From the front office working with my unorthodox schedule to the PTs answering all my questions and concerns (even some insurance related) I worked mostly with shaughn who’s is the living definition of the bees knees, but I found the entire staff to be professional and engaging.

They are very accommodating when they can be and the place is always clean and the other patients there always polite there as well. I highly recommend this office to anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: I was so skeptical about physical therapy working for me, but within a couple months I noticed a huge improvement in my mobility. Jenna and Justin helped me so much to gain back my strength and get rid of my pain. I thought I would need surgery but was cured through physical therapy instead. I had bad neck, arm, wrist and hand pain but not any more. I learned a lot too and know how to treat myself if it ever comes back. The whole team was very welcoming, supportive, knowledgeable and very friendly. Christina at the front desk is very helpful and takes good care of everyone. I recommend this facility as the number 1 physical therapy spot in Rochester! You won’t regret it!

Experiencia fantástica: Shaughn (at Elmwood-Highland) helped me recover from left leg weakness due to a lumbar herniation and resultant discectomy. Ultimately I was able to return to the soccer field. Shaughn and the rest of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They pushed me to my limits, which was what I needed.

Experiencia fantástica: I can’t speak highly enough of my experience with Lattimore Physical Therapy at Elmwood Highland. I had the opportunity to work at least once with each of the physical therapists and all of my visits were comfortable and welcoming. They genuinely care about your wellbeing and encourage you to progress from week to week. Working with Jena and the team for about 4-5 months, I can confidently say that my injuries have markedly improved and I feel so much stronger. They meet you where you’re at and give you a solid understanding of what exercises you’re doing and why. Thank you all (especially Jena) for working with me through the spring and summer. My quality of movement has improved significantly and I’m back to being active and pain-free.

The atmosphere is very welcoming, and that's because everyone there makes it so, including the receptionists, who are always a pleasure to talk to. I initially went in for my IT band and worked with Dr. Shaughn Regan (who was fantastic). I ended up getting knee surgery a month into my PT sessions and was assigned to Dr. Justin Torres. He was always so patient and encouraging, even when I couldn’t see the progress I had made. He was such a pleasure to work with! One thing I especially liked about Justin was that he wouldn’t just give me exercises to do; he would bring out an anatomical knee model and explain the reason for doing the exercise, what exactly it targeted, and how it helped with my recovery. I’m a visual person, so this really helped me understand what was going on! I also liked that every day was different, and he always started by asking how I was doing that day and how I had been since I last saw him. Depending on my answer, he would adjust the plan for the day, and I really appreciated that because there were some days when my knee was especially sore. I can’t recommend this location (and especially Justin) enough!

I have consistently gone to a chiropractor for five years and for five years have consistently been at the best, sore, every day. Since PT I have gone multiple weeks without pain and it’s only getting better. Shaughn’s understanding of activation paired with Jena’s drive to make me sweat really made me feeling confident and stronger after each session. I spent almost 9 months working with Shaughn to improve my symptoms and get back to an active lifestyle including hiking and yoga. Experiencia fantástica: Lattimore is always my first-go whenever I get injured. They are phenomenal at diagnosing the problem and responding to your unique situation. They are extremely flexible. For instance, I had to get on a plane 10 days after my first appointment for a bad back and was worried I wouldn't be able to handle it. Lattimore upped the amount of appointments to address this and miraculously, I was able to fly comfortably. Don't get me wrong, you have to work but they guide you every step of the way. Their staff are all very approachable and make you feel very comfortable. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Justin Torres was my primary therapist and he was extremely professional and dedicated to getting me back on the mend. Previously I attended Lattimore in Geneseo which was also fantastic. I doubt any of the Lattimore branches are less than extremely helpful. I choose Lattimore every time. You should too. You will not be sorry.

Experiencia fantástica: Fixing an acute knee problem with one visit had to be a minor miracle. My case would be unusual, but still remarkable. With that and two subsequent visits for range-of-motion and strengthening drills, I was well on the way to more permanent recovery. I also made three additional visits for dealing with a more chronic right rotator cuff problem. The important point of all these visits: therapist Shaughn Regan added stretch and strengthening drills one at a time, evaluating each closely for effectiveness (or not). I left with balanced routines and sequences that work for me specifically. I have great confidence that these drills will continue to strengthen and maintain my 70+ year old knee and shoulder joints into the future. This is an optimistic thing, and reflects well on the effectiveness of this clinic.

Experiencia fantástica: I worked with Shaughn for a few weeks to resolve a nagging hip pain. During my initial consult, I observed that Shaughn was extremely methodical in his assessment. At every visit, Shaughn would always listen carefully. He knew exactly the right movements to improve my hip function. After I finished PT, I was able to return back 100% to lifting and with a more sound knowledge base thanks to Shaughn. Shaughn strikes the right balance between listening to his patients, challenging them, and applying the science to the clinical setting. If I ever need to go back to PT, I would not hesitate to reach out to Shaughn. He’s friendly and knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.

Experiencia fantástica: Words can’t adequately explain how beneficial Lattimore was for me. I worked primarily with four PTs (Jena, Justin, Shaughn, Rob). Each has their strengths, but the consistency between them makes it irrelevant. If you choose Lattimore on Elmwood (If its within’ 30 minute drive, I strongly recommend it), you’ll be warmly welcomed, given short term and long term goals, and cared for by a team of PTs. As a cherry on top, all four are extremely likable and include their patients in office polls like, best band, best food, who will win this, etc. They made each of my visits (2x week for 7 months) memorable with how they coached me to challenge myself. I could go on and on, but just know - I wrote a thank you card (my first Ive ever written to anyone, and I had a wedding where people gave me gifts). I have gone for PT at a number of different facilities and felt slightly discouraged and unmotivated. This was my first time with Lattimore. Here, I immediately felt like I was in good hands. It was clear that he really cared and wanted to help. I have been living in pain for far too long and simply accepted that this was how it was going to be. Shaughn impressed me with his experience, knowledge and effortless way of communicating. After our session he introduced me to the rest of the staff and they seemed equally kind and capable. Getting better no longer feels like an possible task.

I was going 3x a week and really looked forward to it as a pleasant activity. They always start u off with a nice relaxing heating pad on ur injured area, then move onto your excercises. After u get to know what u need to do, u work independently but I can always grab the pt aid or the pt's attention if u need help. I am Very active. At the time I was working as a welder 40hrs a week and training as an acrobat and aerialist. My job as a welder was causing weakness and pain in my arms and grip and I was not able to train like I wanted to for aerial. Over the course of 6 months the folks at lattimore physical therapy gave me a helpful hand to get to a much better place. We tapered down my sessions as i started to improve. Once my insurance cut off the appointments I found myself well equipped to be successful at maintaining my health independently.

After I started going there in February, Shane, Kelly and Tod were the nicest and most supportive physical therapists I could ever ask for. The more effort you put in, the more information they give you. All of them have a deep understanding of their craft and always encourage you to get better. I was so much stronger in my thighs and knees that when I was playing basketball, I was afraid I rolled my left ankle, but my shin was so strong that my ankle didn't roll at all. These guys are the real deal !

Accessing PT in the middle of the pandemic, following a serious injury, was made very simple by Shane's prompt response to my request for an appointment. Shane worked well with me to get me walking, driving and back to all of my regular activities! He was great with problem solving issues and recognizing things that I needed to work on. The staff took care of issues related to referrals as well as insurance company communication. The experience at this office is laid back, comfortable, friendly and with personalized attention to each person's needs. I observed the staff working with a wide range of patients (age, race, gender, etc) and each was treated with respect and compassion. Highly recommended!!

When I came I was a little apprehensive as to whether they could actually help me because of my issue. You see I had a severe case of Vertigo to the point of passing out or losing my balance. Well not only have they helped in that area but they have also made some great recommendations that has helped other areas of my body mentally and physically. My therapist Lindsay is the best, but I can't leave out the team because the comradere, the unity, the togetherness and the friendly atmosphere helps to make physical therapy tolerable and enjoyable. Who would have thought that you could actually enjoy therapy. Usually when you come to therapy it is for an injury that has altered your lifestyle. Experiencia fantástica: I started physical therapy at Elmwood Highland with a shoulder condition that I had been dealing for a year and a half after having a bicycle accident. Shane was very informative and encouraging that with the dedication to the program I would regain my mobility and alleviate my pain. Absolutely this was a great program. The professional care from Shane, Lindsay and Todd, plus their kind words of encouragement were amazing. After just 3 1/2 weeks I felt so much better than I had felt since the accident and now I have exercises that they taught me that I can use for the rest of my life. Additionally, I had a nagging cough (my primary car doctor had thought I had COPD), but the exercises have me breathing better, and the cough is gone. So my experience here exceeded expectations. Lindsay and Shane were so friendly and personable every time I was there, and I was always greeted by a smile and a warm welcome by Kit when I checked in. I can’t give enough positive feedback about my time spent with this remarkable group of physical therapists. They are very determined to help you get healthy and active again. While it is rewarding to be officially done, I must say it is it is a bitter sweet feeling because I am going to truly miss routinely spending time with this group.

Finally, the most important part of my experience were working with the professionals handling my case from Shane and Lindsay to Kit. They are a great team. You are not gonna be disappointed, that is guaranteed !!!

I’ve heard my fair share of stories about clinics who don’t listen to patients’ concerns, don’t provide their patients hands-on manual therapy, don’t implement evidence-based practice, don’t build relationships with their patients, and Lattimore PT Elmwood is NOT one of those clinics. While working with Shane, Lindsay, Kit, and Nora for 9 weeks, I heard countless success stories from patients, even with visit to visit improvements, and have seen first-hand the improvement that each patient demonstrates while receiving physical therapy at Lattimore. So many patients here rave and have told me about how great the staff at Lattimore PT Elmwood is at their jobs. Lindsay and Shane get to know their patients and want to make sure each one of them improves with their goals. They are always interested in learning new up-to-date evidence-based treatment options and exercises for their patients, and their love for physical therapy shows when they are treating their patients. Shane and Lindsay want to make physical therapy an enjoyable process for patients with all sorts of different needs and injuries. Beginning with Kit at the front desk, and Shane and Lindsay treating patients, the staff at Lattimore is wonderful and are people you can always rely on. Today after going to P T twice a week and working at home my leg and knee pain in 90% better. I have regained lots strength and mobility in such a short time. Experiencia fantástica: The whole Elmwood latimore team is amazing! It’s start right off with the secretary Kit who is amazing to work with. She is great about working with my crazy work schedule and is awesome about reminding me when I forget about my appointment and calling me to set up another one if I forget. Shane and Lindsay make up the rest of the team and they are equally as amazing. I came in with a shoulder injury, barely able to move it and I’m leaving stronger than ever. They are great about fixing the problem as well as giving tips to help you in everyday life to fix other problems you may not even realize are there. They were understanding of my problem and were direct and informative in instructing me in my exercises. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly and very professional.
