If you are on the fence on whether or not you need physical therapy or if it will really help, do yourself a favor and make an appointment here. I really thought I was just going to have to live in pain for the rest of my life. I had tried other places recommended by my ortho doctor and I was seeing little, if any progress. I had a work schedule change so needed to do my appointments at night. Athletico was able to accommodate evening appointments and was covered by my insurance so I thought I would try one more place. Turns out it was the last place I needed. I actually looked forward to my appointments because of the relief I felt after each session and I progressed every week until I was back to my old self. I cannot say enough about Bryon. He is knew exactly what I needed and pushed me just hard enough which translated to improvement and less pain every week. Thank you so much!!

Experiencia fantástica: I was initially referred to Athletico by my urologist. None of the testing showed anything related to the Interstitial Cystitis I am being treated for. I was cynical that pelvic floor physical therapy could help with the pain I was experiencing. After one session with Amanda I was no longer cynical! Amanda was great at explaining things and she made me feel very comfortable. My condition improved greatly, and as I would be dismissed from the pelvic floor therapy soon, Amanda mentioned that I would benefit from therapy to help with symptoms I deal with from Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). Amanda introduced me to another therapist, Samantha. Sam began helping me with both balance and stamina. She has challenged me in the best ways. I am so amazed at the improvement in my stamina as well as my balance! I highly recommend Athletico Peoria North and their entire team of therapists. Thank you Amanda, Samantha, Bryon, Trisha, and Leah for all you have done to help me!

He is great at helping you step by step get your injury back to an acceptable condition. Experiencia fantástica: I went in for a running gait analysis (my visits were not injury related). Both Bryon and Sam were fantastic! I am training for a multi day Ultra race. Bryon provided analysis on my gait initially, taking his advice on small changes had a noticeable impact (running was easier and my pace increased) in the next few weeks. I worked with Sam on my strength training regiment over several weeks and was able to tweak my current plan to focus on specific exercises that related directly to running support and areas I needed to work on. Overall great experience!

Experiencia fantástica: Bryon, my PT at the Peoria North location was the perfect balance of "encourager" and "taskmaster" when recovering from a spinal fusion operation in January. He had a great sense of humor. During my 14 weeks of therapy, he listened to me and patiently answered all of my questions and concerns. I have surpassed my goal of being able to care for a 23 pound grand son and can repeatedly lift more than twice that weight. I never thought I could progress this much on the standing, walking, lifting and bending front. I am a female in my late sixties. If I am ever injured or need rehab for any other reason, I will return to Bryon at Athletico.

Experiencia fantástica: I started coming to Athletico shy, scared, and timid. When I met Bryon I knew we were going to be a great pair. I went in for a simple back problem and ended up staying 3 weeks in the hospital. I couldn't even walk 30 feet and by this time I had to use a walker. Bryon was always there cheering me on as I got better and better after my Illness and diagnosis. He puts his time into you. I'm now known around Athletico from Missy to other DPT's. Bryon never gave up on me. That's what I needed. I was so close to throwing in the towel. I couldn't bathe myself, dress myself, move in bed, cook, and work. With the help of Bryon I am working half days after being off since December. If I had to choose where to go again Athletico is where I'm headed. It's not often you find a provider that calls you to make sure you get home safe. Every single one of the physical therapist are amazing and I'd see any one of them. Bryon just got stuck with my sass and complaining, but he takes it like a champ. I love coming to PT just so I can see everyone especially missy. She's always there to answer my calls and fit me in places. She's great! I feel at home there. But if I have to do another sit to stand I may crumble into pieces.

When I came in my shoulder was so bad that I couldn't turn my head to look for traffic, lift my grandbabie, reach item on overhead shelves. The worst was not resting because I couldn't lay on my left shoulder without pain. After my therapy sessions, I am able to do all of these things and so much more. The therapist that work here are amazing. Also, they are so friendly and helpful.

He is very knowledgeable and within 20 minutes had me doing movements to free up my back to release my muscles and the tension that they were causing with my pinched nerve. Each week Bryan works hard at helping me create new solutions to the problems at hand. He does at great job at creating a plan for the week that’ll help me improve my condition over time and paces it accordingly to how I feel.
