Hopper, we apologize for any inconvenient wait times. With the nature of a walk-in facility, patient volumes fluctuate and can mean either no wait time or some of a wait time. We try to keep it minimal and hope you will give us another opportunity.

Experiencia fantástica: I went in for a urine test today. The receptionist was very sweet and there was good communication. I was in and out very fast. And the doctor was very nice.
Experiencia negativa: Had an appointment for a urine test and arrived 15 minutes early but ended up going to the back to actually do it around 30-45 minutes after I'd checked in. There was a homeless man who was wandering the building exterior and then came in, distracting the front desk, and then a group of children waiting for their parent (?) who were told to wait in the lobby. The queue behind me was a bit insane as well. The actual urine test took less than thirty minutes and nobody walked out before I went in, so I'm not sure what the hold-up was. I've had to do urine tests here once before and similarly had to wait quite a bit past my check-in and appointment time despite arriving early. Generally this place seems either understaffed or poorly managed (or both) and is a clusterfudge, to put it bluntly. If there were another option nearby, I would go there instead.
We appreciate your feedback and will relay this to our team. Upon review of your visit, the other gentleman in the lobby was indeed a customer, who was having a pertinent discussion with the front desk. We did have two employees unexpectedly out that day, so we apologize for the delay.
Experiencia negativa: I’ve been here twice now and both times were a terrible experience. Seriously long wait time both times and the front desk lady is always rude. They need another receptionist on staff because apparently this one can’t figure out how to check someone in less than 30 minutes.
Experiencia fantástica: Overall I was delighted to get the care I needed and everyone was very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend this care team. The provider, Claire Jordan, was very kind and thorough explaining all I needed to know. The receptionist abd triage tech were very helpful and kept me informed. The online appointment process was a little chalkenging as it had too many steps and the images of my cards weren't able to be used and the receptionist had to key them in manually. Also, the online appointment led me to believe that there would be no wait but I had to wait about 20 minutes. Not bad, since another urgent care told me it would be a four hour wait. Overall great experience! I'm getting better quickly thanks to this great care team

I’m from out of state for work and needed to be seen badly and they refused to take a picture copy of my insurance card, they would only except the physical card which I’ve never had to do anywhere else. Would not see me and were very short and rude about it. Not a good feeling when you’re from out of town and sick and needing help. Olmsted down the road was a MUCH better experience and they had no problem accepting my digital copy of my insurance card.

Experiencia negativa: Avoid this for-profit mess. The care is barely average, the extra/tack on fees are as bad as Ticketmaster, and the billing department is so disorganized that I can only presume it is intentional.
Comparatively, you will naturally find cost differences between non-profit and other facilities. In actuality, our pricing is below the MN average industry standard and extra fees can only be directly associated with additional services performed. If you have experienced challenges with billing concerns, we would like to be of help, but cannot find you registered within our patient roster. Please reach out [email protected], so we may be of further help.

Experiencia negativa: Speed is quick. Previous provider they had was awesome. They have this younger girl now that doesn’t care. Her response is all providers are different. Won’t be returning! Edit: this is the second time this provider has done nothing and I am now having to seek treatment elsewhere due to my face being severely swollen. My complaint is only with this comp care so there is where the problem lies. She may be great but not at a Urgent Care setting.
Mike, based on your described symptoms, it appears that you were treated and instructed appropriately based on updated medical guidelines for use of the provided medications. We understand that medical guidelines for appropriate medication use does not always align with patient preferences, however, we do prioritize evidence based medicine for safety of our patients.

COMMUNICATION IS THE ONE THING #2 medical facility in town just CANNOT seem to do & has TOTALLY FAILED at in my experience. Claire at CompCare- Rochester, AS WELL AS Dawn at the Front Desk, made me feel Welcome and both LISTENED to me which resulted in both of them doing what they are paid to do - HELP THE PATIENT Efficiently and with Compassion ! Much Appreciate Ladies! ☺️

Experiencia negativa: The provider and nurse did a good job. The receptionist had a lot of issues with my insurance card. I gave pictures before I got there. I gave her the physical card when there and she made copies. Once I left she needed me to send more pictures of the card. She said my insurance showed up was Med Cali even though it is private insurance through an employer. I honestly don't think they ever figured it out. Then I noticed the tetanus shot I received there was never reported to the state. So, I have no record of actually receiving it. It seems like it'd be a pretty big deal to not report vaccines given.
Experiencia negativa: This facility is a joke. If you have time to waste feel free. Front desk is oblivious to who walks in. They expect you to stand there and look frustrated waiting to get any sort of help, especially when there are no other people in line.

Experiencia negativa: Absolute worst experience in a clinic I've ever experienced. Never ever use this clinic for anything! I brought my daughter in for a pre-employment tb test and everything that happened was an absolute disaster. The girl doing the blood draw took us to a room. She left because her blood draw kit was missing something and it took her about 10 minutes to come back. She left for a question. That took about 10 minutes more. She couldn't find a vein, finally found something and then moved the needle around several times only to declare she couldn't get any blood. She took another 10 minutes to go fetch some water because she blamed it on my daughter being dehydrated. (She wasn't). She then tried a different location and got some. I asked her if they had enough. She went and asked someone and 10 minutes later came back and said it should be fine. All in all, we were there for over an hour and my daughter left light-headed and with a serious bruise on her arm with NUMEROUS pokes. I thought it was all over. But, it was only beginning. I get a call the next day that they did not have enough and we had to come in again. I requested a different person to do the draw and thought everything would be fine. Fast forward to a week later and they call and tell me they have the results but don't know where to send it. Apparently they misplaced all the forms we bought in. They found them and said they would send immediately. Fast forward to another week later and I find out my daughter's employer STILL does not have the test results. I was assured it was handled today. So thank you CompCare for screwing up my daughter's first job. I really appreciate it. And the best part, any contact information for anyone in a supervisory position over there is under lock & key. So, hopefully they check their Google reviews.

Experiencia negativa: Well, I wish I would have read the reviews before going to this place. Just look at the reviews, this companies billing department is absolutely ridiculous! As stated in other reviews, the phone number does not match the voicemail number, they don’t return your call when you are able to get through and leave a voicemail. Constantly get txt messages that my payment needs to be made when they have had my card information for months, have only taken 2 payments from me when it should have been at least 4, they txt back days later saying they have updated my account info, when obviously not cause I get a txt the next month w/the same thing. NOW, they threatened me with a collections if I don’t pay. I will say, the clinic I went to, the staff, nurses and doctor were great, this has nothing at all to do with them. It’s Comp Care itself that really needs to get their end straightened out, especially the billing department and phone system. Horrible! I would hate to say don’t go there for the staff side because they are doing their jobs correctly, but don’t go there because the business itself is not a good one. If it’s not an emergency, and can wait to get into another clinic, go to a more reputable clinic. Never again with this place for me! If I could post w/out a star I would.

Experiencia negativa: I went in for a TB test for a job and they did the worst blood draw I've ever had. The "nurse" who drew my blood had difficulties finding a vein and thought it was a good idea to wiggle the needle around while it was still inside my arm. She never found my vein. I told her that it hurt and I was starting to feel light headed. She did the exact opposite of what you're supposed to do. She left the room to go get help, instead of calling for help. Also, there were droplets of blood still on the floor from a previous patient. I will never cross their threshold again. Hands down the absolute worst health care I've ever received.

And now their inbox is full and you can’t even leave a message. Their website does not have any customer service or complaint information. There is no way to talk to an actual person at this company. Do not use Compcare! Update! I stand by my original review. I did email them last week and there still has been no response. They also said someone would get back to me shortly yesterday and that never happened. I am not the only person who has had this issue with compcare not responding regarding billing problems. Don’t go to Compcare!!

Experiencia negativa: I am honestly frustrated with this company. I paid a bill then realized they never even sent it to my insurance. I then received a letter from my insurance stating they paid it, just took them forever to send it in to them. Well now Compcare has been double paid! I have called, all their phones are disconnected, I have emailed the billing, and NOTHING! I have attempted to contact through several different methods, I want my money back!

Experiencia fantástica: We have visited multiple times as a family. The service has always been professional, speedy, and friendly! We always choose Compcare instead of trying to get into our primary care doctor. We have yet to have a bad experience! Plus they have a treasure box for kids!
Experiencia negativa: As others have stated, their billing department is horrible. I paid my husband's bill in full upon receiving the initial invoice. Two months later, and I'm still receiving invoices in the mail and constant texts saying that the bill still needs to be paid. I tried calling the phone number on the invoice, and the number isn't even in service. After calling the business directly and being transferred to billing, it just goes to voicemail and no one ever calls back. It's absolutely ridiculous to have to spend this much time and energy on a bill I already paid. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else!

Experiencia negativa: Compare is hands down one of the worst places I’ve visited for care. I waited in the waiting room for over an hour, nurses were talking around in the back but didn’t look like anyone was really up to anything. This place continues to be one of the slowest places.

Experiencia fantástica: I went for what I suspected was a very bad sinus infection. Everyone that worked with me was kind and compassionate. Not once did anyone make me feel uncomfortable for being ill. I was given a prescription for an antibiotic, and given very good advice on self-care.

Experiencia negativa: Went in to get fingerprinted.. machine wasn’t working but staff said it was ok now I’m back home and have email that I need to return. Furthermore, realize that people are getting tested for Covid and symptomatic but not wearing a mask furthermore none of the staff were wearing masks!! A medical facility without a mask requirement during a pandemic?! Should be ashamed. Also no handicap entrance? Come on really. Don’t go here. Response to CompCare response below: i’m glad you do the absolute minimum for accessibility. Feel proud of yourself. Every other healthcare facility in Olmsted county requires masks. Highly doubt you are compliant and if so I’m glad you’re doing the minimum you can do if not actually spreading the virus more.
Thanks for your concern Adam. Fingerprinting is actually performed by Idemia, not our office. However we realize your frustrations. In the future please call Idemia directly. Our office is following all required mask mandates and have signage stating so. Mandates have changed since covid began. Our offices meet all ADA requirements.

Lady who did the fingerprints was crabby and didn't care that my wrist doesn't bend the way its supposed to.... also complained that my skin was very dry and it was difficult to pick up my prints... well in the throws of a pandemic it's not just my skin that's dried out from sanitizer....

Experiencia negativa: I scheduled my Covid test for 4:40 it’s now 5:22 I’m sitting here feeling horrible now for 44 minutes for a self collect kit . The app allows you to see whose in line it’s showing I’m the only one here yet I’m still sitting here waiting . I chose this place thinking it would be quicker and it’s actually taken longer than Mayo Clinic’s testing . I won’t be returning .
Experiencia fantástica: This has been one of the best medical experiences I have had in Rochester to date. I called all over for a TB reading for school and no one would help me. Someone recommended CompCare and I had the pleasure of speaking with Lorenzo. He is the absolute friendliest and most patient person. He told me he would wait for me even if it was a little after 5 to assist me with this as it’s super urgent I get it in ASAP. He realized this and gave me the best care. I am so grateful to him and this site. Please come here above all over minute clinics and if Lorenzo if there I guarantee you’ll get the best care and support. Thank you!!!
