered me relief from many years of pain. I am always being taught a new method to manage my pain. The entire staff is so friendly and caring. I feel instant stress relief just walking into the clinic because the atmosphere is relaxed & the staff truly cares about the patients. Doctor Mendoza knows his patients on a personal level & ensures that their needs are being met.

Amado does an incredible job of explaining [potential causes of pain, lack of flexibility, etc and also explaining his treatment plan and how the patient can help to prevent recurrences. Emily is an excellent physical therapist. She explains the purpose of each exercise/ stretch and is quick to tailor the exercise/stretch to the patient's ability to perform it. I highly recommend them. I was treated at the Suntree location, but I would seek treatment at either location.

Ever since it first opened up, I was constantly going to get help because I was a fragile butterfly who tried too hard in sports, enough to get hurt often. Being that Amado Mendoza has also been in my life for so long as a strong influence and soccer coach/mentor, I cannot express my appreciation for this place. From strange feelings in my side, to stretched out tendons, to painful feet, and now for surgery recovery, I have had nothing but the best from A&M. The atmosphere is very lively and friendly, and if you don't know how to laugh then I wouldn't recommend this place. They will treat you with the utmost respect and will tend to each and every one of your needs. The front desk has the loveliest of ladies who help me more than I can help myself, and the entire staff (Which has grown since I last came there!) are just magnificent people. I am already in my 5th week after surgery (torn labrum), and I am feeling better than I did 5 weeks after I injured it 3 months ago. I have literally been built from the ground up by Amado and the whole crew, and I don't think I will ever go anywhere else. Thank you so much A&M!
