The nurses and CNAs treat their patients with genuine care and high professionalism and they always greet you with a smile. As a visitor, we felt their sincerity and warmth. Experiencia fantástica: I am a volunteer with a veterans organization and we visit our veterans here on a regular basis. We have a great relationship with the wonderful staff. On the rate occasion one of our veterans lets us know if there is a problem, we take it to staff and it is usually addressed immediately. I even had my own sister there as a hospice patient and can't compliment the nurses and CNA's who took care of her.

Experiencia fantástica: This facility is great. From the front desk to the medical staff , everybody is friendly, courteous and, attentive. Also, I was impressed with the cleaningness of the place .

Experiencia negativa: I rate this place a big zero. My sister was placed in the sun sweating hot no AC no shower dirty an smelly wasn't taken care of sloppy an dirty. Until I said something to staff then they started moving around. Please if u really care for your family do not send them here an the reviews sound so good.... not even I wish to witness this. Also THEY DO NOT BRUSH PATIENTS TEETH OR COMB HAIRS... I made a video on the treatment here also looks like they pull out her hair becuz there's still skin on chunks of her hair we brushed. They also cut her hair short without telling the family being native american that is really against our culture weve never been so disrespected. They still continue to leave her in her throwup an only really clean her when family is present. These pics were months ago but things just seem to get worse. So these guys cut her hair without our consent and we were blamed, she never moved or was awake after she left this god forbidden place she's now fully awake. And moving more responding alot better. The place she's at not said that thus place is known for keeping their patients drugged up so they don't have to work. So please check on your loved one here.

My stay here has been more than exemplary even though there is always much to do the attitudes don't show it no one is perfect but this facility remains consistent I recommend this place for your family. Kudos to some very special folks Victor Angelina Angel Angela Naomi Tristan Ray-Ray Lucy Dan Dakota Caleb Alex Rene Evelyn and Isela. I feel at home here thanks to the entire staff.

My grandfathers stay was very positive and he loved the food, Lucy always accommodated his likes and dislikes and was impressed by how involved Estrella the senior admissions coordinator was in getting him transferred to the facility. I would definitely recommend Peoria to anyone they made us feel like family.

Experiencia fantástica: Even though I started 2 weeks ago, I Love working for this company and everyone on staff. I had an Interview with the company and welcomed me right on the spot. Never had a company to do that. Once I started working on my shift I noticed every staff member takes a big initiative in our patient's well being issues and concerns. The entire staff does pitch in and helps one another. Also, I would spread the word in anyone who needs employment or anyone who needs a family member as a resident for this warm loving facility.

Other places I've worked claimed this as well but Peoria Post Acute and Rehab has been the first place where I truly saw this come to life. I feel like everyone has a place here. Whether you are the building director, nursing staff, housekeeping or a resident; everyone is counted as a valuable person and treated as such. Thank you Peoria for giving me more than a job but a safe, welcoming place that I can come to everyday and truly be myself. **one year update: still loving it at PPA! Couldn’t be happy to call this my workplace home!!

I have done clinicals at several facilities, and one can tell the difference in the great amount of attention given to patients. This was why I became a respiratory extern there after finishing school. There is a great attitude in the building!

Experiencia fantástica: While touring Peoria Post Acute, I was able to spend some time with the therapy department and meet many other healthcare staff members. They are WELL experienced, knowledgable and dedicated to treating patients with respect as they heal. Much of the staff have been there for 10+ years and all thoroughly enjoyed working there which really brought the positivity to this facility. The facility itself is extremely clean and well lit with large rooms so family members/friends can visit their loved ones without feeling crowded. If you are looking for a Skilled Nursing Facility for your loved one that provides excellent care, I would highly recommend Peoria Post Acute!

Experiencia fantástica: My experience here began with my brother and the stroke he suffered about a year ago. To put it in perspective, he was lucky to even be alive. Never thought he would have the ability to speak or much less walk by what the experts told us at Dignity St. Joes. He couldn't even breathe on his own being hooked up to a machine 24/7. Every time I went to visit, the respiratory director Brandy took her time to explain everything to us. Its been a roller coaster ride for sure. I can now say thanks to her team he is no longer dependent on a machine to breathe. Shortly after arriving the PT team had him walking and he is now able to speak. Thanks to everyone at Peoria Post Acute.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been working at Peoria Post Acute & Rehab for about 8 months now! This is my first job out of graduate school and I couldn’t have asked for a better opportunity. All the staff members support each other and go out of their way to help each other to ensure we are providing the best care for our patients. Many of the therapist go above and beyond when treating their patients to help them return home. Special thanks to the therapy team especially Tina, Suzie, Katie, & Megan for making me feel so welcomed and part of the team right when I started.

I have never received the care and rehabilitation that Peoria provides from any other place. The therapy team is outstanding. Each therapist cares about your individual situation and provides you with positive encouragement and hope to get well. The whole staff takes the time to listen to your needs and assists at providing you with the help they can give.

I got roomed with a sweet lady (79) and we got along just great, we talked, laughed and always started eating together. I would help her when she needed something because she reminds me of Mother(Nancy) Mrs, Sue is like a Kindred Spirit to me. This is the place I would want to come to for all my Rehabilitations. Special thanks to Kenya who was so sweet and darling.

Everyone helps each other out to make sure we give the best care to our residence. There are high talks about Lucy, head of kitchen, and how amazing her food taste. They are quick to help and find the best solutions to make everyone happy. It makes the staff smile when the residence tell us how great we’re doing. I can actually say I love my job and my Boss's From day one they have made me feel part of the Peoria post Acute family. Experiencia fantástica: I worked here as a travel nurse for a few months amidst this pandemic. I must say that out of the hundreds of facilities I have worked at through the years it is hands down one of the best. The staff is extremely welcoming, the administration team is phenomenal and deeply care for both their residents AND staff and their chefs care about the food they give to the patients and it tastes great. The care team as a whole is amazing and I would comfortably say that if I had a family member in need I would 100% trust Peoria to take care of them and all their needs no questions asked.
