Experiencia negativa: :: FAMILIES BEWARE :: Couldnt give them less than one star! Seeing how the place changed hands 3 times already, you would think Dept of health would've seen a pattern of disregard and mismanagement. The staff that I saw, some of them were there to take care of the patients, and you could tell. The one nurse I met was so awesome. She doesn't deserve wasting her skills and smiles at the rehab of death. Some of them were there just for a paycheck. I did not enjoy seeing a boy cleaning the floors with their boxer brief underwear showing past his behind. Residents had to constantly request for fans for their overheated rooms and clocks. Where are the aides and why arent they doing their job. Gives a bad name to CHHA everywhere. One resident should have had an aide with them in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. They had a broken arm and had to stabilize with a cane in the other hand. They were not even there for 4 days yet and the day she was found, yes, FOUND, she had pt, ot scheduled for an initial exercise visit. So where was their aide?! Oh thats right the gaggle of aides were chit chatting around nurses station!!! I know many that would have been terminated if they were not doing their job. Especially since this resident passed away due to that being one of the factors!!!!!!! The medical field has hit the crapper since COVID, but this place has always been the where the hha, cna. Pca, nursing rejects go to get their pay. Now instead of being able to come up to this place for Easter, to visit, or visit her at home when she should've been discharged, they are going on with their life with out their loved one. When will the DOH finally put this place down PEMANENTLY!?!?!?!?!

Experiencia negativa: The most disgusting place I’ve walked into. My family member looked like a homeless person while staying here for rehab. He never got a shower, didn’t brush his teeth, call light in drawer unreachable for him. They stole his crocs, and clothes. Staff had no ID, no uniform smelled like weed. The food was disgusting, he lost 30lbs in 3 weeks.Place smelled horrible.staff was rude, verbally abusive, rough while changing him and unprofessional. They have a Greek nurse with the most horrible attitude to residents and visitors. We had to call 911 to get him removed from there.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give zero stars I would. Unfortunately, one is the lowest I can give. My best friend’s family member was just taken to the emergency room after being roughed up by the staff of this so-called nursing home. This is one of the worst places in the city and needs either new staffing Retraining or to be shut down completely. This place is unacceptable and please do not put your family members in this facility if you truly care for them.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible. All they do is change their name. This is at least the 3rd name change. As Westgate Nursing Home they drugged my dad with Parkinson’s with a drug never to be given to those with Parkinson’s, didn’t provide therapy, and as he was so out of it on the drug he couldn’t feed himself. Staff didn’t bother. Lost 17 pounds in 17 days. No glasses and one shoe when removed. They didn’t change my mom’s catheter in 11 days. She went septic and died! Health Department agreed violations but just slapped them with fines and made money off the situations. Avoid!

Experiencia negativa: Don’t send your loved one here .. my mom was sleeping on a broken mattress.. she was here for rehab .. filthy dirty .. drugs on the premises you can smell pot all over the place.. nurse’s terrible..a party for the aids I Might add a patient had to use the ladies room she was in a wheel chair.. waving her hands up to me .. I told the aids take her to the ladies room.., they were to busy on the cell phones.. all these places need to be shut down!!

Experiencia negativa: My grandmother was at Rochester Center for rehab. The place was awful to say the least. The nurses are so understaffed. The “techs” are awful, most of them rude and constantly on their phones. I saw one walking around with a bathrobe on!! VERY TRASHY. My grandmother would ring the nurse button and wait for over a hour to be helped. The sheets were disgusting and barely changed. They said they were “low” on them and certain other things. The room was rarely cleaned, garbage overflowing, nothing sanitized. The place is very unprofessional, they never answer the phone or update family on anything that is going on with your loved one. You literally have to yell and demand answers. The workers do not care about their patients. It is an awful, just terrible place. My advice: do not bring your loved one here.

Experiencia negativa: My mother was verbally abused and neglected during her very short stay here. Sadly she passed away after leaving the facility. Do not send your loved ones here or anyone at all!

Experiencia negativa: Be afraid for your loved ones if you chose this place. My mother was there for rehab. They put her in a room with someone they knew had Covid . Of course my mother got it. They lost 3 tops of hers even though we put signs up that we would do the laundry. They placed her hearing aids in water, and then lost one .The director never answers any of my phone calls about paying for a new hearing aid. Also aids make fun of other patients in front of other residents. CRAZY PLACE

Experiencia negativa: Giving this place one start is generous. The treatment my 85 year old grandfather has endured is disgusting following a recent amputation. He has fallen 3 times under their care in less than 3 weeks. After visiting yesterday, I walked into him lying on dirty, blood covered sheets with tape covering the holes. His dressings are not being changed daily, we’ll come to visit with blood soaking through the dressings. He now has another wound that was not there when he arrived. This list goes on. This facility is negligent and unsafe. Don’t send your loved ones here

Experiencia negativa: This place is dangerous and should not be open. My grandfather has fallen three times while in their care. He is forced to sit up in a wheelchair all night at the nurses station because according to staff he is a fall risk and they are understaffed. This is not a solution. He is unable to sleep which will not assist with his healing. It is also contributing to his pressure sores. It’s just completely inhumane. We have reached out to social work endless times without any response to try and facilitate his discharge and never get a response. We would like to take our grandfather home where he will have round the clock care and have his dignity back which the facility has taken from him. However, Gabe told our family if my grandfather leaves before they say so that we will be billed for the entire stay. The bedding has holes in it being held together by tape. His sheets have feces and blood on them without being changed.  Blood on chairs and shared bathroom surfaces. Trash overflowing. My grandfather gets served water in a 3oz medicine cup 3x a day. He should be getting at least 60 oz. The other day when my grandma tried to get water for my grandfather who hadn’t had any all day, she was told if my grandfather needed water, my grandmother could go get it for him from the vending machine. My grandfather can use a handheld urinal independently when within reach. We made sure before visiting hours ended that he had one within reach, when we came the next day, it was gone. We asked for a urinal back in his room and was told there were no more urinals on the entire floor. The center is so understaffed when he rings his bell for help he has to wait close to an hour or longer before help. Staff is literally having to come from other floors to help people to the restroom. I don’t understand how this center can be so understaffed and still admitting patients. Then they’ll use understaffing as an excuse to treat people with such indignity. This center is a complete danger to my grandfather. My family is in complete distress about this situation. This is how they treat someone who has family at the bedside whenever allowed. Imagine how they treat residents who don’t have family there with them. Please don’t let your loved ones come here.

Experiencia negativa: Neglect, Mismanagement, and Danger – This Place Should Be Shut Down Immediately This nursing home is an absolute disgrace and a danger to anyone unfortunate enough to be placed in its care. My wife's grandfather has been subjected to appalling neglect that no human being should ever endure. Repeated Falls: My wife's grandfather has fallen twice due to the complete absence of proper supervision. Call Bell Ignored: Despite ringing the call bell for assistance, nobody shows up. It is beyond unacceptable for a vulnerable patient to be left waiting for help. Severe Dehydration: My wife's grandfather is supposed to receive at least 60 ounces of water a day per his physical therapist, yet the staff only provides water in medicine cups—three times a day. When we ask for more water, they have the audacity to tell my wife's 82-year-old grandmother to purchase a water bottle from the vending machine. This is nothing short of cruel. Wound Care Neglect: His wound dressings (from the amputation) are not changed daily. We’ve arrived several times to find his wounds bleeding through bandages. It’s impossible to know when they were last changed, if at all. As a result of this neglect, he has developed cellulitis on his toe—a new wound that he did NOT have when he entered this facility. Dirty Facility: The conditions here are disgusting. Garbage bins are overflowing, and used adult diapers are tossed aside when there’s no room. We’ve taken photos as proof of this filthy environment. Unanswered Inquiries: Phone calls and emails to administration are ignored for days. Even after he fell, no one could give us clear answers regarding his care plan or discharge plan. Despite numerous attempts, we have not received any communication from Sadie, the social worker. Predatory Practices: My wife's grandmother, who spends 12 hours a day at his bedside, has been asked to sign documents without explanation. She struggles to see the iPad screen and has requested copies of what she signed but never received them. This is predatory behavior aimed at taking advantage of vulnerable, elderly family members. To add insult to injury, we were informed that if we take him home against medical orders, insurance would not cover any of the days he's already spent here, costing us $300 a day. This information came from Gabe, who has been equally dismissive and unhelpful throughout this nightmare. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! This place is dangerous and should be investigated IMMEDIATELY. The staff is indifferent, the care is negligent, and the conditions are dangerous. This facility must be held accountable for the mistreatment of its residents. No one should have to endure this level of neglect and inhumanity. If you value the health and safety of your loved ones, FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Experiencia negativa: I do not know how this facility has not been shut down by the state. The neglect my grandfather has faced here is unacceptable. Staff told him he couldn’t go to the bathroom after he expressed the need telling him “you already went” and then ignoring his call bell. This is not only disrespectful but dangerous. He has fallen twice trying to get to a bathroom after told he couldn’t go. He is now modified independent with transfers with the help of family, yet the facility refuses to let him come home, seemingly to maximize insurance payouts by claiming he isn’t safe for discharge. When challenged as to why he cannot be discharged if he has met his goals the facility uses intimidation tactics on my 80 y.o grandmother by telling her she will be stuck with a bill if we try and bring my grandfather home before they sign off. They bring papers for my grandmother to sign without any explanation and denying her copies of them. They’ve tried to get her to apply for additional insurance plans as well despite them having both a primary and secondary insurance plan already that is more than adequate coverage for them. When he first arrived from the facility, the staff knew nothing about his medications. When family asked about his insulin the nurses had not even known he was a diabetic. He only had one kidney and the staff doesn’t let him have water because that would be inconvenient to fill up or god forbid have to help someone to the bedside commode more than once a night. This situation is distressing; my grandfather has fallen twice while in their care, and he has developed bed sores and infections as a result of their lack of care. They do not change his dressing as ordered by his doctor and they took his stitches out despite a surgeons order to leave them in place. It’s clear that his safety and well-being are not priorities here. I urge anyone considering this facility for their loved ones to think twice. The care provided is far below what is needed, and my grandfather’s health has suffered because of it.

Experiencia negativa: I am deeply upset about the mistreatment of my 84 year old grandfather who is currently a resident at Rochester Center Rehab. He has experienced significant mistreatment, particularly related to supervision and communication from the staff here. He is a recent amputee (leg) and was discharged directly to this facility from the hospital. Since coming here less than 3 weeks ago... 1) he has fallen twice due to lack of supervision. 2) He rings the call bell for assistance and nobody shows up, it is appalling. 3) According to PT, he is supposed to be getting at least 60 ounces of water a day, they give him 3 servings of water a day in a MEDICINE CUP. When we ask for him to get more water, the staff has the audacity to tell my 82 year old grandmother who spends 12 hours a day at his bedside that she should purchase a water bottle from the vending machine. It's sick. 4) Again, he is a recent amputee and his wound dressings are not changed daily. The last few times we have shown up in the morning for visiting hours, his wounds are bleeding through his bandages. Who knows when they were changed last. 5) He has developed a new wound since being admitted here and now has cellulitis on his toe. He did not come here with this wound. 6) When we inquire about him coming home because we know we can care for him better than they can at this facility, we are told it would be removing him against medical orders and therefore insurance would not cover any of the days he has already spent here. Costing $300 a day. This information came from Gabe. 7) the facility is dirty. Attached is a picture showing the garbage overflowing, this is how they dispose of the adult diapers when the garbage is full. 8) Our phone calls and emails to administration go unanswered for DAYS at a time, we only get a phone call after he has fallen and still then there is nobody who can seem to answer questions about his specific care plan or discharge plan. We have tried to contact Sadie, the Social Worker, several times to no avail. I don't care if the facility is understaffed, everyone is right now, it does not excuse you from doing your job and treating patients with the tiniest shred of human decency. 9) My 82 year old grandmother is being asked to sign documents on behalf of my grandfather, but nobody can take a minute to explain to her what she is signing, which I feel is taking advantage of an elderly person with difficulty seeing/reading on an iPad screen at a vulnerable time. My grandmother asked staff member, Gabe, for a copy of what she just signed and has still not gotten a copy of anything. Again, sickening and predatorial behavior from healthcare "professionals". As family members, we deserve transparency and the assurance that our loved ones are being treated with the respect and care they deserve. As healthcare "professionals" you owe it to your patients to treat them with dignity and care. Do better. Also, return phone calls.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give lower than a one star review for this place I would! My friend has been in this facility for almost a month now and the neglect is unbelievable! She is dehydrated from having diarrhea and not enough water, they take hours to get to her when she needs any kind of help, food is always cold, and the staff is very rude!!

Experiencia positiva: My mom was there for about 6 weeks. She was moved 2 times, from a private room because she came from the hospital where she had contacted Covid. The second room was shared with someone with mental issues and had her TV on all day all night, with no limits on volume. The staff were overall good and generally treated mom well, but the shared room was crowded and twice some kind of gel was spilled or poured on a wheelchair and the floor, which could have caused a fall. The bathroom was too cramped for anyone to assist mom with any ease. The rooms were painted institutional gray and the bed she had for most of her stay was terrible. Mom was so anxious to get out of there, she walked up and down the 3 or 4 steps at her last 2 or 3 physical therapy sessions, they changed her room and then they fairly promptly sent her home. We were informed that because a letter that was supposed to have been sent out was not, she would not be billed the $1700 her insurance didn't cover. Then the $1700 bill came a few days later. The staff were very nice and if you needed to ask for anything, they were courteous, helpful and accommodating. It is not a place you'd want yourself or a beloved family member to be placed.

Experiencia negativa: Wish i could give a negative star on this place. My Mom has been there for over 6 years. There has been ups and downs. This last time was the worst. SHe was sent to a hospital due to chest pains. II was told one hospital. when i got there she was not there. So had to call around. After an hour found her on the other side of the city. This is not the 1st time that has happened. The hospital did not get her medical records so they had to begin treatment. They ended up giving her a med that she was allergic to. but where able to stop the reaction. This only happen as Rochester center did not send in the proper documents to the correct hospital. They said they gave to her to give to the hospital. She has a TBI. So these docs are missing as they where not on her person or in her belongings. This ends up becoming a HIpaa Violation. Someone out there has my moms personal info. been trying for over a week to contact the nursing home and they do not call back. Only giving out this info so you can get an idea of how bad this place is. There are some really great workers there. but as a whole this place needs to be shut down.

Experiencia negativa: My grandmother was in this rehab facility for about 2 weeks and her stay was horrible. She was served food on dirty dishes and she was asked to sign "discharge papers" without being allowed to read them first. When she told them she wanted my mother to read them over, they never brought the papers back. They then were trying to keep here there past the time her insurance would pay for her stay, which obviously would result in a bill My mother arranged transportation to pick up my grandmother even though she was not discharged yet. As she was leaving, a social worker yelled at my mother saying my grandmother cannot take the wheel chair she was in. Someone STOLE MY GRANDMOTHERS WHEEL CHAIR THAT SHE CAME IN THE FACILITY WITH, and put her chair pillow into one of theirs. Thankfully, the transportation driver had a chair in his van so she could get home. Now, my grandmother is without a wheel chair because this facility STOLE HER CHAIR AND WILL NOT GIVE IT BACK. 0 stars, would not recommend, DO NOT send your family to this trash bin of a facility. We will be getting the police involved since these thieves won't give us back her wheel chair. If they call themselves "losing" a wheel chair imagine how incompetent they are when it comes to patient care. EDIT/UPDATE: These people sent my grandmother a bill for her stay that they tried to force, but still haven't given her the wheel chair they stole from her

Experiencia negativa: The neglect was real. Trying to get information or help from staff was frustrating and time consuming. My father suffered couple of falls out of bed and severe dehydration during the short time he was there. When I tried to get them to send him to the hospital, they gave me the runaround. Finally, when he did get to the hospital, the PA who did his intake was appalled at his condition. Business office staff is not very knowledgeable about Medicare or other insurances.

Experiencia negativa: My father has been in this facility since January of this year. He has fallen on multiple occasions. His room smelled terrible. I've made complaints annd little to nothing has been done. He has items that no one can locate. Contacting social work has been impossible, let alone getting in contact with anyone. I'm in the process of looking for another facility for him to reside. I've had enough of this place and I don't feel like they are staffed enough to meet the needs of a patient with vascular dimensia. Mind you, a staff member has argued with my father on one occasion and on another occasio during a father's day visit, they left him sitting in his wheel chair for 2 hours because a staff member did not want to place him back in bed so she clocked out and left. Words of the staff the witnessed her action. Thouroughly done with this plce. I WILL NOT RECCOMMEND THIS FACILITY TO ANYONE!!!

Experiencia negativa: If you truly love your family member, DO NOT bring them to this place. I can assure that they do not have enough staff to care for all the patients and that leave a lot to say when it comes to giving quality of life to someone who is waiting for their recovery or farewell to this word ( if applicable) with dignity. One sample of this is that regardless of social class or culture I saw a lot of animosity and attitude toward the elderly.

Experiencia fantástica: The reason you go to rehab is for therapy and the therapy was excellent. Everything else really doesn't matter, because those are things that your not there for. But everything else was good also. Nursing staff excellent. This is my third time here in this facility. If I had to go back to therapy, I would come back for a fourth time.

Experiencia negativa: Well I thought the situation was fixed now I feel retaliated against the Rochester Center really doesn't care about good people they will play games with you and try to make you make your self look bad when it's them thats The problem as I noted before I told them I would put my two weeks in if the problem wasn't changing so I thought I saw some changes I was wrong now I'm the bad guy this place should be shut down.

Experiencia negativa: My mother was sent here for physical rehabilitation after a foot injury. She was lucky if she had 2 hours of rehab in the 2.5 weeks she was there. She ended up being sent back to the hospital and no one even bothered to call us from there to let us know! She was neglected and treated horrible by some of the staff.. Her clothes and some personal items disappeared. I have never seen her so distraught and depressed as she was when she was here. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I feel sorry for anyone who is a patient here.

Experiencia positiva: My husband was sent to Rochester Center after a horrible experience at another rehab, and we firmly believe that if he had gone to Rochester Center first he would be home by now. The staff is very caring and the atmosphere is friendly - everyone seems to like each other and like working together, which translates to very good patient care. The rehab team and facility is EXCELLENT. I truly enjoyed - as much as you can when visiting any medical facility - interacting with the staff. The support I got as a family member was great, and when a problem did arise it was addressed and taken care of promptly. No place is perfect - the rooms need a good refresh - but they are cleaned every day and we never saw that at any other facility. It's always important to advocate for your loved one no matter where they are, but Rochester Center was very good to work with.

Experiencia negativa: I advise everyone think twice! before choosing this nursing home for your loved one, because for the loss of my grandfather. It is truly heart-wrenching to hear about the pain and suffering he endured during his time at the nursing home located at 525 beahan road, Rochester, NY 14624 “Rochester Center” In December 2022, my beloved grandfather, who was in the beginning stages of dementia, suffered a devastating fall that resulted in a fractured hip. The doctors recommended surgery, a hip replacement, to alleviate his pain and aid in his recovery. Little did we know that this procedure would have such detrimental consequences. My grandfather was admitted to a nursing home chosen by Strong Memorial Hospital, where the surgery took place. However, instead of receiving the care and support he desperately needed, his condition deteriorated rapidly. The surgery seemed to exacerbate his memory problems, transforming them into full-blown Alzheimer's disease. It was as if a part of him had been lost forever. This nursing home, which I would give a zero out of five stars if I could, proved to be a corrupt and neglectful facility. We were left with no choice but to report their actions to the department of health. It was heartbreaking to see how they treated my grandfather, who had become completely dependent on others for his basic needs. He was reduced to a vegetative state, unable to support himself or perform even the simplest tasks of daily living. He required assistance with bathing, changing his diapers, and taking his medication. However, the staff at this so-called "best" nursing home showed a complete lack of care and compassion. They allowed him to soil himself and did not bother to provide the necessary hygiene care he deserved. It was a disgrace. What angered me the most was the negligence and callousness displayed by the staff. They seemed careless and rude, showing no regard for the well-being of their residents. I wouldn't wish this place upon my worst enemy, let alone a family member. It is beyond comprehension that a nursing home, entrusted with the care of vulnerable individuals, could treat them with such indifference. Sadly, my grandfather's physical and mental health continued to decline. He became malnourished due to their neglect, and the Alzheimer's disease advanced rapidly. His passing on February 4, 2023, at Unity Hospital was a devastating blow to our family. Not a day goes by where I don't think about the suffering he endured and how this facility tortured him. One particular incident that still haunts me is the disappearance of his slippers and the neglect to my grandfather so My mother had lovingly purchased them for him, hoping to bring him some comfort during his stay. However, the staff carelessly misplaced them, as if they were of no importance. This act of disrespect and disregard only added to our pain and frustration. It felt as though they were stealing from their own patients, and I couldn't help but wonder if they were tampering with their medication as well. The memories of this place and the way they treated my grandfather will forever be etched in my mind. It serves as a painful reminder that we must be vigilant and cautious when choosing a nursing home for our loved ones. No family should have to endure such heartbreak and mistreatment. May my grandfather Andrew Phillip DeFiore JR rest in peace, and may his memory inspire change and empathy within the healthcare system.

Experiencia positiva: I spent a year there . I had to learn to walk again.the pt staff are the best. The nursing staff and the aids were a big help in my recovery. Marilyn and Maria are the best I'm going to miss them the most. Cory and the social working staff, Stephanie and Casy were a great help with finding a new place to live.

Experiencia fantástica: If heaven had a rehabiliation facility, it would be Rochester Center. Most of the staff are excellent. The director is superb, he introduced himself right away, and always makes the residents feel welcome and at home. I just want to say that the nursing staff cares about he patients. Therapy is exceptional Thank you!

Experiencia fantástica: It's a beautiful rehab place. You got the most beautiful people helping you through the program. The best nurses and the therapy people. All the aides are food, have no problem with them. I have a lot of respect for them and they give it back. I've seen a lot of good people come and go for rehab, and go back home. I've been here in rehab for almost 2 years, and never had a problem. If I had to do it all over again, I'd come back here. Tomorrow, in going home. Thank you Lord and Rochester rehab

Experiencia negativa: This place is horrible I wouldn't leave them responsible to take of a pet fish. There is no accountability in this facility and the staff is very rude to patients. Neglect at its finest.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give negative stars I would.. this place nearly killed my family member with their negligence. Not cleaning properly caused UTI. Not feeding AT ALL FOR DAYS caused my member to go into full malnutrition and dehydration and could not walk, talk, move or anything. Scariest sight I have ever seen. No one knew anything, they don’t answer any phones I called for days in a row over 15 times a day and tried every floor and no answer. I was told no one answers the phone because no one sits at the desk.. but every visit someone is posted at the desk with their feet up and talking on their cell phones and flirting in the halls with each other. Play fighting with coworkers. While our family members are in there rotting away.. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.. if you have family in here VISIT every day. Take notes, but your best bet is get them OUT! Trust me… this place is not safe.. thank goodness we found my family member when we did .. or they would be gone. DO NOT place your family here. Please.

Experiencia positiva: This is my first time ever in a rehab facility. I don’t really have experience to compare, but I do feel that there are some really good people here and I am grateful for the PT and OT department and all of the people that helped me get well.

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience. Excellent staff here. The medical was great. But what an excellent staff here. The women that worked with me, everything. The aides were great. When I first got here, I was not walking. Today, I walked into the cab to go home. I can't say enough about PT staff. So patient, and they don't let you slack.

Experiencia negativa: A family friend went to this nursing home, and they kept him in the rehab facility for 2 months beyond the initial 5-day stay. They then continued to keep him there for an additional 3 months. They lied to the insurance company, claiming that he needed to remain there longer, but we had to provide evidence to justify his discharge. They avoided returning calls and ignored numerous messages. Additionally, they mishandled his social security checks, taking over $5,000. When he expressed his desire to leave, they attempted to prevent him from doing so and even confiscated his prosthetic leg, storing it away. They insisted he needed a hoyer lift because he couldn't stand, yet failed to provide him with the necessary therapy. As a result, he developed bedsores due to neglect. To make matters worse, each floor of the facility had very few caregivers, with only one caregiver assigned to each floor.

Experiencia negativa: this place was horrible to my aunt. she never got good service, she was hooked up to a feeding tube 24hrs daily, the nurses gave her attitude, the place stunk of poop and weed. my aunt was laying on a mattress that had no sheets. she had no blankets she was cold. the workers were on their phones in the hallways. shes in rehab, she needs to walk but the nurses wont let her. her bed pan is only emptied 2 times a day. that place is just so awful to everyone.

Experiencia positiva: Place is nice and clean . The people are ok. The nurses are good. Therapy is good. Cory, the Administrator is good. He does his job well. Over all, the stay was good. The food needs some work, aside from that no problems and I would recommend it.

Every single person on staff, from the receptionists, to the doctors and nurses were absolutely superb. The PT workers were kind and patient every step of the way. My family member was a patient for seven months, and I am so grateful and thankful that he was there and for the care he got.

When something happens, I push my button and they come fast.my experience with therapy is amazing! I've been through a bunch of other rehab facilities, and this is by far the best. I am way ahead of schedule because of Rochester Center. I feel safe and well cared for here.

Experiencia positiva: It was good overall. Lakera, Trinity, bianca, jay are all my favorite aides. My favorite nurse is Ashley and Erica! The rehab team is absolutely amazing. I was flat out on the bed, and told by doctor's that I would never walk again. Thanks to the rehab team at Rochester Center- I am walking again. The food can use some improvement, but overall my stay was good. I am a Rochester Center success!

The aides were in a hurry to get me off the toilet( I had been waiting over half hour from them to return!!!this was usual) The pulled and twisted me off toilet to get me in wheelchair ( didn’t know how to transfer from wheelchair to toilet ) they pulled and twisted on my recent spinal fusion. I heard a snap and passed out. Woke up in bed I. Excruciating pain. They had t told nurse or gave me call button. Eventually the nurse found me sobbing hours later. Finally called the ambulance 12 hours later. Was rushed back to hospital. Xrays snd cat scan showed no fractures but was diagnosed with a tear in gluteus Maximus. So painful and has hindered my rehab. I would not recommend this place to anyone. This was not the only issue…,

Experiencia positiva: Its been very productive, and relatively preasant. They communicate with me and my familiy. I enjoy watching the staff. My Favorite nurse is aza, but they are all great. A whole bunch of sweet people here. Therapy was very productive. I started out barely able to move, and now i can walk. I would definitely recommend Rochester Center. The building is clean, and the food is fair.

My Therapist is Hanna and mh favorite nurse is Erica. The food here was very good. Sometimes not so great, but overall it was good. I came to this building after a car accident, and I was hurt really bad. But Rochester Center helped me get back on my feet without surgery. I would recommend this building for rehab.

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!! If they fall down they will be left on the floor for hours and when notified they will refuse medical treatment resulting in death... Oh and the one responsible for not taking medical action walked out on the job 2 days before my parent starved & suffered to death. (it had been going on for 2 weeks) Then they didn't call law enforcement as protocol when he died and then shipped my Father off to a nonrefridgerated basement in a funeral home until his body was so poorly decomposed that the cremation had to be expedited with no autopsy... VIDEOS DON'T LIE AND NOR DO MEDICAL RECORDS... I HOPE MY FATHER HAUNTS ALL OF THOSE WHO MISTREATED HIM, F-U ALL AND I HOPE THE STARE ATTORNEYS OFFICE SHUTS YOU DOWN FOR THE CONTINUED MISTREATMENT OF ALL THE PATIENTS. THOSE PATIENTS THAT ARE WRITING A REVIEW HAVE TO BE FORCED TO DO SO, Employees beating residents and that public knowledge back in 2018, how many others since??? Experiencia negativa: DO NOT ALLOW YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS TO GET SENT HERE: Left my grandmother in dirty diapers for multiple hours frequently. This gave her a UTI which they never treated. This eventually led to complications with her. On her last day there one of the employees came to work with covid and infected her. Saw some big roach or something running around her room. The "food" they serve is slop unfit for consumption. My grandma would press the button for assistance and they would just ignore her, sometimes they'd come in and turn off the button and continue to do nothing. Meanwhile all the staff are just sitting around on their phones or talking while multiple patients alarms are beeping. Billing was extremely rude to my grandpa when he brought this stuff up: "everyone gets covid " they told him. There are so many more issues too. All of this yet they charge an obscene amount. The facility is disgusting and dirty. They have problems with some bug that infects people's feet. All of the short 5 star reviews are suspicious. I'm guessing they're posting fake reviews here. The short 5 star reviews are similar and posted from accounts that have not posted reviews for anything else, very suspicious.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible place to leave your loved one they will miss treat them. Also they never answer the phone and lie about there not getting any cause. I would have to come in a clean my father because the refused to bathe him. He had caked on dirt on his feet so bad you couldn't even see his feet anymore and the was hiding it by covering his feet and keeping socks on they never changed. 0 stars is what this place deserves and you should never come here this place has been doing this for years and you can't see it because they keep changing the name.

Experiencia positiva: AWESOME THERAPY STAFF!! housekeeping can use some work, like cleaning the wheelchairs and the food trucks. Food is better than i thought it would be, but more of a variety would be nice. Administration as a whole is cooperative and attentive. Activities was quite good. i didn't attend many of them, but the ones i did were very nice. Resident council and library was very nice. the staff there are very pleasant and work hard. my favorite CNA is Champange and Ondray. Gerri, Shayna and Tiffany are my favorite nurses. overall, i would recommend if you need physical therapy but not for long term care.

I've had my ups and downs, but my recovery came along fast and good and now I'm walking. The rehab staff are amazing and I love everybody here. Experiencia fantástica: I wanted to say that I had a very good therapy and treatment from Occupational therapy. They provided all the needed equipment for me to get better. The service was good and the food was ok. The majority of the nursing aides were ok, a couple of bad eggs but overall good. The male aides are excellent. I would recommend this facility. They helped me get home faster than I thought

If I ever have to come back for a rehab, I hope I would be here. Well, I had to come back and things are very different this time-not in a good way. Experiencia positiva: Food is way better than hospital food. The rehab is fun, and I feel like I got stronger with it. When I first got to Rochester Center, I had no energy, I was flat and drained and unable to get up. It took some time, but now I'm able to walk independently and that is because of the encouragement from the therapy department. The nursing department is friendly and I feel welcomed here. My favorite nurse is Tracy and Ivan is a good guy. The overall experience was really good. I'm only giving 4 stars because noone is perfect, but the facility is way better than I expected.

Administrator is one of the nicest guy in the building. Very likeable. Shout-out to all my aides and nurses, I like them all all and nobody give me no problems. Good people.

Experiencia positiva: My experience here in the nursing home has been overall positive. The staff here are attentive overall, although some are not so good. The nurses are excellent, the unit manager is fantastic and the rehab staff are amazing. Some of the CNA have what to be desired. The management here in the building are attentive to concerns and I feel like they take my concerns seriously. I understand no nursing home is perfect, but overall I am satisfied with my stay.

Experiencia negativa: My wife is currently in there for rehab after a leg infection. While some of the staff seems friendly and capable, they are constantly running out of basic supplies. Things like wheelchairs and briefs. They frequently have loud parties in the hallway, sometimes late at night or early in the morning. She has frequently asked for help in getting basic services and has had to wait for hours on end for anyone to respond. This place needs a thorough overhaul from top to bottom before I would recommend it to anyone.

They facility is dirty and management is oblivious on how to run a proper nursing home. The pictures online do not depict how the faculty actually looks. Some not all staff should be in jail for abuse and neglect. This place should be shut down immediately!! If I could give no stars I would!!

Experiencia negativa: If I could give this nursing home zero stars I.would. CHLOE PALMARI who's in social work, possibly the Director is so rude and nasty. I called CHLOE regarding my dad a couple different times and she sounded as if she was working from home and in her pajamas. CHLOE PALMARI was very nonchalant about my dad safety issues and about his wallet with money that could've been missing. CHLOE PALMARI treatment me as if my dad was a Medicaid recipient and as if she was working for DMV and he'd owed a bill. Not one time did she follow up with me. She might just be the first step as to taking the GHETTO OUT OF THIS PLACE IM SURE SHE TRAINING THE MEAN GIRLS !!! DO NOT SEND YOU FAMILY FOR REHAB HERE!!!!

Saggy pants and graphic tees and a sloppy look all around. Welcomed mom. Seemed very unorganized. Looks like leadership lacks. 2 Cnas complaining that something was not their job. Looks very scary

Experiencia negativa: To be totally honest the staff was very kind and friendly. However the floor that my grandfather was on was absolutely horrendous and disgusting. Like I was on the verge of throwing up, it smelled terrible and was not cleaned very well. Quite frankly I was disappointed at the conditions he was put in. Don’t let these pictures on some of these other reviews fool you! Not all of the floors are the same, I understand if they were renovating the floor my grandfather was on, but it should NEVER smell like THAT. I would totally give this place a four star review just for the staff alone, though I can’t because the conditions are so bad.
