Experiencia fantástica: I had surgery knee surgery back in August. The company that was gone a be doing the therapy never called me. I called them and I was told that they don't accept my insurance . I called Houston Therapy and they took me in right away. When I started going with them I walked in with a walker. Now due to the one and one therapy I'm walking on my own and going back to work.

Experiencia fantástica: Houston Therapy Specialists is the best place for physical therapy. I’ve gone to see them for my Achilles pain and most recently for my shoulder after rotator cuff surgery. He does cupping and dry needling besides being an expert in his area. My shoulder is feeling better and I’m able to do more than even what my doctor feels I can do. If you want someone who will listen and help you, push you to doing more but not over doing things, then Houston Therapy Specialists is the place to be!!! I highly recommend!!!

Experiencia fantástica: First and foremost, Mr. Peoples is a great PT. Tells you what you need to know. Provides your with plenty information to be self motivated. Inspirational stories and considerate of your time. I would definitely recommend anyone that needs PT. Also, Ms. Peoples is a great mentor. Facilities stay clean and has a friendly environment. He can be pushy but at the end of the day, it's all for your own benefit. Great facility!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Peoples is absolutely amazing!! I heard of his practice and reached out while visiting in Houston. Since then, he's assisted me with the treatment of my laberal tear and hip impingement. He assigned me to physical therapy exercises that I was able to work on from out of state and assisted me with finding the best doctors to treat and care for me in my state. I would highly recommend Dr. Peoples because he is extremely knowledgeable, patient and professional!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Marlon has helped me tremendously with my recovery as a quadriplegic C5. I met him at TIRR Memorial Herman and followed him here, that’s how legit he is. I been to other physical therapy rehab centers and no one has gave me the care or push like him.

Dr. Marlon help me with my core for about 4 months and I still use his tips today to help me progress in my journey. Thank you Houston therapy Specialist for helping me build my core back to get back in the gym after my bad accident last year.

He is very knowledgeable with Parkinson's Disease, and the therapy he gave me is what I needed. I like that he does follow up calls. Experiencia fantástica: I am a competitive gymnast, I had many injuries coming to this place. I was recovering from a shoulder surgery, a lisfranc/ ankle sprain, and a hip tear/ impingement. Dr. Marlon Peoples helped me every step of the way while I was here, giving me good exercises, stretches, drills, while also making sure to not push me too hard, but push me enough. He offers both dry needling and cupping which I used frequently to relieve muscle tension. He’s very friendly and kind, easy to talk to. The other employees are wonderful. My shoulder, foot, and ankle have improved tremendously since starting here, my hip tear is getting surgically repaired later on, but Dr. Marlon still supported me with hip therapy until the surgery to prevent muscle atrophy and weakness. Overall this is one of the best PT places I’ve been to and I’ve been to a lot. If you’re looking for a good hands on therapist who will help you with your specific situation, you gotta come here

Experiencia fantástica: New to town and found them on Google Maps. Chose them from reviews. So glad I did! Went in for re-injury of herniated disk. Dr. Marlon was awesome! Professional, knowledgeable, explained exercises, caring, kind. I am all better after 4 sessions and doing my digital homework- easy-to-follow exercises online sent to my Messages. Miss Denise is a charming admin. Clean, bright, pleasant facility, lots of gadgets.

Experiencia negativa: If you have a lymphadema problem, do not waste your time here. Go somewhere that specializes in lymphadema.

Experiencia fantástica: I’m a weekend warrior and just started back running due to covid and immediately started having calf pain. I’ve heard of Dr. Peoples from other ‘weekend warrior’ friends, although it was somewhat of a drive, definitely worth it!! After Dry Needling my calves and working on my ankle mobility I was back to running pain free. Definitely would recommend his services!

Experiencia fantástica: Great staff that knows their stuff. They don't cut corners they tell you how it is in a respectful manner. I personally like a direct approach. They don't babysit you they make sure you do your part. Dr. Peoples listens and will have a open dialogue with you to discuss options that you are comfortable with to get you feeling better. Experiencia fantástica: I ruptured my achilles play flag football. Dr. Marlon did a great job of getting me back moving after my achilles surgery. I wasn't able to run or jump until I had a few sessions with him. Now I am back to lifting most days of the week, boxing and have my mile times down to about 6:38 min/mile on average. He also got my chest back to working order about 2 years ago. I had a pectoral minor tear from doing bench press. I was able to get dry needling to break up the scare tissue and get my strength back up. Hands down Houston Therapy Specialists have the best minds in Texas.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Dr. Peoples after dislocating my knee cap and losing significant muscle around my lower quadricep. It’s a slow recovery process, but I could be happier with the regimen that Dr. People’s has given me. He is very knowledgeable and will let you know what to expect from the get go. Anyone with an injury has to understand that going to the physical therapist is only 20% of the healing process, the rest is up to you.

Experiencia fantástica: My husband is a truck driver and suffered from lower back pain for several months. Houston Therapy Specialists was highly recommended to us. Dr.Peoples recommend light stretching and performed dry needling therapy.After the procedure the swelling went down and the back pain is gone.

Experiencia fantástica: The therapist Marlon who owns this clinic personal came out to assess my child who was having ankle pain from doing one of his workouts.....He thoroughly examined my child at the work out facility and gave me advise on what to do as well as instructed my child on some exercises....if anyone need Physical Therapy services please go to this facility for your rehabilitation

After several calls to different therapist none could work around my schedule but thank God when I was about to give up they were there to help. Mrs. Alicia was very sweet and attentive and knowledgeable about my fracture she gave be all the the tools I needed to get me back to normal use of my wrist. Experiencia fantástica: I got Dry needles by Dr. Peeples and it was such a relief. Needles sound daunting but it is like nothing else I have tried. My chronically tight hamstrings and traps got much better! Friendly staff that does great work!

Experiencia fantástica: Last, year I suffered from a severe tear in my left rotator cuff, which prevented me from working out, and almost caused a medical discharge from the United States Army Reserves. I was unable to do a single push up or left/hold my newborn daughter with my left arm. Through several appointments with DPT. Marlon Peoples over the last year I have made a 100% recovery. Dr. Peoples was pleasant and encouraging throughout the recovery process. His knowledge and experience in working with patients with similar injuries motivated me to put forth the effort to recover fully. Dr. Peoples and his staff showed me alternative strength and stability exercises that allowed me to improve. I’m now able to throw my daughter in the air and catch her and continue my service in the US Army.

Experiencia fantástica: I interned at this clinic under Dr. Marlon and wanted to share what I observed here versus the other clinics I had previously been to. One of the biggest differences I saw was the amount of attention the patients were given from the therapists. The whole appointment time was spent giving the patient valuable interventions instead of having the patient pay to sit with an ice or hot pack on for part of the appointment. These interventions were also really tailored to each patient's needs for each appointment, instead of staying stagnant with exercises from a checklist each time. The facility was also very hygienic and nice! As for insurance, they are doing their best to research and meet the needs of the area. I highly recommend going here if they carry your insurance. If not, I'd also recommend calling to ask if their cash pay rates would be affordable to you!

Experiencia fantástica: The staff have helped me so much! The wellness program has helped me lose weight and get me to my goal. I was having shoulder pain and muscular problems, but a few needling sessions and a back manipulation has made me feel so much better! I highly recommend getting physical therapy here.
