Experiencia negativa: I was there for 1 month everything was good the CNA'S need more help trying to do 2 floors with 1 person all in all was good. Laurel nurse, Rachel coordinator and Lesley wound care we're all very professional and took good care of me. Thanks for the stay

Experiencia fantástica: I recently had the pleasure of touring at Desert Willow a few weeks following my Aunt's hip replacement surgery, and I cannot say enough good things about this place. The facility itself is modern, clean, and well-maintained. The rooms was spacious and well-equipped with everything needed, including a comfortable bed, bathroom, and additional amenities . The common areas are bright and inviting, providing a great place to relax and socialize with other patients. This facility has been recommended by many family and friends as well.

Experiencia fantástica: My grandfather has been at Desert Willow since Monday and our entire family is impressed with the amazing care he is receiving from the staff. We are at ease knowing he is in good hands.

Experiencia positiva: I spent 30 days at Desert Willow rehabbing after my 2 wrist surgeries. The Nurses/CNA's were attentive and took care of my needs. Sometimes the CNA's had to cover 2 halls but got to me as fast as possible. The Therepists were wonderful and worked with me to set me up for success. They have a great activities department. They set up outings to help you feel more human. They also have activities throughout the day. My favorite was Bingo. The food was average, but edible. Overall, I had a very good stay.

Experiencia fantástica: My mom was there for rehab on her knee and everyone treated her as if they were her second family! I appreciate everyone that helped my mom get well with a speedy recovery but at the same time very patient!

Experiencia fantástica: My mom was a patient. She was treated very well! When she had a problem with a staff member- Ann immediately started a review. She was caring and did an amazing job! The problem was completely resolved and my mom felt listened to and safe. Thank you to the entire staff! My mom had great care at your center!

Experiencia fantástica: This building has a bad reputation in the past when it was owned by the Sava Cooperation, but fortunately has been recently purchased by a new company that seems to be making some positive changes to include the name. After reading some of these reviews I feel like people may lack an understanding when it comes to long term care. It involves a significant amount of mental health cares that are not easily fixed and staff are not able to put bars on beds or restrain a persons movement. I really do feel this building has improved immensely.

Experiencia negativa: my mother fell from her bed after recovering surgery they had no bars put up they also are very neglectful I saw an old lady hysterically cry for her family I about cried

Experiencia negativa: Reading these reviews are funny because the good reviews are from family of pervious employees and previous employees the bad reviews are from real experiences and I have to agree more with the bad reviews as I admit I am a previous employee. That is how I know about the fake reviews. I also am guessing the facility got into some trouble hence the name change. I am still getting attorneys coming over to question me about the care that the facility gave years after I left that place, due to various law suits the facility was involved in. So so sad for the patients.

Experiencia negativa: I have previously been a resident at Minnequa and I love the floor staff. Most of the Resident care staff is wonderful. The reason for only giving two stars is the consistency of RCS and you don't always get showers when you are supposed to and the food is not good .

Experiencia fantástica: My aunt was a patient there and we were so happy with her stay. She had an extensive wound and the wound care she received was great. They had numerous activities available. The staff was great too, very caring and attentive.

Experiencia fantástica: I have to say the staff here is great! They are all friendly and very helpful!! These people truly care about the people they take care of! The place is one of the cleanest I have been in, and their food and variety of food choices is one of the best I have seen! Thank you Minnequa for the wonderful experience and the surety you have provided!!! Wouldn’t take a loved one anywhere else!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Minnequa Medicenter is home to people whom I love. When my family walks through the doors we are home too. We have freedom to enjoy visits with the residents by meals, music, and engaging activities. The care staff listens and acts upon our requests and suggestions. When we can’t be there, we are kept informed by phone calls and letters. Our hearts are happy knowing that our loved ones are not just loved by us, but by the Medicenter.

Experiencia negativa: The Alycia in charge of the Dietary aids doesn’t know how to run her staff properly and only cares about herself. It’s would be nice if the company knew how to choose proper leadership! Very unprofessional.

Experiencia negativa: This facility FAILED my Mother and Our family miserably. It became obvious they were irritated with my mother and just wanted her out. My Mom is in mid to late stage dementia. We are waiting on neuro testing. It took this facility 4 months to even request it to her doctor. They allowed my Mom with dementia to remove her POA. They allowed her to sell her motorized scooter for $100 even though I demanded it back. Yesterday they allowed her to check herself out against family advice and NEVER once told us! I never knew where she got transferred to! I had to do my own research all day today making calls to find my mother because when I call her phone and I ask where she is she doesn't even know. IF IT CAN BE AVOIDED NEVER LEAVE FAMILY HERE. This place never once even did a "family planning meeting" to ever get on the weight page. I addressed these serious issues with the entire staff. Each and everyone were totally unprofessional!
