Experiencia fantástica: This is so far the best Physical Therapy place I’ve been to. Dr. Jason and his assistants are really nice and friendly. The office staff is helpful too. I had to cancel an appointment today because I was not feeling good and couldn’t get out of bed, I called to cancel my appointment the same day and expected a cancellation fee, but to my surprise, they don’t charge any. I’m very pleased with my choice.

Experiencia positiva: 5 stars for Dr. Matt Hoekstra, DPT, and 3 stars for Ernest Reyes, PTA. Reyes, PTA's assistant/apprentice, however, deserves 5 stars for his work. I highly recommend Dr. Hoekstra, DPT! Although this place is generally good, the quality of your treatment will depend on which physical therapist you get assigned to. During my initial consultation, Dr. Hoekstra, DPT left me with a great impression. He was friendly, patient, and provided me with excellent advice. He answered all my questions and addressed my concerns, which is why I decided to continue my treatment here. However, the office switched my physical therapist to Reyes, PTA without notifying me. Unfortunately, Reyes, PTA's treatment was not effective and the exercises he designed did not improve my ankle's recovery. I feel that this place has a fraternity culture, where some PTAs prioritize socializing and discussing sports over patient care. During a one-hour session, Reyes, PTA only spends 5-10 minutes on the treatment without letting me know how my recovering is progressing. He had his assistant show me how to do the exercises and then they left. He only wants to quickly finish the session without caring about the quality of the treatment that the patient receives. I have seen physical therapists in different states, and this is not the norm for how physical therapists usually treat their patients. After experiencing unprofessional treatment from Reyes, PTA, I immediately switched back to Dr. Hoekstra, DPT. The exercises he gave me were carefully designed and immediately resolved the pain in the back of my ankle. He is a very professional and knowledgeable physical therapist who genuinely cares about his patients. He is definitely one of the best physical therapists I have ever seen.

Experiencia negativa: I had an appointment with them today but accidentally went to Hntington Orthopedics instead of Huntington Orthopedics Physical Therapy which was nearby. This made me a little late. As a medical institution I was expecting some care and understanding for people with limited mobility who may move a little slower. Instead the person at the front desk berated me for being late and exaggerated how late I was. Then they cancelled not only that appointment but every appointment have with them in the current weeks (because apparently those time slots weren't long enough for an evaluation). This has left me with zero access to the physical therapy I obviously need. And they didn't care. I cannot imagine a medical institution being so careless and callous when handling medical care.

Experiencia negativa: receptionists in charge of giving the appointments want to set the appointment for you on the schedule and day that they want, they never have the day and time that you want available, and also the people who are giving you the therapy make you do exercises and they leave you alone and you finish and they are not taking care of you they even forget what you are doing and they break your routine and make you do something else I have 10 therapies left but I am not going back with them

Experiencia negativa: The PT didn’t look at my patient history, didn’t listen to what I was saying, and injured me. He couldn’t name any anatomical feature unlike any other I’ve had before and it is clear he did not know what was going on and was not interested. I have been in and out of PT most of my life and have generally been blessed with skilled professionals. It is extremely frustrating to leave with pain of 8 when I walked in with pain of 4.

Experiencia fantástica: I would rate Huntington Orthopedics Physical Therapy at 100/10!!! I tore my shoulder labrum in January 2022 and I was not able to do much due to so much pain, tightness, and weakness in that area. After 6 months of Physical Therapy, I am back to working out with almost little to no issues! I want to thank everyone that works there, especially Ernest Reyes (PTA), who helped me throughout this journey. He was always so kind, helpful, attentive, and the list goes on. I would look forward to every session to get manual work done after long days with a physically demanding job. I always felt so relaxed and loosened up afterwards. I highly recommend this office!!!!!! If I get hurt again, I’ll be right back there.

Experiencia negativa: I'd love to give 5 stars to the Hungtington Orthopedics PT office. All the customer service was good. Except for the Physical therapist, Michael Williams was very unprofessional and did not have that much working skills. His working attitude could push patients away. In my first session, he never did an evaluation for me. He told me that I should not come to this clinic. I should go to another clinic which is closer to where I live. It took him 30 mins to input my data into the computer. He looked frustrated when he was reading my MRI report. Then, he was laughing and gave me no feedback. I told him that I was in a lot of pain. He ignored me. Then, he had the PT assistant to show me some basic exercise which were not so helpful. At the end, he had the receptionist to make sure I would make an appointment to see him again. Why would I make an appointment with a PT who had no working skills at all? It seemed like he did not want to work there. I paid $150 to the organization but I got nothing. I am sure there are better PT in this clinic. I do not want any other patient to have this bad experience with Michael William like me. Thank you! Good luck!

Experiencia positiva: Great experience, staff is attentive and patient. Getting shoulder surgery Monday and have full confidence in the doctor. Dr. Panosian listened to me and believed me when I told him something was really wrong with my shoulder. Their state of the art MRI found what was wrong. I am glad I was referred to him and his group.
