But with the utmost professional care that I received from Derrick and Lexi I am now able to walk without any cane or crutches. Experiencia fantástica: I would highly recommend Lepre PT to anyone who needs rehab for weakness, post surgery or after a sporting injury. I came to see Josh after suffering from a lifting injury for 5 years. At first I was skeptical with how much PT would help since this has been persisting for so long. Josh was great from our initial encounter. He explained everything he was doing and laid out a plan with me being cognizant of my busy school schedule. Everytime I came in, I was always greeted with a smile and I was super impressed with all of the staff getting to know my name and helping me with whatever exercise I was doing. Josh was very in tune to what my physical limitations were, but also pushed me to get stronger. I can't believe the difference in 3 months with my posture and I am not enduring constant back pain anymore. I am very happy I came here for my rehabilitation.

Experiencia fantástica: Paul Volpe has treated me at the N. Providence location for Lepre for a variety of issues. First and foremost, he cares deeply about helping you go about your daily life comfortably. It is obvious within minutes that his attention to detail and knowledge of how to treat his patients is off the charts. I'm sure referring physicians love working with Paul and I know for a fact his patients do. The work we do in PT is vital, but he also sends you home with routines that will help supplement in between and keep you strong all the time. Without question, go to Lepre for your Physical Therapy.

I came here for my first one and knew to come right back for the second. I mainly worked with Justin and he and the practice are nothing short of amazing. He knew exactly what my body needed to heal and progressed through all of the exercises and encouraged the work. Both times I was way ahead of the process and enjoyed all of it. Experiencia fantástica: I had never been to physical therapy before so had no clue what to expect - and honestly I had an unexpected twinge of anxiety heading into it. With that said, I could not have been happier with the experience and the results. My primary PT was Lexi; she was so easy to connect with - kind, patient and caring. She also provided some complimentary laughter along the way, it’s supposedly the best medicine, right? ;) Everyone in the office is wonderful: the front desk folks, interns and each PT. I felt extremely comfortable and like I could have asked anyone anything and they would have helped me, even if it wasn’t their responsibility to do so. As much as I’m thankful to be on the mend and to have my schedule freed up, I honestly miss the office!

Tyler was my primary therapist and he was fantastic! Attentive, listened and addressed my questions, and always validated my concerns, however silly they may have been at the time! Although surgery is still most likely my solution, Lauren and Tyler were awesome and got my hips much stronger and more stable than I was when I first started. Each and every person that I have encountered at the facility since day one has been beyond exceptional. From the knowledgeable physical therapists to the dedicated support staff, each patient is treated as they are the only one that matters. This has been an invaluable experience that has quite literally changed my life by helping me recover from chronic knee pain that has been an issue for over a decade. Tyler is personable, professional, and quickly became a friend. It’s not often that you can say you look forward to a physical therapy appointment, but Tyler and the rest of the team at Pappas (shout out to Kiki) make the experience so enjoyable. I have been dealing with an injury for over a year and they have done nothing but alleviate my pain and build up my strength. Aside from receiving great treatment the staff and environment were amazing. While I worked mainly with Tyler and Lauren I got to know every PT and aid. The clinic is always full of laughter which makes it fun. I highly recommend if you are in need of PT! All of the staff goes above and beyond for each patient and their treatment!

Experiencia fantástica: I’d been struggling to find a seasoned, productive RI PT for a chronic hip issue. Early in 2020, I was referred, by a well respected RI orthopedics group, to Pappas PT/Josh Perry as “the best in Rhode Island”. I’ve done bodywork for 27yrs, so I’m picky. He surpassed expectations - in both the Nth Providence + Lincoln office. The first thing I noticed is the really good, professional teamwork of the people who work there, both front office and in clinic which put me at ease right away. Josh’s care in understanding exactly where I was at during the intake and subsequent appointments was assuring. His encouragement to go past limiting ideas that I had about my ability was so helpful AND he respected my true limits.. He’s also got an eagle eye for form. Although I still needed a hip replaced, the pre-op work I did was immensely helpful in making the post-op healing period a breeze. Josh really extended himself for the pre-post op period to make sure I worked with the best people + also liaised with my personal trainer. His detailed and genuine care is rare as is his commitment to excellence in his business. I was amazed to get a followup call after my first post-op session with him. How sweet is that? I’ve recommended this company to friends and they are as happy as I am with it. Their cleaning protocols are also excellent and I feel safe going to both locations. This is the place to go for great therapeutic care.

Experiencia fantástica: Our Daughter went to Pappas after a devastating hip injury. She suffered an Avulsion hip fracture while playing soccer. Pappas got us in right a way and treated our daughter with such expertise and care. Josh immediately started working with her to bring down the inflammation and easing her discomfort. As the weeks progressed he gradually worked in appropriate excercises. He was amazing!! Josh got her back up to speed and back in her game stronger than she was before. She continues to increase her strength and is now back to playing the game she loves all thanks the Josh and the staff at Pappas! They are amazing!!!!

He has a great bedside manner and truly took the time to listen to all of my concerns before we started the sessions each week. I worked with Josh for several weeks after I broke my pelvis and I made a full recovery thanks to him and his detail oriented care. Josh goes above and beyond and truly cares about his patients. I highly recommend this place!

I can’t say enough good things about the team at Pappas. They are empathetic, caring and dedicated. Experiencia fantástica: Let me start by saying if I could rate Pappas higher than a 5, I would. I discovered Pappas PT in 2010 when I partially tore my achilles. I met Josh and it became a friendship that would help me for years to come and still does. He and his team got me through my achilles injury and I was able to go back to walking, shopping and the gym without pain. The PT tape he used was absolutely helpful. I then went back to Pappas for a limp. I didn't know what was causing it and he watched me walk, do other movements and told me my IT band was tight. BOY WAS HE RIGHT! Started physical therapy and it got better. He would also tape my knee knowing I was going to workout. Thereafter continously exercising and not stretching or resting tendons, I went to Josh for my shoulders, neck, both rotator cuffs which he diagnosed my small tear in the left and suggested an MRI, he was right. I didn't need surgery but Josh set my expectations and told me how the surgery and PT would be if I had the surgery and it was the exact same thing my ortho doctor told me. All in all, I feel Josh has put me back together to function and go back to exercising. I would recommend Pappas to anyone and everyone. Nannette, a Pappas patient since 2010

I have a chronic issue with my shoulder and they have all been so helpful educating me on what I need to do to work through it. I find my visits to be something I look forward to.

Experiencia fantástica: We drive over an hour to get to this clinic for the best services in the state. Two of my athlete children had an injury within one week of each other. Pappas went above and beyond in dealing with our difficult schedules, and teenagers who can be difficult to get information out of. The therapists made great connections with both girls, and alleviated their pain within a short time. My girls still talk about their therapists and complete their exercises as needed. We can't thank Josh enough for his care and support.

Experiencia negativa: I was in physical therapy at the North Providence Pappas location for a little over a year. I was being treated for my hip and complained of knee pain on the same leg for about 9 months. Josh told me that the pain was due to that hip being weak, and it was brushed off without him ever doing more than taping it a few times so I could get through my session. After my knee was too swollen to walk, it was found that pain was from having no cartilage behind that kneecap. Had anyone in that office stopped making fun of patients (using their first and last names; for how they were walking into the clinic from their car, for their reasons for cancelling, for messages left), this could have been found earlier. The worst part was that I spoke to Josh about how uncomfortable it made me for staff to talk about other patients in front of me, twice. Don’t go here.

Experiencia fantástica: I live a pretty active lifestyle and unfortunately I am prone to injury. My last injury couldn't have come at a worse time. In the middle on March 2020, at the height of COVID 19 shutdowns. I was experiencing severe lower back pain accompanied by sciatic nerve pain. The pain was so severe that I had to make a trip to the ER. Upon my visit I was told that I could benefit from physical therapy, but they were not offering PT because of COVID. I called Pappas and was given an in person appointment within 2 days at a time when even my primary care physician didn't want to see me in person. Looking back at the level of preparedness that this office displayed during this crisis, was absolutely amazing. They had all the procedures in place from the very beginning to keep their staff and patients safe. The entire staff had personal protective equipment, hand sanitizer was in abundance and they literally disinfected anything that was touched, to include the elastic resistance bands. I spent 8 weeks rehabilitating my back issue and I am extremely grateful for the expertise and quality of care that was exhibited at Pappas. Thank you for helping me at a very difficult time. You all are true examples of essential workers and I will forever be grateful for what you do!

Experiencia fantástica: I came to Pappas Physical and Hand Therapy, North Providence, after 5 years of chronic pain and multiple procedures, including two surgeries. Josh immediately put me at ease! While being professional, he was genuinely interested in my experiences. He patiently guided me in making bold changes in both body and mind, while developing a personal physical therapy regimen. He also taught me about the benefits of dry needling and the negative effects of fixating on my pain. I always feel at home when I walk into Pappas; Colleen and the other staff members will often say hello and interact with me like I am family! If you have had discouraging experiences with previous physical therapy, I would fully recommend giving it another chance at Pappas! They will treat you like family too!

Every practitioner in this space, carries with them a noticeable, personable and friendly presence that was felt and easily recognized during my 4 months of PT. You can be confident you’re in good hands, not matter who is helping you through your healing process. I worked with Josh and Tyler during my time. Josh is humble, yet clearly has a high level of mastery in this field and his slow and steady approach, focusing on performing truly correct movements, lead to my ultimate high level of success and a pain free exit from the program. After three years of chronic lower back and hip pain and numerous, unsuccessful PT experiences, for me, this was a miraculous outcome. Although, Josh was confident from the beginning that I would get to this point. I genuinely enjoyed and even looked forward to working hard and executing my program, being surrounded by such positivity. I cannot say enough about the atmosphere and PT philosophy that has been nurtured here under Josh’s mentorship. This ethos worked its magic, especially on the days that I didn’t want to be there. That feeling always turned into motivation instead of feeling defeated. Over time, it was the weekly personal victories that made me believe I could heal my injury. This in itself put me in a powerful achievement based mindset that made all the difference. I am so grateful!

Experiencia fantástica: I started going to Pappas 3 months ago for pain in my legs, hips, and knees. Within 2 weeks of treatment with Josh, I could feel incredible improvement. At one point I hurt my back moving a heavy dresser and was in excruciating pain. I went in to see Josh where he made a few adjustments and I walked out pain free. I also developed a trigger during this time and started hand therapy which was the result of arthritis as well. Within one month I was able to regain total use of my hand pain free. Due to My positive experience my daughter and grandson are being treated by Josh at pappas. Three generations all at the same time. Every person working at Pappas is friendly, helpful and cautious. In closing, I would HIGHLY recommend Pappas

I was treated with respect, received a thorough examination and ongoing treatment plan, and was met with a smiling face by every employee. The front desk staff were great, my therapist Josh was fantastic, and the rest of his staff really made for a 5 star experience. I would recommend this PT and will return to this location if I need any further services.

I’ve gone to other reputable physical therapy locations and none have offered the same level of care or provided the same comfortable atmosphere that Pappas provides. It can sometimes be overwhelming to have pain and commit to a weekly appointments however, I personally look forward to my appointments at Pappas because I almost always leave feeling better than when I arrived. Experiencia fantástica: I was referred to Pappas Physical and Hand Therapy in October 2018 after a neck injury that I had dealt with for a long time started to cause numbness down my arm. I was given an appointment quickly, and they started working to help me get better on day 1. I was assigned to Kendra, who in my opinion is just an amazing therapist and a great human being all-around! Tyler also assisted Kendra with my therapy and he is a great guy, always bringing a smile to my face and making sure I was doing my exercises properly . Although I was being treated there about 4 months, they had about 4 years of neck issues to help me get through. I am happy to say that I am very close to pain free and the numbness is gone! I never thought I would have no pain, as I had learned to just live with it for years. They truly made me a believer of Physical Therapy! I recently had surgery for a torn meniscus, and my Ortho recommended some PT to help with the post surgical pain and tightness. Of course, I chose Pappas, not even a question! I asked for Kendra and she got me started quickly. I am less than 3 months post-op and was just discharged. The whole staff at Pappas Physical and Hand Therapy are very caring, knowledgeable, and very talented individuals. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for a reputable place to have PT. You won’t be disappointed!
