Experiencia negativa: Thinking of using this practice? Think again… Their billing practices are horrible. They insist on collecting payment upfront, in my case much higher than the billable amount under my insurance. After numerous phone calls trying to get them to refund the money due, I’m still waiting for a check that never arrived.

Experiencia negativa: Front desk is a mess, had my appointment at 1:15 and Still sitting here waiting at 1:50. The lady in front desk is rude. You need to change your front desk lady, it seems she doesn't like her job. Place is full, lots of people.

My child has had orthotics made by our beloved late Dr. Sheinberg and our loving and knowledgeable Dr. Messina. Carolina the office manager is empathetic and helpful when we’ve needed her assistance. Most recently though, our child needed foot surgery due to worsening pediatric bunion and pain and that’s when we met Dr Cohen for an lapiplasty consultation. What an incredible person. Gentle, detailed, extremely knowledgeable, highly experienced are just a few of the words I would use to describe Dr. Cohen. On that day we decided to proceed with the surgery and words of admiration for him continue. The work that he has done for our child is incredible. The surgery went very well. We had a slight delay at the surgical center but the team there was kind and accommodating. My child had a minor reaction to the post op medication (these things happen) and immediately Dr Cohen made his recommendation and adjusted the medication. The priority is the foot and the surgery which was a success! Each post operative visit, to replace the bandage dressing, cast the foot, and remove the stitches was cared for by his gentle loving hands. He is truly incredible. So grateful to him and everyone and the team at South Florida Institue of Sports Medicine.

Experiencia negativa: This is one of the worst medical offices I've ever been to. They never answer the phone, whatever number you put, they don't answer. I've been waiting for an authorization for an MRI that they told me to do for two months. I've had to go there just to ask, the person who attended me has told me that I have to wait because she is just one person taking care of it. I do not think that this is a matter that a client needs to know or resolve, I am still waiting without answer .

Experiencia negativa: I want in person to schedule my appointment with Dr. Lum and they were out to lunch. I called the office to make an appointment and got a voice-mail which the message states they will call you back in 48 hour, it now been a week and no call has been received. horrible service. Still waiting on a call back!!!!!

Experiencia positiva: dont get any knee injures close to holidays, I dont think they are that busy or the specialist is there, quick visit, i have to ask for recomendation to get better, and i dont know why they told me i don hace coverage for physical therapy but my insurance says yes and the office next to them said they do. they good points is that is close to home.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Shenassa and his team are great. They were able to get me in ASAP for surgery. They made sure to get insurance approved and had me set up in 3 days time. He even made time to see me personally on such short notice, before surgery. so I am very very grateful for everyone involved. I’m now doing PT in pines and happy with it. I’ve had some injuries in the past and dealt with other offices but I’m happy with this one. I will say Weston office answers the phone more often than Pines does, and returns calls more often. PT office is fine with that. Overall 5/5 I had numerous great experiences so far.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible staff! Unprofessional. I made an appt almost a month in advance and specifically confirmed if my appt was for the Pembroke office and I reassured it was. The day of my appt I show up and they tell me now my appt was scheduled for the Plantation office. Really?!? Going to find a new dr and hopefully their staff are more professional and organized. Stay away from this S@&t show of a place, I wouldn’t even trust the Dr.

Experiencia negativa: This is by far the worst orthopedic office in Broward County, the worst office staff, poor customer service skills, horrible phone ethics, staff hangs up on you because they dont want to hear your complaints about Dr not returning your calls.. Doctors do a surgery and God forbidden something is needed between appointments, my experience is he won't call you back at alls and you won't hear back from Dr Betot at all, if anything he will have his PA Rebecca call you back a day later if that.. They are not concerned about you after, or quite frankly before either, not a good office to visit if you have a serious problem and want Serious and professional medical help...

Experiencia fantástica: After 5 other ankle specialists turned me away saying "there is nothing that can be done for you" Dr Goodner was able to fix my left ankle. I had 20 year old damage and he was able to debrid the joint and repair/reconnect 2 damaged ligaments. The office staff is awesome. I have been to the office twice and have been seen by the Dr within 10 min of entering the waiting room.

Experiencia fantástica: I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to the medical and physical therapy teams at the South Florida Institute of Sports Medicine for the immense role they played in healing my son’s back. Tests revealed that he had a significant back issue, and was immediately prescribed rest and a back support to wear. My son’s back dramatically improved within a matter of weeks. He attended therapy sessions with the physical therapy team which initially evaluated him and devised an exercise plan to improve his back. My son has developed new habits to avoid this type of problem in the future. We are eternally grateful to everyone who helped him, and highly recommend this awesome team of professionals.

Experiencia negativa: I ordered orthotics in July 2021, I kept calling asking if they are in. Kept getting response no. I called aug. 6 and they said no not in. I called today aug. 17 and they said yes they have been here since Aug. 6 and they were trying to reach me. Thst is a lie not only did I not get message on my phone or an email or a missed call unbelievable!!!!

Experiencia negativa: I have never once heard any medical practice/office tell a patient that informing them that their referral is only good for 3 visits or 3 months is a COURTESY! Case and point, I was referred to SoFlo Institute by my insurance company, I saw the doctor twice, the office staff set a third follow-up appointment, called me to confirm the appointment, only to tell me at 8:30am, whilst standing in a full office, on the day of, that I either needed a new referral or I have to pay for the visit! When questioned as to whether or not it would have been more proficient and productive to have told me this prior to booking and confirming the appointment, I was told, "it was a courtesy for staff to inform the patient of policy, and it's the patients responsibility to keep on top of the referral!" What a farce! Maybe it would have been better to inform the referred patient about the policies regarding the referral when they made their initial appointment and or office visit, it saves time, temper, and later chagrin of both parties! Obviously, the manager doesn't know the meaning of the word courtesy, her sour disposition and countenance, mixed with her stink attitude, and lack of ability to accept ANY accountability for the 'waste of time', exemplifies her disdain for either me and/ or her job. I also found it offensive that as soon as my son walked in, one of the other stupid reception staff made an unprompted comment about Lil Wayne! Shows where their minds dwell, my son is a 10 year old boy who happens to have locs, that's it, no other likeness whatsoever. The whole visit left a nasty stain on my psyche, I wouldn't send anyone there! As for the manager, if she spent as much time improving her staff training as she does putting on that 'Dead Light's' make up, this review may have had a completely different theme!

Experiencia negativa: I’m only going to say this because I feel cheated and I felt that the doctor who saw me could have at least acted like he cared or even ATTEMPTED to find what is causing my pain. Not only did he waste my time and money but he obviously isn’t a good listener either because he kept dismissing the fact when I was pretty adamant and pretty much telling me not to make it worse than what it is but hey doctors know right? Yeah when you’re looking for something that isn’t there you obviously care more about the paycheck than your patients physical health. I was respectful enough to not go against him but in my head I was like this guy is something else. I had to go see another doctor and they LISTENED and didn’t dismiss the facts and guess what? They confirmed what I was saying which makes me even more angry because apparently this office should have caught that and they didn’t... why? Cus they wanted to get a nice paycheck and by doing so it wouldn’t have done ANYTHING. Anyways this visit was in NOV and I had to see a 2nd doctor in the beginning of the year cus homeboy from this office requested mris that aren’t cheap btw lol so had to wait for everything to reset. I wouldn’t recommend this office if they are going to keep insolent doctors. You’re going to end up hurting more patients with this neglect. I will never trust you guys again. Now I know what’s causing my pain and it’s very frustrating knowing that what I said was not even taken into consideration. But it’s easy to tell your patients oh i don’t know but let’s get you into physical therapy lmfao FOR WHAT?! you don’t even know what the hell is wrong with me. Never again.

Experiencia negativa: Seating here now for more than an hour. Front office do not care and do not know how long more it will take. What a nightmare. I guess the doctors make too much money and do not care about the people waiting: it is embarrassing they do this to patience’s some post surgery. Incredible !!!

Experiencia fantástica: From the moment I walked into the Pembroke Pines office, I was put at ease. From reception, to intake and consult, with each step I felt like the only patient, not a number like at other dr. offices. Dr. Moya and Kay patiently listened as I reviewed my shoulder issues, and took the time to exam, evaluate, explain and answer all my questions with care. I recommend this office and Dr. Moya.

From Noris the receptionist, to the assistants that bring you into your room and Dr.Messina himself, you just feel taken care of and know that you are in the right place. They are all efficient and professional and kind. What more can you ask from a health care provider. I have had a chronic plantar fasciitis condition that has not been alleviated by the previous two doctors that I have gone to and as soon as I came to this office, everything started to improve!!!

Experiencia fantástica: These are the greatest folks you never want to see again. Really, you honestly want them to say, "It's just fine, put some ice on it and you'll be good as new" --- and then never see them again. Seeing them again means ice DIDN'T fix it. Really good doctors and Physician Assistants; they actually care what's happened to you and they know how to correct it. The front desk people are nice, which is rare. They're also efficient, which is even rarer. Unfortunately I've had to visit here for more than one body part and have more experience with the office than I'd like. That's how I KNOW the staff are great.

Experiencia positiva: ive been here twice and got an appointment to do procedure on a friday and two days prior i get told i have a co pay to DR which is a no brainer 140.00 not bad but to tell me i have a fee on 527.00 the day before procedure is not. the amount is not a problem its the timing im no pro athlete but still need my back to work in order to have insurance for my family. 527.00 is a lot when you have bills and live pay check to pay check had i been told this one week or two weeks prior that would have given me time to pay all of this with out a problem. end result 2/15/2019 appointment had to be canceled. to bad they don't except care credit because there would be no problem paying it all. in the near future you guys need to warn clients of financial obligations after the insurance has been verified days or weeks in advance. other then that the office is great and DR JONES is one of the most detailed DRs i have ever dealt with since seeing several other back DRs. m not going anywhere else.

Experiencia negativa: I spoke with three different front office personnel on 3 different occasions about my referral. I was informed and reassured that the referral was authorized and that I would be seen. I took time off of work, travelled to the office and spent time filling out the copious paperwork. Fifteen minutes past the appointment time, I was told that the referral was not sufficient. Why in the world did 3 different people from this office tell me different? Why waste my time? Do not go back unless you are going for an auto accident claim or pay out-of-pocket.

Experiencia negativa: I have had 2 surgeries here and the doctors do a great job, but... going to see the doctors is a nightmare, the normal wait time to see the doctor is an hour. I don’t understand why they schedule appointments if they are incapable of complying with the times they schedule you for. And it’s not like it just happened one time, it had happened every time I have come. I strongly suggest going somewhere else or make sure you set aside an hour to sit and wait to be seen.
