My family and I have always chosen to be seen by him since we moved to Germantown Hills and have never been disappointed by the end results of physical therapy or any chiropractic needs we have had and still might have. The qualities of a chiropractor we looked for were kindness and a good bed side manner, time flexibility, and making sure we were valued as a patient. He has met every one of those qualities and more throughout the years. I have been to both his chiropractic locations in Peoria and Germantown Hills and have always been greeted with a smile and a warm conversation by all of the receptionists and team members.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Tim Kaufman is my go to person when I have a "flareup" with my chronic back issues. I have been a patient at his office for decades. I can go to an MD who is quick to prescribe drugs and physical therapy. I have found over the years that Dr. Kaufman can treat the issue without drugs, much quicker with longer periods of sucess than any other kind of doctor. I usually see 75% reduction in my symptoms within 3-4 visits. Continuing my visits for 4-6 weeks has me almost pain free until I do something that triggers another episode. No one else has given me this type of relief so quickly.

Experiencia fantástica: As an off-road triathlete, I’m really hard on my body. I went to Dr Kaufman in October after my triathlon season ended with severe lower back pain. Not wanting to take any days off of my training, Dr Kaufman put me on a plan that worked into my training so I didn’t have to stop. Along with the treatments, he advised multi-vitamins that give me energy throughout the day. By the end of December, I didn’t have any lower back pain and I am starting 2020 feeling great! Bring on the 2020 triathlon season! ‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️

My range of motion overall has improved so much thanks to these guys. Experiencia fantástica: After a major fall, a trip to the ER and three weeks of major pain in forearms, I went to Dr Kaufman and so glad I did. The ER doctor said "go to orthopedic surgeon" but not real crazy about surgery or taking drugs. Now I was VERY NERVOUS about someone doing adjustments on my neck but Dr Kaufman is GREAT! Five weeks later I am over 92% improvement, lifting weights again and doing HIIT intervals on my bike. When I asked FB for recommendations for a Chiropractor in the area, 14 people responded but only one name showed up multiple times (3) and that was Dr Kaufman. Check him out, you will not be disappointed!

I was in so much pain that I could not even stand up, much less walk! The entire staff and all of the Doctors in this office have excellent bed side manners! I highly recommend them and it’s huge for me to be spoken to with respect and they were great at explaining to me what the issue was with my back - without using words I couldn’t understand. Started with TMJ, I had seen a doctor who wanted to break my jaw to fix it and I wanted no part of that so I went to see Dr. Kaufman and he said he could help by adjusting, no need to break. He worked wonders and I have continued chiropractic treatments on a monthly basis ever since. The funny thing is now it isn’t even for my jaw but for overall wellness! Recently, I had a fall and experienced whiplash and called right away, between adjustments, icing and muscle stimulation I was feeling better again in a short time. Dr. Kaufman is kind, patient and very knowledgeable. His staff, including the other chiropractors, is friendly and everyone works together to help you in the best way possible. The massage therapists are also great and charge reasonable prices. Now with two locations, it makes services even more convenient. Experiencia fantástica: I just met Dr. Kaufman and his staff one week ago today. Wow!! I have several issues and Dr. Kaufman addressed all of them and went over treatment options with me. I finally feel like I'm going to get the help I need! NO pushiness about treatment. Just informing the patient and letting the patient choose what course of action they prefer to take. He lets the patient know what he recommends but lets the patient choose. My husband is now a patient as well. Dr. Kaufman is very informative and explains things in terms that non-doctorspeak people can understand. His staff is amazing, as is Dr. Sam. They are casual and are all about patient comfort. I am a 22 year old personal trainer and formal College football player were I sustained a injury that starting curving my lower back. I started having lower back pain, it was progressively getting worse and was not able to do daily activities and exercising. I had never been to a chiropractor before, so I was nervous. But Dr. Sam has helped change my life immensely and I can not thank him and Kaufman Wellness Center enough for restoring my back to where it was before my injury.

After hearing about Dr. Sam and his work, I thought I would give it one last shot with a different chiropractor before I went to my PCP. He listened to what my concerns were, tailored his communication in a way for me to understand him, and he encouraged me every step of the way. Experiencia fantástica: I was 24 weeks pregnant when I came down with a terrible cold and cough. I called my OB and they told me there wasn’t much they could do and I could take over-the-counter mucinex and regular strength robitussin. After a week of being miserable and awful deep chest coughing, I felt at least one rib out of place. The pain in my chest was stabbing and sharp especially when I continued to cough. My husband convinced me to see a chiropractor. I was in so much pain that I readily agreed and made an appointment with Dr. Kaufman. Dr. Kaufman listened to my issue and was completely sympathetic to my pregnancy concerns. After his assessment, he made an adjustment and I immediately felt a reduction in pain and was fully able to take a full breath. I did not realize how restricted and tight my chest had become until then. He explained that I had 3 ribs out (2 on the left and 1 on the right). I continued with several more appointments until my rib cage and spine were more loose, or flexible, and my back muscles had relaxed. The whole experience was great! The relief I felt after one visit completely reduced my pain but also my stress of pregnancy complications. I won’t hesitate the next time I have any rib or back pain!

Experiencia fantástica: After 6 months of numerous medications, physical therapy, and three spinal injections from another provider, I was told that surgery was the next option for the displaced disk in my neck - which was causing severe nerve pain and muscle atrophy in my right arm, neck and shoulder. I started researching alternative options and decided to try chiropractic. Within a couple of weeks, Dr. Kaufman and his staff had me moving better and the pain was reducing. A couple months later (with regular visits to Kafuman's), I am excited to say that I almost completely pain free and the atrophying muscles are coming back. The doctors gave me an honest evaluation, were extremely knowledgeable, and were confident they could improve my condition.
