Experiencia positiva: Are you trying to get rid of humans we get to interact with upon checking in for our appointments? Humans that make going here pleasant? Humans that need a job that a kiosk or a computer can't do? I have been going here since I fell in January 2017. If it wasn't for this group, I would be in so much more pain. However.. you guys started this self check in kiosk BS. First you push checking in via phone. But we still have to go to the reception desk. Phone check in and kiosk both ask for copay's when I don't have one again until the beginning of the year.. something that happens with my plan every fist quarter of the year - I meet my out of pocket maximum. Something your kiosk nor Phone app can handle. My oop max status, because I can't get past your incorrect system information. This new process adds A LOT OF WORK FOR YOUR PATIENTS TO DO FOR YOU WHEN WE ARE ALREADY PHYSICALLY COMPROMISED!! HELLO ISN'T THAT WHY YOU HAVE PATIENTS TO BEGIN WITH?? NOW YOU WANT US TO DO YOUR JOB BY SCANNING AND I PUTTING OUR LICENSE, MEDICAL COVERAGE ..OTHER INFO EVERY DAMM TIME WE HAVE AN APPOINTMENT? MANY TIMES I HAVE 3 APPOINTMENTS A WEEK THERE AND NOW I HAVE TO DO YOUR COMPANIES JOB 3 X A WEEK WHEN I HAVE SPINAL, HAND, NECK, LEG MOBIILITY ISSUES??? As it is, not even your reception asks for insurance and license info everyFKNvisit!!! Especially not me.. I'm there all the time for the last almost 8 years. no matter what I still have to go to reception. But how i have to do much more as a patient IN PAIN

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Levine has literally changed my life for the better. I have been a patient at Synovation for several years, and the treatment I have received has improved my quality of life so much. Dr. Levine has always been very validating and compassionate and is always willing to investigate why something might feel a certain way. He has sent me to various specialists and physical therapists over the years who have also helped me significantly. I would not be able to do the things I can do today without the treatment I have received from him at Synovation. It may take a while to get in as a new patient, but they really do care and try to help as much as they can. I usually schedule my monthly appointments two months in advance so that I could get the appointment times I wanted.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a patient at Synovation for about 15 yrs, I have been seen by quite a few different Dr.s and Practioners, my favorite Dr. By far is Dr. Reed Levine! I love the staff everyone is very thorough, making sure you get the treatment you need and setting up appointments, I set mine up 3months out because they can be difficult to get.

Experiencia negativa: I am sorry I have to put on star because of just one person. I have nothing bad to say about the doctors I have met and treated me at Synovation group in Pasadena. I Thank them for the difference they make in the lives of many patients. Your kindness, sincere caring, and concern make everything better and are a great encouragement.” “Thank you so very much for taking care of me and being so skilled at what you do. Every day of my life will be better because of you. Mostly I want to thank Dr. Andrew seltzer so much for your kindness and professionalism , I want to thank the staff also for their kindness and professionalism. However, experience taught me that when one is in need, seeing anyone with training who cares and can help is a blessing. I am very weak mentally, I easily break down in any difficult or hard situation. I easily give up Because of some legit reasons and experiences . On February 20, 2024 I met with with a different doctor who’s not my usual doctor, I was sent to the emergency because I was really sick and I appreciate that, I was admitted, while in the hospital I tried to follow up with this doctor, when I was discharged I called again to talk with that doctor and I’ve left so many messages while I was in the hospital I wanted explain to the doctor my situation and what was bothering me, after a day or two the doctors assistant called me but didn’t allow me to say anything instead she was blaming me and she was yelling at me, shutting me up, trying to explain away her harmful behavior by claiming good intentions, I appreciate her intentions, but her actions made me feel more depressed and scared to even thinking of finding another pain management doctor. I’ve had a horrible experience that left me having trust issues. I am still thinking of finding another pain management specialists because of just one rude person.

Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately theres one person in the office that make this place horrible. She’s more rude than not and makes it a horrible experience especially when dealing with the amount of pain Im already in. I also had an issue with Aquila, waiting over a month for injections to be approved between my lawyer and her yet no matter how many times my lawyer and I tried to reach out to her, she doesn’t get back to the lawyer. I asked if they do disability insurance and she acted like she didn’t care and wasn’t giving solutions.. where I had to keep asking for things like having the doc call me back since she can’t tell me the answer.. she said she’d connect me to his assistant and it disconnected (previously when tried to call it disconnected 3xs already). Wait times for an app are also usually a month out, however when I’m there in person the office wait room is always near empty. Thank god I only had to deal with Aquila for just this one thing. It’s the lady I always have to talk to at some point on the phone at the front desk and app wait times being a month out that make the experience stressful and horrible where I’ve considered leaving this office for a different pain management office. New Update: To add, now that I started physio.. they’re the only place that does 30min physio visits when other places I’ve been to are an hour. They also don’t have ultrasound for physio either which is what I was really hoping for. So I’m looking to get a referral to a different spot for physio.

Experiencia negativa: Long waits. The women working at the desk love speak among themselves unprofessional with a foul mouth with b and f words. Keep the unprofessionalism home and not on the medical field. They need to reconsider who they hire. Preferably individuals who are educated that’s for sure

Experiencia fantástica: I have a lot of respect for these doctors in the specialty field ~ Every visit is wonderful. Staff is courteous, and the place is immaculate. Not much waiting, because they call your name right away. Be on time, or you'll lose your appointment. They do not overbook. Therapy, classes, exercises, etc. are available for pain relief. Remember to work with your doctor! I personally have been happy with the whole medical team of doctors. In particular, Dr. Andrew G. Seltzer ~ he has genuine concern for his patients. As the patient, my "whole person" is treated. It's always a pleasure to see my doctor and benefit from "doctor's orders." There is so much to offer you at their fingertips. Avail yourself. Thank you, everyone at Pasadena Rehab Institute! Also, I must mention that when I have surgery, my mind is at rest because they give you, the patient, the red carpet treatment.

Experiencia negativa: If I can give this place no stars I absolutely would. Where can I start. I first came here because it was a referral from my doctor. When he could have been dressed properly through physical therapy, the therapist was anything but professional googling over whatever I had on and what fitness club I went to. Not really, addressing any situation. Going off of a book that I ended up purchasing myself because I can do the exercises more consistently. Putting her self in my circumstances not really addressing any issues. Fast forward 34 years later back at the same office for pain management only to be moved around like a musical chair and seen by different doctors starting over which every single one of them. All while scheduling three weeks to a month apart like my pain is going to stop. This last time I was seeing 20 minutes in the waiting room, 30 minutes inside of the actual room, only to be seen for five minutes with no actual solution. Other than an MRI again. Only to wait for the results and the schedule again 30 days later. Three days later I set the appointment because I have no other choice. Only to encounter freeway accident on the 134 which delayed me 15 minutes. Upon arrival they did check then only to tell me the doctor is not going to see you after they already checked me in. While I’m traveling all the way from Hollywood/Los Angeles area. Period excruciating pain, because the previous injection they gave me being that far worse to the point to where I couldn’t even stand properly. They turned me away and sent me away in anger, frustration, and tears. Because I’m at the end of my rope I don’t know what to do. Fast forward to having to speak to my neurosurgeon, who was able to see me much quicker, which resulted in a surgery.. that I attempted to avoid at all cost. Yet now we are July 27 and the day before surgery contacted front desk notify them of the situation they took a message. Which never got to the proper. Department. Resulting in me going through surgery and no post op treatment. Because they haven’t seen me so they need a urine sample. I asked if they can re-change the one from my primary care who just took one prior to surgery. So now I have to wait until they have a opening and their so-called busy schedule just so they can start from point a all over again. There is 39 active an address conditions in my application that they have failed to address. I’m only 42 years old, but this improper care has resulted in additional and unnecessary procedures. Truthfully, when I say, this place really needs a reevaluation and a complete staff change. You need to ask yourself before you walk out of your house. What do you do and why do you do it? If your answer is not to assist others and help others achieve better sense of health and wellness. Then you should opt for a different position something that makes you come alive and gives you Joy. Because you have the health of other people in your hands. If you teach when someone voices, their deepest concern regarding situation’s. On a personal level and emotionally start to make decisions and this is not the position for you. I’m sitting currently at a hospital bed stressing out because I don’t know what postop is going to be. And I can thanks syndication Pasadena for this one. After reading this review, you tell me how many stars you would give this experience What was supposed to be proper physical therapy address Resulted in. Necessary shoulder repair via surgical procedures , Cervical surgery and now lower back surgery. And yet still have rotator cuff reattachment surgery to deal with after this one. That’s my personal experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Before you go down a rabbit hole with all the bad reviews on here, I'll save you the time. Being a former gymnast, I did quite a number to my body. I had successful back surgery 2 years ago, and am now in need of cervical help. This is where Dr. Miesner comes in. His bedside manner is exceptional. He not only listens, but educates. From the moment I walked in, Elba at reception was warm and extremely helpful. I also had the pleasure of meeting the practice's Administrator, Nicole, who treated me like we knew each other for years. We spoke about my process and how much I love that I'm able to access all my records from here on out through their patient portal mobile app. Yes, constant pain can sometimes be unbearable for all that suffer. For once, put yourself in their shoes too, I'm sure there are many days they get treated with disrespect. I highly recommend this location

Experiencia fantástica: I have read many, many reviews on this site and can somewhat explain the negatives. First, I am a patient with Dr. Levine, who I think is great. Yes, it takes a month to get an appt. He's popular but, once he knows you, has proof of your injury, he can send occasionally refills through his computer. The Drs and NPs have a lot of heat on them now because of this anti opiod scare in the U.S. Some people really are in severe pain and DONT EVER take excesses but must have to have something to help. it takes patience to get the whole process started but once you are known and your problem identified, they will help.That's what they do here. I have been going here for years and have never noticed ANYONE yelling! In fact, I was a little intimidated by the quiet when I firsT went there. They do have a 10 minute cancellation time.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible experience i hv had 10 breast surgeries. Bad pain. Mine u I had a horrible worst professionlism with a wanna b Dr. Michelle T. Rude she horrible cuts u off! No consideration empathy notta!!! No manners. She let me go! Said I cld no longer b treated due to a lie she said...she claim I hadn't taken my medication correctly and said that she didn't see my medication in my urine which was around the covid no one went to the office only phn appts. So how the hell she didnt see meds when i didnt tk a urin test in 2020 due to covid. She refused to show me the lab papers. I tried Advocate this situation to her refuse me service to cm bk there she wrote me off! what did they do? Set me my appt with her Michelle T. Who let me go in the 1st place WHAT THE YEK!!!..HER AGAIN THE wanna b a doctor who let me go! I told her there must be some mistake!!!! she never showed me any lab test she was rude obnoxious and I don't like her and I would not advise nobody to ever go there let me go with the worst PAIN mentally & phscially... She's rude unprofessional no professionlism they shld close dwn. Gd luck.. update thank u pain management for your response appreciate it very much

Experiencia positiva: In person, Dr. Seltzer is attentive and understanding. That's the best part. If you try to leave a message you can get rerouted to the wrong automated office system and it takes a long time for anyone to get back. This has happened a few times. Also they accepted my co-pay and then later billed additional co pay, never explaining why.

Experiencia fantástica: I understand that scheduling and reception can be a problem at this facility because they are extremely large. They have a very large and steady client base for a very good reason! Everything you need is it this facility! Wonderful pain management, physical therapy even including meditation and some sort of pool type water… Even have special events where they will do more than they are already doing! I have been with this pain management group off and glad to be back on due to my insurance sense approximately 2017. They have been nothing but wonderful! Dr. Seltzer, Michela Termechi, and the rest of staff have been absolutely amazing! I recommend scheduling visits at least two months in advance even for regular patients, keep up and make sure you can get in! The only problem I have been having is with getting in direct contact with my provider on a couple of different occasions although most recently they got right back to me when I was in the hospital. Usually when you see a pain management clinic with two stars or something like that it’s because they are a good pain management clinic they are not just handing out pills and they look at alternative forms and getting you better and back on your feet instead of just drugging you up and so for the people just looking for drugs you’re not gonna get it at this facility! They are very close on the Cares database which I highly enjoy as I am 20 years sober with chronic severe and degenerative pain management issues. They are also very fast so anybody complaining about waiting time I don’t understand unless it’s coming from the physical therapy department. I recommend this pain management group to everybody!

Experiencia fantástica: I had been seen here for 16 years. My PA left to a different practice. Dr. SELTZER is a very helpful and honest physician who I have been seeing for almost 3 years now. He has helped me to slowly decrease the high doses of medications that previous PA had put me on but respects it when I don't feel ready for another decrease or change in medication. He helped me get off ambien, which I was on for at least 16 years!!. Dr. Seltzer is not a "pill physician" and recognizes a patients efforts to control pain in other ways such as strength training (exercise), meditation and cognitive therapy as well as trying injections for certain types of pain. His assistant, Ulysis, is prompt at returning phone calls regarding concerns and letting me know when pharmacy refills have been called in. Dr. Seltzer is most often very prompt in appt. times and I rarely have to wait beyond what my appt. time was scheduled for. He takes his time and listens then and has actual discussions about treatment plans and options. Oh, and the staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful!

Experiencia fantástica: Of all the doctors I see these days (and there are many), Dr. Levine has earned the designation of "MY FAVORITE DOCTOR!" He takes the time to listen to me. He helped my get off of over 15 years of very high level opiates. His staff has been kind and reliable. Their phone system is difficult but that is probably because the entire office is very busy. Dr. Levine has been the only doctor who has worked hard every month to keep me on my feet and moving forward.

Experiencia fantástica: I look forward to my physical therapy because as soon as I arrive I am treated with the utmost respect, and with a welcoming from the receptionist, Jessica Naranjo, that makes a person feel comfortable. My Board Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist therapist, Apurva Zawar (PT, DPT), handles my condition with such professionalism, and ease that I am actually disappointed when my physical therapy session comes to an end for the day. I have not had any issues having my appointments made in advance either, as a matter of fact, making appointments was a breeze. I had three weeks worth of appointments scheduled on my request without any type of complications, thank you Jessica Naranjo! As for my time in the waiting room, it is very minute. This is a smooth running operation with professionally experienced personnel that have and show respect toward their clientele. Keep up the good work! As for the negative reviews posted, well I do not see that attitude. The office I've visited does not reflect those descriptions.

Experiencia fantástica: I met with Dr. Seltzer about some intense lower back pain I've been having over the past few months. The office is clean and felt very safe (even though this is happening during COVID). The individuals working the front desk were kind and patient but clear with instructions. They took my information and I waited probably only 90 seconds before I was escorted into a patient room. Dr. Seltzer listened intently as I attempted to explain the complex and intense pain I had been feeling over the past few months. The office then not only gave me a referral to an MRI, but also made sure that it would be covered by my insurance. This group is fantastic and I'm so glad I found them.
