Experiencia negativa: Offered my mom accomodations for her disability and then took them away without communicating and closed her sessions. When brought to their attention, the supervisor talked over me. She thought we were upset about their 30 day policy. If she would have listened instead of explaining the policy over and over, she would've known we were upset about offering ADA accommodations and then taking them away with no further discussion. My mother said that until she gets her artificial leg, she was essentially bed bound and couldn't make appointments, but this referral was put in place before her health declined so she still wants to try and get through the sessions. The receptionist offered to put my mom on a call list so she would be scheduled the same day, then she would know if she could come in since every day is questionable. She was told she can go at her own pace and that she was safe from being closed out. My mom got a couple calls to come in for an appointment, but then no more. Based on the information given, you can only assume there weren't any open appointments. Mind you, day by day my mom can hardly walk to the bathroom on her own. Anyway they never called so she got her new leg and called to make an appointment. They closed out her sessions. She's trying to figure out why, but the person doesn't seem to know about any of these past conversations about taking your time and being on the call list. Even though her last appointment was scheduled by them calling her, they had no record of this. The supervisor refused to hear any of this; the only question she answered was that physical therapists don't have control over that because of the 30 day policy. If your own staff doesn't know about the policy, how are we supposed to know until being told? Why are you allowed to offer accomodations that aren't supported by your policies? She refused to answer and then proceeded to tell my mother that her getting her accomodations taken away shouldn't matter as long as they can reactivate her sessions. There wouldn't be a disability act in place if the accomodations didn't matter. When I got upset her saying it shouldn't matter, she said she wouldn't schedule my mom until talking to the owner. I said that she was using my emotions against me. She said that never happened and that I'm putting words in her mouth even though she just said she couldn't understand why going through this would be that big of a deal for my mother. Just because you don't use the words "I'm using your emotions against you" doesn't mean you aren't through your actions (talking over the person with the concern, condescending tone, minimizing the concern, refusing to schedule an appointment because you can't force me into not being upset). Maybe it's not a big deal to you because you didn't have your accomodations taken away from you during the most desperate time of your life. You knew the situation was untraditional, you could have turned her away or put the referral on hold but you set her expectations and then gaslit her. As a caregiver I don't feel safe taking my mother here alone and I may have no choice but to take her to Colorado springs for physical therapy. It's not the policy. I understand policies. It's the lack of communication because your own staff didn't know. You'd think a physical therapy company would be more understanding and less condescending especially when you're not the person who set this up. It sounds like as the supervisor, it's your job to make sure staff understands policies and can explain them to others, but you failed to do so and put the blame on the patient. But instead it was "take your time, we'll call you when have a same day opening" and then closing it without calling...while she's on a call list that you offered to put her on..... That doesn't sound like y'all are in the same page at all.

I ended up going with Synergy PT, and I’m really glad I did, these people are great! Professional, knowledgeable and compassionate , Dan, Paul and Hanna all worked me hard and kept me safe. I was greeted with smiles and confidence on what they could do for me. My wonderful physical therapist Paul was able to take care of with problem with an elbow massage. I can't thank him enough for relieving that tight muscle on the side of my leg. I feel a lot better since he did that. Paul is also very easy to talk to, and made me laugh. I couldn't ask for a better Physical Therapist. All of the staff was wonderful and caring. Thanks again to Michelle and especially Paul.

Experiencia fantástica: The ENTIRE staffs at Synergy Physical Therapy and Wellness, is fantastic!!! I went there 2x/week for 6 weeks for physical therapy on my torn rotator cuff. This was in lieu of undergoing surgery to see if it would help. I didn't have much hope that it would, however, I was pleasantly surprised to notice how much better my shoulder was feeling after only a few weeks!! My main therapist was Kassidy, and she pushed me rather hard, but always told me to stop if and when I felt any pain. The entire staff is very friendly, yet professional. They really do care about improving ones quality of life. I would highly recommend Synergy to anyone needing any type of physical therapy. For years the initials, P.T. jokingly translated into Physical Torture... :-) But, my 12 visits there were far from torturous, I actually looked forward to all my appointments. Most all Physical Therapy businesses could use a boost, as there is that stigma that I previously mentioned regarding how painful PT can be. However, Synergy, is one of several that I have utilized over that past 40 years, and they are by far the best that I have ever encountered. Synergy is locally owned by Joseph Ruzich and I feel as though he has taken the right approach to his business, as the majority of his staff are not just people who have taken the necessary training to become a certified physical therapist, Many have their doctorates in physical therapy. I highly recommend Synergy Physical Therapy and Wellness!!!!

I called 2 weeks ago to cancel all further appointments and who ever i spoke with didn't cancel my future appointment and now i getting a late cancel fee of $40. I spoke with Taylor and shes kinda rude. Just an FYI to anyone else who chancels get the name of the person and make sure they follow through on what they say they are going to do.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been to two other Physical therapy places and I have to say Synergy is the best. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Derek, Tammy and Hannah were awesome. As a PTA, Tammy was amazing. You could tell she knows her stuff. She was able to train a student, work with patients and give advice to other PTAs all at the same time. I definitely felt stronger after my six weeks and more knowledgeable about what I need to do to keep that strength. Look forward to recovering with them after my next knee surgery.

Experiencia fantástica: I was referred to Synergy for shoulder physical therapy. I was evaluated by Dan. Dan and I set goals. The 8 sessions slowly built up strengthening till the goals were meant. I saw Dan, Paul and Hanna. The high quality, kindness, humor, knowledge, and professionalism was fantastic and consistent between therapists. My at home exercises and expectations for same were explained well and documented with instructions and pictures. The overall environment is happy and caring. The facility is modern and clean. After the sessions I was given some "forever" exercises for me to do 4 times per week so I would not digress back to the condition I started with them. They also will do follow up calls to see how I am doing. I was not just a number and a $ source, I was and am a person at Synergy.

I was scheduled to go on a month-long trip to New Zealand in November, but was hospitalized with pinched nerves in my back about 3 weeks before I was due to leave. Upon release I still couldn't walk well and couldn't get into any PTs near the San Luis Valley where I live until late December. In desperation I reached out to the Synergy team. Joe, the owner, called me back immediately and went out if his way to schedule me right away when I explained my situation. They did cold laser and micro-current treatments, which felt awesome and improved my condition immensely. Because of the Synergy crew, who were so kind and helpful, I was able to not only go on my New Zealand trip, but do 5-6 mile hikes, kayak, and carefully crawl around on a cave tour - all with minimal aches. I can't say enough how thankful I am to have found Synergy and for all of their help to make my trip a reality!!

Experiencia fantástica: The therapists are all very good at evaluation and education. They work at your (the patient) rate for maximum outcome. The daily exercises build strength and stamina and the daily stretches maximize flexibility. Like all physical therapy, you get out what you put in, but these therapists make it easy to get results.

Experiencia fantástica: Hi, my name is David and in July l suffered a distal bicept tendon tear in my right arm. My dominate arm. I needed surgery to repair the tear and my arm was placed in a cast for 8 weeks. When the cast was removed, my arm swelled up and l was unable to staighten my arm . There was no strength in my grip. I couldn't even hold a coffee cup. I started Physical Therapy at Synergy. On the first day Derek did my orientation took some measurements and set goals for my therapy. My wife and l thank you for that. I also want to thank Maria for locking in my appointments on days that were suitable for my therapy. She also sent reminders the day before to make sure l would keep my appointment. That was much appreciated. My P.T. was Tammy a.k.a. The Tammynator. She's a tough P.T. who keeps you on task and works hard to make sure you improve every visit. Her knowledge of breaking down scar tissue and gaining mobility in my arm, wrist and elbow was important to my recovery. She also used Dolphine Neurostin acupuncture simulation treatment. This was very important to my therapy. Along with strength training within my arms limits. Thanks Tammy for making sure l improved every visit. My second P.T. was Ally. She made sure my overall strength was there to return to the workforce with confidence. She also implied the dolphine treatment into my therapy. Overall me, my wife and family really have something to be thankful for this holiday season. Thanks to all you guys that take the time to help patients like me get back to a normal life. There's a lot out there!!!

Experiencia fantástica: First, I am strongly recommending Synergy to family and friends because I want the people I care about to get the same excellent care that I have received there. I recently had a bulging (herniated) L4-L5 disk and saw three other practitioners (not physical therapists) before coming to Synergy. Derrick at Synergy correctly honed in on the problem which others had missed (an MRI with a neurosurgeon in the Springs confirmed it). A few weeks of PT with Synergy has alleviated the symptoms by 80% and with what I learned I am now finishing up on my own. Nice - a full recovery without surgery! Don't pick health care pro's because they are nice, even though they are very nice at Synergy. Trust me, choose them for the competence. My thanks to Dan, Derrick, Tammy, and everyone at Synergy!

My exercises at home were fully explained as to the importance of continuing them and doing them correctly. My therapy is complete, my problem has been solved, and I feel comfortable in giving these comments. The well trained and attentive staff helped me through rotator cuff rehabilitation and I achieved 95% success. I have been experiencing lower back pain so my primary care sent me to physical therapy at a local hospital. While their care was okay it was not the level of attention I received at Synergy. Experiencia fantástica: After my shoulder replacement surgery, I was cautious (afraid) about even straightening my arm, so as I walked into Synergy, I was a bit timid. But after working with Derek, Tammy, and Allie, I was no longer timid. I was happy walking into my appointments, wondering what new stretches or exercises they would introduce me to. Finally, at the end of my physical therapy, I could straighten my arm with no pain. I could reach over my head and behind my back so I could put my jacket on without thinking about it. The therapists used common household areas and materials so anyone could do the exercises at home. I highly recommend Synergy for all of your physical therapy needs. .

He always makes sure to ask how I am feeling and when I'm in pain he directs me to the perfect stretch for the location of the pain. Jacob will let me know if I'm doing everything correctly or where I need to improve. I would highly recommend synergy physical therapy and wellness to anyone and everyone!

Experiencia fantástica: I felt better after my first visit. I had developed severe shoulder cramps & was dependent on muscle relaxers. My PCP referred me to Synergy. My first visit with PTA Jacob had me stretching & doing light exercises. I felt better immediately. The second session with PT Derrick was exploratory to determine my deficits & doing some range of motion work. My third session with PT Dan involved Functional Dry Needling which is modern western accupuncture. The cramp spasmed for a minute, releasing toxins & unwinding itself. I quit requiring muscle relaxers. I realize I need to work out to regain strength so I don’t injure myself again. I highly recommend Synergy.

Experiencia fantástica: I went in with a stretched achilles and twisted ankle from football, had a limp and it hurt to run on. They used the micro and laser on me and it helped a ton, I was actually able to run on it at practice without a limp and very little pain that night.

After having surgery 4 yrs ago, I was left with a right thumb reconstruction that had limited function ability. I had one session at Synergy Physiotherapy and the next day I was finally able to open my hand. I am continuing therapy and seeing amazing results! I am beyond grateful as I was doubting if I would ever get the use of my right hand again!!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I'm on my 3rd total hip and having problems with a limp that has only gotten worse since my first hip about 30 years ago. I did not know how to help myself and knew it was time to do something. Well, Dr. Joe at Synergy did my evaluation and told me it has been a long time in the making, but I think we can help you. It has been about 4 months and with a lot of help from the staff each visit, I have learned what I need to do to improve myself. The therapists spend time and make sure you understand the exercises and do them the right way. They sent me home with "homework" and in just 4 months I have made progress in strength, balance and stamina. I learned how to keep improving from Joe and the staff that cares about your outcome. Experiencia fantástica: I was recommended to Synergy Physical Therapy & Wellness by Colorado Center of Orthopedic Excellence - CCOE (Dr. David Weinstein) after being told by another doctor I needed surgery for tendonitis. As most are aware, tendonitis usually responds to nonsurgical care hence, surgery was not an option for me. After a thorough examination by CCOE which included an x-ray and MRI it was decided physical therapy would be a solid option for me. My initial visit to Synergy was difficult as my pain level was about 10. I attended therapy twice a week for 6 weeks. Admittedly, the exercises were difficult however, I had 100% support from each therapist who provided me the tools needed for wellness. After 6 weeks my pain level went from 10 to 0. That said, this would not have been possible without the care of Synergy Physical Therapy & Wellness – the professionalism, concern, patience, and friendliness of the physical therapist is bar none! I highly recommend Synergy and believe in the program so much that my 90-year-old mother is now a patient.

Experiencia fantástica: I chose Synergy Physical therapy on a recommendation from friends after my rotator cuff surgery and I'm so incredibly glad I did! From the moment I walked in the door, the receptionist Rachel made my wife and I feel welcome! My Physical therapist Dan was top notch and very knowledgeable and friendly! He pushed me to do things that I was afraid to do using reassurance and encouragment while teaching me to train my shoulder and muscles in a different way, so I wouldn't injure it again. He was always encouraging and friendly and I looked forward to making progress each week! After 16 weeks, I have completed my PT and although I'm sad I won't have therapy anymore, I can confidently say that Dan has trained me well and armed me with the knowledge I need to continue to be successful post surgery, while I continue to build muscle and strength at home.

They also offer continued care packages if you still need just a little extra help. My personal favorite is the Dolphin Neurostim treatments, which literally feels like the muscles are melting into relaxation. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate. I highly recommend!

Not only did Synergy come very highly recommended but worked hand in hand with my surgeon’s office which is located in the Springs. Experiencia fantástica: I am really impressed with the Physical Therapy received at Synergy P.T. and wellness. My surgery was difficult for me to deal with and now I find myself dealing with strangers. The therapists were very professional direct and kind. At no time did I feel pushed to hard or allowed to slack. Learning your healthy limits and how hard to push yourself with the goal of strengthening your extremity was made easy. Don’t get me wrong it was challenging but the environment was very positive and again I must say professional. I received the attention required as they visually monitored my movements and safety. At the end of each session any questions were answered. This made me work harder just to show them (and myself), I could complete the plan designed for me in a timely manner.
