They are able to diagnose and treat conditions that other doctors have little to no awareness of, and also do an amazing job coordinating information between the other doctors and specialists they’ve recommended me to.

Experiencia fantástica: Would definitely recommend! I am out of state and in a smaller town without access to highly specialized care. After 2 years of struggle, including surgery, I did a virtual consult. Well worth it. I feel the advice she gave may very well turn out to be a correct diagnosis even though she was unable to do a physical exam. She referred me to specialized physicians, and gave me advice on pain medications (which my Dr immediately prescribed), as well as how to modify my exercise. These things should provide some relief while I wait to travel to see her suggested doctors. Her advice also helped me have a conversation with my local Dr. as to what direction we should head, and he is on board with all her suggestions. Bottom line is that it was a relief to get a game plan laid out, with clear direction on what to do next since past efforts to diagnose have not been successful. Highly recommend!

She’s the first person to fully listen to my concerns and symptoms and actually tell me that she could help me. I saw muiltiple doctors over the last two years, I was given meds and told I would have to deal with it. After the first month of PT, I felt a great relief and at 2 months now, I’m almost symptom free. I can’t thank Alexa enough for helping me get my life back.

Experiencia fantástica: My wife has been going to the new Pasadena location for pelvic floor physical therapy for the last few months and I'm so glad she's found them! She has several diagnoses, and they've been able to help with all of them--vestibulodynia, endometriosis, lichen sclerosus and pelvic floor dysfunction. Her main symptoms are pain with sex and urinary urgency and frequency. I've joined her for a few sessions so I can learn how to do some of the stretches and cupping on my wife in between her appointments. Her pt, Stephanie Prendergast, is insanely knowledgeable. Not only does she treat my wife, she also helps her communicate with her doctors as well as provides gentle encouragement and emotional support. She truly provides compassionate, knowledgeable, and holistic care, which is something that has been so hard to find in my wife's search for answers to her pelvic pain. My wife's pelvic floor pain has been an issue for years, and after a session with Stephanie, she's able to have symptom relief for a few days--which is huge and so helpful to her mental health. She's been to other physical therapists in Los Angeles, but Pelvic Health and Rehabilitation really is leagues above. The space itself is so nice, clean, and inviting. And the staff has always been super easy to work with, especially with scheduling appointments (coordinating both my wife's and my schedule can be complicated!). Thank you, Pelvic Health and Stephanie for being a safe place to land for both my wife and me!

Alexa is such a great physical therapist: she is patient, empathetic, and very skilled at finding the root cause of your pelvic pain. She made me feel at ease about the process from the first appointment. What's great about physical therapy at PHRC is that besides the improvement from therapy sessions, Alexa gives you a plan to manage symptoms on your own in-between sessions through various stretching and exercises. Over the course of 12 sessions, the pain that was once so distracting and frustrating in my daily life has drastically improved and is easily managed with all the tools I learned through PT. If you're looking for pelvic floor PT in the LA area, I would highly recommend PHRC Pasadena!

I was afraid to get out of bed because everyday activities would cause more pain. I couldn't sit down anywhere for months. Over the course of 8 months and 22 sessions, Alexa Savitz took me in at my most vulnerable and helped me build the skills, knowledge and confidence to manage my pain. She has always been professional, approachable and patient with my needs and goals, creating an inviting and non-judgmental space to work together. Experiencia fantástica: Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy is well worth the time and money! I came to Pelvic Health and Rehab after suffering 8months of pelvic floor pain after giving birth to my son. Alexa (Dr. Alexa Savitz) guided me over 4 months of healing. I cannot give Alexa enough praise and thanks. She is professional and caring and provided a safe space to help me heal and grow. She listens to your goals and actively helps you reach them! Her sensitivity was key for me and I also appreciated that she pushed me to keep growing in my healing process. She was extremely accommodating to my situation, living 2 hours away, and worked with me to provide sessions that fit my schedule. In addition, Alexa is extremely knowledgable and keeps up on the current research and understanding of pelvic floor health and healing. I trust her 100% which is key is pelvic floor PT. The facility in Pasadena is lovely, with easy access to parking (free on street and access to a paid lot, about $7 if I recall). The rooms are simple, very clean and inviting and I appreciated that Alexa had some light background music playing during our sessions. The front desk staff was always welcoming and helped to make me feel at ease. They are excellent at coordinating your appointments as well. Thank you Alexa and Pelvic Health and Rehab at Pasadena!!

Experiencia fantástica: I don't know what I would have done without Pelvic Health & Rehab and Alexa. I was having urinary frequency, urgency, and couldn't get any sleep at night for months! I couldn't figure out what it was and saw my regular doctors and even despite the appropriate therapies, my symptoms just wouldn't go away. I was miserable for months. Going to PHRC was eye-opening and within 6 weeks to 2 months of consistent therapy - my symptoms improved drastically! I wish more women knew about pelvic health issues and spoke about them because it would help loads of women. I really did have a great experience with them. Alexa was very supportive and helpful in explaining everything. If I ever needed pelvic PT again, I would definitely go back to them.

Experiencia fantástica: My hormone/ urologist doctor referred me to this amazing center. He prescribed pelvic physical therapy after I was experiencing on and off annoying UTI like symptoms that never resulted in any positive urinary infections. I had never heard of Pelvic PT and had no idea what to expect let alone how it could help me. Naturally, I was apprehensive on my first visit especially about the internal vaginal part. I was fortunate to have been scheduled with Alexa Savitz PT,DPT. She was very reassuring and compassionate throughout the initial evaluation and made me feel I was in a safe place and put me at ease. She diagnosed me with a tight pelvic floor and explained how it was most likely creating my symptoms of urgency, burning, slow urine flow as well as some hip and back pain I was experiencing. I committed to see her once a week for 2-3 months. Her hands on massage therapy, internal work, lifestyle counseling and PT homework assignments have made a world of difference. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate in her field. Now I see her every 3 weeks and have none of the urinary symptoms I initially had. I continue to see her as we work on strengthening other muscle groups that will further promote my pelvic floor health. Her knowledge and expertise in pelvic floor therapy has empowered me physically and emotionally. She made me aware of the connection between my nerves and anxiety with my pelvic floor and how breath work can help. Needless to say, being under her care and supervision has helped me tremendously. It was a real game-changer. She has been caring and encouraging every step of the way and is the biggest contributing factor of my success. I’m so grateful for Alexa Savitz, and Pelvic Rehabilitation and Health Center Pasadena. I highly recommend their center and have had a positive experience with the service they’ve provided me.

Experiencia fantástica: I recovered quickly from a radical prostatectomy in all ways but one. After 8 months of very slow improvement in that issue my urologist suggested I try rehab. He recommended the Pelvic Health & Rehabilitation Center. In the several months I have worked with Jillian Gianninni there my issue has improved markedly. As a result of working directly with her and doing the targeted and changing home exercises she has assigned, my pelvis has at the same time become stronger and more relaxed allowing me to go for weekly two and a half hour strenuous hikes and long bicycle rides. Jillian really knows her stuff and I am grateful to have found her. She has also been very pleasant to work with.

Experiencia fantástica: This place and the staff are pretty amazing. I have been seeing Jillian for more than year. I suffer from endometriosis, and so with that I deal with a few pelvic issues. I believe with something so personal and sensitive you want a pelvic therapist that understands you 100%! And I believe Jillian does. Jillian definitely goes beyond to always make sure I feel comfortable. When I started with her I was starting to lose hope due to all the discomfort in my lower body. The one advice I would give anyone that wants to try pelvic therapy is to make sure you give it time. Just like everything else, it takes time for your body to react to the treatments. These pelvic therapists are truly rare and a true blessing. I am very thankful to have found Jillian!
