Experiencia fantástica: An amazing facility with great staff. My mom broke her hip and was sent to this rehab. Every staff member was great from the top to bottom. The therapy sessions were amazing. The nursing care excellent and the food tasty. I cannot imagine a better facility. Thank you Caitlyn who was my moms occupational therapist and worked with her almost everyday and ensured she was able to get home and be able to do her daily activities safely

Experiencia fantástica: My husband was in rehab for 2 weeks after a hip replacement. The facility is very nice. The food was good and nourishing. He made progress with therapy each day. The therapy he received was great however on several days he was scheduled for 3 therapy sessions but then one was cancelled so he received only 2 sessions on those days. Therapy is the key to recovery and should be priority number one. We were told therapists called in sick or not enough therapists on staff that day to cover all therapy sessions. The care he received from the staff was excellent.

Experiencia fantástica: I spent 10 days at Banner Rehab West following surgery. It had been recommended to me by a friend and I am very glad I chose this facility. Every employee that I had contact with was kind, cheerful, patient and helpful. The therapy was beyond what I could have hoped for. I had therapy a minimum of 3 hours per day. They pushed me gently and prepared me very well to be discharged to return home and begin outpatient therapy. I will also say that I never had to wait more than a couple minutes for a staff member to respond to the "Call" button. I am extremely happy with the results and would highly recommend to anyone needing rehab care.

Experiencia fantástica: My nephew was there for 2 weeks he went in and couldn’t do much he now can feed himself walk do most of his daily tasks. Such a great improvement. The staff were incredible they worked well together and they were awesome with their care. The therapists occupational, physical, speech and respiratory and any one I forgot were unbelievable. They pushed enough to get great progress but not totally exhaust him. Everything was exceptional couldn’t ask for a better rehab facility. Top notch. Number 1.

Experiencia fantástica: After being hospitalized for over 22 days, I finally finished my care here at Banner rehab West. The care here has been unmatched. All staff members work as a team and it is very evident that there is true and caring for the patients. I came to this hospital with minimal mobility and I’m going home walking on my own without assistance. This hospital is ranked as the number one rehab hospital in the state of Arizona, and it is clear why. I could not recommend this place enough.

Experiencia positiva: This facility was clean and welcoming. The staff was friendly and courteous. My husbands's care was exceptional with some of the staff; others were indifferent to his suffering and contributed to it. I think that if you are a patient in a rehab hospital, all of you needs to be treated. Despite the efforts of the staff, my husband was transferred to skilled nursing care. Apparently he had a fungal infection which was not treated and followed him there. His coccyx area was extremely raw because even though he was on strong antibiotics, he was not catheterized until just before he left the facility. He often was left in his urine and feces because the staff thought he had "control" over these functions. He did not. I think he survived being there.

Experiencia fantástica: Professional, caring, supportive staff. Excellent experience with PT and OT on a daily basis. Recreation therapy helped with my relaxation. I enjoyed the variety of therapies. State of the art equipment and highly skilled staff. I didn’t know this kind of equipment existed. Was offered a tasty variety of food each day. I highly recommend Banner West hospital.

Experiencia negativa: The nursing staff and receptionist were great but both the case workers; Madison and Sheila were poor case workers. They ran my friends insurance out and kicked Him out on the very last day that they were being compensated and they sent them to a local quality unhealthy skilled nursing facility that we vehemently 2 hours from his friends. My friend has no living family

As a former nurse I have never seen a rehab center that equals the care and standards of this one. Every single person cares. Every single person has one vision: to get the patient confident , mobile and back to their familiar space. I can’t say enough for this facility. We were lucky to have been sent here and will forever appreciate the amazing culture and care.

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter is a nurse practitioner in Wisconsin. She came to help me find a place for my mom to rehab post hip fracture/hip replacement. We toured facilities for 3 days and my daughter knew all the right questions to ask and all the signs to look for. We chose Banner West and they were amazing. My mom had the best care. The results were more than anyone expected and in a very short amount of time. So pleased with the entire experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely the most caring place to do Physical Therapy. The facility is modern, clean, and staffed with people who treat you like friends and family not like just a patient or client. Sorry to say, but I've been to a few facilities and while they have all been good, BANNER REHABILITATION stands out as one of excellence. If I could leave 15 stars I would love to. When I got here I couldn't even stand on my own. Two days later I can stand and I know when I leave here I'll be able to walk and take care of myself.

The medical Doctors touched base with me daily, monitored my progress and addressed any changes in my tests. I never once encountered staff that wasn't encouraging, patient and always caring.

Our family member was admitted, post brain tumor removal, for many therapies (Nursing, ST, OT, PT). Their care and professionalism is top notch! Their staff is pleasant, down to earth and never hesitate to help! Whether it’s for the patient or a family member visiting, they are there! Even after discharge, when we thought all our questions had been answered, we needed to call them for assistance, they were right there to help answer our questions! We just want to say thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, to all those that helped him come home to us. We are forever grateful to each and every person that we were blessed to have help us! I wouldn’t hesitate to use this facility again, but God willing, we’ll never have to!

Experiencia fantástica: While I can't say I enjoyed being in PT, the staff made the experience so much better. They truly care about their patients and are so professional and kind. I made great progress toward walking again after a serious car accident. Thanks to the staff here getting my pt started on the right track, I am expected to make a full recovery. The facility is also clean.

Experiencia fantástica: My husband spent two weeks in Banner Rehabilitation Hospital West after hip surgery. I can highly recommend it for anyone needing physical therapy. Our experience was outstanding. The staff is so professional and above all kind to the patients and better yet treat the family and friends of patients with respect. They listen to concerns and do whatever they can to find answers and then follow up with you. They are very conscientious about mask wearing which made us feel safer the whole time he was there. Aimee C was our case manager and she always answered our questions before we asked. The whole staff made a well coordinated effort to make his stay as comfortable as possible. I would like to give a shout out to Sharon A….CEO She stopped by with her friendly smile every few days just to see how things were going with us. She leads by example and it was demonstrated everyday in our interactions with every staff member.

I came in with all mobility lost and although I am leaving in a chair the care and encouragement I have received from the care team is divine. Prior to coming to banner rehab west I had not stood up in 33 days; Day two of me being here they had me on my feet, they are here for your success and you can really feel the support here. Chris, Reyna and Tracy you are the reason I am doing do well today, the compassion and positive encouragement has been so amazing. There are definitely hard days and Banner knows and has compassion, they find ways to balance everything out which allows you To feel human and also get the care you need. Please tell the 3 mentioned above how thankful I am for each of them. Visitor perspective The hours can be difficult too navigate if you work or other things going on. Depending on the length of the stay it really can feel isolating. Due to covid and other factors there are not many circumstances a family gets to really interact with each other. (Only patient may eat in room, only visitor can go to cafeteria) im sure all for good reason but can totally take a toll on one. The care received is so fantastic the visitor perspective is back burner thoughts. I could have not asked for a better experience for my mother to had received. 55 days hospitalized is a long time and I'm grateful half of the time was spent with banner rehab west. Thank you to Lori and the other ladies upfront for the constant smiles and small talk.

Experiencia fantástica: My husband had a stroke on Dec. 18th and he went to Banner Rehabilitation Hospital West on January 1, 2023.. Without the care and concern and support from this facility I don't know what we would have done and even if we would have been able to bring him back home!! I would like to thank everyone who worked with us and I know I'll miss some names, but this facility and their staff go above and beyond each day to help support both the patients and the families!! Starting with Dr. Makhija, who would not give up on finding the right blood pressure medicine and worked tirelessly to get the "right combination" so that my husband Carl Anderson could go home, to the nurses, especially Joan Anderson and Michelle who talked me through the confusion and anxiety and helped me understand what was going on every step of the way! Also all the assistants that came in and brought Carl water or plumped his pillows and made sure he was comfortable! Then we have the wonderful Occupational therapist, Marcia Olson and PT therapist, Lindsay who continued to challenge Carl and teach him special "tricks" plus give him great confidence to have the ability to go home again!!! Thank you so much!! Of course, I must thank both case workers Shiela and Mickey, who were extraordinary in helping me throughout this journey!! Both of their expertise on what happens when my husband comes home, from places that loan wheel chairs and other equipment to helping get us into the right Out Patient Therapy!! I couldn't have done it without you!!!! Finally, I'd like to thank Karen at the front desk, who always put up with me losing my badge somehow and making me laugh, and Lori who told me I can do this!!!! Experiencia fantástica: Wow! Banner Rehabilitation Hospital West is so amazing! First of all, the staff is so patient oriented with all their care and concerns. They constantly check on me and make sure I have everything I need. If I need to get up, the nurse or the rehab assistant is right there. I’ve never waited more that a minute! The caring doctors check on me daily. The therapists work with me 4 times a day to strengthen me and give me more mobility and I feel the difference. And I can’t tell you enough good things about the delicious gourmet meals I’ve had. I am so spoiled here!!!! Do I have to go home?

The surgeons are indeed miracle workers and instruments in the hands of God. In the absence of your teamwork, all of that would be rendered inert. I have been the recipient of the talents, dedication, competence and friendship of the finest people I have ever had the great pleasure of association in my life. I have 35 years in as an engineer in the Aerospace and Medical Device fields. In all that time, I have only seen teams that exhibited the highest levels of competence, dedication, and friendliness, with vast accomplishments twice. Those teams had about 20 members each… until now. In your case, everyone, EVERYONE that I have seen everywhere, is of that caliber. Experiencia fantástica: My husband was a patient here for 10 days, following a fairly serious medical issue. He came in using a wheelchair and left with only a cane which he uses for stability. The entire staff was amazing, from his medical team to his PT and OT therapists, his nurses, aides and even the friendly front desk staff. The facility is new and extremely clean. As a visitor, the entire team seemed to welcome and encourage my involvement in his recovery as well. If you’re looking for a facility that truly cares about getting your loved one healthy, I’d put Banner Rehabilitation Hospital West at the top of your list.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff provided excellent care while my husband was here. All of our questions were answered timely. The therapists worked wonders with my husbands rehabilitation. We were impressed by how clean his room was kept and the hospital in general. We would have liked less stringent visitation rules but understand it’s due to covid. Excellent care was given to my husband and excellent guidance and information was given to me which helped reduce my stress.

Experiencia fantástica: No one wants to spend 3 weeks in a rehab facility, but a broken hip sent me to Banner Rehab. I can’t say enough about the entire staff. The nurses and aids were terrific and took such good care of me. The PT staff was simply amazing. They pushed me, praised me and pushed me some more. I owe every bit of my recovery to them.

Experiencia fantástica: I was in Banner Rehab for 3 weeks. The staff was always willing to answer any and all questions. The doctors checked in daily, 7 days a week. The nurses & rehab assistances were available for all of my needs. Most of all, the Physical Therapists & Occupational Therapists were there to help me become independent in order to go home safely. Three hours of therapy a day, 5-6 days a week strengthened the muscles needed to walk. God bless them all for their time and patience.

Experiencia fantástica: The rehab facility is excellent, they really get you back to your old physical strength! The food was good with attention to detail! My experience was this is the facility to come to when your injured and want to return to your life at it fullest! There were some minor hiccups along the way but the return to my old self was worth the time. The physical therapist’s and the occupational therapist are excellent! Chelsea my PT was excellent, she went that extra mile to bring me back my physical self, she listened to my problems and worked through them with care and concern for my physical well-being. I am saying do not injure yourself to come here however this is the place to come if you do!

He said often that they could not be better. He received the best possible care while he was here. He raved about the food as well as the quality of care he received while being here. The facility is fairly new and has all the new and cutting edge medical equipment. The facility was always neat and clean at all times. My husband and I would highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: This is definitely a five-star Rehabilitation from the minute I walked into the hospital, I was greeted with a smile. The nursing staff answered my call light and attended to my every meed they were absolutely amazing. The OT and PT were very helpful and got me through a very difficult time I'm not gonna lie it was definitely a challenge but no pain no gain. I exceeded my expectations and got discharged sooner than I expected The OT and PT became my family couldn't have done it without them My heart goes out to a fantastic team.

Experiencia fantástica: You or your family member will receive the absolute best care available at this location. I am almost in tears as I write this. My mom has shown remarkable improvements since she was transferred there 3 weeks ago. Improvements no other hospital or rehab has been able to accomplish. This location and ALL of their staff are amazing and a perfect example of how a rehab facility should be ran. They are in constant communication with you with regular updates. If something comes up, they don’t sit there and wonder, they call you and ask to make sure your family members is getting the best care. Never any trouble reaching a nurse or anyone on the staff. Yes, visiting hours are limited or not available during Covid but they provide the patient a private room and phone and again are just a phone call away. If you are considering this location, do it!

Experiencia fantástica: I am just finishing up my stay here at Banner Rehabilitation Hospital. Been here for 2 weeks and am very happy I made the choice to come to this hospital. I broke my leg and upon entering the hospital could not get out of bed. After a few days working with the therapy team here I made great progress. Everyone working here is very nice and caring. They seem to put a lot of effort into working within my capabilities. I will be recommending this hospital to anyone who needs post surgical rehabilitation. Oh and the food is great too.

Experiencia fantástica: I chose inpatient rehabilitation vs going straight home from having my TKR (total knee replacement). Upon researching different facilities on goggle, Banner Rehabilitation Hospital West appeared to be the best choice for me. I began my stay 05/15/22 and in those days I have ZERO to complain about!! The ENTIRE staff is top notch!! The teamwork is inspiring... I have to do this again in the future for my left knee so I WILL BE BACK!!! I THANK EVERY SINGLE MEMBER that helped me during my stay!!!!! Experiencia fantástica: I find Banner West Rehabilitation Hospital the best! It is new and clean. The nursing staff are all friendly and very good at their jobs. I can’t say enough about the therapists, both Physical and Occupational. They work on what you need to get back on your feet. They are always encouraging and care about each of their patients. The food is pretty good too. This is the second time I have required acute rehab and my first choice was Banner.

Experiencia fantástica: When I was going to come here, I was terrified. I had a bilateral amputation and didn't know what to expect. 3 weeks later I have learned a lot. Staff is quick at helping out, everyone is friendly, and as a patient, we have a VOICE! Food is good and the room is clean and so spacious. Anytime I needed help, staff was there. I've never heard any complaint or gesture of displeasure from them. They all have positive attitudes. This is definitely needed when you are healing and needing to be safe. I fully trust all the staff. Therapy is hard and they will push you, but you will thank them when it's done. Even a nurse came in on her day off to come and take care of my wounds. This nurse has been on top of my care and is amazing! They are all willing to do anything for you.

The therapists work with you to reach the ultimate goal of being more independent and I can personally say I feel more comfortable going back out in the real world. There is nothing negative I can think to say about this place. It's the loveliest group of people I hope to never see again.

Your Love One will be taken care as family. Our family is so thankful to everyone. My mother was treated with the respect she deserves..Nurses and aides took good care of Mom to make sure her health and welfare were tended to.. P.T., O.T., and speech therapy were highly skilled and worked Mom hard while making it palatable. for her. She even made friends with the cleaning crew. We highly recommend Banner Rehabilitation Hospital West.

Experiencia fantástica: I have no complaints what do ever about this specific banner rehabilitation medical center. Where should I start with the so many great aspects of my personal experience while I stayed here for recovery from a broken left leg, a sprained right leg, and a broken back. The staff here are highly considerable always asked me how I felt and made me feel extremely spoiled. Staff are all really nice and very professional. From the nurses to the therapist were so understanding with me and the pain I was in so I never felt pressured to do any exercises that bout me in more pain. Due to their extensive professional backgrounds they always provide alternatives that fit my current condition. For example since I needed help to get up and walk the staff and therapist always made sure to support me by walking near me and guiding me with physical support while I attempted to walk. The food here is healthy but most importantly for me tasty and diverse in the options you can eat. My doctors and case managers went above and beyond to arrange transportation and housing for me upon my discharge date which made me feel no stress at all. The exercises were fun and interesting to engage with and never did the same thing, it was always different fun but effective work outs that were suitable for my body’s condition. I recommend this rehabilitation center if you want a good quality of staff and a unforgettable positive experience. Thank you for those who helped me get back to on my feet while I stayed here you are missed and have my utmost appreciation.

Experiencia fantástica: This intense rehabilitation was amazing. The staff at every position was friendly and took such good care of me. We worked on medications and adjustments, food choices and adjustments, and the team continuously worked together to ensure the best workouts for me and my body. I am leaving better than I was before this injury. I found muscles that I had given up on ever using. As a result my confidence has improved and I cannot wait to show my family the improvements and will continue physical therapy as an outpatient. I would recommend this rehab to anyone and everyone. Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been in several rehab facilities across the states, both as a visitor and a patient. Banner Rehab West is by far the very best. From the cleanliness of the building to the friendliness and professionalism of all employees.I had a stroke on Mother’s Day, 2022 and after 7 days here, I was discharged and walked out needing only the help of a cane, thanks to the OT’s and PT’s! The nursing staff also did an outstanding job. It’s hard to signal out one person but I have to thank Jazz, Bridget, Kendra, Angel and Olga for taking care of me. I feel they went above and beyond to help make my stay the best possible. Keep up the good work!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been in four different rehab facilities in Phoenix over the past three years. This one is outstanding!! The staff is very efficient and caring. The food is good. I have really improved during my stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is OUTSTANDING. Their staff works to get the patient into self-sufficiency in close to 2 weeks. My stay was 17 days. I'm now home getting Outpatient Physical Therapy. The staff has 3 or 4 sessions of therapy daily, except weekends. They offer so dat many hints for how to move without pain, and take little steps, encouraging and noticing each little improvement. I was amazed when the supervisor gave me an estimated discharge date many days in advance, and found myself ready on the date she had given me. I'm dealing with pelvic fractures which are painful for movement and must heal, cannot have surgery. This place is about 1 1/2 years old and the best kept secret for speedy and immensely successful. Experiencia fantástica: I received outstanding care while I was recovering at this facility. I was so impressed with the consistency of all staff following the same procedures and protocol. All the therapists were very professional and motivational. I saw two doctors everyday and they really took the time to listen to me and answer all my questions. The nurses and the nursing assistants were amazing! You could sense the teamwork they had in making sure my needs were met. NEVER did I wait even 5 minutes for a response to a call light no matter what time of day it was. Even ordering my meals was personalized and always done by caring, friendly people. If I would ever need this type of therapy recovery again I want to be at this facility.

Experiencia fantástica: I was defiantly cared for right from the start. Everyone provided professional care. The care from each person from my nurses to my therapists were outstanding. Everyone is happy and friendly, never a grouchy nurse like other hospitals. I have never had a problem getting anything I needed and they are there for everything I need. This place has all the facilities I need to recover. Chetna spoke to my family about training them to help me when I go home so they are comfortable caring for me. It is a comfort being and here from the moment you arrive. It gave me the sense that I can handle this.

Experiencia fantástica: I have never been in a rehab facility in my life. But after fracturing my hip, I had no choice. And they sent me to the best rehab hospital in all of Arizona. My two week stay far outdid my expectations and am so grateful for the best nurses and therapist that I have ever encountered. The therapists were very knowledgeable and did a super job getting me back on my feet. Will be forever grateful for the care I received there, thank you all for a super good job.

Experiencia fantástica: I stayed here in March after successfully surgery to remove a cystic tumor. I received outstanding care and the daily physical and occupational therapy helped me prepare for my home recovery and outpatient rehabilitation. I am so grateful to Banner for providing such excellent care for the success of my recovery. I’m home now and getting back to being independent and happy. I am so grateful for the care I received from the doctors and medical staff that were there for me through the days/weeks after my surgery. I was very comfortable there. I am telling you they did everything that could possibly be done to care and keep me safe for during my 3 weeks stay there. Thank you very very much Banner!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I had my post surgery rehabilitation of 20 days at Banner West Rehabilitation Center. I had excellent care, encouragement from the nurses, occupational and physical therapists. I received excellent training, guidance, education and rehabilitation, I have substantially improved. I can not say enough about the center. The facility itself is newly built, amazingly beautiful, clean, the Staff are wonderful, caring, the food is of a great quality. Experiencia fantástica: I can not say enough good things about Banner Rehab West! I was very hesitant at first about going to a rehab center. I suffered from a TBI at the age of 31. I thought I could just figure things out on my own once I was back home. I thought I would be able to easily get back to my “normal” life after surgery. Once I was out of surgery however I was still unable to walk or use my left arm and I was in constant pain. My mobility had left me and I couldn’t do simple task without assistance. My family and I decided to take a chance and try out Banner rehabilitation. From the beginning it was such a good experience. The facility is spotless and the perfect place to help you recover. All of the staff is very knowledgeable and extremely exceptional and what they do. They are kind, empathetic and truly passionate about helping people heal and gain back their independence. After about 3 weeks of treatment here I have been able to regain the function in my left arm and am making great progress in walking on my own again without assistance . The people I have meet here and who have helped me get to this point have made a tremendous impact in my life and recovery and I am very thankful to them.
