My husband, our 4-year-old autistic son, and I have been attending for over a year now, and we have absolutely no complaints. The staff is wonderful and friendly, and they genuinely care about their mission. It's a perfect experience!

Experiencia fantástica: I will need physical and occupational therapy regularly and indefinitely. I have enjoyed WTR and their phenomenal therapists for almost three years. The therapists I have worked with are always compassionate, respectful and knowledgeable. The intake staff and other support staff are always gracious and helpful.

All the people were very friendly and helpful, Kristin, my therapist, was courteous, professional and very knowledgeable concerning the therapy I need to rehab my shoulder. I’m looking forward to working with her!

Experiencia fantástica: Brock was an amazing therapist for me. Even after my first session the very next day I could tell a difference. I have more confidence in walking and General balance with my body. Pool therapy helped me so much and I am thankful to have a knowledgeable and professional person like Brock guiding me along the way. Thank you to him and WTCR team. A suggestion for the new facilities opening across Sam's Club please make a wheelchair accessible ramp into the pool with rails. Not a plastic ramp as an add on, but have it built into the pool so people with mobility issues can get in easier. As well as expand the non slip tape areas around the pool too. It gets very slippery between the pool and the changing rooms. Thank you.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Pope is extremely intelligent and courteous. She truly cares for her patients. I have been to many audiologists in my lifetime, and she is by far the best! I would recommend the audiology department to anyone with hearing impairment.

I am very pleased with her efforts. We are trying something different. I hope it works . She is personable and courteous and kind. You are fortunate to have her on staff.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Pope is fabulous! The entire team at West Texas Rehab is. My mom had a medical emergency while she was in the office, and their team gathered quickly to help and noticed EMS to come and help. Very caring team!

Experiencia negativa: Very frustrating! I have been trying to get pediatric services for a month. I have spent the last 2 weeks calling every day and every day the lady who answers the phone tells me she is unable to look and verify they now have everything they need from the Dr. (after spending 2 weeks getting them what they need as the referring Dr. is from Cook's in Dallas). I am shocked with the lack of urgency but guest I should have known better than to expect quality care from a place here in town.

They go above and beyond to make sure that you are satisfied and the receptionists have helped so much when I had emergency situations with getting me in as soon as possible. I have been going here for several years now and I wouldn’t choose anywhere else.

Management not helpful at all, needing MCR help for prosthetics- needed things done to get them, they drew it out over way too long of a timeframe then finally the “big boss” called and informed entire process had to be started over because all he sees is 26 emails corresponding what was needed. won’t associate w this business ever again.

We got Kristin as his therapist and it has been an absolute JOY to have his PT here & with Kristin. It’s been SO hard going through this journey, WTRC & Kristin has made everything so much easier for us. We are truly thankful for this place and everything they’ve been doing for us and the resources they have helped us get. Kristin has been an amazing therapist, she is so kind and truly makes you feel welcome. I don’t know if you can request a therapist but I would highly recommend her for all the arm and hand therapy.

Experiencia negativa: WTRC has become a very difficult place to get good care from. I'm not sure why anyone would donate to this pace! It is impossible to get help with a rehab process or just general care and professionalism. WTRC used to be our family go to for services, but recently they have become unwilling to help or even give us the courtesy to just say we are not interested in actually helping your family. That would, at minimum, allow the patient to seek help from another facility. Our family has used prosthetics, the hearing department, speech therapy for adults and children, child and adult rehab, so we have extensive experience in the care WTRC provides in multiple areas. Our care has provided well over $100k in fees to WTRC throughout the years. My advice is - read all the reviews for any facility you seek care from before you make a decision to go to that facility. There are other places to get excellent care from!!

Experiencia negativa: I will not say names and boy do I have a list of names but I will say this IF YOU DON’T LIKE HELPING PEOPLE DON’T WORK SOMEWHERE YOU HAVE TO HELP PEOPLE!!!!!!!! Sarcasm, ugly tone, rudeness in general. A phone call should not be answered with “what” or “what do you want”. Treat people how you would like to be treated or at least try in the slightest to be professional. There are some great employees but first impressions through phone calls and front desk just make this place feel uneasy and unprofessional.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is probably the best place there is in Dallas to get help or addiction. All I gotta say is they do have a little trouble with getting people out and then but it’s all good. It’s worth the time and weight and they do got very good counselors and I greatly appreciate it to help they’ve given me.

Experiencia negativa: It's been a while but I haven't forgotten my first visit or the physical therapist or whatever he was. Before my therapy ?, he asked me if students could watch. and I said they could. "HERE IS MY BEEF". "RIGHT FROM THE VERY BEGINNING, HE TOLD THE STUDENTS THAT I WAS THERE BECAUSE I HAD POOR POSTURE" I WAS EXTREMELY EMBARRASSED, HAD A FEELING OF SHAME BUT AT THAT MOMENT I FELT INSULTED AND ANGRY AT HIM FOR WHAT HE SAID. HE DIDN'T KNOW JACK ABOUT ME !!! IT WAS POOR POSTURE. " IT WAS FROM 36 YEARS OF LOOKING DOWN AND CHARTING NURSES NOTES OF PATIENTS IN ICU, CCU, CVU, NEONATAL ICU, ER AND MOBILE INTENSIVE CARE UNITS. DAMN IT

Experiencia negativa: I had an open CPS case, West Texas read me 3.5 but the other place that I got the hair follicle for the same day maybe a hour or two apart read something completely different. When I request those records from CPS and the other entity the records was nowhere to be found according to the Cps Worker AL here in Abilene, Texas. I think West Texas worked with CPS to create false positives as those levels still seem too high, considering Delta eight, was the primary cannabis that was used by myself. 12-15-2024 CPS court Abilene, Texas Kevin Scroggins, that should be something publicly showing the case actually existed. Be mindful when using them with hair follicles as their honesty is questionable.

Experiencia negativa: They canceled me, re-booked me,moved me around, forgot days i was booked when i wasted gas and showed up, and canceled on me 3 times due to their personal conflicts, asked me to come in earlier than scheduled and i made it happen. Yet I Missed 2 days and got removed from the program. Not very professional to be one-sided

Experiencia negativa: During my time here I have dealt with a lack of support from staff. During an altercation with another parent who got angry over a parking spot I had the cops called on me. I’m black, the male parent is white. Mind you his child was with him. The staff did nothing but sit and watch. Photos below . Then after it was finished my schedule for my son got moved and changed. I bring my service animal as needed and the Director made me sign a form that allows them to sue me if my TRAINED service animal were to bite anyone when I’ve been bringing him for over a year. I’m done with this place.

I came here and informed he still can’t talk and I don’t think it’s just the “he is a twin thing” My son is able to speak so much better now! He always gets so thrilled when he sees his therapist come to get him ♥️

They have really helped my friend who lost three of her limbs and after two years of wearing uneven prosthetics, and prosthetic arm that didn’t fit right, they have already got her two new legs that are lighter and fit right, plus now fitting her with a new arm claw that she will be able to put attachments on also. I am so glad that my friend is finally being taken care of the way she should have been taken care when she got out of the hospital over two years ago! These people here deserve the highest recognition in my book with just the smile they have put on my friends face and changing her world for the better every day!! thank you so much!!

Our son also had the opportunity to attend Camp Rehab and he loved it.

West Texas Rehab has top of the line facilities and we have been so incredibly pleased with all the progress our daughter has made in the last 6 months. She still has a long road ahead to complete recovery, but I have no doubt Kelli will get her range of motion and strength to where it needs to be.
